- G7158RYjoes (10/5): Great food great staff really pleasant stay. - Stayed here two months ago and was not very pleased with my stay.just Stayed here for two days and what a transformation 👏 what lovely stuff and great food. Thank you so much.
- Sunshine03009247288 (4/5): Not as good as previous years we have stayed - This hotel has gone downhill since the closure of the beefeater. Our visit last year the beefeater had recently closed and seamed ok but this year seams like an extremly rushed experience for guests. Restaurant atmosphere has vanished because its so quiet and food menu limited. The food items are lots of spicy options and not many plain pub food. Some of the staff are unmotivated however others are trying to keep up the good standards. Mattress comfort are hit and miss (mine being perfect but my friends being so hard it was uncomfortable)
The rooms were clean and tidy apart from cups and spoons that were dirty. Noise levels in hotel was okay.
- N7241HGlizc (10/5): Premier Inn Dundee West - Our room was very comfortable and spotless.
We enjoyed drinks in the bar before our meal in the restaurant.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and will be back.
- michaelmE7058GG (8/5): Lovely bar staff - Area is nice and has a lot of options to eat and lidl is over the road if you want to do some grocery shopping.
Nice quiet location
Pretty chill atmosphere
Rooms were clean and tidy
Was expensive
Service from the bar staff was great in particular a lady called Cat was very welcoming and handled anY queries we had.
The amenities were fine
Overall i enjoyed my stay
- Jodie12345678 (10/5): Great stay - First time staying at this hotel, usually use another premier inn close by but we really enjoyed our stay. Lovely to have a warm welcome from Ellie and harleen who were from our regular hotel 😃 rooms were very clean and food was tasty
- ladyofcampfires (8/5): Good for a cheap and cheerful short stay - My husband and I stayed here for one night as a very last minute booking when visiting family and needing a room to stay nearby. We booked our room the day we checked in for a very reasonable £54. I did the online check-in via the Premier Inn app which turned out to be a waste of time as I then had to provide all the same information at the check-in desk once we'd arrived anyway.
We arrived quite last but check-in was straight forward. This Premier Inn is definitely one of the more run down ones however it's also one of the cheaper ones so its swings and roundabouts really.
The room itself was spacious and offered all the usual amenities of a Premier Inn room. The king size bed was comfortable, the room was clean and everything worked as it should. The bathroom was good water pressure and plenty of hot water. For one night, it was a perfectly comfortable stay.
There were some issues with the room, the water from the bathroom was incredibly cloudy and we ended up purchasing bottled water from the vending machine in reception which was obviously overpriced. The bathroom had some mould, paint was peeling in places and the carpet was frayed by the bathroom door too. As mentioned, this isn't the most up to date, recently renovated hotel. There were no plug sockets by the bedside either which is always a bug bear of mine.
It was easy to see why some of these issues were present after we'd have a shower in the morning. The ventilation in the bathroom is virtually non-existent. All the walls were quickly dripping water beads and the bathroom door was wet. Some of the walls in the room outside of the bathroom even managed to get damp from the moisture in the air after we'd had a shower. We were actually surprised the mould and peeling paint weren't worse after we'd seen the effects a shower had on the room.
I don't think I'd fancy more than one night here but for the price we paid we were happy enough with the room. It was mostly comfortable, cheap and cheerful. We arrived quite late at night and checked out at 8am the following morning so we didn't see much in the way of staff but those we did see were friendly enough. We grabbed breakfast from the McDonald's over the road so can't comment on the restaurant quality. Parking is free which is always a bonus.
- alany844 (10/5): Great Hotel, friendly staff and value for money. - We stayed for two nights at this hotel, and found it very comfortable and extremely good value for money! On check in we were dealt with Graeme who was incredibly professional and friendly, which makes a lovely change. We had a little problem with a very small aspect of cleanliness in our room, but it was sorted out very quickly and with sincere apologies. Highly recommended hotel!
- Wurzelm (8/5): Nice hotel - Stayed here for 3 nights and arrived to a friendly greeting. Quickly checked in.
Room as expected for a premier inn. Clean and tidy and in great condition. TV very temperamental and slow to respond to remote. Often choose a channel I didn’t select.
Breakfast served next door and was patchy to be honest. Unlike a number of PI’s we’ve stayed in before, here you have to order what hot food you want from the menu. Have as much as you like and saves waste I guess but can result in delays. One day, hash browns not cooked and another, sausages tepid and black pudding cold on one side. Would’ve complained and requested a replacement had we not been going out somewhere. Last day, it was excellent.
Staff very friendly in the pub however.
Ample parking and the car park for the pub is an extension of the hotel so never without a space.
Co-op and Dominos pizza opposite and despite being on the by-pass, surprisingly quiet.
Really good stay overall and would recommend as a base for getting around the area.
8/10
- JohnL9168HU (8/5): Poor check in experience! - Awful check in with the two ladies in charge slow and unhelpful although appreciate a group wanting seven separate rooms and separate payments didn’t help!A machine not working so when the manageress turned up she said how easy was to sort and criticised her staff for not sorting it out !Both female staff when we got to finally check in were unhelpful in the extreme with our booking! the next morning the receptionist was totally helpful and sorted everything out!
The lady on reception was awful and her manager as bad!
Rooms good but breakfast slow and cooked not buffet so took for ever!
- aerialy2020 (10/5): Top marks. - Hotel was clean and comfortable. Shower was amazing. The meal deal for a 2 coarse evening meal with drink and unlimited breakfast was fair and the food was spot on. All the staff were polite and friendly and a special thanks to kat for making me feel welcome. Would definitely recommend.
- Tina2go (8/5): Average Premier inn stay. - Chose a nights stay to explore Dundee as free breakfast was on offer and new premier plus rooms were available. Have stayed twice before in the past. Free parking though you have to register your car on checking in. Room as expected. Good size, comfortable bed. The only down side for me is that the plus rooms only have showers and this seems like a downgrade for me. Mirror , hairdryer set up , stool etc to get ready sort of feels like you are a mountain goat on a cliff edge.
Staff were all very pleasant and friendly.
Had a meal in the attached beefeater restaurant. This was fine and reasonable value if you use a buy one get one free coupon that are sent to me. Bit annoyed that my first choice of main meal was not available only to overhear the couple at the table beside us ordering the same meals within an hour later and they weren’t told not available etc!!
Breakfast was on a cooked to order basis and we had to select a time to eat which I’m not too happy about as you don’t know when you’re going to be ready to eat. Took ages for my order to be taken. My toast was made, cold and eaten before anyone came near to take our order for cooked food. Whilst not great for me it was okay and my partner said it was one of the best he’d had. Think they could do with one of the robotic carpet shampoo machines to clean the carpets in the restaurant during the night. Stains really not a good look.
- 1_John_1-8 (8/5): OK but could improve - The room was very cold when we arrived as the window was left open and the thermostat in the room didn't work. On reporting the fact that the thermostat wasn't working it was fixed virtually right away. The bed was very comfortable, there was virtually no noise from outside or other rooms.
A few points that stop this from being excellent.
1) The car park only had 4 blue badge spaces, they could do with more.
2) We had to ask for a extra hand towel and got it, apparently they only give one per room.
3) Despite the fact that the breakfast menu states marmite as a option there was none apparently they hasn't been any since covid. If so how long does it take to update their menu.
- trickydickyAyiaNapa (6/5): Disappointing - Not what we expect at PI. accessible room was good, blue badge parking was good, staff were welcoming and helpful but breakfast was the worst we've ever had at PI.
- susanu366 (10/5): 5/5 - Was met with by a handsome young called Jack at reception after a long drive, there was a busy reception when I arrived but he managed to get everyone checked in in no time, i wont say he made me write this but defo encouraged by giving me a card lol will be back if ever in Dundee again, well done Jack
- alisonj419 (10/5): Lovely stay, comfortable rooms - The hotel is a great size, not being a big hotel made it a quiet, relaxing experience.
We was greeted with warmth and friendly staff who were helpful.
My room must have been upgraded as it was very big and had a single bed in it which I didn’t need, but grateful.
Bed was comfy and I slept well, every where clean and well kept.
- graemeb815 (10/5): Helpful manager - I want to highlight how flexible and helpful the hotel manager was, going over and beyond to accommodate. The premier inn hotels are always fit for purpose however this really stood out! Thank you!
- Loopie567 (6/5): Not the usual standard - We booked a plus room. The extras were great. However the bathroom stank of urine and the fixtures were loose and sub standard. No attempts to put anything right, so glad we only booked 2 nights.
- David (4/5): - No evening meal staff great stupid on line check that does not work for tourists thank god for great staff. Business needs to invest in people and workakable IT system or better still let the staff do it for no cost
- Safari12120416186 (10/5): Great stay as always - I have stayed at this hotel for many years and my stay has always been delightful. The staff are lovely and rooms spotless. Shame about the restaurant next door but I understand it is not part of the premier inn and so it would be unfair to judge them on that.
- 45darrenh (6/5): Typical Premier Inn Experience - Typical Premier Inn experience, room was good for the night, Food at the Beefeater was very nice, however if booking the meal deal be aware that there are a number of additional charges that are not shown on the menu download when booking, including paying extra for a pint of Guinness..... there were the obvious extras like a small premium for a sirloin steak, as I would have expected in reality, but why not show these on the download menu, however it was only a couple of pounds.
Overall satisfied with my one night stop over for business.
- raylewing (10/5): Good place to stay - Comfortable very friendly staff throughout food limited but well cooked service with a smile froom Kat real credit to the company
- teresawL4780UW (2/5): Shocking - Very rude staff when you could even find one no desk staff at all.the room was unclean the bathroom was dirty no toilet roll the towels were stained. The food was awful half cooked cold and half the items promised it was shocking. The tv didn't work properly.the entire stay was horrible I had to resort to getting my breakfast from the co op across the road as the hotel food was inedible.
- Tour49619229455 (10/5): enjoyable family weekend - We stayed here last weekend the reception team were really nice and helpful the room was an idea size for a family of 4 we had a window of a view of the grass area at the back. the road is close by but we had our windows open at night and it didn’t disturb us. our electric tripped due to the lamp and the kettle going on together we told the reception team who were very quick at getting it sorted. the rooms were clean the beds were comfortable the only thing i’d say is around the taps in the bath could do with a clean but it didn’t affect our experience.
Thank you for a lovely stay we will be back.
- sarabH5367TU (2/5): No running water to shower - Do not book until you obtain information about the water supply.
The bathrooms have no water for shower and it trickles out for the bath and sink.
We had to change room when this was discovered when already trying to shower.
- southendbootboy (6/5): Avoid the water! - We've been to this Premier Inn a number of times and have always enjoyed it. However on this occasion there were a number of problems and issues.
There appears to be a bot of a problem with the water supply. Certainly the water pressure in the shower was variable, with the hot water dropping out completely on one occasion. In addition, the water tasted awful! I had a cup of tea in our room one morning and it had the most awful aftertaste.
The restaurant has some renovations going on so it was only open to residents. It was a bit woeful, with a rather sad atmosphere. Having said that the food is actually very good - chicken & ham pie and chicken makani curry were both excellent!
Overall, however, despite the bright and cheerful staff we felt that the whole place is slightly tired. I overheard two members of staff discussing the low occupancy rate, and I wonder if it's going to keep going for much longer. We've stayed there a number of times but we won't be going back, although to be honest this is due to a change in our circumstances rather than to anything wrong with the hotel.
- mikestand123 (2/5): Uncomfortable and unpleasant stay - Uncomfortable unpleasant stay.
We stayed here as a family which included young children.
There was a problem with the water system so the tap water looked closer to milk than water. We were told this was safe to drink but please see the picture and see for yourself.
The carpet was very stained and dirty to look at.
The door outside banged every time someone in the corridor walked through it so we were woken several times in evenings.
The room was not cleaned despite us telling the reception staff we wanted it freshening up.
We actually felt sorry for the staff as they mentioned due to cut backs they were doing serval jobs at once and could not cope.
Won’t be staying here again and for £160 for 2 nights I would avoid it.
- susantO6850SK (10/5): Friendly staff - Stayed over as had a wedding we were attending. Air conditioning was absolutely a added bonus due to the weather. Staff very friendly
- Liberty100 (10/5): Great experience at Premier Inn. - Excellent standard throughout, quiet rooms and friendly and helpful staff who could not do enough to make our stay pleasant.
- 976brian (10/5): Premier Plus - The Premier Inn plus rooms are a definite upgrade from the standard rooms. There were comfortable chairs, coffee machine, mini fridge, walk in shower, and beautiful lighting. We booked a meal deal and the food was excellent. The only downside was noisy kids at breakfast. Thank you to the reception staff particularly Keith.
- keithrZ1655WC (8/5): Good location and friendly service - Pros
- excellent location and easy to get into Broughty ferry town centre - a good location for touring the Angus area.
- comfortable rooms to usual Premier Inn layout
- friendly reception.
- room was reasonably quiet - did not hear traffic despite being on the road side of the hotel. Also see cons
Cons
- whilst road noise pretty well suppressed the whole hotel creaked - had a heavy footed guest above bumping around. Beer garden outside room windows and early morning noise from that.
- parking got very full with vans and spaces narrow.
- attached restaurant a bit average for breakfast - only coffee flasks and not a machine. Hot food was all acceptable though - we had food first evening and the wait was 40 minutes. Quality only average.
-
- Jakesterblack (10/5): Great - Great night's stay, hotel staff were lovely and friendly, room was spotlessly clean and jumped in taxi into Dundee for 80's festival. No complaints whatsoever would definitely stay again
- lyndacG2338KP (4/5): Bad service - Where to start!
Visited on a business trip. Reception wasnt warm or welcoming. Had difficulty with checking in. Person on reception was also person behind the bar and in the kitchen. An older lady constantly scolded her younger staff member for things she wasn't doing right. I was horrified when she mimicked a gun to her head for a wine bottle the younger member of staff picked incorrectly. It was bullying in it's nastiest form. I ordered a starter and a main and they both came together. My main dish was wrong and others in the group also had wrong orders.i could go on. Would never stay here again
- LorBrookes (8/5): Good value for money with friendly and efficient staff. - I use this Premier Inn whenever I visit my Birmingham family and have always found it to be good value for money with clean and comfortable rooms and friendly and efficient staff. My recent visit was fine except for a poor early check-in experience. I paid £15 for an early check-in from 11.00 a.m. but wasn’t allowed access to my room until 12.45 which meant that I wasn’t given much time to freshen up before meeting my family for a birthday lunch and I certainly didn’t need to have left home at 8.30 a.m. that morning.
- martindA7159BB (8/5): Business Stay - Over the last 3 weeks I have stayed in 3 different rooms.
All of them had something wrong, but not enough to ruin my stay.
Just typical Premier Inn stuff, but the staff have been great, nice, friendly and chatty. I only got 2 of the staff names Codie & Kat, but they all have been great.
- 186lornac (6/5): A bit disappointed - This was a bit disappointing for a premier inn as of late they have been a lot better. However in this one the TV was not working, as it was not a smart TV i thought i could plug in my cast to the USB port but that was not working either, no solution was offered, was just told that it was not working?
The breakfast was average, seemed understaffed for the amount of guests so was slow to fill up breads, juice etc.
- john112233123 (2/5): Premium Inn need to short there life out. - When I went to get an evening meal I was informed that I could not have one as hadn’t booked and they were short of staff. I was not informed of this when I checked in or I would have booked a table. I feel that this is absolutely disgusting that when you stay at a hotel you cannot get an evening meal. I had to drive up the road to get a meal.
- sharongK1052TQ (2/5): Smelly, untidy room. - We booked this hotel some weeks ago. Arrival wasn’t the most pleasant as the gentleman. on reception was less than welcoming. We were given keys and misdirected to our room. The smell that hit us as we entered the room was awful. A very pungent drain smell. It also looked as though the bed hadn’t been made. Nothing like the picture on the website. When we went back to reception to explain, we were told that if we were prepared to wait we might get another alternative room but the hotel was full. We asked for a refund but were told that we would have to phone customer services which was closed. We left to return home. A ruined weekend.
- andrewpN4681RU (10/5): Excellent Value - Just spent a week at this motel while visiting relatives. Clearly this is not a 5 star hotel , as reflected in the price, but my wife and I had a very comfortable stay and will defiantly use again. The bed was comfy and the shower was great. Breakfast was tasty and always freshly cooked. All the staff at the front desk or in the restaurant and the cleaners were friendly and efficient. When we wanted linen changed or the room cleaned it was done within minutes. It is also a convenient location to access Dundee and the surrounding area. If your expectations are realistic, you will be OK here.
- A3079NSlucasc (6/5): Short staffed however comfy clean rooms - Very poorly ran hotel.
First arrived there was a very strong smell of weed in the hallways travelling into the rooms. Granted, the lady did assure us it was from guests kicked out the night prior. She sprayed the halls and rooms and the smell was nearly gone afterwards.
The rooms were very well cleaned, spotless even. Very comfy beds and great air cons.
The major reason for such a poor review is the fact the shower pressure nob had broke: I went to reception, waited over 20 mins in total, rang the bell and even called reception, no answer. I had to go into the bar area just to get the attention of someone. The lady said she’d send someone up to sort it…40 mins later and now 20 mins to checkout, nothing.
Now as much as the shower DID work, the nob was loose and I didn’t want to provoke it and make it worse. As much as it wasn’t damaged, something wasn’t right and for that reason I went and reported it. I did speak to one of the cleaners, the lady came and inspected the shower and said it was fine but obviously needed tightening or fixing to some degree, but assured me it was okay for use and it wasn’t our doing.
Staff are fantastic here and definitely save it from being a lot worse than it could’ve been.
- 289stevenm (10/5): Premier Plus - We stayed here last week, and in a Standard room. For a little more, you could book a Premier Plus room, so this week, decided to see what it was all about.
Firstly though, a thank you to the lovely Elaine at check-in. Very polite and helpful.
So to the Premier Plus room. Is it worth the upgrade from the standard room? 100%
Bear in mind, anyone used to a standard Premier Inn room, knows full well, it's basically the same wherever you stay, other than maybe when you do or don't have a bath.
The tweaks in the Premier Plus room where the Ultimate Wi-Fi is included, you have a mini-fridge, a coffee machine with pods, chocolates, 'fancy' tea bags, a lovely walk-in shower with an upgrade to the regulation shower gel/shampoo, the decor is a world away from the standard Premier Inn, and while this particular hotel doesn't have air-conditioning in the standard rooms, there's a digitally controlled heating setup here, and by that I mean from 19deg, so you can cool the room down from what has been very hot and humid conditions lately.
The fan noise was barely noticeable through all settings, so perfect for through the night.
The room was absolutely spotless, so good job housekeeping.
We've included the all-in meal deal previously, but just went with the breakfast option this time.
Again, no complaints, especially when your cooked option is made fresh as opposed to buffet style.
The location of Dundee West is best described as just far enough away from the city centre, it could be anywhere.
There's a bypass nearby, but we certainly didn't feel noise levels disturbing at all.
For the price of the stay, it's a no-brainier, but definitely go for the Premier Plus setup if you can.
- Road46604803138 (10/5): A friendly hotel with exceptional service - A very friendly hotel with superb attention from the staff. Food was excellent and Codie’s service and attention was exceptional. Definitely to be recommended!
- HappyLady6 (10/5): One of the best Premier Inns I have stayed - The staff are what made our staff that bit better. All very friendly, helpful, welcoming and had a good sense of humour.
Breakfast and the Roast Beef Dinner were very good as well, I would go as far to say as the best I have had at a Premier Inn!
Location was great, carpark was big enough to park in and plenty of room in the restaurant.
As always a comfy night's sleep too!
- russellmQ7727XN (10/5): Wonderful staff and great rooms - Stayed at this hotel with my daughter during a recent visit to the city. Found the rooms to be very clean and comfortable. Staff were amazing!! Very friendly and helpful. Am back in the city again next summer and will definitely be coming back here
- S9575UTpaulo (6/5): Rude Receptionist - I stay in Premier Inn across the UK due to work and it can be 2 or 3 hotels per week and I rate service very highly generally in these hotels for the money.
But this one today I must have got someone on a bad day as from checking in the woman was rude, to 5 mins later looking for a drink with no one to be seen, the same. Lady sees me walking to the bar and rather than ask me would I like anything I was blanked & since its nice and sunny 27c out there service with a smile would have been great but I eventually asked for a drink, to be then told doesn't open till 6 well that's fine but no need to be rude about it not my fault your different to most of your other hotel that during this weather would be more than happy to service drinks tk make extra money but clearly not this one
- johnlG1180IC (6/5): Poor breakfast experience - Acceptable accomodation , but the quality of food and level of service served for breakfast was not good. For this reason I would probably not stay at this Premier Inn again.
- gregoryslot (8/5): Comfortable room - Lovely clean and comfortable room, quiet, bed super comfy.
Drinks very expensive in the bar.
Breakfast average, no maple syrup for pancakes
- Explore27645166114 (6/5): Nice place to stay ,some of the staff member have to learn a good manners . - Overall nice hotel, good size rooms, clean ,check in done in the minute:)Only restaurant disappointed me,Martin from restaurant/bar was very rude and arrogant,he treated everyone without respect .I have no idea what he is doing in the bar with that attitude and manner.Very disappointed .
- johnbU2894SP (8/5): Premier Stay - Nice hotel, room was really clean and at the standard expect from Premier Inn. Cooked to order and continental breakfast buffet with very good options. Can select items from cooked breakfast and poached eggs were perfect. Helpful staff, no iron in room and reception brought one up to room. Although near busy road not noisy and had a sound sleep
- A1817MXstevenp (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic place and amazing staff, Michelle was exceptionally polite, helpful and professional, I'll be revisiting for sure!
- derekmG4436FU (10/5): Fantastic service , great staff! - This is the second time we have stayed at Dundee West and again the room is perfect. The Premier plus is worth the extra monies. The reception staff are always friendly and welcoming and smiling 😃
The Beefeater restaurant is definitely worth a mention, we ate there on the Sunday and our waitress Nikki, was pleasant polite and very friendly and extremely attentive to her role. The food was excellent and my steak was cooked to perfection 👌. I was advised by Nikki that they had a young chef on called Joe , well his cooking ability was greater than his years. His interpretation of a medium rare steak was perfect..and I wish him well in his career.
Overall, an excellent hotel, with a great restaurant on the side! What else can you say but well done Premier inn and Beefeater Dundee West!
- hany_istok (10/5): Hospitality done well - I needed to stay an extra night in the area and so booked this hotel solely as it was the cheapest available at short notice, but it was brilliant - much better than the hotel I had stayed the previous evening for twice the price. It made my day!
The room was clean, simple, well-equipped and comfortable, but had the luxury of windows that opened onto the woodland behind the hotel - fresh air and birdsong.
The staff had an obvious pride in their work and clearly enjoyed it - dispensing hospitality to all, whatever their background.
The clientelle was a lovely mix. Families with kids preparing for a sports competition, older couples and the stray business traveller. I had previously stayed in a city center hotel where the clientelle was overwhelmingly well to do, white, middle aged, male, lonely and drunk. The mix at this hotel was refreshingly different.
- timfL9159CY (10/5): Ninewells - Bed is good, room clean, everything I would expect from using premier inn for 30 years while in business and short stay with family. Prices could do with tinkering if staying for longer period ( not fluctuating from day to day) as you would get more people staying due to close proximity of Ninewells hospital.
- J151HYmaryc (10/5): Great, great great - Highly recommend this Premier Inn. Spotless hotel, bathroom shower superb! super friendly, helpful staff especially Kenny on reception and Kelly in the Beefeater. Their hard work is very much appreciated! We had a lovely meal and an excellent breakfast at the Beefeater.
- virthanki (8/5): Better than Expected, Recently Re-Decorated - A recently re-decorated hotel, which feels clean and fits the Premier Inn name. The bathrooms are modern, although lack a handheld shower. Tea and coffees aplenty as well.
Breakfast was well done, with a mix of cereals, condiments and lovely bread. For lacto vegetarians, there were hash browns and baked beans as standard. However, the Beefeater was slightly dated.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of free parking available as well.
- E8134EUmartinh (10/5): very good hotel - We stayed 1 night in hotel. Booking via internet was very easy. Hotel is located in suburb and has large free parking. Reception is friendly and helpful. Room was clean and space was sufficient. Next to hotel restaurant for food and breakfast and that was all good. Was quite busy in evening. All in all a good stay
- lizsZ3384YE (2/5): Very disappointed at lack of cleanliness - I’ve found premier inn to be reliable in the past which is why I was staying there. However, when I got to the room, cups were dirty; bed hadn’t been changed and had blood and hairs on it.
I was moved to another room where the cups were dirty and the bathroom had hairs on the bath and sink area. Really disappointing.
- B3926ERelainep (10/5): Super Comfy Bed and Bath! - I highly recommend this hotel for shorter stays due to the lack of storage space for luggage.
However, we had a great time as there were many great points. The beds were super comfy, the pillows too and the bath was amazing. Lots of hot water
The windows open so if you like fresh air, you'll be happy and the views from the back of the building are good.
- tracygQ768NP (10/5): Great customer service - One of the best premier inns I’ve been to great location and Meghan who was on was amazing was always there to greet you unlike other premier inn s usually no one to be seen but was great to see a smiley face and nothing was too much of a bother either only negative was tv reception wasn’t that good overall fab!
- 656traciea (10/5): Dundee East Stay - The welcome of the staff at this hotel was fantastic, the hotel was clean and comfortable, car parking was very easy and the quality of the food and drink was great. This hotel is really easy to find and the people very friendly . The room was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. the hotel has a charity donation for a book which helps a local charity and is a great Idea.
- McPherson9 (10/5): Lovely Stay - Stayed here on Saturday night on a family trip up to Dundee for the weekend. You can’t really go wrong with a premier inn, this hotel was better than anticipated.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming, room was excellent and spotlessly clean. Room was all set up for is coming, as we have little one cot was set up(other times we need to remind them after we arrive). Hotel was extremely quiet and we all slept very well.
Hotel location was great, has a coop about a 20 second walk door to door which is ideal, plus there are loads of places to get takeaway food next to the coop as well so your spoilt for choice if you need something to eat. There is also the lovely pub next door to the hotel that you can use.
Would happily stay here again on another family trip up to Dundee.
- hayleye604 (10/5): Wonderful Customer Service & Lovely Room - Myself and my husband came to stay at the Dundee East Premier inn near Broughty Ferry on 17th November for a few nights. We had asked for a room suitable for a disabled person. We found the room to be rather nice, however we did have a few issues with the heating, the television and lack of towels. I went to the Reception desk, and the receptionist - Graham - could not have been more helpful. He was truly wonderful and extremely patient in explaining to myself and my husband, how to operate the television and the best way to set the heating for a comfortable stay. Nothing was too much trouble for him and his manner was always so friendly, polite and down to Earth. Premier Inn should be proud of having staff of this calibre. Well done and keep it up. Hayley.
