Guest Reviews
- Fatboytravel (10/5): Brilliant management and staff - Review from Mr and Mrs Harding – Norfolk
Date of stay: 21st & 22nd November
We would like to share our experience at the Premier Inn, while also offering a reminder to future guests who may be quick to leave negative feedback without considering the full picture.
We stayed to celebrate our anniversary and to see Mary Poppins. Our room was clean, comfortable, and perfectly acceptable, and every member of staff we encountered was exceptionally friendly. Upon arrival, the parking arrangements were clearly explained. Yes, they were a little confusing at first, but nothing unreasonable—and certainly nothing deserving of the harsh comments we noticed in other reviews. The parking process is managed by an external company, and all the details are available both onsite and online. There is no need to criticise hotel staff for something outside of their control.
Regarding our dining experience, we purchased the meal deal. Our food took longer than expected to arrive, leaving us only 30 minutes before the show. While this wasn’t ideal, we fully appreciate that delays can happen. The staff remained professional, attentive, and apologetic throughout. Rather than posting negativity online, we spoke politely with the manager, who was absolutely lovely and resolved the issue immediately and graciously.
This is an extremely busy hotel, and the team—both staff and management—work incredibly hard. They do not deserve unfounded or immature criticism. If something isn’t right, speak directly with the team; in our experience, they are more than willing to help.
Would we stay here again? Absolutely—100%. Our room, our meals, and the service were all more than satisfactory. We are grateful for the gesture from management and look forward to returning in 2026.
To future guests: please take a moment to consider the impact of your words. Honest feedback is important, but unnecessary negativity can unfairly damage the reputation of hardworking people who are doing their very best.
Thank you to all the management and staff—keep up the excellent work.
We will definitely return .
Wonderful management and staff are hard to find but you guys really are doing a great job.
Merry Christmas
Mr & Mrs Harding

- zaraa2013 (6/5): Bad DIY check in process - Good value room and nice breakfast in the morning. Friendly staff. The only reason I didn't give a better review is because of the 'DIY' check in which I think is a really bad way to start a stay. There was no check in desk and I was directed to use the big screens. Not only does this take longer and require you to do something that used to be part of the included service, it also requires you to put personal details on a big screen which anyone behind you could see. In my case, despite putting in all my details, the check in machine did not work so I had to wait for a member of staff to check me in anyway. This all took about 10 minutes when the old process of being served at the check in desk would have taken about 2 minutes.
- Meteorite-Mike (2/5): Dirty Premier Plus room and Double Parking Charges. - I stayed here for 4 nights whilst attending university in Milton Keynes. In the past, Premier inns have usually been too expensive but this was quite reasonable and opted for a little extra to have a Premier Plus room. I had stayed in Premier Plus rooms in other Premier inns and they are usually amazing.
Check in was ok, I had to use the machine as the staff member was busy. When I asked about the parking (you have to pay to park at this hotel), I was told only pay when you check out and not before. I found my room to be ok at first glance but not the best Premier Plus room I’d stayed in. I went down for a bite to eat in the restaurant as the Meal Deal seemed quite good. I was the only person in the restaurant (8pm on a Sunday evening). The staff member (think his name was Bentley) was brilliant. Friendly, helpful and polite. I ordered the mixed grill (I had to pay a supplement to the meal deal but that’s fine). It took nearly 45 minutes to come. When it did come it wasn’t the best. The chicken was hard, the gammon was hard and the peas actually bent the fork when pushed down. I opted for dessert and the ice cream sundae, this again took 25 minutes to arrive, had one small scope of ice cream in the bottom and the rest was made up of squirty cream. I went back to my room and went to bed. The next morning I went for breakfast, again the place was empty. The breakfast wasn’t the best. No fruit, no yoghurt, barely any fruit juice. The bread was hard and the bacon was like rubber. Not worth the £32 meal deal price. When I came back to my room after being at university, I sat down at the desk to do some work, switched on the desk lamp. It kept going from bright to dim, bright to dim. I had a closer look at the lamp and noticed it was really dusty and not clean at all. I made a brew and noticed the kettle was not very clean. I had a closer look at the room and noticed other parts were not up to the usually Premier Inn or Premier Plus standards. When I moved the purple cushion on the chair, there was a collection of used tissues stuffed into the chair.
The lifts were not the best. One was really slow and stopped abruptly at level four, made a loud bang and then continued to level five. The other lift was faster but for several nights, smelt strongly of cannabis.
On my way out the next morning, I spoke with a cleaner on the same floor and mentioned the room wasn’t very clean. Their reply ‘ok sir’. On my way out, a member of the reception team was hoovering at the front door, I asked about parking to double check and also mentioned the room. They reiterated the parking but nothing about the room. When I came back that evening, there was no parking space available in the Premier Inn part of the car park. I had to park in the car park next door which ment I had to pay that evening for that parking. Thankfully it was only £2.00 all night (cheaper than the £7.95 that the premier inn car park)
When I came to check out on the Thursday morning, I got the paper code from reception and when to pay for the 2 nights I’d parked in the premier inn bays. It would only let me pay for 4 nights z I had to pay for parking twice because the staff at the Premier Inn gave bad advice.
There is not enough parking for this hotel and the number of rooms it has. The cleaning in the room was sub-par and the general condition of the room was not good. I did raise these issues with Premier Inn customer service. What after several hours of backwards and forwards for wanting to know more detail. Gave me a ‘good well gesture’ of 10% back for the ‘Unclean room’ . They told me that I had to take up the £16 over charge for the parking up with Horizone Parking as it was not the Premier Inn who dealt with that. But it was your staff who gave the bad information. In total, with the room cost, the meal deal and the parking coming in at over £330 for 4 night. I think the lack on help and the offer of the ‘good will gesture’ was insulting. Sorry Premier Inn, you’ve lost a loyal customer.
- therealkyii (10/5): Great experience - Lovely hotel and lovely staff.
Kwabema was great& greeted us as we come in and helped us with arranged breakfast for the next morning.
also very welcoming and friendly.
good location and lots to do around the area.
- lisasoc14 (10/5): STAFF MAKE THIS PLACE - The staff really do make this place. There are very few staff and they have to work soo hard. A special mention to Tif who always has a smile and is so professional and friendly even when very busy. My apologizes as didn’t get the managers name who checked us in. A lovely blonde lady, again professional and friendly. These 2 are the dream team.
The lovely lady that greeted us at breakfast today 29.11.25 was soo smiley and helpful. Keep doing what you’re doing and see you again soon.
- 222henry (8/5): Lovely location - I love it here. Great location for Monmouth and a short walk to Parkrun on a Saturday morning. Just be warned that the car park has a company running it with excessive charges if you don’t register.
- deborahhZ8273LO (8/5): Great Stay We spent one night here for our family girlie Christmas shop. It has become a family tradition. - The staff here were fabulous. They were friendly and helpful. Kwabena was such a smiling helpful guy. Hopefully you will be here next year. Rooms are ok for the night and beds are always very comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable and hotel situated convenient for the shops.
- LV-UK (8/5): OK stay for a night or two. - An OK stay. Nothing special. Pleasant welcome, room was ok, but lots of dust on several visible surfaces, towels had not been replenished so had to ask for them, toilet tissue holder not stocked to full. It's as if housekeeping did only half the job and hoped we didn't look too hard at the surfaces or need a towel. Breakfast was OK, but the fried eggs were like rubber. Not appealing.
- K3413KVmaryp (10/5): Amazing staff - We were staying here as we were watching a theatre performance for my birthday. The staff were very friendly and kind and were patient. I am an older lady and the modern check in took some getting used to but the staff were more than ready to step in and help when they saw my confusion. I especially want to thank Kwabena who kindly helped me with the parking machine and got my Mary Poppins umbrella from my room which I had left on checkout by mistake. A truly magical experience enhanced by the amazing staff here. I’M sorry I can’t remember the names of the 2 ladies who we chatted to after the show or the friendly staff on the breakfast room but you have all been amazing. Thank you will definitely come back and stay again.
- angust1311 (8/5): Perfect weekend retreat for theatre and shopping - Fabulous location to take in a days shopping at CMK and then the fantastic show, Mary Poppins, at the Milton Keynes Theatre, both within 5 mins of the hotel on foot.
Very comfortable Premier Plus room, great wifi and aircon.
- darciew187 (10/5): Great staff = great experience!! 🩷 - Wow what a lovely receptionist we had yesterday!! Went out her way to help and had such a beautiful aura about her. A very genuine, kind and helpful woman. Thankyou so much :) xx
- Roam27528496209 (10/5): Very good 👍 - Very happy with stay. Rooms clean and tidy. Breakfast very good. Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Especially the manger who went out of her way to help with any issues.
- carlcK8224UY (10/5): Welcoming stay - Great premier inn to stay at, next to the theatre and close to the shopping centre and handy location for a quick London trip. Special mention to Emily who was extremely helpful during the stay and tried to make sure everyone felt welcome and catered for.
- Q5880JRjackk (10/5): Hotel experience - Stayed in this hotel for a couple of months now as we work away, always a warm welcoming and staff are very friendly, we usually check in or out with Emily and she’s always smiling and happy to help anyone that needs it
- juliahD3892HA (10/5): Great stay, good location and room. - We had a really good stay, it’s a convenient location and the rooms and beds are comfortable. Breakfast was good and the staff are helpful.
Kirsty was great, very welcoming and she made us feel special!
We left something in our room by mistake and it was retrieved by a very nice member of staff, our thanks to her.
- Cookie25again (10/5): Warm welcome, great customer service and excellent location - brilliant! - I initially reviewed this specific Premier Inn hotel back in August, and I gave as fair and as thorough a review as possible because our experience was very positive and consequently my review reflected this, and highlighted specific staff who made our stay so very enjoyable.
So much so, that we all came back again for another overnight stay for half-term. We've travelled with our nephew and stayed in Premier Inns since he was a toddler, but now he's a teenager (not yet adult but still wanting to feel a bit more grown-up) we look for hotels with inter-connecting rooms so we can ensure he is safe whilst also having some privacy and independence.
We specifically chose to return this specific hotel because, as well as being in walking distance of the various activities we were going to enjoy (SnoZone, Vertigo VR, Funstation), we were also able to secure the same inter-connecting rooms we had when we stayed here in August. As before, I booked 2rooms online, then rang ahead to request the interconnecting rooms; the hotel staff member was able to track down our August booking, and allocated us the same 2 rooms from this. When I rang again the day before and spoke to Emily, she was able to confirm that those rooms had been "locked down" for us so we had no worries about getting into our rooms quickly on arrival. This was helpful because we had an activity booked for 2pm, and she was able to arrange for us to leave our luggage in our rooms a bit early so we could head straight out.
On arrival, though we did not get to meet Emily, her very helpful colleague was able to see her notes and sort out our check-in very quickly.
Our rooms had all the facilities we needed (particularly grateful for a hairdryer!) and it goes without saying that we had a good night's sleep as expected.
We came down for breakfast at 9.45am, and saw the staff busy, and we were seated very promptly. The Duty Manager, Kirsty, was very visible and hands-on with the team, and keen to ensure everyone was getting everything they needed for their table. It seemed there had been some incident but you would never have known, because the breakfast team were clearly pulling together as one, and supporting each other. That was a really positive thing for me to see. The chef on duty was amazing, so sunny and positive, and doing her very best to keep the hot breakfast items replenished, and personally coming out to deliver specific items to people. There was plenty of everything, and again I commend the consideration of options for many dietary needs.
I've read some of the poorer reviews here, but our 2nd stay here was as good as the first. I am a well-seasoned traveller, and understand that things are not always perfect - what matters is how they are dealt with. Thank you, Kirsty, and your team, for making our stay so enjoyable and yes, we will definitely be back.
- book_keeper60 (6/5): Not usual standard - Location was good for our travel requirements. The allocated room was a lot smaller than the Premier Inn ones we usually stay at, it also had very low ceiling height at one end where the eaves came low down into the room.
Again the bed was smaller than usual (double instead of king size). The shower was a fixed unit over a very high, narrow bath which made getting in and out tricky.
- jadonj179 (10/5): Amazing service - as soon as i walked in the hotel, i was welcomed in by a lovely woman named sam. she had a lot of good energy, she brought a smile to my face.
- Sammiesam1007 (10/5): Fantastic stay! - Our family spent one night at this hotel but we frequently stay at premier inn hotels. I can honestly say this is one of the best premier inns that I have stayed in the staff are absolutely wonderful, super friendly and accommodating . The rooms were very clean and although our room wasnt ready when we arrived but we were kept up to date every minute and staff were very apologetic. I would like to say a particular thank you to SAMANTHA who was an absolute delight at the breakfast reception and made our breakfast experience great and also KIRSTY who was also super helpful and friendly you ladies are amazing! Thank you once again for a wonderful stay and when I am next in MK I will certainly be back!
- N1250NXdanielh (10/5): Fantastic - Great hotel. Manager was a stalwart on shift and very helpful.
Tiff was great behind the bar. Friendly, learnt our drinks after the first round and very efficient. Also had great banter.
- B-L-J0 (10/5): Service with a smile - Tiff behind the bar was so lovely… service with a smile and quick service. Much appreciated to have someone so accommodating.
- Escape52171643689 (10/5): Thoroughly entertaining experience 😍😂 - This is by far the most interesting premier inn we visit while working at Middleton hall in the centre MK! From the manager sweeping up the piles of leaves in the foyer to complimentary stacks of chicken wings! Just brilliant staff especially William who really brightened up our evening with his witty repertoire while serving us.
I have to add that the breakfast chef also seasons the scrambled eggs perfectly - the taste would make Gordon Ramsey happy!
- laloexpress (10/5): Excellent - Always an excellent hotel. Fantastic customer service and facilities.
Relax and comfort.
It is the best option when you ask for fair cost and service.
- bigal (10/5): Great experience - First time stay at this hotel. Booked it earlier this year to attend a local wedding. Due to an unforeseen accident, a couple of weeks before our stay, I contacted the hotel, who changed our room for an accessible room closest to the entrance and restaurant, making life much easier. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, we could not fault them. We tried a dinner and breakfast both of which we enjoyed. We had a very pleasant stay and the hotel staff were excellent. Many thanks it was greatly appreciated.
- N3900EYdavidl (10/5): Clean, comfortable, convenient and welcoming - My wife and I stayed here for a night while walking Offa’s Dyke Path. Clean, comfortable and convenient for visiting Monmouth or surrounding countryside with welcoming staff, as we have come to expect from Premier Inn. We had the ‘Meal Deal’ and the choice on the menu for dinner in the in-house Thyme restaurant has improved as it is more wide-ranging than it used to be. The food was very good. Breakfast was the usual wide-ranging choice.
- SimonPBR (10/5): Great! - Such lovely service and the best premier inn we’ve stayed in. Clearly this used to be an IHG hotel but it’s a really lovely setting and great hotel. Highly recommend and in a nice quiet location. Room beautiful.
- JCR92 (10/5): Reliably clean and comfortable hotel - We've stayed here many times while visiting elderly relative in town. Always dependable, clean, comfortable and easy walk into Monmouth. Staying for two nights we told reception that we didn't need a clean but would like fresh mugs. Actually very surprised, and pleased, to to return to a beautifully tidy and clean room! Thank you!
- yusriyaa2025 (10/5): We had a wonderful stay at this place and enjoyed every moment. They support a charity ( Great Ormond Street Hospital).. - We had a wonderful stay at this place and enjoyed every moment. They support a charity ( Great Ormond Street Hospital). We participated in a charity competition for £2, and it was a lovely experience; my daughter loved everything. I must commend the staff for their excellent care and attentive service..
- 854shirleyh (10/5): Dream stay - Super friendly staff and the most comfortable bed I've slept in in years. Breakfast was absolutely excellent and great value for money.
- aymnh2025 (10/5): What an incredible place to stay! The staff, the food—everything was just perfect. I truly recommend it to everyone... - What an incredible place to stay! The staff, the food—everything was just perfect. I truly recommend it to everyone..
- Ana (8/5): - Good location and good service
- Lindylou146 (8/5): Good value and near town. - We arrived a little early at 2.20 so couldn’t take over our room without paying extra so we left the car and walked the 10 minutes into Monmouth. Later we were checked in by a pleasant gentleman and were allotted a room on the first floor. It was the usual premier inn room with one comfy chair and one upright harder one and nowhere to put the opened suitcases. Only staying for one night we didn’t want to empty them!
Sleep quality was ok….the bed was comfy and the hotel was quiet. The shower was a rainfall one in the bath and there wasn’t a lower attachment. It was also difficult to get in and out of the bath as the sides were quite high.
Breakfast was rather disappointing my husband had the full English which he found adequate.I had the continental which was rather disappointing …..there were croissants and chocolatines, plus one choice of muffin, pancakes( not fresh) and two breads for toasting….one white one brown. A small amount of fresh fruit and some yoghurt. I would have expected for £9 some danish selection and other muffins.
We didn’t have the evening meal but their menu was quite extensive.
Internet was pretty poor…..we were unable to load certain things.
It was good value though for the night and I expect when we visit Monmouth again we will stay here.
- Paul (8/5): - Modern hotel, great for business traveler, food is fine, nice to have it available on site.
Did hear the guest upstairs walking around through the night though.
- andyengland2020 (10/5): Overnight stay - Great location with plenty of parking and easy stroll into Monmouth town centre.
Check in easy and a friendly guy on reception, who even put a birthday card and a box of shortbread in my room, nice little touch.
Rooms are clean, but found climbing in the bath for a shower a little difficult.
Bed as always very comfy and had a great nights sleep.
Would stay again
- victoriaswift269 (10/5): A really good Premier Inn - We stayed for two nights at Monmouth Premier Inn last week with our 3-year old daughter and found it to be excellent for her. We got the usual clean and comfortable Premier Inn standard, but it's clear the manager goes the extra mile for little ones. Our daughter was given a small colouring book and crayons on arrival, there was a kids' corner full of toys in the restaurant/bar which she loved, and the manager even gave her a lollipop one afternoon when we returned fresh from a car nap and she was very upset - which did the trick!
The hotel is in an ideal location very close to the centre of Monmouth. It has plenty of parking. There is a Thyme restaurant offering a great value evening meal + breakfast deal, although we didn't partake as we had other plans. The only downside we found was that the windows do not open and we couldn't get the fan to work effectively to stop the room being very stuffy. I wish they would stop building the newer hotels without opening windows - sometimes you just need some fresh air!
We'll definitely return here if we're in the area again. Thank you for looking after us!
- 988faridam (10/5): Happy with this experience, thank you hotel Premier Inn Monmouth - Great experience, excellent cleanliness, very good staff thank you hotel Premier Inn
I want to come back again🥰🥰🥰🥰
- GoPlaces63759788327 (10/5): Love this place ☺️ - Best Premier Inn ever! Everything was amazing: the staff, the food, the car park, and the reception, which was really helpful and always smiling.
- I9233VQahmede (10/5): Stop for the night - The best hotel in Monmouth! The staff were brilliant, and the service and food were excellent. It was just a short walk to town, and there was a very large car park available. The breakfast was exceptional, They also oelectric car charging. There was a wide variety of choices for both breakfast and evening meals.
- W9686DFsharonj (10/5): Great place to stay - Lovely clean rooms , staff very friendly, the breakfast was very good and the evening meal , we had the meal deal..
Only down side is the windows don’t open and it was very hot , we were given a fan , which helped a lot
- dejayp2025 (4/5): DON'T pay for Guaranteed Early Check-in - It isn't! - Had a one night stay with my disabled daughter after a long 7 hr+ drive so we paid the extra £20 for a guaranteed early check-in from 11am. This fee is high (at ca.20%) but we really needed the room after a long drive for my daughter so I paid it. We eventually arrived at midday expecting to go straight to our room but were told that the previous guest was still in it. I asked if we could have another room and as we had paid for early check in and was told none were available because it was a Sunday and they were short of cleaning staff. We waited for well over an hour to get a room and I said I wasn't happy paying the early check-in fee to which the friendly receptionist said " I agree and as a gesture of goodwill, I have removed the £20 fee". Fair enough I thought even though we'd waited way too long for a pre-booked room that they knew we were coming for. Once in the room it was clean, pleasant and had everything we needed however at breakfast next day (pre-paid) the food was cold and the fried eggs were hilarious, being literally blue around the yolk edges and like rubber disks - Not sure how long the food stays out but this was not normal, I guess because it was a Sunday again?. On returning home, found out that the £20 fee had not been removed as promised so I complained and was told they'd look into it. That was 4 days ago and nothing so I give up. Don't risk an early check-in, it isn't guaranteed and don't eat the cold and mouldy food - Go elsewhere, there are much better options for less money
- mikebN6078YB (2/5): Fined £60 for parking in the hotels carpark!! - I have stayed at Premier Inn Monmouth many times over the last 4 years and always found the staff and accommodation to be an excellent.
However, this time I received a £60 fine for parking in the hotel car park!
No one has ever asked for the cars registration at check in, and the website details states that there is free parking.
- M9146PXdavidg (10/5): Nice Stay - 10 minute walk from Town Centre.
Lots of validation parking.
Reasonable prices for accommodation ,food and drink.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Excellent Room,although Air Con noisy.
Highly recommended.
- 22JR22 (10/5): Great place for a short stay - We were attending a wedding locally and this was an excellent choice of stop over . Really friendly and helpful staff , comfy room and bed and excellent breakfast to set us up for the wedding . It would also be a good base to explore the area and car parking excellent too. Very happy !
- ales663 (6/5): Ok - Good rooms, very spacious and comfortable
No noise and easy to rest
No gym or another amenities
Breakfast very nice, but not simple to keep it gluten free
Staff very friendly
Presence of restaurant, but I did not use it
Location ok for airport, but in the middle of nowhere
- 54RJB (8/5): Great location and VFM - Very convenient for the airport on overnight stay. Spotless clean and 24 hour reception that can’t be more helpful
Great VFM
Breakfast self service in bright open room with good selection of pastry
Train station a short bus or taxi ride and then direct line to München
- TheCoupleFromOhio (10/5): Nice simple airport hotel room - This is an excellent hotel if you want something lower cost and near the airport. It was pretty quiet inside. The rooms seemed bigger than some of the other similarly priced hotels in the area. This is one of my preferred airport hotels. One possible downside is that they do not have a hotel shuttle to the airport. They were, however, able to schedule a taxi for us.
- Y5133DMsarahb (2/5): Avoid - Genuinely awful place. Worst Premier Inn i have ever been to. And i have been to lots. They never made up the room, failed to deliver towels when i asked, the airconditioning did absolutely nothing, the restaurant was always closed at night, the bar never had any food, the service was inconsistent. Please. Avoid it. It will ruin your experiwnce of Munich. The moon has more atmosphere. Premier inn needs to do a better job of monitoring its overseas locations.
- 906ilana (2/5): A Nightmare on elm street - Family of 5 (3 kids). Single night.
Don't go there!!!!!!!!!
We arrived late (@ 22:00) due to flight delay. I called the same morning to make sure our rooms will be available (I left credit details as they required)
I asked for 2 attached room again as stated in the booking remarks some half a year ago.
Upon arrival, (after a very long tiring day), we were the only people at the reception desk.
For nearly one hour the incapable receptionists (2, 3 different people) wasn't able to perform the check in, we got bad attitude and "eye roalling". At some point the receptionist got so frustrated from her inability that she just left us and slammed the reception back office door so hard that it nearly broke.
After a while the magic finally happend and we got 2 rooms but not one next to the other.
Of course that the keys didn't worked and we had to walk back to the reception to fix them...
In the kids room, the 3rd bad wasn't made and there was no one to open it or made it for us.
So we once again had to walk back all the way to the reception to ask them for help. No one was able to help with the bed !!!!
At this point we got very mad , my wife just asked for linen and she made the bad for the kids.
No "real" options for gluten free food at breakfast - we also discussed this matter before booking but no true gluten free solutions
- 626ianj (10/5): Good hotel for airport - Good hotel, large clean and quiet room. Got a reasonable price (room only) on line. Good location for getting early flight. There is free on street parking close by (time limit!). Used a local park and fly service to get to airport
- Jilly1928 (10/5): Great Place to Stay - Near Munich Airport - We stayed here having flown into Munich Airport to start our skiing holiday in Austria, we hired a car and wanted to stay overnight before setting off the next morning. Can highly recommend this hotel, we also stayed overnight on our return journey. Easy to catch a bus to the nearest railway station to visit Munich. Staff here were friendly and very helpful. Everywhere was immaculate and spotlessly clean. Rooms very generous and quiet, great bathrooms with fantastic shower. Breakfast was excellent, good selection and dishes replenished quickly. Breakfast team were again, lovely and welcoming and helpful. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
- A3894EIjasond (4/5): No Aircon During Heatwave! - The hotel was nice, breakfast good, but the whole experience was let down by the air conditioning throughout the whole hotel being broken, and no fans being available. On speaking to the staff (11-13 Sep 23) it seems the aircon has been broken for 3 weeks, and no sign of a quick fix. Why don't they tell you this wne you check in (I would have changed hotels!); Why haven't the management brought in fans?
Advice from staff was to 'open a window', which did not go down well. Got a free drink, but expect the staff are really fed up with the situation too, and having to deal with sweaty, tired and unhappy customers.
My advice to anyone travelling soon is to call ahead and check if the aircon has been fixed. Now I am going to try my luck with the Premier Inn Good Night Guarantee scheme; wish me luck!
- Moody751 (10/5): Good airport hotel - Excellent overnight stay near Munich airport. Newly furnished room, very quiet though there is aircraft noise in the morning if you sleep with your windows open.
Breakfast is €15 to which was a bit too much.
It’s about 25 minutes from the airport by bus&SBahn. It’s about 20 minutes by taxi and costs €26
- Bl-Nirva (8/5): Quiet despite the airport - Stayed for 2 short periods. Absolutely surprised how quiet the trendy rooms are despite the airport close-by. Breakfast has a good average although only a minimum of variation.
The diverse staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel policy of this British Group seems to be changing as we learned during our last visit with regards to cleaning and fees for early arrival. I passed the hotel @noon and wanted to finalise the check in process instead of @15:00, because I would return very late in the evening. No problem but with a €15 fee without even using the room 🫣 What a tempting offer is it not !?
- Hayley970 (2/5): Ripping Off Tired Travellers with Outrageous €15 Charge for Early Check In Even Though Room is Ready - I have used this hotel several times on business visits to Munich - this is the last time. They will not be getting my money again. I arrived from the airport at 12.15pm after getting up at 4am and even though my room was ready, they would not let me check in early unless I paid €15! If the room is ready, why not let me check in? Every hotel I have ever been to has let me in the room early if it is ready. This is an outrageous charge to rip off tired travellers, and especially bad as I am injured and booked a disabled room, so they are also happy to let disabled people suffer and rip them off with this charge. Premier Inn should be ashamed of themselves.
