• Richardson1969 (2/5): I’d rather sleep in a Thai Jail - I cannot describe how far below standard Premier Inn standards this place is. I have a Business Booker account with Premier Inn and stay 1 or 2 nights every week, this place needs to be deleted from their portfolio and shut down, it is truly dreadful. Forgetting the obvious things that other reviews say about no parking, terrible food, no Aircon and poor standards of cleaning, for me (staying in December) no heating in the rooms (and I do mean plural because I had to change due to the noise coming from the floor above) is unforgivable. To walk into two separate rooms, both of them having their windows wide open so there resemble a fridge and to have no form of heating apart from a tiny in adequate oil heater is simply diabolical. On top of that to reiterate, terrible standards of cleaning and poor decoration. The televisions in both of the rooms, were set to a volume that I could not even detect what was being said is ridiculous but that is clearly only because all of the walls and floors are Way for thin because I could honestly hear the ants walking around in the room above me. There are several Premier Inn in Bournemouth, and all of the others range from good to excellent, this place rates 0 out of 10. Once again, I will be requesting a full refund from Premier Inn business accounts, as there is no way I will be playing paying for this stay.
• greamel2021 (2/5): Be careful what you look for - We had a very bad experience not been looked after by the Premier Inn as they advertise on TV causing us to come home early of the pain $400 for the weekend included the car park free outside that was a fortune
• dionnestrange (10/5): Miguel was the best! - We had the best experience at the Premier Inn Central Bournemouth. We booked 5 rooms as a family to celebrate my daughter’s graduation taking place at The Pavilion across the road. The hotel was perfectly located for this but also for everything Bournemouth has to offer; the pier, beaches, gardens, bars, restaurants and shopping. The price for the best rooms was great value for money and breakfast was great. The rooms were clean, well stocked and so well sound proofed. We had the best nights sleep. Beds, quilts and pillows were spotless and top quality. Two of our rooms were booked for 2 nights and Miguel on Reception made the whole experience simple and stress free. I can’t thank him enough.

• milesfb (2/5): Room 40 Is a cesspit! Mould Mildew and Damp! - I stayed at this hotel about a year ago and I'm convinced this time around they gave me the same room a last time, room number 40. The moment I stepped in the room on this occasion it reminded me of the previous occasion. It absolutely stank of mold, mildew and damp!. Also, the ventilation fan in the bathroom made a very high-pitched whirring sound which drove me scatty after being in the bathroom for more than 5 minutes or so. I went down and complained and the maintenance man came up and managed to switch the fan off for me. But complaining about the stench, the receptionist couldn't do anything and said the whole hotel was fully booked. The this I found hard to believe given it was mid-november. So I do not recommend you stay at this hotel at all. It's utter crap!

• Trail17366925636 (10/5): The premier, Premier Inn! - I've stayed in a tonne of Premier Inns over the UK due to the nature of my work, but in this instance I popped down to visit a couple of friends. Miguel takes the crown for the best service I've received in a PI to date. Accommodating, friendly, personal and funny. A real pleasure to stay and I will return. Huge thanks to Miguel and the team!
• joannafQ6526DB (2/5): Very disappointed - There is NO heating at all at this hotel, or so the man in front desk told us, we had none in our room and was given an oil heater that took hours to even start to warm the room, there is also no parking which does state on site however directions for car park to use are useless. Breakfast was a shambles, no fresh food and 1 coffee machine broken and 1 empty, tables not cleared or cleaned. Wallpaper hanging off walls in corridors. I have stayed in many premier inns over the years and this has to be worst yet. I have 5 more different locations booked over the next few months at premier inns but am now reconsidering my choice in hotels. This hotel was not modern, clean or comfortable.

After driving late to hotel was looking forwards to chilling out and having a good night's sleep, oh was I going to be disappointed. After settling down to sleep I was woken by a foul smell of BO sweat as I snuggled into the duvet. This ruined my whole night's sleep as could do nothing to change the situation as my family were sound asleep. Checked in morning to see what smell was and found a stinking sweaty mattress protector. I complained to reception and they said they could do nothing and I had to make a formal complaint on website. I did ask what policy was for changing mattress protector and was told this was changed every 28days. Receptionist would not say when my rooms cover was last changed other than she would speak with housekeeping. Honestly the stench was awful and smelt of stale BO. I have raised a complaint with Premier Inn.

• M9615NTannem (10/5): ! night stay for Theatre show - Have stayed at various Premier Inns but this one is the best. The location is perfect. The rooms are lovely , staff are very attentive ,go above and beyond. It was lovely to see Miguel the manager having met him previously at another hotel, one of the nicest men you could meet, genuinely interested in his customers, interacting with them and getting to know them rather than sitting in an office. I look forward to coming back in the future.

We had a lovely welcome from Miguel who went above and beyond to make our stay amazing, the room was stunning I didn’t even know premier inn did rooms this nice! The view from the window was gorgeous, it’s just a shame you can’t go onto the balcony! Overall I’d highly recommend and a huge thank you to Miguel for making our stay so amazing!

She was very polite, friendly & made us feel very welcome as did the other staff during our stay. It was a really good experience for us. The room was really clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was lovely too. I would recommend this place as somewhere to stay if in Boston or surrounding areas and highly recommend. Thank you to all the pleasant staff for doing such a great job

• Daydream19078281024 (10/5): Above Average Premier Inn - One of the better Premier Inns we have stayed at. Good location - opposite the Pavilion theatre and the gardens, and about 10 minutes' walk from the front. Our room (217) was comfortable even without aircon (our window opened for fresh air). We had an electric radiator to keep the room warm. Breakfast was pleasant - no crowds & no kids, with a good choice of fresh food in the buffet. Miguel looked after all his customers well. Our only concern was the dubious characters hanging around outside the hotel when we returned at 10 o'clock in the evening. There was no one manning the reception desk and any of these characters voukd gave walked into the hotel unchallenged. Otherwise, a good choice.

• amandayV2754YW (6/5): Clean hotel, but room issues and lifts off overnight made the stay below the usual Premier Inn standard. - We stayed overnight for my stepson’s graduation and, having always had great stays with Premier Inn, we expected the same. Sadly, this visit was disappointing. Our 7th-floor room was quite small and the heating/AC panel was broken. We were given a portable heater and fan instead, but this wasn’t mentioned at check-in. After a full day of celebrating, we returned at 11pm to find the lifts out of use from 10pm–8am. Having to walk up seven flights of stairs was exhausting and would be extremely difficult for anyone with mobility issues – something that should be made clear before booking, especially as the premium rooms are on the higher floors. The mattress was lumpy, we only had one very flat pillow each, the extractor fan didn’t work, there was no toilet brush, and the bathroom light switch being outside the room meant it lit up the whole room during the night. The hotel was clean and nicely presented, but overall the room and lift situation made this stay fall below the usual Premier Inn standards we’ve experienced in the past.

But the staff made sure we were OK and even waited till I got back so I could have a meal. 5 star service particularly the receptionist who was on duty well done team
• Dreamer29644428355 (10/5): Lovely Stay - We booked this as it was one of the few places that offered a family room while we were staying in Bournemouth overnight for a concert. Location is great with a public car park right opposite. A short walk to the town, gardens and seafront. The room we had right on the top floor was very clean, tidy and also very quiet (other than the weather which is nothing to do with the hotel). It was also nice to have a separate sleeping area for the kids. Miguel the manager was very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. Will stay again if in the area.
• 158neilb (2/5): Horrendous - Horrible experience. On check in the receptionist was short-tempered and made me feel like i was an inconvenience. She raced through the check-in process and when asked a question, her tone was very dismissive, which wasn't a good start. Then upon arrival at my room, i didn't notice at the time but it wasn't a 'Premier Inn' room, and it certainly wasnt what is shown the images. No Premier Inn branded bedding, or curtains. The room looked like a cheap guest house. The bedroom and bathroom are in need of a refurb as they looked very dated and worn. Dinner at the brewers Fayre was awful, it took forever waiting to be seated as they were understaffed and then when i was the table was dirty and sticky. The food didn't improve things, the chicken tenders were good but there was no salad or garnish so just a sea of beige. The fish and chips arrived and there was a smell of silage. I dont think it was from the meal it could have been the carpet, or the table next to me biut that didn't make for an enjoyable meal. The fish had been cooked before, then re-heated as the batter was all soggy and not crispy as if it had been freshly cooked. The chips had and the garden peas were all overcooked and mushy which was annoying as i opted for garden peas and not mushy peas. Terrible nights sleep as the mattress and pillows were really uncomfortable, then 5am im woken to banging and crashing followed by revving engines. i looked out my bedroom window and see two vans being loaded up with overnight bags and guys in hi-vis jackets chatting loudly to each other. So that was me awake.. cheers... Breakfast was good, and the staff were really friendly and attentive so at least that helped improve my day before the long drive home. On checkout the receptionist asked if everything had been ok with my stay and i told her it wasn't, as i'd had an awful nights sleep and got woken up at 5am by two vans revving their engines and banging and crashing out the front of the hotel and she replied " Oh there's nothing i can do about that" as she got up disappeared out the back.... So would i stay here again, maybe. If you refurb the hotel and Brewers Fayre and sack the management as they are seriously neglecting things here. This is the worst Premier Inn i have ever stayed in. With Premier Inn, you are led to believe that things are uniform, with premium bedding, premium bathrooms and a premium stay. I chose this site rather than cheaper independent hotels for just that and i feel really let down. The reception team are a joke, what i want to say to them is "If you don't like the job, leave... and go get one you enjoy as this clearly isn't the job for you and you're making it known to the customers"

Friendly helpful staff too. Parking near is expensive so go to central car park which is £6.20 for 24 hrs and a short walk away.

• Coldw4rning (4/5): If you have the choice of staying somewhere else, take it! - Coming down to Bournemouth for a concert at the BIC, so location-wise the Premier Inn was ideal. Parking is available close to the hotel, but expensive, so parked a bit further away for £6 per day. Check-in was ok and that’s probably the best thing I can say about the hotel. I upgraded the room to a sea view, which would give me “a great view, a super-comfy bed - everything you need for a great night’s sleep”! The picture next to that statement shows a big room and a super-comfy looking bed! Sadly, that’s not what we ended up with. The room was on the 4th floor, tiny and contained the world’s most uncomfortable bed, the end of which was about 12 inches away from the wall with the tv on it, making it tricky to get to the other side of the bed. Built into this wall was the “wardrobe” which was capable of storing 4 or items. Bathroom was ok, proportionally sized in line with the room. Having seen the other hotels near to the Premier Inn, next time I stop in Bournemouth, I’ll book one of them instead.
• Cooperac (10/5): Exceptional Staff - Recently had a very pleasant stay at the Premier Inn Central, Bournemouth. Miguel the manager was so helpful organising the ideal accommodation to suit myself and my elderly mother, who is partially sighted. Nothing is too much trouble for Miguel! I highly rate this hotel.
• spirop341 (10/5): Exceptional compassion and customer service - I want to give a huge thank you to the team at Premier Inn Bodmin, especially Megan and the reception staff. I had to cancel my stay at short notice due to a family emergency, and despite my booking being non-refundable, the team went above and beyond to show genuine care and understanding. Their compassion, empathy, and willingness to help during such a difficult time truly meant a lot to me and my family. It’s rare to find this level of humanity and kindness in customer service these days. I can’t thank them enough for their professionalism and thoughtfulness, it really made a difference. I’ll absolutely be staying with Premier Inn again in the future, knowing that there are people like this behind the desk. Thank you, Bodmin team, you’re a credit to the Premier Inn name. • THATFOODIEMAN (2/5): Not the Premier Inn I have come to expect - It is ironic that I should write this review at a time when "The Times" newspaper asks if we are falling out of love with Premier Inn. I have seen a gradual decline in standards over the last couple of years. First impression of this place which is out of town on a trading park was that it was a dismal sight which could do with a lick of paint. Inside was no better, it is very tired and only the receptionist made it welcoming. The walk down the corridor to my room did little to cheer me, again a lick of paint ...probably a day's job would make all the difference. The carpets were in dire need of an introduction to a carpet shampoo, again a day's job. My room was just as dismal and there was rubbish on the floor, the security lock did not turn and laminate was peeling off the desk which could have been quite dangerous if you snagged yourself. I had a small meal in the restaurant which had to be sent back because it was cold. I had booked this hotel based on an offer of a free breakfast but to add insult to injury the kitchen staff hadn't turned into work and there was no breakfast before my taxi arrived for the trip to the station. Now I am a pragmatic chap not usually given to complaining but I did point out these issues to Customer service and trusted that my missed breakfast would be attached to a future booking that I had. I received what I consider a most patronising response and a flat refusal to honour the obligation of their offer. In short they made a bad situation worse with the upshot being that I have booked a further 8 nights with another chain at a loss to Premier Inn of approximately £650 Yes, I for one have fallen out of love with Premier Inn.
• ToniW-B (8/5): One of the better Premier Inns - We like Premier Inns, we have stayed in several and some are great, some not so great. Boston is in the "Great" category! We always read reviews and were somewhat troubled by previous visitors opinions of the hotel. However, we found almost everything was spot on. The hotel is well situated, easy to find and the car park spacious if a little haphazard. The welcome was warm and friendly as were all the staff throughout our stay. The room a delight and spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. Yes, the carpet on the stairs could do with a clean, but everything else was in good order! The Beefeater for breakfast was busy, but the food delicious! Thank you Premier!
• dozyblondecow11 (2/5): No room at the inn!!!! - Booked a room on the day, as mum is in a hospice. Turned up.and spent half an hour trying to book in, the receptionist went off to try to find a room and we ended up with non. I had a child with me and bed for the night. The staff were unable to give me a refund and I was told a manager would call me the next day. We were left with nowhere to go, the phone call never came and at the hardest time in life I had to chase the money. Multiple calls to the hotel and a 40 minute call to the help line to get the money back. No sorry or compensation for the petrol used to get to the hotel. SHOCKING!

• 54celiaj (10/5): We will be back - The whole experience was easy to arrange, place was easy to find. Looks a bit run down from the outside, needs tarting up a bit. Inside was very clean, polite staff, very friendly. Warm welcome was much appreciated. The rooms we booked were perfect. No complaints from us. The beds are amazing. We slept like logs. Breakfast was very good. Enough choices to suit everyone. The food was nicely cooked and presented. We felt sorry for the lovely guy who was organising everything. He was working so hard. He could have done with at least 2 more staff. 1 to carry out and 1 to clear tables. There was also a lady who was carrying out. She was friendly and helpful. It was a lovely 2 night stay and we will be back
• lukec935 (10/5): Premier Inn Boston - Lovely hotel situated off the main Wainfleet road with public transport easily accessible nearby. Half an hour walk into Boston. Despite no air conditioning it felt quite cool with the fan and food was delicious from Beefeater next door
• N4024BFelizabethc (6/5): Was clean - Room was ok, but not the best, stayed in lots of premier inn’s, but this was the worst, it was clean, but very dated. Had breakfast, but they had air conditioning on at full blast, which was not needed. It was not that warm, out. Was warmer outside than the Brewers Fayre. It was convenient for one night has near to the hospital. The premier in definitely needs updating, and perhaps premier plus rooms. Lady on reception when arrived, was not that helpful, has we did not know how to use the vending machine, I don’t think she liked being disturbed. When we checked out, no one said did you have a good nights sleep. Not the friendliest we have been to.
• martinmT9222ZG (6/5): Hotel good, Table Table poor. - Hotel accommodation was as a good quality as expected from Premier Inn for the price point. The adjacent Table Table bar and restaurant is very tired in appearance, under staffed resulting in slower service but the staff did their best with so few of them working on the night. Limited drinks options available on real ale beer, and both the bar and restaurant closed at 9pm which was extremely disappointing when our arrival time was 7.40pm

• quan2cks (4/5): Will never return - Situated within a small retail area with a large ASDA, KFC, B&M and Farmfoods. On arrival, we were treated to the full Premier Inn welcome by a friendly receptionist. To be honest, I cannot recall any problems with this brand. Rm 28 is first floor, no lift facing out to the back, no Air-conditioning but you can partly open the window and a fan is provided. All in all, Premier Inn has the same rooms and standards all around the country. The main reason we chose it was for the convenience, free WiFi and the adjoining restaurant called the Callywith. The Callywith has an internal entrance off reception so you don't get wet. See my review of the Callywith, as we will NEVER RETURN here and revert to the Travelodge at Roche, just down the road with an adjoining pub, even if we need to pay for the WiFi

• Q2897CZlornab (8/5): The staff are a credit to the company - We had a comfortable stay at the Premier Inn Bodmin, with a delicious breakfast. I would mainly like to compliment the excellent staff who dealt with the issue of my husband leaving behind his suit in an extremely friendly and efficient manner. Particular thanks to Dianne, and also the receptionist (my apologies for not knowing your name) who took the trouble of taking the suit to the post office, on receipt of suitable, post-paid packaging. Both are a credit to the company.
• SaxonMan (6/5): Stiflingly hot room. - A standard Premier Inn hotel located next to an Asda supermarket. A bit tired looking from the outside. Very pleasant welcome and check in. But our stay overnight was disappointing. The outside air temperature when we stayed was around 16c and yet the room temperature was a stifling 25c all night long and with no way to reduce or control it. Even the public corridors were cooler. It was like trying to sleep in a sauna.
• WanderlustHols (8/5): In A Great Location For Exploring Bodmin - My husband, daughter & I stayed at this Premier Inn in Bodmin for 1 night back in January. We wanted to be near Jamaica Inn and this hotel was in a good location for that (10 minutes drive) As we had hoped, this particular Premier Inn was up to the usual great standards we've come to expect from this chain - great location (ASDA next door, KFC opposite, McDonald's a bit further down the main road), plenty of parking, friendly check-in, good sized & very clean family room + bathroom. The only downside (and the reason for the 4 green circles) was breakfast the next morning. As a family we all look forward to a Premier Inn breakfast and although the restaurant/breakfast area was lovely and cosy, the breakfast was not a buffet, so portion sizes were small and worse than that (for me) they had limited vegetarian options available, so I was unable to have my usual breakfast. Overall though, a great hotel which was perfect for our needs. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

• Mitchell2467 (2/5): Very run down and unclean. - First off as soon as we walked into our room it smelt of of damp and a musky smell. Closer inspection everything hadn’t been cleaned properly with thick dust on top of the wardrobe, skirting boards and tops of edges. There was paint peeling off the corners of the walls and in the bathroom wall. The door frame to the bathroom was filthy. Loose bath tap with rust around it. The sink tap didn’t run cold water and was hot all the time. There was signs of damp on the wall above the window. Bed sheet didn’t even fit the main bed. Then the head board had 2 grease marks where people’s heads have been. I reported this to reception and all I got was I shall put that on my list for maintenance. The evening meal was fine but breakfast was a total disaster. There was hardly any food out for continental, no plates and the bowels that were out were all dirty. When I asked for some plates they came out and the first 1 I picked up had butter all under it which went all over my hands. When we were asked if we wanted a cooked breakfast I declined as I could see it being a long wait as hardly any staff. This was confirmed as the people next to us waited over an hour for a cooked breakfast. The tables weren’t cleaned and the chairs were disgusting with stains and grubby marks over them.
• samkN9172IO (10/5): Great Stay - A great stay with such lovely staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are slightly dated but are spotlessly clean .
• clairepQ2932XW (10/5): Excellent hotel - Lovely hotel room for a quick family getaway. Food was excellent, room was nice and clean and the staff were really friendly. Would highly recommend!
