Guest Reviews
- K342WUdavidn (10/5): . - loved my stay at hartlepool marina.lovely views over the marina. hayley on reception was excellent a credit to the company.
- R1293PJannam (6/5): Problem solved - We had some problem with the room and Sarah the receptionist was very nice and helpful and sorted everything for us she changed the room for us
- dc8102018 (10/5): Great hotel - Great hotel Erika on the front reception was exceptionally helpful with any concerns that I may have had during my stay at the premier inn
- stephenlC2824CI (10/5): Lovely stay! - Lovely stay again! Erika on reception was so helpful, assisting with my any troubles I had (losing keycards mainly) always smiling. Keep up the good work!
- lottieo410 (2/5): Extremely unhappy!! - We stayed here as had a family party to go to and travelled 2 hours to get here. I was disgusted after I had given my 4 year old son a bath to discover mould in the bathroom. As we had to get ready quickly to get out we didn’t get a chance to tell the staff until we got downstairs to go to the party, but there wasn’t anyone on reception so had to wait until the morning to say something. There was also a smell in the room because of the mould. We woke up the next day to all feeling congested especially my son. There was also a sock left under the bed so I’m guessing our room wasn’t thoroughly checked before arriving. I found out from a staff member that they are having issues with mould because of their guttering.
- Blondie44444 (2/5): Don’t do it - I was happy that I was still alive the next morning. As a woman travelling alone I didn’t feel safe. I was given a room ground floor with windows on side. I was a late check in and my room number was given out loud with multiple people in reception. I didn’t appreciate that. Other hotels have been very mindful of a woman travelling alone. The bathroom was cold and worn down, the whole room and corridor smelt damp and most of the water from my shower ended up in the ceiling! I gave up at that point and had a wash using the bath tap!
- alexxpauls (10/5): Easy. Fast. Great receptionist - Easy booking, nice quiet location and was greeted by the lovely receptionist. Sarah was chatty, efficient and made it easy to check in. Thanks so much
- lukesK7027RX (10/5): Good stay, great staff - A good stay in the hotel. Clean and well presented room. Erika on the desk was very helpful with sorting my accommodation and parking out as well as assistance with amenities in my room
- suejX2536LQ (10/5): A Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Service - We had a wonderful stay at Premier Inn Harlow Mills, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and peaceful! everything you hope for after a long day of travelling. The room was spotless, the bed was incredibly cosy, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to relax.
A special mention has to go to Ana on reception, who truly made our stay exceptional. From the moment we arrived, she was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. She checked us in with a smile, made us feel right at home, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Her warmth and professionalism really set the tone for our visit.
We also had a lovely experience at the Beefeater next door. The food was really nice, freshly cooked, and great value for money. It was the perfect way to end the day, and we enjoyed every meal.
We would definitely stay here again! highly recommended!
- B3205UFneilh (10/5): Very good experience - I want to thank and commend the hotel Manager Paul for his exceptional service during our stay. He was not only pleasant and very polite but also incredibly helpful in addressing the cleanliness issues we encountered in our room.
Would stay again !

- lukebG4097DN (10/5): Weekend stay - Excellent service. Welcoming staff. Place was clean and tidy. Easy to deal with and my experience was good. Would recommend
- nataliegW7054LA (4/5): Disappointing - We arrived at the venue an hour early, the girl on the desk was talking on her mobile phone, we were offered early access to our room for £15. I'm glad we didn't pay it, parking was £3 also which we did had to pay, although we couldn't get a disabled bay. We checked in to our room once we had been out with friends. We couldn't get to sleep due to the noise made from people moving around the hotel, we were woken up early for the same reason, it was awful. We won't be returning. The only good point was the view.
- phreviewtrip (8/5): Harlow North Premier Inn - Yes the hotel is a little tired in places, but the staff were helpful and courteous. Good to be able to safely park the car. The adjacent restaurant was fine, but breakfast is not available until 07.00, so if like me you need to leave early, it is a little inconvenient. In general though, the hotel is comfortable and I have stayed previously and would be happy to stay again.
- Tessa-smart (4/5): Not great. - Worst premier inn we've stayed at. There was a funky smell in the hallways and in the rooms. Some interesting suspicious stains on various bits of furniture. When we got there it stank for bleach in the room which we worked out was around the window, maybe trying to get rid of some of the black mould that was around the windows. Room felt extremely damp too. Oh and the head board had clearly met some sweaty heads in it's time TV turned on then you couldn't do anything with it. And if you fancy a lay in, we'll not to worry you'll hear everything everyone else is up too from the early hours onwards.
- T5950QEjohnt (10/5): Quality Stay - Visiting Hartlepool for the football
Stayed ta Premier Inn Quay Side and to be honest it's one of the best Premier Inns that I've ever stayed in
- 997mickb (8/5): Very welcoming - The staff were really helpful especially the reception Sarah who greeted people with a large welcoming smile and very willing to help
- alanc145 (10/5): 1st class stay - Lovely hotel set in the Marina. Very clean , all amenities, very comfortable. All in all a very pleasant couple of nights and will be back.
- kazb2020 (10/5): Great hotel - Your staff was great very welcoming and great sleep as I was working nights will be staying again in the future I will be spreading the word about this premium inn in Harlow mill
- Robert276992 (4/5): Tired, not vfm. - Tired room, overpriced, many niggling small faults, small room. Heating controls either a mystery or did not function. Long time since staying at Premier Inn, probably be as long before the next time. Compared to Holiday Inn Express, there is none.
- goodfellaf (2/5): Worst experience I’ve had at a hotel, breakfast at the beef eater was horrendous. - Arrived at the hotel at 21.15 to check in after driving for 3 hrs, walked into the lobby and was completely blanked by the receptionist and told to wait, there was no cue. I told her I had a reservation and asked what time breakfast was available she said between 7-11 gave me the key. There was no hello or welcome to the hotel. We decided to have our evening meal in the beefeater next door. We walked in and trevor was at the front desk i asked for a table for 5 people and was told we would have sit in the bar even though the restaurant was completely empty. We ordered the meals which came to nearly £90 the food was disappointing with the smallest portions I have ever seen.
Returned the next morning for breakfast and was told by Trevor that we should of booked a time slot for breakfast, I explained we was not told by the hotel and another customer next to me confirmed he was told the same.
We were given a seat and Trevor offered to book us a time slot for the next morning for breakfast. We attended a wedding that evening.
Next morning we arrived for breakfast at 10 as confirmed by Trevor and was told that there was no booking for our room number. We had to wait for 20mins before being offered a table, there was no water orange juice or apple juice available, I left before my partner and then my partner was charged £34 for breakfast when I prepaid when I booked the hotel room. The whole experience was horrendous, there was no communication between the hotel and restaurant would not recommend to anyone,
- gazrey8814 (6/5): Poor reception and made to feel uncomfortable - The hotel is ok for the town. It's about a 20 minute walk, but the taxis are about 10-15 euro. The room was as expected, really comfortable beds, and on the whole, not an issue at all. The trains went almost under our room, but once the window was shut, it really wasn't an issue.
The staff here couldn't have been any more unfriendly if they tried, however. From check-in to most interactions, they just weren't interested in the slightest. There was 1 young lady who was really nice, 2 young lads that were just ok and then the rest were just awful. Made us feel truly unwelcome and uncomfortable. Was more annoyed when they were chatty and friendly with other national guests but really off with us. Totally put us off returning as we had hoped for the octoberfest. Wouldn't recommend for British guests.
- MazzaM-London (10/5): Great Location - If you've used a premier inn before you know what to expect. The location of this Premier Inn is great. The views of the Marina certainly from our room (137) were lovely. The breakfast was a good fry-up. A special mention to Deb who greeted us at breakfast time with a warm welcome and a smile.
We would stay again
- Tempestseeker (4/5): Worst ever stay in a Premier Inn - Good things first: Friendly staff, comfortable bed, quiet room…but room was very cobwebby with resident spiders and a thick layer of dust on lampshades and heaters. Furniture had peeling laminate, curtains of different lengths on the same window instead of a matching pair, worn carpet and kettle was scaly.Wifi wasn’t great. Breakfast and dinner supplied by the Beafeater- the smell of sewage as you walked through into the restaurant in the evening was grim but the food was good.Staying to attend a wedding- would not choose to stay again.
- N5925NTdarrenc (2/5): Poor experience - Very poor hotel with other guest making too much noise overnight. Unable to make contact with any staff at 0230 to complain about noise from other guests. Will never stay at this hotel again
- kevinwood69 (8/5): Needs a Tweak in certain areas - My only complaint is that the accessibility rooms are located far too far away from the main reception so if you have mobility problems its a No No and the bathroom body wash dispenser's are a complete waste of time and need to be updated with better quality ones . I've heard the excuses that the accessible rooms were built on an extension of the hotel but that is not good enough when building the extension they should of move the accessible rooms nearer the reception. Other than that the Hotel is good . as far as the breakfast !!! its very average !!!! tell the chef you cannot pre cook poach eggs , the rest of the options were below average so I only had one breakfast
- ivangrigs (10/5): Very happy - The best service the best staff room very comfortable louise and hayley were extremely helpful would recommend highly
- lazeedaydream99 (8/5): Nice premier inn in a nice location. - We stopped here on our way back from LeShuttle to Leeds. Nice location and building. We enjoyed breakfast at the pub opposite although would prefer to serve ourselves the cooked breakfast. The only reason for the 4 stars is that we struggled to sleep because of the how hot the room was overnight although it did have a fan, which helped somewhat. It was only a problem because of the heatwave at the time.
- Wander46568964302 (10/5): Warm and clean stay - Staff were really warm and friendly. Made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was good and staff there made it pleasant for us aswell. Find the duck game in the room for kids was unexpected and a nice touch.
- Roam48274312476 (6/5): Nice setting - This hotel is set in a very tranquil setting with lovely canal walks nearby. We even walked to local leisure park, so enjoyed our walks.
This is our 4th time at hotel and did experience cleanliness issues in the past, but felt on this occasion, our .last, to write a review.
The initial reception on arrival was very unwelcoming. Considering it being our 4th time. The following morning when we greeted reception with a good morning it was not reciprocated. The hotel has very tired decor. Our room had tired carpet with fray ends at bathroom edge. Fan full of dust. And when you open window we noticed lots of cobwebs.
Despite hotel issues, Lovely setting beefeater on site for breakfast which was OK.
We won't be returning.
- kimbN4895DC (2/5): Awful place to stay, - Awful experience. Rooms, small, tired and shabby. Evidently you are only entitled to compensation if you have a “disturbed’ nights sleep. Doesn’t matter that the rooms are awful and require refurbishment. Restaurant appearance of similar disposition.
- suemiles60 (10/5): Pleasant weekend away - Right on the marina, great views! Staff very helpful and friendly. Couldn’t do enough for us. Clean, tidy, and comfortable as expected.
- 572dawnc (8/5): Good - Our stay for 3 nights was good. The rooms are too hot in the summer and could do with having some Aircon fitted. A fan was provided. The noise level outside was good, but we had a family of elephants above us and at 3am were woken up by their stomping around. Next time I'll ask for an upstairs room!
Say was mostly comfortable.
- JessicaB9446 (10/5): Amazing customer service - Hailey at reception was an absolute angel when I booked the wrong hotel for business by accident. She helped me reorganise my booking all within about 30 minutes and was so calm and kind. She made a very long journey end on a positive and I am very grateful for her wonderful kindness and amazing customer service, thank you Hailey!
- Coastal266938 (10/5): Lovely visit to Marine Hotel - I had come by train up from Hampshire- my son met me at station and brought me to hotel - i am old and a bit disabled. It was lovely to be greeted by lovely Melanie and her colleague. The room i had been allocated was far from entrance - Melanie was able to find me a room near reception with much less walking- so a big thank you to you Melanie - 5 gold stars to you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The room was clean and comfortable. So altogether a lovely visit.
- isabellakI8113MI (10/5): Nice - The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was good. I would definitely recommend! You are also close to a few restaurants.
- Kevanp02 (10/5): The best Premier Inn - This has got to be the BEST Premier Inn that we’ve stayed in. The receptionist Erika is just so friendly and great with kids. The highlight was the duck hunt in the hotel room which got us all involved. We almost turned the room upside down to look for it! Location is fantastic and the view is just amazing. A very memorable stay.
- vandorn23 (10/5): Great stay yet again - We always stay here when visiting family. Always spotlessly clean and we even got a complimentary pack of biscuits this time and a welcome note. It’s these touches that make a wonderful hotel. Staff are always fantastic and nothing is too much trouble.
- jeremyturtle10 (10/5): Absolutely first class - This is probably the best Premier inn we have been to and we have stayed in many . Reception staff beyond first class. Bedrooms great. No plus rooms in this hotel. View over the marina is magnificent. Brewers Fayre next door is also first class. Seriously this is a fantastic Premier Inn.
- steveaI5416QY (2/5): Avoid in the summer if you want to get any sleep - I've stayed here many times since September 2024, but this will be the last. I extra paid for a room with a harbour view. What they don't tell you in the summer is you will be kept awake until 2.00am with kids fishing on the harbour and shouting and swearing right outside your room. The whole area seems to be plagued with teenagers riding bikes on one wheel, dropping rubbish, smashing bottles and generally running riot. I'm all for kids being out, but when it goes until 2.00am it becomes anti-social. Coupled with the rip-off car parking charges and I (like the rest of my colleagues) will spend our money elsewhere.
- rachelcJ9178LS (10/5): Really friendly staff, comfortable stay at a reasonable price - We were visiting family in the area and this was a good choice for us. The room was clean and comfortable (the beds are amazing) and we had a lovely Marin a view (room 36). It was quiet and we had no problems in the hotel. The parking charges are clearly advertised on the website and frankly it’s not the fault of the staff here, that’s down to the senior management of PI. The breakfast was OK - it’s not as good as PI breakfasts used to be but it as freshly cooked and there was plenty of it. We had a table overlooking the other side of the Marina which was fantastic and kept my son entertained.
The best thing was the staff - everyone was cheerful, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble - I left ly headphones in the room and the receptionist and manager have helped send them back to me.
We will be back! Thank you all for a great stay.
- averind (10/5): Cheap hotel near central station - This hotel is very good
The staff is nice, reception area is very beautiful. Reception works 24/7
Room was nice and quiet - very good soundproofing of windows. A train was passing nearby, but there was no sound in the room.
I really like this hotel and set 5 stars for it
- RDChh (10/5): Short and Sweet - The stay was comfortable and perfectly suited for a business trip. The rooms are a little small in size as for any city hotel. The environment was peaceful and relaxing, allowing for both focused work and restful downtime. Overall, it provided an ideal balance of comfort and functionality for a professional traveler.
- Zizi04 (6/5): Pros and cons - Positives: new hotel, so interior is modern and clean. Also very easy to find, and the car park is also very easy to access. Negatives: car chargers are out of use and it doesn’t mention this on the website. Anyone with an ev will know what a pain this is. Reception staff had no back up plan - couldn’t tell us where we could charge the car. Had to work it out ourselves. Room directly across from rail tracks, so constant rail noise if you open the window (ask for a room away from the rail lines). Finally, I would only recommend for passing through - it is not close to anything.
- 13rafb (10/5): Nice hotel - Perfect Hotel For a stopover very close to the city centre Very kind and helpful Staff (Agnieszka And Klaudia from reception )
Very clean And big rooms
Very good food in the restaurant and nice atmosphere.
- Wen146 (8/5): Good Stopover hotel with big family rooms - We stayed here overnight on a stopover to Berlin. It was perfect for that purpose. A little far if the purpose is to explore Hanover. Cannot beat the price. We stayed in a family room but the bathroom was small in comparison but clean. I would give breakfast a miss. Not much choice and when the juice ran out she brought a jug and left it in front of the machine. The hotel pales in comparison to the hotel in Dusseldorf. We chose to stay elsewhere on the way back. Still I give it 4 stars as it was a solid hotel at an amazing price
- RoBuJuTheFirst (2/5): Definitely NOTHING for 🏳️⚧️ anybody 🏳️🌈 in the LGBTQ ⚧️ community … don‘t support this hotel !!! - The MOST gay if not LGBTQ UNFRIENDLY hotel on earth … Stone Age when it comes to diversity and inclusion … discrimination !!! This in the June month is more than embarrassing 😳 a real shame … what an old fashion British hotel chain … even in the UK unpleasant interiors and awful long check-out procedures
- pjonesy27 (10/5): This hotel is truly a hidden diamond in Hannover - We were driving to Warsaw for Easter, halfway from Calais to Warsaw is Hannover we have stayed in Hannover a few times previously before thay had a Premier Inn.
I like a bargain nice Hotel and in the UK that's what Premier Inns are, so I thought I'd give this one a go.
The Hannover Premier inn is on a different level to any UK Premier inn, as soon as you walk into the lobby the decor and style of this hotel os completely different to any Premier Inn in the UK, the staff are very friendly, everyone we spoke to spoke perfect English, checking in was easy, there's a private car park at the back of the hotel, the entrance is on the left side, it cost €12 for the night, check in was easy and it was as €59 for a family of 4 for one night.
Imagine our surprise when we opened our door and realised we had a whole suite, 2 large connected rooms, both with separate TVs and seating areas, both were immaculately clean, they shared one bathroom with a wall in shower, only downside was the glass door.
We all slept great, then had a lovely breakfast, there's plenty of choices for everyone including a hot breakfast or continental and like the UK kids eat free.
I can't praise this hotel enough, we ended up staying again on our return trip, I will 100% be staying again.
And the staff were very kind and helpful, there was a Syrian gentleman we were chatting to on the first stay, very friendly and helpful.
- L7014ZHpetew (10/5): Superb stay in Hanover - Stayed here for 4 nights with the family. Having two rooms.
The hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful with all things during our stay. We arrived a little earlier than their check in time due to flights but they were very accommodating in getting us in our rooms early so we could explore Hanover straight away.
Can't go wrong with a Premier Inn. Rooms were comfortable, not massive but more than acceptable. Hotel located within a 15 minute walk of the main train station. Being a typical city hotel, the room was very quiet in a busy road area so weren't disturbed at all.
Breakfast was pretty good too; good enough selection to set you up for the day.
- muttibey (10/5): Good 🤙🏾 - We stayed there for exhibition and it was a perfect experience. Room was very clean. Hotel staff was very friendly. Breakfast was more than enough. You can find anything from cold to hot. The coffee machine was very handy. The location of the hotel was perfect. You can walk anywhere. Overall it was a very good experience.
