Guest Reviews
- B3529RMdavidb (2/5): No towels - rude staff - Just as I was stepping into the shower I realised there were no towels in the room. Had to get dressed again - long walk to reception. Overnight desk staff handed me towels with no apology and smirked in my face when I asked for one.
The lack of towels was a minor but annoying hassle. The attitude of the staff really got under my skin.
- 12345Anne12345 (10/5): Friendly staff and ace breakfast - This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here as it is very close to my son's home in Ruddington. We stayed last Christmas as it was so close and reasonably priced but we so enjoyed our stay we went there again and have booked this Christmas. Usual good beds as in all Premier Inns but the joy here is the quality of the breakfast and the friendliness of the staff
- rhrays (10/5): Good value - Perfect for my needs. Breakfast was good in the attached beefeater. Did not eat dinner. Room was clean albeit small but had everything I required. Good price and value for money. Would absolutely stay again without hesitation
- J8980WCrobm (2/5): Crap service & poor service - The beefeater next door has the rudest male and female member of staff I've ever encountered. Order side saled, which came as a pate' starter for somoene else. Threw myvside salad on my table. No manners. Only two staff serving, constantly moaning. Takes 20 mins to order food. Never again
- Boughtons1 (10/5): Christmas shopping weekend - We stayed in a standard double for two nights room was very clean and warm for November nights bed was comfy with a walk in shower staff was very welcoming and helpful. Location good with a tram outside every 10mins to the city centre of Nottingham. We stayed here for a christmas shopping and market weekend
- jonmJ7753CG (4/5): Unfortunately below standard - Unfortunately not a good room. Very tired with damage and rust. Unusually low standard for a premier inn. We will avoid in the future.
- Joasi23 (10/5): Excellent for our overnight stay. - Annual trip to Xmas market in Nottingham and first time we didn’t stay city centre . This will now be our first choice. Easy free parking , simply enter reg plate in hotel reception. Tram stop few steps from the hotel. £5.50 per person all day travel. Arrived in middle of all the hustle and bustle of the lace market about 15 mins hassle free. No driving round searching for parking spaces and then lugging cases to hotel. Would have liked early check in but no availability, the lady on reception found us somewhere to get changed and stored luggage, all while being super friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast, in an attractive beefeater on site, the usual PI standard .
- briankS5558TY (10/5): Premier Inn, premier quality, great location - My wife and I and our Guide Dog puppy stayed at the Premier Inn, Harpole, just off the M1, enroute to the Guide Dog training centre in Sheffield. We requested a room near the lift and were supplied with same. Our room was clean and extremely comfortable and there was a fantastic area around the hotel to run and allow our puppy to spend. We paid for and evening meal and breakfast at the Beefeater next door and were superbly dealt with by staff who were extremely attentive to both us and our Guide Dog puppy. Excellent food and a full and tasty breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
- Jim-peterborough (4/5): Faulty Towers ! - Went to my room which was really shabby with a loose toilet seat virtually hanging off so I went down and asked if this was the best they could do and I was allocated another room.
Really helpful staff but on getting into the shower in my new room the shower head didn't fit the hose and there was water going everywhere at which point the shower door virtually fell off on closure lol.
I would have laughed except I paid nearly 400 pounds for three nights.
"Premier"not sure about that really, surely you can do a bit better?
- Ajstrongman (8/5): 4/5 - Annoying electric radiator beeps when it comes on so had to turn it right down to avoid it waking my son during the night so chilly upon waking. Tried working out how to disable the beep but no such luck
- paulfQ9379DA (2/5): Unalive me now - A hastily dug shell scrape was better than this soulless dwelling. The staff were as miserable as Angela Rayner at a Unite vote of confidence meeting. The staff all had a cloud of doom hanging over them. A death row prisoner waiting for the guard to throw the switch on the electric chair would be more cheerful than this ensemble. The welcome was all but non existent, charisma bypass one and all. The staff looked like they had been press ganged into being there or serve on the Ukrainian front line.
No aircon in the room made sleep only possible through exhaustion. I now know how Alec Guinness felt in that sweat box in the movie 'Bridge Over the River Kwai'.
The hotel should be shut down until aircon units are fitted in the room window space.
Wi-Fi was very slow and kept disconnecting.
Food was served at the adjoining Beefeater restaurant. The building reeked of dampness and was almost as stiflingly hot as the hotel. No smell of food at all, probably due to the food being precooked and microwaved to give it heat.
The whole experience was unforgettable, unfortunately. We definitely won't be back. Find a homeless encampment if you can, at least the visiting NGO do gooder will give you a smile.
- darrenpZ3368ZN (10/5): The best I’ve had - Sally & Mandy where lovely at the front desk and helped me out with my internet problem and room change, would like to thank them both for my experience and there kind hearts and laughter, very thoughtful and great service from both ladies, take care girls.
- 718meganm (10/5): An all rounder - We stopped off here twice, on the way to and from our holiday to break up the journey and both times the service was excellent. The ladies at the front desk were so helpful and welcoming and made checking in very easy! They were also so kind to our little boy and really put him at ease. The rooms both times were spotless, the beds were comfortable and all the facillities were in good working order. On our first stay we had breakfast which was a very pleasant experience. There were plenty of continental and hot food options and everything tasted great!
- barb_mcgrath (6/5): Convenient to Northampton - Convenient to Northampton, Hotel and Beefeater in need of refurbishment and all looking a bit tired but value for money
- Paradise66892523174 (8/5): Good stay but bathroom needs urgent alterations! - Quiet and fairly small Nottingham South Premier Inn is a welcoming hotel with helpful staff. Free car parking and tasty freshly cooked breakfast are a real plus. The choice at breakfast was good.
The beds are comfy but with very hot duvets.
The bathroom is unsafe. There is only a poor overhead shower. There are no safety rails in the shower. The side of the bath has sharp rails where you step out...they're in the way. The bath is a strange shape and looks difficult to use.
A usable and safe shower is urgently needed.
Having written that...the hotel does have a pleasant environment and staff eager to please.
- Libbef (10/5): Great experience - A lovely warm welcome from Angelita at check in and at breakfast the next morning. Great room, comfy bed. Lovely, spotless breakfast room, top quality breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. Gluten free options fab too. All the staff encountered were very professional, efficient and friendly. Thanks for a great stay
- jkeys24 (2/5): Cleanliness was very very poor - Was very poor cleanliness I had found pubic hair on the toilet seat which should definitely not be there I had a 2 year old running around as it was a family outing so she could of touched it or anything if I hadn’t found it first….
Bed and mattress maybe they need a new mattress I woke up at 5am couldn’t get back to sleep as the mattress was far to hard for my liking other than that the hotel was just like a standerd hotel nothing special
- H9873CSjuliek (10/5): Lovely stay - I stayed here with my husband for 3 days before visiting my son in dubai, a lovely crew of people with very respectibal rooms, had breakfast here aswell and it was delicious. I was a bit confudled about the low groaning noise every night around 9.52, sounds slightly like a whale calf from david Attenboroughs blue planet we watched that night on my hubby's galaxy mini iPad.
- Steve009 (6/5): Tired rooms in need of attention. - Like many past reviews,I feel that this hotel is in dire need of renovation.
The room we stayed in was quite dated and the furniture, carpets and general state of it required attention.
The small portable television was positioned on the side of the standing wardrobe and very 90’s!
Not the standards I’m used to whilst staying in the many PremierInn’s I’ve visited and hope they invest in bringing this one up to the expectations that their loyal customers are used to.
The bed was comfortable.
The room definitely in need of a deep clean and some attention to detail.
All in all, passable but disappointing in comparison to all other rooms I’ve stayed it with PremierInn.
- JonathanP400 (10/5): Convenient modern hotel next to a Beefeater - This a large Premier Inn hotel close to the M1, off the A610 four miles north of Nottingham. It offers free parking as long as you register you number plate on the tablet in reception and is opposite the Phoenix Park tram stop which provides convenient green transport into the city centre, universities and attractions. Staff were friendly and our room was modern, clean and well maintained.
We were on a dinner bed and breakfast deal with the Miller's Barn Beefeater next door which offered great value for money, good service and great food and drink.
- JWB6503 (10/5): Albeit rather short but a very pleasant stay. - Easy check-in and out and a lovely room - warm and welcoming. Comfortable bed for a good night's sleep and, overall, a very pleasant stay, albeit short.
- MacRac123 (10/5): Tried and trusted good quality accommodation and restaurant next door. - The first thing to note, is a large car park, with plenty of parking spaces and a really good Beefeater restaurant next door. I have used it many times before for both evening meals and breakfasts. Excellent food, wonderful staff.
I always receive a warm and friendly welcome from one of the lovely Premier Inn receptionists. I recently met Nichola who was extremely efficient in helping me sort out a problem.
The bedroom didn't disappoint, large, clean and comfortable, a nice big luxurious bed and good quality towels in the bathroom.
- Jon (8/5): - Hotel was great but not much close by.
- 834garetha (4/5): Disappointing and inaccessible - This was a disappointing experience, particularly as we usually find the premier inn brand very consistent.
My husband is a wheelchair user so we booked an accessible wet room at this hotel. The room was at the back of the hotel, and the corridors couldn’t accommodate my husband’s wheelchair. He had to get up and walk down the corridor, causing him excruciating pain and holding up other guests, which added to my husband’s stress and embarrassment.
The room itself was fine, and the lady at check in, when she was alerted to the issue with the corridors was absolutely lovely, she went above and beyond to offer what she could, such as opening the fire exits for us. Unfortunately, the design of the building made using these impractical.
We ate at the attached beefeater for dinner and breakfast. For dinner, despite us making a booking for 6pm, this didn’t make its way to the restaurant. We were asked to leave and go round the outside and enter through the bar area. Again, this was an accessibility issue - trying to negotiate the wheelchair around the tight corners on ramps and take a long way round the outside is unreasonable in my opinion as we’d booked for 6pm on check in, and arrived at 6.03.
Breakfast the next morning was fine, except that the coffee machine was broken and only instant Nescafé sachets were offered. A noticeable downgrade from the normal offering.
I’d strongly advise against booking this hotel if you have any accessibility requirements, as the design of the building and location of the rooms made this hotel inaccessible. I do want to reiterate though that this review is not directed against the staff members we interacted with, who were all lovely and a credit to the hotel. The two stars I gave were more than earned by their helpful attitude and compassion for our situation.
- davidbenjaminnobbs (6/5): Very tired looking hotel. - Was not impressed with Premier Inn's Nottingham South hotel.
It was so expensive compared to Leeds earlier in the week, nearly double the price for an inferior hotel
When I asked the reception staff why it was so expensive I was told " if you wanted a cheap hotel, book a cheap hotel "
There was no air con and if you wanted the room cooler, you had to open the window and put up with racing traffic.
No restaurant ( other than breakfast ) but there was a grotty looking pub next door.
Lots of stained carpets in reception and stairs, plus the corridor outside my room had a lovely urine smell !!
Breakfast was really good though with chef cooking most things fresh which made a nice change and the waitress was friendly, polite and helpful.
Personally, I won't be returning but will see if city centre one is better, hope so.
- 880lenl (2/5): Parking Fine + No WiFi - Parking Fine: I have received a parking fine even thought the receptionist reminded me to enter my registration. Premier Inns refuse to help and now say they can't find my booking reference. I have the reference in my inbox but now have to appeal the parking charge with the parking company who are crooks. Hours and hours trying to sort this out over the phone. Stay somewhere else or be prepared to pay an extra £95 for the privilege of staying in this dump which doest have wifi no matter what they claim.
- KGMills (8/5): Very reasonable price for a comfortable sleep/stopover - Easy to locate, book, registering. Very comfortable beds, quiet. Grateful for ground floor room. Would recommend as a stopover
- vickig75 (10/5): Premier Plus - Booked a Premier Plus room to see what the difference was! Coffee machine was excellent, nice clean room. Bed was a little soft for us but slept well.
Reception staff were really helpful and had breakfast freshly cooked as it was quiet.
- Tangerine1974 (2/5): Do yourself a favour and don’t stay here - The poor staff in this hotel !! This hotel needs a serious overhaul . Not enough staff , cleanliness and general maintenance awful , bedroom was pretty bad with dust , mould and flaking paintwork . Restaurant terrible
- patrickcK6659XX (4/5): S%#t - So, after getting the ultimate wifi, I'm sat in the reception writing this review using my phone hot spot. I can't get a phone reception in my room, can't even log on to the 'ultimate wifi' in my room, or reception. There's absolutely no chance of the Internet working, the further away you are from reception, the less chance you have connecting. Premier Inn, it's 2025 not 1995. An Important part of being away on business is the ability to send and receive emails, I don't want to sit in that awful bar next door to do my office work. So here I am, sat in reception, trying to conduct business. Ridiculous!
- markwT7542DK (10/5): Hotel stay - We have stayed here many times over the past few years. The staff are always helpful and willing to go that extra mile to help me and my wife. If I could rate it with more stars I would recommend the hotel and staff always.
- antroyl2025 (8/5): Very good experience and we will certainly return. - Very Good Parking Facilities
Comfortable Room
Quiet Location
Friendly Staff
However Shower Pressure could have been better.
- Joe1949 (8/5): Excellent staff but needs refurbished - We stayed here again for two nights. All our interactions with staff members were excellent, but the hotel is now showing signs of age. The Wi-Fi was only spasmodically working, and there was no hot water on our first morning (although it was subsequently fixed).
Our room was clean, but furnishings seemed frayed, and there were no glasses for drinking water. We will stay again, but hope for some improvement to the fabric of the property.
- Joringer (6/5): OK stay but v hot - Hotel convenient for trip to Tugby. Staff at desk really friendly , problem
With card machine so had to give them
My number to process. Rooms are very small , smaller than a normal premier inn I would say. Clean on the surface but under the bed not so clean and communal areas also could be cleaner. Main issue was that the room was vv hot. Opened window but road noise made this impractical. Second day left window open all day so not so hot.
- alixfoster1 (10/5): Lovely one night stay - Lovely staff at check in and even got given some biscuits and choice of face or eye mask! Good size room which was clean and the bed was very comfy. Really good breakfast with lots of choice
- Vacation60017399362 (8/5): Not impressed - Bed uncomfortable
Noisy people in room above sounded like a herd of elephants had booked in,and people outside my window smoking
Not impressed this time
- KJS1331 (2/5): Horrendous, bathroom stank of urine and couldn't access the hotel for nearly half an hour. Avoid - Worst premier inn (possibly hotel in general!) I have ever been to. Checked in online and arrived at 11.15pm, sole traveller with my young son after a long journey, door was locked, fair enough. Ring the buzzer it said, I rang it, and rang it and rang it. Rang the landline, hammered and banged on the door. At one point genuinely considered setting off the fire alarm just to get someone to come let us in! Eventually my banging rang up a poor guest who let me into the hotel where I then proceeded to spend the next few minutes pressing the internal buzzer until finally someone arrived. "Have you been waiting long" she asked?? Well yes, I have... approximately 25 minutes, my son at this stage had gone back to the car in tears to lay down. Staff were very dismissive of the issue... telling me that the landline hadn't worked for ages, well that's not good is it?? I explained that I had pressed the buzzer continuously and repeatedly and clearly it didn't work. She refunded our breakfast charge at this stage and we left to go to our room (nearing midnight, with a 9 yr old). The whole hotel looked tired and grubby but it was too late for an alternative. I put my son to bed and went back to move my car, reception deserted again. Upon going back to the room and using the toilet, I noticed it stank of stale urine- like a public toilet at the beach kind of smell. Really strong. The Lino looked old and I imagine was the cause of the smell. My son was asleep so mentioned it as soon as we got up, the receptionist said she'd get it cleaned whilst we were at breakfast and we returned to a room that stank of bleach. Not to worry, within half an hour/45 minutes, the urine smell had returned. Room 31 needs more than a daily clean, that floor needs replacing, it was horrific and even my son (who regularly uses school toilets!) mentioned how bad it was.
There was no butter at breakfast and again, who lets this happen... so an order maybe wasn't delivered but wouldn't you send someone to a local shop to get a couple of blocks to portion up???
I've since read a few reviews of similar feedback and honestly, this hotel ruins the premier inn brand, myself and my son love premier inns and have stayed at about 6/7 in the last few months and have never experienced anything like this. The whole hotel needs to be shut down and sorted out, room 31 wasn't suitable for use.
At check out, I enquired about a partial/full refund and was informed it wasn't possible as "I had been let in eventually and the buzzer was working fine during the day". Surely the door wasn't locked during the day so how would they know this and when she actually tested it, must have pressed it about 15/20x before her pager beeped- with her standing right next to it. Anyhow, avoid it at all costs- go to Northampton City Centre which is gorgeous!
- F1595CCalisong (6/5): Dreadful mealtimes - Our main criticism of this hotel was the dreadful evening meal.Admittedly,we didn't book early enough so only an 8.30 slot was available.
We were aware only 1 chef was on duty. However, that doesn't explain why no starters were available. We can understand the lack of hot staters but prawn cocktails could have been prepared in advance;also,it doesn't need a chef to stir a pan of tomato soup!
Our main courses were appalling:the seabream was overcooked & dry;my partner's steak had been left for too long on the griddle so was charred on one side.Neither dish was worth the £17+charged.
Desserts were fine swiftly served by a cheerful young waitress.
- jessicaaR5838UW (10/5): Lovely staff! - I’m 8 months pregnant and was absolutely desperate for the toilet, ran in and spoke to Amy the manager who kindly allowed me to use the bathroom. Toilets were very clean, Amy even ensured I was on after using the facilities.
- MartiniMazzy (10/5): Great, comfortable hotel - Great hotel for overnight stay on a very long journey. We were welcomed at reception by a lovely, helpful lady who also reminded us to input car registration to avoid a fine.
Our room was spacious, clean and well equipped with the basics. The room and bathroom looked like they had been recently renovated and although the water pressure was a little low it was not a problem. The windows were open and a fan had been provided so the room was cool and not stuffy. The bed was comfortable and extra pillows provided.
Recommend this hotel for an overnight stay and it would be equally as comfortable for a few days. The tram stop is close by. There is a Beefeater next door but I would recommend The Nuthall across the road, I wish we had stayed there to eat as the Millars Barn (Beefeater) was awful.
- GemmaL2810 (2/5): Wouldn’t stay here again. - I don’t get a good night sleep! The room was smelly. A member of staff was told and came and sprayed the room and gave a little electric device that said would make it smell better. I don’t think it helped. I didn’t sleep well at all. The bathroom floor had a dip in it and was soft. Seems like it’s about to cave through because of water damage. The electric tripped twice and had to switch on via the box above the door. Just not a good experience compared to other stays I have had in premier inn hotels.
- Q3817YSemmak (10/5): Pleasant comfortable stay - Was a very pleasant stay. Very friendly, helpful staff. Very comfortable and clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was great.
- rachaelb256 (4/5): Too hot. Don’t book in summer 🥵 - Room was far too hot. Unable to sleep and had a baby with me. Guest relations won’t help you until after your stay. All the hotel staff were able to do was give an extra fan. Do not book to stay here in summer. The heat in the room was unbearable. We had to leave earlier than booked as we couldn’t stay any longer. I read a review that said there was a nice breeze through the window. Our window opened about 4cm and the room seemed to trap heat.
The hotel is in a good location. Literally opposite the tram stop so easy to get into Nottingham. The pub was nice and had a little play area. Bar/ restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. Room was what I would expect for Premier Inn.
I won’t be staying with Premier Inn again though as I found their customer service poor. Their policies were getting in the way of any common sense or compassion. Their good night’s sleep guarantee does not cover heat!
- Stringends (10/5): Friendly first rate hotel - I stayed here with other family memebers as we had a funeral to go to. The staff were all very pleasant and the rooms and service superb. plenty of onsite parking . Room was really comfortable and well fitted . I would have no hesitation staying here again.
- H194IYlukem (10/5): Flawless - Helpful Staff, easy communication and very friendly. They helped with our early check in Angelika particularly was very nice.
- harvestchapelinterng (6/5): It could have been better - The receptionist on our arrival went above and beyond to support us with our check-in. The other family room's bathroom was okay, but ours had someone's hair all over in the sink. The shower head was dirty with mould and some moulding in the shower area. I don't think the cleaners pay attention to details or the hotel was not ready for us. Which was a shame. The free WiFi was not accessible in certain areas in the hotel.
- Cruiser824707 (8/5): Nice stay - Not the best looking hotel but a good standard and the restaurant next door was really good for food. Staff very friendly and in restaurant very helpful
- 681aprylf (10/5): Would recommend - Fantastic hotel. Staff couldn’t help more no ask was to big! Very friendly housekeeping staff that were always happy to give us what we asked for.
- Destination437632 (2/5): Don’t bother - We paid for an early book in, they weren’t ready for us and had trouble working out which room to put us in. The room was dingy, no usb ports. The bottom sheet didn’t fit the bed! Then there was only a sheet on top! Found the duvet under bed next morning but it had no duvet cover. Bathroom was ok apart from toilet which hadn’t been cleaned properly and it looked like the last occupant had vomited in it. All in all a bad experience for enough money
- X9461HDpauls (6/5): Average - No usb charging, no air con , only one small fan provided for whole family room on a hot day and night, marks and damage to furniture, room its self looked nothing like pictures. On a plus side bed was nice and cumfy and we did get extra pillows.
Very over priced for what we didnt get.
Will not be staying here again.
- annlYork (2/5): Avoid, avoid, avoid - From the moment we pulled into the car park to leaving it was dreadful. The outside of the hotel has rubbish and cigarette ends everywhere. The reception staff were outside smoking when we arrived not a good look at all. Went to our room the corridors smelt really fusty and horrible and the corridor carpets were filthy didn’t look like they had been hovered for a while. The room was like a sauna with no air conditioning it had a fan in it that was neither use nor ornament, the pillows were rock hard and the bathroom was full of black mould. We visited family that evening and returned at 10.30 went to get a drink in the bar but their card machine wasn’t working so we went to the room to get cash when we returned they had shut the doors so no drink.
We booked early breakfast at 7 as we needed to get my grand daughter to a football tournament early but they didn’t open the doors until 7.15.
Breakfast was shocking. The place was filthy crumbs everywhere, the toasters were both filthy and didn’t work properly, there were hardly any clean cups, the bacon was rock hard and the beans were cold. The fresh fruit salad was awful very bitter and dry obviously not done freshly and the bananas were brown. There was one person on duty who looked very disheveled and stressed so I didn’t complain to him at the time.
I phoned the premier inn today to complain and was offered £38 compensation because I didn’t complain at the time. There were a lot of us that stayed there and they all felt the same too so I would avoid this place like the plague.
We stay in premier inns quite often but never have I seen a place like this it needs condemning 😡😡😡
- richardoY3105UM (4/5): Way to hot - "Decent value, but unbearable in summer"
This hotel offers good value overall, but the lack of air conditioning is a major issue. It was impossible to sleep — the room was far too hot and uncomfortable, even with a very noisy desk fan. I would not stay here again during the summer months.
- George Peter (8/5): - Excelente opcion para Nottingham. Cerca de la autopista y al terminus de la tranvia hacia el centro.
- gildod63 (10/5): Excellent staff and facilities - This is quite a small premier inn but is ideally located for visiting Nottingham. We were travelling with a trainee Guide Dog for the Blind and the hotel and staff were most accommodating to both us and the dog. Unlimited Breakfast was cooked to order and excellent value for money
- KelvinK488 (10/5): 5 day stay - Our room and service was great, will be hopefully going back again next year. Will be returning about April with more family members, will be looking forward to staying at the hotel again
- C4791GZtimb (8/5): Nice clean friendly hotel, adjacent to jnc' 25 catering for people on the road. - Nice clean 3 star hotel. Friendly kind efficient staff, light airy bar lounge dining room. Good cooked breakfast in the morning and still £12.00 if booked the night before.
- darrenashleyuk (8/5): An acceptable 2nd stay :-) - The hotel itself is acceptable. Nice location, loads of parking etc. The room is not awful, but also not the best. It was clean enough.
The bed is superrrrr comfortable! We slept much longer than we were supposed to!
The highlight of our experience was with breakfast. The breakfast manager (for want of a better term) was SO on the ball... making sure that everything was ticking over properly. Her attention to detail and diligence should see her in a Michelin Star restaurant! So thank you Desree for making the breakfast experience second to none! And also thank you to Amy on reception for being so helpful.
- Fred_In-the-way (10/5): Award winning Inn! - Visiting Nottingham for a wedding and needed a budget friendly hotel for the night. This Premier Inn has great reviews so we decided to give it a go. Check in was excellent due to Angelike! She was super friendly and very helpful! A real star!!!
The rooms are nice and roomy, clean and very comfortable! It's no wonder this Premier Inn is an award winner!!
- Ruxy1971 (10/5): Ideal for Trent Bridge Test - We stay at this Premier Inn regularly for the cricket and it is always excellent value, with good quality facilities and excellent staff.
The only downside for anyone really is the lack of a lift, but it is only one flight of stairs to negotiate.
It is on the bus route to Trent Bridge, so it is easy to get to the cricket.
- D3935GEwendyw (10/5): Great customer service - Fantastic breakfast service, D was an exceptional hostess, really attentive , hard working and very welcoming, food was of high quality and hot , Thank you D and chef for starting my days with a full belly ready to face the challenges of the day
- Paulrichj (10/5): Would highly recommend this hotel - I have stayed in this hotel with my mum on and off since Christmas last year. The staff are extremly helpful at the reception desk and at the breakfast bar for whatever help you may need. They are very good at accommodating to accessibility needs too - I always stay on the ground floor due to not being able to do a lot of walking and not being able to cope with stairs. Rooms are really good stanard and the beds are so comfortable. The breakfast hot and cold are extremly good value for money - ranging from a wide choice of cereals, fruits, breads and crumpets, juices, many choices of teas too as well as coffee and lovely hot food from to either choose at a buffet style or order when you arrive. I will be sure to stay here and highly recommend this hotel.
- iancZ1485TN (10/5): I stay there when forest are at home great location - Absolutely very comfortable bed and fluffy pillows. Especially after my 2 and a half hours drive. Stay there a lot of times for football and the location is great. Very helpful staff and great breakfast. Room was very clean so credit to the cleaners.
