Guest Reviews
- Global00847461865 (2/5): Management Need To Take Note! - 1. We checked in, Staff were friendly!
2. No tissue in room. We had to go to Tesco and buy some by ourself! Only to be told the next day that you did have some. So how about some management communication to staff members?
3. We ordered a medium rare stake for 3 people! How about teach your staff how to cook a stake! I gave a tip also although even though the stake was done! NOT what we were expecting & my Mother could not eat anything!
I feel like we have been seriously ripped off! I am not someone to complain usually and that is why I still gave a tip to the people working becource it is not their fault that they have not been trained properly!
The management has to learn a lesson from this!
For example: The hotel was fully booked but no coisants available...
This branch had a lot to learn in hotel management!
Its as if all the staff are slow quiters. Apart from one lovely lady called 'Cloey'
She helped us more than her job description and went that extra mile to assist us!
You should train her and make her the Manager very soon to ensure dissapointing reviews like this do not become a regular occurrance!
- Sarahcar2318 (10/5): Good stay for our family - Much improved since our stay last year. Check in process is much easier and kiosks were working this year reliably. Bedroom was big enough with comfy beds. Only minor points were smell from sink in the bathroom was off putting in the morning and temperature control seemed a bit random.
Other than that a good budget stay
- Y9071XXmatthews (10/5): Warm and welcoming - All the staff are very helpful and go above and beyond with anything you need the rooms are clean and tidy. Tia and vikki on reception have a warm welcome and ensured I what I needed with a nice offer of biscuits on the desk.
- michellewP4728BD (6/5): Stay - They were understaffed but the manager and staff were amazing, well done you couldn't have triedcany harder, well done
- 473stuarts (10/5): Great stay yet again - Yet again hotel surpassed itself .This has to be the best premier Inn in the UK, nothing is a problem for the fantastic staff. Big shout out to Sonia m on reception.. What an absolute star and credit to premier inn .
- F4402FLjackt (4/5): In need of some extensive maintenance - This has to be the most rundown Premier Inn I have ever stayed in.
I am a regular Premier Inn user both businesses and pleasure, the hotel looks like it has been forgotten about and left to fall into a poor state of repair.
No AC or cooling in the rooms, it was surprisingly warm despite having no heating on. Had to open the window to cool the room. It was raining and the gutters were so full with moss all we heard was a steady stream of poring water from bouncing on the ground directly outside our window.
In the morning I looked round and the whole roof and gutters all round were the same, water cascading down from every junction and outlet, all gutters full of moss and grass.
Outside poorly maintained, people seem to be parking on the grass outside the hotel which has turned into a mud bath.
The hotel has the main building and an annex which wouldn’t be an issue apart from separating family between different buildings wasn’t ideal.
Generally not what I have been used to standard wise for this hotel chain.
- deanfK6102YX (10/5): Great Stay thanks Sonia M for all your help! - I have stayed at this hotel many times. The staff here a credit to Whitbread! Big shout out to Sonia M who was really helpful in organising a few bits for me.
- Excursion27940062236 (8/5): Would recommend this hotel - Lovely staff here ,nice quiet rooms (408) with lovely view ,adequate breakfast .
Rooms getting a little bit dated now but nice and clean
- 509masep (10/5): 5* Service will be booking again! - Good location few shops around, I was greeted by Sophie & Neil they was lovely.
Room was clean and comfortable had a great nights sleep would definitely recommend staying here.
- RubyLou_11 (10/5): Enjoyable stay, excellent value - We found this hotel to be very good value for money and genuinely enjoyed our stay. The free parking in November was a nice bonus, though it’s unclear when charges resume during the high season.
We opted for the meal deal, which offered good value and made dining convenient. The only real drawback was the limited seating in the dining room—at breakfast especially, there weren’t many places to sit, and several guests were left waiting.
Overall, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and we would happily consider staying again.
- marialT4724RR (10/5): Very comfortable - The Room was very clean and I felt atmosphere was very welcoming & friendly. Good and friendly staffing would recommend!
- mickmJ574SG (10/5): An autumnal bargain! - Family of 4, stayed for one night.
The room was very affordable, the staff were polite and courteous, the room was very clean, the beds extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Will definitely return.
- nickdK7488HB (10/5): Brilliant Stay !!!!!! - Stayed here for the second time for my partner’s birthday.
We had a lovely short break .
I can honestly say that the staff, in particular Jodie and Tony the manager were absolutely amazing.
One night in particular they were short staffed and they Rose to the challenge of managing the hotel between them .
Tony the manager filled in for the chef who was off with illness and Jodie running the restaurant floor and also juggling the bar and reception.
She was faultless and didn’t show any signs of being stressed whatsoever.
We were so impressed with the pair of them we went to the restaurant a second night .
We will definitely be back again next year again and hope they will both be here next year .
Premier inn , you should be so proud of having these staff with in your team .
AMAZING 🩷
- paulloving137 (10/5): Mini break - Me and my wife stayed for a couple of nights. Seaton is good place to stay clean and tidy with a good breakfast. Only down side free parking would be nice. 🙄
- GandC_UK (10/5): Comfortable rooms, good breakfasts - We had a great 3 night stay here taking advantage of the free breakfast offer which made it incredibly good value. Room was large and comfortable but could dowith a 2nd chair. The windows don'topen but there is working air con.
The breakfasts are good , I dont understand the critisisms in earlier reviews, though its best to be early rather than late. There's enough gluten free options for a Coeliac, you have to ask for GF bread and they can toast it in the kitchen rather than the public toaster.
The carpark is council owned but free from 1st November to 31st March , it is shared with the large Alpamare water park.
The manager is great and will sort out any problems.
If you don't fancy the rather limited choice in the Thyme restaurant the Tunny Catch right next door is good (check online for a discount we found a 40% code).
- JudyAndrew (10/5): Excellent customer service - Excellent as always. This Premier Inn just seems a little better than the others. The staff go that extra mile, never seem to mind helping (even when it's really busy). Big shout out to George, superb customer service and management. We have a little extra need due to a medical condition and this man makes sure everything is right for us, always...
Sophie, makes breakfast a breeze. She is so aware and organised. If a guest seems a little unsure or maybe needs help, she's right there with a smile on her face ready to assist. First class customer service Sophie, I feel you will go far.
Five stars 🌟 from us. See you soon.
- Leedsfamily3 (10/5): Fan stay - We normally book the south premier inn but accidentally booked the north so glad we did. Wow I know it’s only a premier inn but the staff at this place are amazing especially George this man seemed to be doing loads of different jobs people asking him questions he did all the above in the friendliest and professional manor. The guy truly deserves recognition and not to forget Laura for just been Laura 😂 will be booking back 💯. Ps breakfast is fab dunno what people expect for a tenner it’s fab and filled us each morning
- MJWMAN (8/5): A good base to stay and the meal deal makes sense when you have a child as you don’t have to go out hunting for a meal. - We have been before and knew what to expect.
The hotel is clean and convenient and the food, though factory produced, by and large, is good,
The staff are very stretched as the company is obviously running their hotels to be as cost efficient as possible.
They are mostly friendly and cheerful but a couple are not but I don’t blame them as they are under a lot of pressure when the hotel is busy.
- 929nigelk (10/5): Very enjoyable stay - Good hotel very clean good service and access nice breakfast only complaint no decaffeinated coffee or not chocolate.
- irismay42 (10/5): Lovely staff, nice hotel - I was a bit nervous having seen a couple of negative reviews of this hotel, but I honestly needn’t have worried. The parking was excellent - it’s free between November and March - and the car park even has access to a little path leading to a lovely view of the beach and the headland.
As soon as we got in, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, made sure I was okay using the check-in machine, explained we didn’t need to pay for parking, and pointed us in the right direction to our room.
When I came back downstairs to ask when the restaurant opened, the member of staff on reception recommended I book a table, which I did, although I needn’t have worried as it wasn’t ever so busy when we went to eat, although the car park was quite busy by that time and the hotel clearly had a lot of guests. The food was lovely, and the members of staff looking after us were really friendly and helpful. (I can particularly recommend the Biscoff pancake stack!)
Breakfast was nice too, there was no queue and we were seated straightaway. There was a good choice of food and we never felt hurried.
Overall, this was a nice hotel to stay in for the night, I really couldn’t fault the staff, who were all really friendly and helpful, and we generally had a lovely time.
- B107CEjasonh (4/5): Disappointing stay - Very disappointed with are stay.
Not enough staff.
Poor quality breakfast
Room seemed run down not cleaned properly.
No toilet paper. Tv not working properly.
Wasn’t cheap either.
- mickathy (2/5): Awful - This Premier inn in North Bay Scarborough was a nightmare. I visited with a friend who is in her late 80s. Outdoor signage for this Inn is minimal, so we drove past several times without seeing it. The second day of our stay (for which we had paid for the Meal Deal) we received a phone call in the afternoon to say evening meal was cancelled due to staff illness. The staff member recommended the Tunny Catch pub next door as an alternative place to eat, and that we would be refunded the cost of the Meal Deal.. Apart from the food being awful there , the cost for the meal for two was £56. So we had to pay extra. We have still not been refunded for the meal deal! On arriving back at the Inn, we were going to have a drink, but the bar had run out of white wine and we had no choice but to have whatever they had left.. The bar staff literally drained the dregs from already opened bottles. There was also a family with extremely badly behaved kids who were screaming and running everywhere for an hour. The staff were conspicuous by their absence and nothing was done. Would be unlikely to stay there again
- C1549QAjeffb (2/5): Not the best experience - Staff friendly but need more of them. I wrote a review last year in premier inn Bridlington saying under staffed so higher management clearly don't take guests opinions and run these hotel with one staff does all.
Dining area was told seats 60 and quests are over 300 so breakfast is mayhem unless early or late.
Parking is a pain and expensive pay by meter and not free for guests.
Mattress in room 120 had a spring sticking out which looked like it had been covered over by mattress foam. It could have been a serious accident for toddlers playing as was sharp and we kept catching our legs on it.
Not much around hotel that's easy access. The North parade is really steep hills to get to beach.
- Sherpa56893327795 (10/5): Good stop off - Good stop off room lovely when touring Devon Dorset borders. Good parking great if you have mobility issues plenty of parking.
- neilcC6050OV (6/5): Very poor breakfast - I'm sorry to complain but feel I have no choice but to voice our experience. The breakfast was very poor on day one we ate about 8 30 and its was at best luke warm the following day we were the first in at 7am and to our horror again it was at best luke warm and not plesent to eat. We spoke to a few others at the hotel who voiced the same problem. I really believe that more staff would be advisable and that someone checks the temperature of the food to make sure it is hot enough to enjoy.
- G5714JHjackd (6/5): Family night - Family room - clean and made up well on arrival. Very quiet room (407) so we all slept well and had a comfortable night.
Hotel appeared clean and tidy and was just what we needed for a one night stay
Good choice at breakfast and food well cooked
Drawbacks
- paying for parking outside the hotel
- breakfast service was poor, staff were very stretched indeed
- Jossyjo8 (2/5): Tired room and torn bedlinen - Terrible experience. I was here as I am walking the SWCP and fundraising for the Epilepsy Society. It turned out to be an expensive stay with badly torn bedlinen, and the bed made up to deliberately disguise this. Grime around bathroom dispensers and sink overflow. Spills down the walls which haven’t been cleaned off. I have stayed in cheaper and better airbnbs during this trip. I complained to the manager in the morning as the bedlinen issue was only discovered at 11pm and as a lone female I was not happy to leave my room and return to Reception at that late hour.
- rachelsB6305JC (6/5): Nice Stay - Great location, friendly staff all working very hard, but they were massively understaffed for a busy half-term. Two ladies covering the bar, restaurant, and reception both at dinner and breakfast.
- 908sophiar (4/5): Disappointing - Disappointing really. Given it was the first Friday night / Saturday morning of Half Term and high occupancy in the hotel, you would have expected more staff on at breakfast. Slow to clear the tables, slow to replenish pastries (nearly 30 mins to cook), bread ran out, no strawberry or raspberry jam, no Flora type spread (only butter).
Rooms are starting to look shabby - coffee spillage on a lamp shade, scuff marks on the walls, a dirty towel.
Beds were comfy though.
- Inspire34768468231 (10/5): Scarborough - Totally recommend, all staff where lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious and service was 100%. Room was very comfortable, and relaxing. Had good advice about places to go from staff.
- mekydro (2/5): Not in the Premier League of Premier Inns - This hotel is well located in Seaton, close to Tesco, the Tramway and the beach. It has paid-for parking, so that in itself disqualifies it for a 5-star review in my book. However, there were worse things than that here.
The receptionist that was on duty when we arrived tended not to speak clearly, making it hard to understand what he was saying. Our room was ready upon arrival but looked rather 'tired', more like exhausted really.
The duvet cover had several holes in it - I was surprised that it had even been fitted, as it belonged in a fabric recycling bank. The undersheet did not quite fit and was several inches short at the head end. The spare pillows were in an unsealed bag, suggesting to me that they had been used and then put back in to the bag. We put them underneath the pillows that were already on the bed. The window had some mould around the lower part of the inside.
The bathroom shower curtain had several missing hooks and the rail was twisted - it would have taken only a little tap to make it fall off completely.
My partner noticed what appeared to be flea bites on her lower legs during our stay, and they could have only come from the carpet in our room, so that was quite a worry as well.
The breakfast staff were friendly and the food nicely cooked, although on our second day there was no prepared fresh fruit bowl available - just a gap where it should have been. The 4-slice toaster here - one side was quicker than the other - is completely inadequate to cater for the demand and needs replacing with a higher-capacity roller type.
I cannot recommend staying here, and as fairly frequent PI customers we were very disappointed.
- JohnathanM63 (6/5): Good staff but not enough of them - Very kind staff and the rooms are standard but the problem is there are not enough staff only ever 2 staff one waiting tables and serving at the bar the other serving food making beds and being on reception. Shame on you premier inn you are working these people to the bone, the staff are doing their best but service is really lacking due to their not being enough of them.
- Venture46757598709 (6/5): Seaton travel lodge - my experience - Looks a bit of a dump from the outside but inside it is fine although the passage way to the reception seemed to be being used as a storage area.
Breakfast is adequate.
The staff however are really not very friendly.
It's ok for a 1 or 2 night stop over.
Would have appreciated not having to pay extra for the car park.
- darzetboy (4/5): Nice hotel, well situated. Terrible restaurant service. - Sadly the hotel had a staffing problem. The manager was quite new but trying his hardest to please guests. The main issue was catering. During our stay we had paid for the "meal deal" meaning we had breakfast and evening meals. Breakfast was ok but it was self serviced. Less said about the evening meals the better. In fact the regional manager paid a visit to try and sort out the mess. The hotel is otherwise well situated, clean and tidy. Parking has to be paid for even if you have a blue badge. I doubt we will return. May stay in nearby Beer next time. There is a bus service which we used. I wouldn't recommend the meal deal or evening meals unless the staffing has been addressed.
- V2372HGshaunr (2/5): Worst stay in a Premier Inn - Absolute shambles, arrived to find that the carpark wasn't free for staying guests and had to pay separately! We then made our way to our room to find out bed sheets stained and pubes under a pillow clearly hadn't been cleaned properly prior to our stay, We had pre-paid for evening meal and unlimited breakfast , we were told there was Reduced food offering due to problems in the kitchen and would have a wait for food which was over 40 mins, we were told various options were off the menu , very disappointing, it got worse in the morning regarding breakfast, we had paid for unlimited breakfast but were told we had to order our hot food and was bought out to us over 30 mins later , we were presented with a very lack lustre food offering and in no way represented the amount we had paid upfront , worst stay in a Premier Inn, usually very good such a shame
- iwishtoleave (8/5): Great position, given a perfect room and good interaction with the lovely staff - We came for a quick getaway to celebrate our anniversary and contacted the hotel prior to arriving to ask for a quiet room, with a bath. They reponded quickly to our email and gave us a really quiet room with a view of the treetops (and a bath!). We had a continental breakfast which was just enough for us. The staff were pleasant and we will certainly be back as the position of this hotel is quiet, but with a nice walk down to the north beach.
- Climber58966670839 (10/5): Syer is great - Great hotel, great staff especially Syer. Nothing to much always had a smile on her face. Will definitely return good local facilities nearby
- dmK4461ZU (4/5): Avoid the food, accommodation fine - Accommodation fine
Breakfast was not wanted, but included in price
The cooked (raw bacon) breakfast consisted of the usual budget ingredients, some people ate it
Cold offerings very limited, no cheese or meats ,just tiny sachets of Marmite, not loved
What ever combination of buttons pressed on coffee machine you could not get a drinkable liquid out
Suspect budget ingredients like everything else
- 181sharnab (4/5): SEX TOYS IN ROOM!! - Booked in with my Partner and our 2 year old for 1 night. Our room was number 3 and in our room was a piece of paper which stated us to find a cut out bear and if found to take to reception where our little one could have a prize, which we thought was a nice touch. However, whilst looking for this bear with much disbelief we found sex toys behind a photo frame. It's not in my nature to kick off and make a scene, so I went and told reception who removed them from our room. However, all we were given was a free breakfast, which wasn't the best breakfast but wasn't awful. But since really taking a step back and thinking about the situation, I think it could have been dealt with better. My child was in that room and what do a lot of children do with things they find, put them in their mouth!! I feel this was just laughed off, the women who collected it from our room even stated she accused the other receptionist for leaving them there. Obviously these rooms aren't being checked and cleaned thoroughly. Disgusted this happened especially in a family room!!!
- 773Matmat (10/5): great place to stay - Very clean, friendly staff, slight issue on arrival with the small bed not been ready, this was sorted in under 5 mins. Staff couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome
- Lin451 (10/5): A great break - Room was clean, bed was very comfortable and as we’d requested got a very quiet area of the hotel. Check in was quick and staff very friendly. Breakfast was fine, typical Premier Inn. Staff willing to cook anything fresh for you if requested. We ate each evening in the restaurant. They had a lot of food delivery shortages when we were there, but George, the manager, and Daniel in restaurant helped us create very good meals. They were both outstanding in their service and friendliness. Parking was £7.90 for 24 hours, which was a bit annoying as it had to be topped up daily, but there was plenty of space. We had a lovely break and would go back another time.
- HelenjJ78 (10/5): Great little place - We stayed for one night, and it was incredibly busy. There were two members of staff that were brilliant, one was Daniel and we didn’t catch the other lads name but had long dark hair. We had an issue with the room and they changed it straight away, they dealt with situations so well. We had a meal in the evening and breakfast both were excellent!! The usual “pub” food but done well. We would stay here again!!
- mayj745 (8/5): Good experience at Premier - Everything clean, convenient and comfortable as usual with Premier.
Special mention to the young man working the afternoon/evening shift on Fri 26 Sept. He was on reception and in the restaurant and seemed to be doing everything!
He was really helpful, great member of staff, sorry I didn't get his name.
- 491shaneye (10/5): Husband's birthday - We have stayed at this hotel regularly for my husband's birthday for 3 or 4 years now & enjoy it every time.
From check in we had an excellent experience. Due to the beds being very high & with my arthritis in my hips I usually book the family room to get the sofa bed so I don't have to climb on the high bed. I think I booked it wrong because we're were given a double, I went straight to the reception & explained and the lady on reception, Louise, was lovely. She listened, understood & did her best to accommodate me, giving us an accessible room on the ground floor which was perfect, lower bed & bath.
They seemed to be working long hours as Louise seemed to be there constantly and was doing the reception & resturant work.
Nothing was too much trouble for her as i saw her helping other guests too, she really is a credit to the company, hope we have her service us next time we stay. Thank you Louise, you really are a star. And a thank you to the room attendant lady I was talking to because the standard of cleanliness was top notch. The bathroom was immaculate, toilet paper & soaps were full, no dust, debri or mould that I could see. I always feel comfortable in a clean room.
Breakfast was lovely, well cooked, plates & cutlery were all clean. As we were near the reception we made the most of the coffee machine in the reception, loved the coffee.
We were certainly happy with there service & value for money.
- chezzal2022 (6/5): Pretty average stay, not great value for money - We stayed here recently for a wedding nearby and overall had a good experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and our bed was really comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep.
We had booked an early check-in, and although this was initially a little stressful as rooms weren’t immediately available, the receptionist handled the situation politely and did her best to get us into a room as quickly as possible, which I really appreciated.
I am a part-time ambulatory aid user, and while I was fortunate to be having a good day and didn’t need my aids, I did notice that we were directed straight to the stairs and I didn’t see a lift or signage for one. It would have been helpful if accessibility information had been clearer.
The only other small thing I would have liked was an iron in the room, as I didn’t have time to go back to reception to request one.
That said, at £87 for the night, I didn’t feel the stay was particularly good value for money.
Overall though, the friendliness of the staff and the comfort of the bed stood out, and we relatively enjoyed our stay.
- O5674QYjonc (10/5): Chloe B a credit to Premier Inn - You always know what you get at a Premier Inn, a decent clean room and a good mattress at a reasonably cost.
Although we are always welcomed by friendly and efficient staff we must say that in this instance the level of service given by the duty manager, CHLOE B far exceeded our expectations. This young lady is a credit to Premier Inn
- GeoffLeigh-on-sea (6/5): Hotel service good. Company policies rubbish - Having read a number of negative reviews, the first day seemed to me to be proving them wrong, a nice room, comfortable bed, a decent breakfast and helpful staff.
However, it soon became clear that Premier Inn may be the RyanAir of hotel chains.
1, We booked bed and breakfast bit were told on arrival that we had to pay an extra £2 per person per night for a full breakfast, despite the advertised unlimited breakfast. "Our famous unlimited Premier Inn Breakfast" from their website There was no mention of this when we booked
2. Free internet was advertised but clunky, unsecured and unresponsive. A better connection was available for an extra charge. "Enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout your stay at Premier Inn. Simply select ‘Premier Inn Free Wi-Fi’ from the list of available networks and get connected". From gheir website. There was no mention of this when we booked
However, the highlight of the stay was the 18 times we had to ask for a new key, especially the time when the woman in reception did three failed keys in a row and had to go to the room with me and let me in with her staff key. This is not a unique or even uncommon experience and I refer you to metal things that you put in a hole in the door and turn. I think they are called keys and have had a 100% success rate since the middle ages.
- D4637VLhannahg (10/5): Teri is Excellent - Great customer service. I arrived after a very long two days driving from the south of France and Teri was fantastic. Super helpful and friendly after a very stressful few days. Highly recommend!
- Maddy_Le12345 (10/5): Clean and Friendly Hotel - The reception team are friendly and welcoming. The hotel and rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was ok but could do was modernising but was clean none the less.
- William (8/5): Enjoyed our stay - Hotel personnel were very helpful and friendly.
Room, Toilet and shower very clean. Tea and coffee in the room was always replenished.
The fan system air and refrigeration from the kitchen in the Beefeater was very loud especially at 05:30 AM. All in all I can recommend this hotel. 8 minutes with a Taxi to the train station.
- bounce2tigar (10/5): Comfortable stay - Love Premier Inn, you get exactly what it says on the tin.
Clean, comfortable room. Free tea and coffee.
Vicky on the front desk was so lovely, welcoming, friendly.
- hughcr (8/5): Needs to buy more bulbs :-) - We originally were going to stay 4 nights, but with the being quite wet, we only stayed 2, with the receptionist, according to the invoice, arranging for a full refund for the two days not stayed.
Arrival and checking in was smooth. I had asked fow two rooms next to each other, but in the event, they were opposite. Perfectly ok. The rooms were clean, and had everything you needed.
Except...
Chris's room was missing a bulb in one of the bedside lights. The really helpful receptionist got a replacement quickly. Also, Chris's card activator in the room was tempermental, and needed a solid tap in the wall direction in order to work.
My room - no bulbs in either of the bedside lights. Again the recptionist managed to find replacements and fitted them. The TV would not work - it turned out that someone had turned it off at the wall plug, which was hidden on the behind the TV. On trying to use the desk light, it turned out to have bo bulb. It turned, there was not a single spare in the whole hotel!
WiFi - that was abominable! The free connection consistantly gave sppeds of around 600k upand down. Again, the receptionist upgraded me to the £5 a 24hr premium. This only gives 8Mb!
In this day and age? REALLY?
Dinner in the restaurant was ok, and with the individual prices, I recommend the meal deal!
Breakfast was ok, nothing special, but hot and filling.
If it wasn't for the service the receptionist gave, the review would be 3*, but she was so helpful, it became 4*
- sarahkF2564QZ (2/5): NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE - We have used Premier Inns around the country for years, but following our stay at Seaton, will not be using them again.
There was mould on the bathroom ceiling and shower tray, and we had to go down to reception for toilet roll.
I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN
- Seaside18116119873 (10/5): One of the best Premier Inns - Friendly welcome, clean and comfortable hotel. The Beefeaters next door served very good fresh food with quick attentive service.
- G6933EDemmab (2/5): Worst premier inn experience - I stayed 2 nights with my family a week apart. On the first night we got to our room and the sink was blocked, dirty and had a horrible smell to it, there was an poo stain on the toilet and the desk below the tv had stain all over it giving us the impression our room hadn’t been cleaned. In the morning there was no hash browns, cereal or croissants there was also no juice and the coffee machine was out of order. When we was finished there were no napkins anywhere and when asked for some got given a roll of blue roll.
On night 2 our room had no toilet roll. In the morning no tables were cleaned so we had to sit on a dirty table until someone came over to clean it and still there was no coffee.
Staff were running around and there was only one person dealing with everything. Feel sorry for the staff dealing with dirty tables, checking customers in and behind the bar. The lack of staff is a genuine concern
- joshbX5849FO (10/5): Thank you syer - Syer was a very warm and welcoming person very helpful and did her best to to make the stay enjoyable very polite and always smiling
- frustratedo (10/5): Pleasant. 7/10. - I checked in thurs afternoon and the lady at reception was incredibly helpful.
She was dealing with an issue when I arrived so I had to wait a few mins, but she seemed like nothing phased her at all and was very efficient.
The hotel was pleasant, sinks were dated and worn.
Limited selection of teas compared to other Premier inns.
Would stay again for right price.
- C8722CWpatriciah (6/5): Noisy but clean and comfortable. - The restaurant is very close by and causes a great deal of noise from the extractor fan at the back of the kitchen - which is opposite the bedrooms. It was so loud (from 5am to after 10pm) that we couldn't have the bedroom window open at might during hot weather (no air con either). There is no lift so you have to drag your cases up the stairs.
- Glen7410 (4/5): Not the best premier inn - Staff were friendly and welcoming but the hotel is in need of some refurbishment. Room was stifling hot and all I had was a dodgy fan to try and keep me cool.
Everything is very basic and the bed was really lumpy and uncomfortable.
- alanrF5275OD (10/5): Top time at the hotel - Couldn't have had a better stay, the reception team of Gemma, who set the bar and I couldn't fault was always happy to chat and Vikki who was great along with Syra
- G1076IQglennr (10/5): 2 team members stand out - Syer and Viki are absolutely amazing! Great staff always helpful nothing to much for them! These girls deserve a pay rise!! Great hotel with nice clean room. Will stay again for sure.
