Guest Reviews
- Lateisha (10/5): - Clean and pleasant stay. Only there overnight, but it was a last minute booking, and the staff was very pleasant. No fridges in the rooms, but otherwise spacious and very comfortable. Definitely recommend.
- 571ashleyg (10/5): 6 week stay - Good location to work base , friendly staff who have been exceptional, getting to know them for last 6 weeks service cleanliness & food have been great.
- lordpatrickd (10/5): Excellent as always!!! - I stayed at Premier Inn Falkirk East weekend 15th-16th November 2025. Easy to find location, only five minutes drive from The Kelpies and close to the M9 motorway. As always checking in was easy and friendly with the gentleman receptionist. Room was as always spacious, everything in good working order and a comfortable bed. Had breakfast in the restaurant next door to the hotel and was given a warm Scottish welcome by Trisha. Opted for the full breakfast option and plenty of choice in everything. As always Premier Inn was spot on and unbeatable in value for money.
- G9195LNjulied (10/5): Excellent - This is the first time I have stayed here. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here albeit having to change rooms. But the room was large, clean and well equipped. Id like to give a big shout out to Claire on reception. She made every aspect of my booking easy, she made me feel very welcome, made sure I had everything I needed as I have poor health. But nothing was too much for her and she certainly went above and beyond. She is a real credit to Premier.
- MomDawn (10/5): Friendly and reliably comfortable - We had a very nice welcome from Nyree who expedited our check in as we had tickets to see a show at the theatre!
The next morning we had to speak to (Claire ?) as the drain in the bathrooms wet room was not functioning properly; plus we had not been informed about the work going on at the hotel and that it would start at 9am on Monday. Luckily we were given the option to move rooms and this made our stay perfect!
Breakfast was good with the food being replenished quickly. We also had a late-ish evening snack/meal and this was also good- and served with a smile.
This Premier Inn offers comfort, service and a friendly atmosphere. Well done!
- A6440SBsianh (10/5): First visit to a Premier Inn and it won’t be our last. - This was our visit to a Premier Inn and I was not disappointed,
The staff were friendly and food good.
I will definitely be back. Such good value.
Room was quiet and the room was clean.
Location excellent looking over the sea.
- johnrout13 (2/5): Meal experiance - We met my sister and brother in law at the restaurant for a meal, as they had travelled down from London for a 3 night stay. The last table avaliable was at 7.15pm, allthough there was tables avaliable after this time. When we approached the host desk we were met by a member of the team who said that the only tables were a small round table in the middle of the restaurant, but if we wanteda table to the side they would push 2 tables of 2 together, at this point the member who greeted us competly ignored us so after some delay so we pushed the tables together ourselves , not a good start. After a wait of approx., 10 minutes we had to ask for the menus, no ref., for allergies, and yet another long wait for our order to be taken. The staff were copletly dis interested in customer service. We had to ask for our drink order to be taken. Food standards were of a reasonable standard. I heard a lady waitress apologize to another customer for ghe long wait and she said, sorry i was hiding out the back. We asked for the dessert menu and was informed that the kitchen may be closed ,allthough dessert order was relunctly taken. In general the approach from the staff was well below the positive standards i would expect they had no passion for the tasks they were expectedto do. Bars tables were not being cleaned and left very sticky. Constructive critisism is a learning curve that we all learn from especilly for a large corperate company. Date of visit 10th November.2025.
- 591sianl (8/5): Met my accessibility needs and had a great stay - Accessibility was incredible and often much better than higher rated hotels etc I've stayed in before. Only complaint on that side was lack of mini fridge or option to ask for one for medications or drinkable water outside of restaurant opening times.
The staff were lovely although it did often take a while to get a response at front desk after pressing the bell.
WiFi a little slow and although we bought the ultimate as my husband had to work one night it wasn't the greatest and a bit pricey at £5 for 24hrs.
For a cheap and cheerful weekend, definitely worth it.
- geoffwM2581IN (10/5): Great - ALL BRILLIANT 10/10 very happy indeed every thing was brilliant we were very happy and will be back again soon...the chef was brilliant..spot on....
- AliS6846 (10/5): Kinia, excellent service - As soon as I walked in to pre.ier inn, I felt so welcome and comfortable
Kinia is an asset to your establishment. I have a problem with my meal booking and she personally went into the restaurant and sorted all out. Really loved my stay and was extra special with a very helpful, friendly and supportive Kinia
- 481clivej (8/5): Clive at The Premier Inn, Exmouth - This was a nostalga trip having moved from the area a year ago. Exmouth did not disappoint inspite of the terrible weather . Congratulations to who ever was responsible for the wonderful string of coloured lights along the sea front - hundreds bobbing in the high winds and dark sky. The Premier Inn is right on the sea front but you only get a sea view room if you go for the more expensive Premier Plus option. Our room overlooked the back car park which was not a problem for us. Due to my current medical difficulties we opted for a room which catered for special needs. It was excellent - large, comfortable with every conceivable extra to help. I particularly liked the big, strong holding rails which were in the bathroom and the well designed bath with a shallow slide-in design and a shelf and rails to aid getting in and out. Top quality hand and shampoo gel dispensers, large towels and bars at the toilet side. I only mention this as so many hotels skimp on everything these days and you practically have to take you own toilet paper. The hotel has lifts and the large car park has a charge of £8 each day and you come and go as many times as you wish during each £8 session. All the staff we met were cheerful and helpful and I especially single out Lisa at the dining room who helped my wife bring me a meal one evening when I was too poorly to go down to dinner. The catering was generally of a high standard - brilliant breakfasts with numerous continental and UK food options. I just love the help yourself hotel full fry and these were superb. Most days the dining room was virtually empty and the table food service was very good - it was not so one evening when almost every table was taken and clearly the reduced staff were under pressure -that evening included the worst chicken curry I have ever eaten, which arrived over an hour after I ordered it, was the only black mark of our visit. Generally, well done Premier.
- JadeL28 (6/5): Overall good stay - Room was lovely, beds are very comfortable. The first night had a really good nights sleep and was lovely to wake up walk over the road and spend time on the beach. Love the location of the hotel. Had breakfast in the hotel on both days, can’t fault it really the breakfast was nice and there was lots of choice. Kids loved the options they had for breakfast. Found car parking quite difficult as the car park was full so had to keep driving around waiting for someone to leave some spaces we blocked off due to work being done but that’s not always an issue and we was made aware of the work being done prior to staying. Second night if my stay had the worst sleep constant banging coming from the room above which was going on until past midnight so couldn’t sleep and neither could my eldest daughter, very frustrating as we had a long journey back the next day and with the lack of sleep I was absolutely dreading it. Overall I enjoyed my stay but just wish I didn’t have the bad experience on the second night.
- angdaymond (10/5): The best location in Exmouth - The perfect location for Exmouth. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Rooms were spotless quiet and comfortable. With very decent breakfasts served all morning, we had a lovely leisurely few days.
- helenrH9340EM (8/5): Great stay except for one staff member - We really love this hotel it has a great location and as with any Premier Inn you know what to expect. Just one event spoiled the stay. On the Tuesday of our stay we attempted a lunch time snooze only to be woken by a loud thudding which made the whole room vibrate. This went on for a good 20minutes. We were expecting scaffolding to be erected and the noise from that to be present as we were forwarned but not this level of noise which made the tea mugs vibrate. When we went outside we discovered a large hole in the wall just outside our room. This on its own would have been a minor irritation but when we reported it to the receptionist Lisa she was totally disinterested and basically ignored us and started serving the people behind us who had only just walked in. I have never had such rude behavior at a premier Inn before. The young woman who checked us in was polite and charming so thankfully the poor customer service is not endemic.
- Sherpa56893327795 (10/5): Great location - Beautiful location 2 minute walk to the beach, staff great especially the lovely receptionist when booking my birthday next July. Breakfast fast hot great choice and good value. Room great sea view. Thank you
- jimgF8477AB (10/5): Happy guest - The Hotel was easy to find right on the sea front, spacious clean rooms parking and good evening meals and breakfast.
Jessica, a new member of staff deserves a mention as she was friendly , helpful, and a great ambassador for Premier Inn.
- U6324XCmarkg (10/5): Absolutely fantastic clean tidy - On arrival was welcomed by a fantastic receptionist called Kinia what a delight of a receptionist very warm and welcoming explained everything about the local facilities. I couldn’t ask for a better receptionist would definitely recommend coming to this hotel.
- Katylouise06 (10/5): Very pleasant experience - Had a very pleasant stay here , great location .
Kinia and Jack on the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming , always greeted with a smile . Would definitely recommend:)
- Sightseer52171402129 (2/5): Absolute dump, we will most likely never book any Premier Inn again. - This place was a dump, complete with musty bedrooms. We booked and paid for 3 nights, but it was such a depressing place, we came home after 2 nights and forfeited our payment.
- fiona883 (10/5): Great stay in this Premier Inn! - An excellent stay. The hotel was well located, the staff were helpful, friendly and professional. The room was large, quiet, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our two night stay. Would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in or near Farnborough.
- Palmal1 (6/5): Nice location, some staff need training - Last time we stayed here we gave it a 5 star review, we've given it a 3 star this time and that's mainly due to a particular staff member.
Upon arrival we were given our room early which was a blessing after travelling with my husband who really needed to rest, as he's on stroke recovery, the receptionist was lovely.
The room was lovely, it was clean, the only gripe was the coffee machine still had water and old coffee pods in so that obviously hadn't been cleaned. We had water in the fridge and tea bags and milk which was perfect, we got a beautiful sea view, it's hard to beat the views from this premier inn. We also had a bath which again was ideal for my husband.
Having said all the positives I was so annoyed with one of the staff, 1st of all I had to pop to reception to book the evening meal I waited while she chatted about money to the younger staff members she was aware I was there which is just bad customer service. It didn't bother me that much and I'd have forgotten about it had she not been the same later. We went down for the evening meal, we waited to be seated, she knew we were there it wasn't busy in the restaurant, we waited 10 minutes and then a younger girl came to us, she was just asking if we had allergies and before I could speak the other lady came over interrupting the conversation without looking at me and started telling the girl which jobs she wanted doing, she wanted such and such serving on the bar and someone else serving food. She was extremely rude, the staff member who was talking to me was very embarrassed. I've worked in customer service and I would never ever interrupt someone talking to a customer let alone think giving out jobs takes priority over a customer.
Lisa T really needs to go on a retraining course in customer service.
Next morning with different staff on at breakfast the whole atmosphere was different, breakfast was lovely.
- Excursion55403406142 (6/5): Below premier standards - Some of the older staff could lean from the new/younger members of staff
Use this hotel chain 3/4 times per year
Will not use exmouth again
Send in a mystery shopper
Morning meal poor
Try Paignton or torquay
- Starlord82 (8/5): Welcoming smile after a long journey - Very welcoming lady on reception greeted with a smile and happy to have a laugh with you after a long journey.
Rooms are clean and tidy as expected from premier inn. Mattress is always great. Good food next door in the beefeater
- KarlSR70 (4/5): Smelt of damp - Damp smell in the room which cost £115. The smell is throughout the building. We don't eat at Premier inn anymore as the costs are so high, but it you wanted to you had to book as this is another one of their locations which seems to operate on some alternative basis. I imagine breakfast isn't a buffet either as they often falsely advertise. Another awful experience at premier inn.
- stuartlC5026TL (10/5): Falkirk Break - Excellent stay, staff & food
The area is lovely with plenty to do .
The Kelpies , the Falkirk Wheel
Thoughly enjoyed the break
- 192janety (8/5): Pleasant stay - Really good location, all staff pleasant and helpful but clearly there is a staffing shortage . The room was clean, a good size with a beautiful sea view.
Breakfast was good but let down by being served on cold plates. Saturday night, music from the pub next door was quite loud. All in all a good stay. Thank you to all the staff
- hampshire27 (8/5): Good hotel - would return here - I enjoyed my holiday and was pleased with the car parking even though separate payment was required of £8 per day. The room was good and quiet. Location was excellent. It was easy to find on the seafront. Short walk into the main town with many good cafes and shops. It took me a while to work out how the air conditioning works as it is not described well in the sheet in the rooms. My experience was there was some justification in the message in a number of recent reviews about the lack of customer focus at Reception.
- K9983OLemilyb (4/5): Won't be staying again! - We have stayed at this Premier Inn approximately 6 times over the years, and I can honestly say, it has gone down hill fast.
The bedroom area wasn't too bad but the bathroom was very under parr.
There was paint peeling off and just generally shabby.
There was no WiFi, unless you wanted to pay for it and the Cadgers Brae was the worst I've seen it.
The Cadgers Brae is now only open to people staying at the Premier Inn. It was dirty and had cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. I ordered a Whitley Neill raspberry gin, which the lady behind the bar couldn't find so she asked the manager if it had been moved, his reply, with me standing there was, " just give her that one", pointing to the JJ pink gin.
Needless to say, we will not be staying there again.
- 704wilmap (2/5): Pathetic service, change the name of the hotel when you can’t give premier service - I don't know why this hotel is even named Premier when you don't get premier services.
I arrived just 30 minutes before check in time, when I entered the reception was dead empty and had to buzz the button 100 times for someone to come and attend you. After buzzing so many times the receptionist walks out of the lift “are you okay?” I said check in and he said check in is at 3 without even checking my reservation on the system, I then requested him if I check in early if the room is ready since I had 2 kids and had to change my little ones nappy, and he said he can only check after 5 mins not sure why, I personally have worked on reception for over 13 years and still working in front office. This is not the answer I would give to any if the guest.
Room is good, but the cleanliness of the room is not up to mark, found some food stuff under the bed and some duvet covers under the bed, when you have toddlers they end up playing anywhere and those covers were so dusty, not a good idea to leave them under the bed, I would suggest to keep them in HK store.
The room does not have telephone, so if you want to ask or confirm anything with reception or even order room service you have to go all the way downstairs to reception and after reaching at reception you have to buzz 1000 time for someone to come and attend you, can you imagine there is no dental kit in the hotel, the receptionist told us to buy from the sainsbury's opposite to the hotel, what an answer.
The is no on-site parking, so have to park in town. I have stayed in several hotels earlier and I have never experienced such service, will not recommend to anyone and will not come back to premier inn again.
Their room rate is always on £40s £50s or £60s but the day I booked it was £105 room only rate, I still went ahead and booked but the service that I got was not even worth of £50.
I hope the GM takes my review into consideration and look into this matter and at one point I hope you improve your service for your future guests.
- Marion (8/5): - Wonderful bed. Great sleep. All staff friendly. Great breakfast.
- Extraordinary607477 (10/5): Almost 100% - All good. Lovely place. Could just have done with some shelving to unpack some clothing. There is only hanging space!! Lovely views from our room. Beds comfortable. Bathroom clean with plenty towels.
- Scenic_Wendy (8/5): Hotel contact system needs much improvement - We booked this hotel Sunday to Tuesday. We had a lovely sea view room although some of the furniture looked a bit tired. The bathroom fan weirdly only activated when the toilet was flushed! 🤪 The breakfast was excellent with cooked to order poached eggs. The location could not be improved - right opposite the beach.
The only complaint is the dreadful contact number system. We broke down about an hour from the hotel and we waited in a lay by for our recovery truck. During this time I phoned the numbers supplied by Premier Inn to contact our hotel. Each time a female voice took us on a long journey terminating in her inability to contact our hotel reception. We really wanted to inform them that we would be very late. Eventually I emailed the guest relations but no reply came from this either. We eventually arrived at the Exmouth Premier Inn at 23.50.
- jeremybeech (10/5): Good us usual - Two nights here and it’s the usual welcome from Premier Inn. Pleasant staff, clean comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. Perched across the road from the beach and seafront. Exmouth is a very pleasant area to boot.
- Littlejo29 (4/5): Hot and noisy room led to poor sleep quality - Our room was very hot and there was no way of cooling it other than opening the window which wasn't really an option near a busy road. It was hard to get to sleep and stay asleep as the grille that was either part of the air conditioning (which didn't work) or heating system had a constant whirring noise coming from it.
- grahamcV4468TN (4/5): Dissapointing stay at Exmouth premier Inn. - Tried to contact the hotel reception at least a month before attending my stay no one answers the phone. Decided to contact the central booking team to request a top floor room due to me being an extremely light sleeper. They took my request but on arrival I was given a downstairs room with two floors above and apparently no rooms that I could be moved to, I had an elephant on a pogo stick above me resulting in limited sleep for the duration of my stay. On arrival outside looks tatty and run down at reception had to wait as no staff on reception. I could then see why no one answers the telephone, due to lack of staff. The staff were surprisingly pleasant even though I saw them run ragged and understaffed for the duration of my stay. Evening meals can be small and overpriced with limited healthy options on the menu. I do not believe it’s worth the amount of money that Premier Inn are now charging.
- Safari781778 (10/5): Can't fault it. - Family (2 grandparents, mum and tot) stayed for 1 night stopover in 2 rooms. Spacious rooms. Clean with comfy beds. Plenty of room for our travel cot. Quiet hotel, perfect for a good night's rest.
- Ultra_694 (6/5): Overnight stay mid September - Dated building, much in need of refurbishing inside and out, has seen better days. This said, the facilities were very clean and the bed was very comfortable, no problem there. The restaurant opposite the hotel was also the same, worn chairs and decor, needs refurbishing urgently. Cannot fault the staff, very friendly and the food was hot and tasty. Would rate higher if decor and equipment updated.
- alextN4011DI (6/5): The low cost is hardly a bargain, you get what you pay for - The crumbling facade of the hotel looks awful. There are signs up saying they're working on it but judging by the reviews, it's been like that for some time. When I arrived there was no one on reception and the self-service machine was broken. The staff were nice without being exceptionally friendly. My room had a sea view but was very no thrills. Breakfast was fine and had everything you would expect, but there wasn't loads of choice. I asked for my room to be cleaned halfway through my stay but it wasn't, meaning the tiny little bin they provide was overflowing with rubbish. I think of Premier Inns as the "Wetherspoons" of hotels: cheap and you know exactly what you're getting. This is one of the worst Premier Inns I've stayed in though, so make of that what you will. The low cost can hardly be considered a bargain when you get exactly what you pay for. Still though, if you looking for low cost, low thrills and a nice view of the beach, this place will be just about "adequate" for your needs.
- 70jagadishs (8/5): Easy to reach, close to attractions - Easy to locate, close to highway and the Kelpies. Not too far from Edinburgh or Stirling. Free parking. Clean rooms, comfy beds. Didn’t try breakfast so not sure
- Virginie (10/5): - The bedding is very comfortable, the breakfast is varied. I recommend it.
- Michelle81Sanders (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE. Not covered by good night guarantee and temperature overnight was 29.5 degrees. - Terrible night stay. When we arrive the window was open and fan on. They were aware the room was hot. Had to ask for an extra fan as the room was so hot. It didn’t help. It had been 19 degrees during the day and was 15 degrees overnight. The room temperature was 29.5 degrees at 3.30am. No one got any sleep. I thought we would be covered under the Good Night Guarantee. But apparently not as it states that there is no air conditioning when booking. But honestly it’s Scotland. Who would think you needed it! Utterly appalled by this. The reception were made aware of this problem at 11pm. The room is not fit for purpose if no one can sleep. DO NOT STAY HERE.
- anthonybN5461VY (2/5): Poor restaurant - Don't expect to be able to eat at the restaurant attached to this Premier Inn unless you have booked. One and a half hour wait to be able to eat as a "walk in" (guest at the hotel). And there doesn't seem to be anywhere else to eat nearby.
- 546nighto (2/5): No where near premier service - My wife forgot to pick up the special pillow she brought with her. when we left. Later in the day we noticed and called the hotel and thay said they had found it. Later I drove nearly 50 miles to pick it up and the receptionist siad they couldnt find it. The manager called days later and said one of the staff may have moved it. So I had to buy my wife a new pillow (£35) and wasted (£40) of petrol. I was told the by the manager that head office would sort it. They didnt, and referred me back to the hotel. I paid £90 for the room. I will not be staying in a Premier hotel again, They certainly are not premier
- X4823NGmichaelg (4/5): dusty room but warm welcome from staff - dusty room but warm welcome from staff
needs a good clean and carpet clean
probs stay are from the beef eater with rude staff and grey food
- 112eddiew (2/5): Mouldy Pillows. - Avoid this Hotel at ALL costs. Checking in took ages because the receptionist wasn’t about. Mouldy pillows 🤢 Shocking!
- L8993LOemmac (10/5): Excellent - Excellent service helpful staff and lovely place to be with family and food was amazing to and u cant hear nothin outside
- rezde1 (4/5): Only go if you have to. - A stay out of necessity. Every year we compete in the Scottish athletics championships. This hotel is the most convenient.
The temperature in the rooms is excessive! Two fans blowing dust all over you and just circulate the heat!
Last year there was no restaurant (went to the amazing Italian down the road), this year a partial restaurant. Good food and lovely staff.
We are going to save up and go to alternative accommodation next year. The heat is unbearable. It’s a relief to go into the corridor.
- jameslO586NI (2/5): Too damn hot! - Room was unbearably hot. Fans in the room kicked out dust and fluff and bathroom extraction wasn’t working so heat from shower added to it. Signs at reception offered sheets instead of duvets as a cooler alternative should have been a red flag too. 2 nights of abysmal sleep . Staff did what they could but are not allowed to organise refunds. Go through customer service to be told that as the hotel is not advertised as having AC it’s excluded from their ‘Good night guarantee’.
There are AC units in the room but they only heat apparently.
I think premier inn aren’t being honest and continue to take guests money knowing they won’t be refunded.
- ArturoM1023 (4/5): Beware!. - Building looks like it's definitely seen better days and the adjacent pub is partially derelict with a closed off and abandoned outdoor seating area.
The rooms are pretty much what you'd expect from a premier inn, although some details seem to have been lifted from another time. You won't find a usb socket, so don't forget to bring your own charging brick.
Rooms in the wing opposite the hotel entrance are inhumanely hot. You just get a skimpy fan which will deafen you before it alleviates any heat sensation. We were 2 adults and 2 children and none of us managed to sleep more than a couple of hours, and it was out of pure exhaustion. At 05:30 am the temperature inside the room was 30 degrees, with the fan on max, the window open and blinds fully open.
Avoid like the plague if the weather is fine. You'll be better off paying a bit more elsewhere but being able to rest. We won't be making that mistake twice.
- 946chrisk (8/5): Superb staff - Unusually hot time, room was equipped with TWO powerful fans which helped a lot.
The staff were the hardest working people I have ever come across and cheerful with it. They should be recognised as exemplars by their employers
- Mobile02738576301 (10/5): Great - Good stay, room decent size, lovely shower. Staff friendly. Would recommend. Bit pricey only thing could have been better
- 200leighm (10/5): Overnight stay - Great location, room and bathroom were both very clean. Chargeable parking was in carpark next door only £6.50 for 24 hours. Jack who was on reception when we arrived was very helpful 😃
- BigAndyg (6/5): Tired but clean - The hotel is looking really tired. Even though we asked to stay in the, New, extension, whose rooms are way better than the other ones, the room was very stuffy. TV programmes hit and miss with the static ruining the sound quality. We mentioned the stuffiness and the fact that the fan in the bathroom wasn't working, to be told that it might have been switched off as some guests found it noisy. I was told that I could switch it back on by a switch outside the bathroom. I managed to find it in the roof space above the tiles only reaching it by standing on a chair.
There were 2 fans provided which did help but having the extractor working did help.
The staff are very helpful and friendly but pulled in all directions as they are expected to be on the reception desk and in the pub next door, no wonder no-one answered the phone when I tried to contact them.
The prices aren't cheap but the rooms are very clean which is in their favour
- 245janinaj (4/5): Thermostat broken - unbearable heat - Hotel room clean but had a terrible smell of cigarette smoke in there- spoke to a member of staff and they said they ask people not to smoke in the rooms but they do. We bought air fresheners.
The temperature of the room is ridiculous. There are 2 fans in the room but it makes little difference. Spoke to desk staff to be told the hotel is extra insulated as it gets cold in winter. After 2 sleepless nights, spoke to desk staff again and was told the thermostat is not working. We kind of got the idea about this as we read the istructions on the leaflet in room to change temp and was still unable to do so. We appreciate it is warm outside, however the rooms should be of a comfortable temperature. Would we stay again.....absolutely not. It is not the fault of the staff as they have to work in these conditions as well. Premier Inn likes to promote a good night's sleep and relaxation, we are uable to relax in the rooms because of the heat.
- Z2616CAterrym (10/5): 10/10 - Unbelievable night sleep, with the most comfiest beds ever. Friendly, helpful staff with the manager jack personally helping me with parking and provided a warm welcome.
- Bilal-koukab (2/5): Very disappointed experience - We asked staff for rooms clean but no bedding changed , no bins clean and no hoover in the room. Just tidy the used bedding and left some towels
- 533tjk (10/5): Again stay premier inn farnboroh, very good checking in early. - 2nd time stay at this Premier Inn very good! My English not strong, but Kinya patient, understand me. After long trip, I am so tired. She let me check in room early – big help! Room clean, bed good for sleep. Staff like Kinya make hotel nice for foreigner. Thank you! Good place! :)
- Pioneer744886 (4/5): - If you want decent wifi coverage, please don't visit this location.
I was able to connect my iphone to the wifi but not my laptop. When I spoke to the lady in reception, she checked her phone was connected, showed me and said it should be ok - but the problem was the laptop not my iphone. She didn't offer to look at the laptop, never even told me about the support company called Purple. Spoke to Purple but they couldn't offer any assistance. 3 hours later, I used a different internet browser and it worked.
The problem doesn't stop there. I purchased the Ultimate Wifi for 24 hour service for £5.00, but the speed was awful.
As this was a business trip, I needed a reliable and adequate wifi speed but it was slow and buffering was visible regularly. I have visited other Premier Inn locations and the wifi has been superb - why is the wifi so bad here.
When I checked out, the guy working in reception, Jack, offered his apologies and on my next trip offered a free breakfast.
I will not be revisiting this location again - even the breakfast was very salty !
- thomashS3872RS (10/5): Wonderful reception staff - So have just arrived at this location and I have to say the reception staff were outstanding. We were a small group arriving separately. We encountered a few minor issues with the booking but Jack sorted it immediately in a friendly and very helpful manor. There is no parking at the venue but next door is a car park where you can stay for £5 per 24 hours through the app. This was all explained to us and very easy to book. Another member on duty was KINIA. she was again just as helpful and welcoming. Both Jack and Kinia went way above what I would expect from reception staff and should be recognised for their welcome and are a credit to the premier inn brand. They advised on local bars, restaurants, parking and assisted with the booking problem. Can't thank them enough.
- ianbG7333ZY (10/5): Vist to see family. - The staff were very helpful especially Charlotte on the front desk, the Restaurant staff were also very good and attentive, very clean room and bathroom,a summer quilt would have been nice, the 10.5 tog is a bit think.
- LesleyN396 (8/5): Best ever bed….. almost a 5* - Oh, so comfortable those Premier Inn beds….. at this hotel we were welcomed by Nicole who went above and beyond to ensure we paid the least amount possible for our overnight parking and even helped me download the app to do so. More hotels should have a Nicole!
Only one downside, which is the slippery surface in the bath (shower) and how difficult it is for folk who are not so nimble to negotiate it safely. I honestly cannot see why walk-in showers are not standard - apparently Health and Safety applies for workers but not quite so important for Joe Public. This is the only reason I do not score 5/5 as otherwise everything from bed linen to tea & coffee as well as the superb comfort of the bed are top notch.
Great position for the town and visiting friends locally.
- Ellie7508 (10/5): Showing the Premier part of their inn service - Easy booking on the web, good pricing for the regular and reliable experience. Cheerful check in, attentive reception early morning giving the reassurance they are noticing the movement of people - increasing the feeling of safety and acknowledgement at check out, thanked us for staying. This is a Premier Inn staff who showed they were glad they had custom.
A lovely touch on entering the room. A personalised card and chocolate from Reception, wishing us a pleasant stay. The hotel is in close proximity to Travelodge in the town we visit regularly for family. This small touch is what will make us book here first.
- 200konradm (10/5): Very nice and caring staff - It’s the front desk staff that made the difference. My travel agent made a mistake with my booking. When I came back from my conference my room was locked, because I should have checked out. But they left my room alone and told me I could book another night no problem. But even better, they said if I booked on line, I would save 10 pound over booking at the desk!
Kinga is just great.
