My only gripe with PI, is that you give us a super comfy bead, PG Tip’s tea, but only crumby Nescafe Original. Please can you change it to Nescafe Gold? Soooo much better. X
• The_Stede_Bonnet (4/5): To be avoided if you have a choice. - The good: Good location, friendly and helpful check-in staff. The bad: Evidence of long-term damp and rot in the bathroom. Dirty towel. Lots of noise from corridor due to room layout. Breakfast was a shambles - only one member of staff on duty and they were absent from the restaurant for most of the time. Kitchen ran out of some foods for the cooked breakfast buffet and informed us "we won't be cooking as we don't have any". Granola tub was mostly the residue from the bottom of a packet.

• L363ZRrobertm (2/5): Disgusting - We spend our anniversary either in Perth or Dundee and do chill out and get some Christmas shopping. We are the type of couple that when we are leaving any accommodation we place the towel in the bath and we strip the bed to help the people who service the room a little as they have a really busy job. Well on this occasion my wife and i were horrified when we removed the quilt cover and seen what we had been sleeping under - the quilt was disgusting and stained, and there was no way that whoever made the bed up never seen this. we were almost sick looking at it. There was nobody at the check out desk when we left but i did call reservations the following day, i was sent an e-mail and asked to send a photo, then i was told that i would be refunded the maximum of £41 - what a disgusting gesture to suggest - Ooops we are sorry you were sleeping in such a disgusting bed and we think that is worth £41, absolutely disgusting attitude from Premier inn, we should have been refunded the full amount or given two free nights at a premier inn of our choice. Room was clean overall however there was a clump of hair in the bath and the plughole was totally clogged with hair - yuk. The breakfast was not worth the money with cheap, poor quality food and not much choice. Plenty of nice cafes and restaurants nearby instead so save your money

• MAWTHORNE (10/5): Perfect stay - Stayed for a long weekend, and had a lovely relaxing time. Room spotlessly clean,staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and had dinner first night which was great too. Would definitely recommend a stay there. Perfect location

• katemE2161RM (2/5): Don't eat the Premier Inn Restaurant if you have allergies as the staff is not keeping track or ensuring customer safety - The staff was polite at the hotel and Premier Inn Restaurant (at this hotel beefeater), but unfortunately the restaurant served me something laced with allergen. When I went to the restaurant they asked me if I have allergies and I said yes to shellfish that includes crab and prawns. I am not even sure if they entered it into their system or made a note of it. We ordered beer battered fish and chips and a pesto sea bass fillet. They served it and gave no indication that it was an allergy risk or came into contact with shellfish or was cooked on the same surface or they didn't have any controls in the kitchen to ensure safety. Instead they just served it to us. I started eating the seabass fillet and two bites in I started coughing and though it started with a tickle in the throat and a slight cough and I kept eating and then it was just getting worse and worse, I stopped eating and I just ended up getting full blown asthma attack. Good thing I had my two puffers on hand, I took the ventolin several puffs, the symbicort puffer several puffs, I took 20mg antihistamine. During that time they asked if I was alright and said was ok even though I was still having issues - they offered lemonade and I drank that and we both left. I had to have another antihistamine before I could go to bed and obviously wasn't a good night. Also, I had to stay on top the asthma medication for the next week, with the puffers and the antihistamines and I was only in oxford for 3 days. It was not a good experience and could have been more dangerous if they had served that to someone that requires and epipen. It was the worst allergic reaction to shellfish that i have had to date. I complained via the portal on their website and haven't heard anything back at all yet. Don't stay/eat here if you have a food allergy!!!!!!
• G7376XMalisons (10/5): Great Stay - Mum and I came down to Perth for a concert and our stay at the Premier Inn was amazing they have 2 check in machines and you have to scan the QR code to check yourself in. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was also lovely you can have as much as you like. Would definitely stay again.

• Flyer41081447788 (10/5): Very clean and tidy hotel, good service. - recently stayed at the Premier Inn Oxford Kidlington and was really impressed. The whole place was spotless — the rooms were fresh, tidy, and clearly well looked after. It felt comfortable from the moment I walked in. I especially want to mention Rekha at reception, who was so welcoming and friendly. She made the check-in process really easy and smooth, taking the time to help with everything I needed. It’s always nice to be greeted with a smile after a long journey, and she really set the tone for a great stay. Overall, a clean, comfortable hotel with excellent service — I’d definitely stay again.
• ChipCobb (6/5): Off to a Bad Start... - We booked this hotel as we were visiting Paignton sea front for the day. It offered the balance of lower prices than the sea front with better (free) parking. Unfortunately, when walking towards reception, two staff members from the Beefeater and Premier Inn were confronting three local youths who were causing trouble. Their language and attitude were very intimidating causing upset to our children. They refused to leave the area and were abusive to another couple trying to check in. One of them entered reception and started throwing items at the staff. This was not the first occurrence according to a staff member. I then had concern for my car as they were hanging around in the car park. Once checked in (with the apologies of the receptionist), we went to our room which was very spacious compared to other family rooms we have stayed in. It was clean and tidy. Unfortunately the air conditioning wasn't working as expected, leading to a very uncomfortable night, even in October (windows don't open). We ate at the Beefeater restaurant for dinner and breakfast, which we couldn't fault. Great service, good food and drinks and they went the extra mile when they realised it was our daughter's birthday. Sadly we won't return. We will look for something out of town in a more isolated location. If you read the reviews of the Torquay Premier Inn you will also find reference to anti-social behaviour.
• 465clared (4/5): Clean hotel, staff rude - I have stated here on numerous occasions, hotel itself is clean. You know what you are getting with Premier inn however I was met with surly staff. As a lone female traveller I do not expect to be nearly turned away from the restaurant as 'they were busy'. There was no kitchen activity at all whilst I waiting 30 mins for them to take my food order. I would be now reluctant to stay here again as I do not want to have to search at night whilst working away on babies for something to eat. Staff looked bored & not interested.
• mad-sammy-cat (2/5): Overcharged for meal deals - I am trying to speak to someone regarding being over charged this weekend. I asked the receptionist to add 2 meal deals for our 1st night and realised shortly after that the system had booked 4!! The receptionist showed me her screen which was correct but when she brought the bill up it was wrong. She assured me it would be sorted but it hasn't. I have tried contacting the hotel but nobody answered the phone. This is incredibly frustrating as the rest of our stay was really good but this stress had done it for me

• stuarthardy3 (10/5): A great experience at this Premier Inn and Beefeater eatery - Another great Premier Inn and Beefeater Restaurant location on Brixham Road Paignton Devon. Spacious car park, so parking wasn't a hassle on arrival. Great check-in experience with friendly helpful staff, the hotel has 2 lifts giving access to all floors. We were located on the first floor with the room overlooking the main road outside the hotel. Although the road was busy there was no traffic noise to be heard, the window was a fixed window, but a very good air-conditioning was providing adequate air circulation. The ensuite had a large shower cubicle (with enough room to ahem! share a shower), and the room was very clean with all the room facilities functioning. We chose a meal deal package for an evening meal and breakfast at the next door Beefeater Restaurant, well worth the investment. We chose to pay the extra and my wife and I ordered the Fillet Steak with the usual artist of fries etc, oh boy! The meal was exceptionally good, fillet steak was cooked to perfection. At this point I must point out the the Restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating with a very special shout out to our server/waitress ERIN :-) who went above and beyond, nothing was to much for this wonderful young lady a credit to Beefeater. So, go for the meal deal you won't regret it. Breakfast the following morning was also a great experience too, although and additional hot drinks making machine wouldn't go amiss as a small queue did cause minor disruption. Hot food was good, along with a good selection of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit etc, again well worth the money, a special mention here for the Blueberry Muffins, so delicious, don't tell anyone but we snuck some out for snacking on later in the day..... shhhh don't tell anyone. Anyway, overall experience at this particular hotel and eatery was very positive, and we will be having another single night stopoverv again to continue our exploration of the local area and stately homes. Would recommend.
• CornishGal487 (10/5): Another Great Stay at Premier Inn White Rock Paignton - We return to Premier Inn at White Rock as our first choice for the base for our break as it is ideally located for our stay with regular buses near to the hotel. Rooms are quiet and a free car park for guests. The rooms are spacious and quiet. Good value for money especially including the meal deal. Sufficient choice in the restuarant for evening meals and ample breakfasts. Service very good.
• Sightseer05225805791 (4/5): Tired and Grubby needs Investment. - I like Premier Inn and have stayed in many sites throughout the country, Perth is by far the worst I have stayed in and really lets the brand down. The whole hotel is seriously in need of a refurb, very grubby and poorly maintained. The in house Wifi is awful , (area has very limited 4/5g signal), additional charge if you want better connection, having to pay extra for decent WiFi in 2025 is just robbery. TV had the wrong remote so very difficult to control. Had to get the electronic keys recut four times in two days. All this and you still had to pay £8 per night to park your car outside ! On the upside , the staff were very nice, bed was comfy and there was plenty hot water for showers and baths.

There was a hole in the carpet of the room, could have dusted a bit better. the bed sheet was clean, but had small black marks on it like mould. The evening meal (Mixed Grill) asked for steak to be well done but not burnt, was pink in the middle. Hostess asked how the meal was, I told her, which she offered to get it changed, I said no thanks, she came back with she didn't cook it! Then the second fried egg was snotty, so I didn't eat much more

Only small issue was toilet took quite a hard press on the button to flush properly. Room itself was clean and tidy. The bed as ever in Premier Inn was glorious. King size bed and was so comfortable. Would recommend.

• 213rayk (8/5): A great place for a break. But I ended up having a dislocated shoulder!! - My stay at the Premier inn was very good. Clean. Very welcoming staff the girl on the reception Tracey was exceptional. And Becky. Steve and Jamie. I had a major fall getting out of the bath onto the floor and dislocated my shoulder. Steve waited till the ambulance came and I was taken to hospital and I spent the night in the emergency department having my shoulder put back in. I had gone away for a break and thanks to no slip mat in the bath I now have several weeks off work to recover. I recommend anti slip mats are in every bath.

• JeanandBrian_13 (4/5): So disappointed! - We have been before and it was good. This time awful! Cleanliness in our bathroom, staircase and dining room left a lot to be desired. Service was appalling at the evening meal as was the taste, well lack of taste when we finally did get served. Waited 1 hour for our main and we were booked in at 5.30! 1 hour and 30 for our dessert. Clearly short staffed but should the guy serving then go straight in and help in the kitchen without changing or adding an apron at least? Should a new start be left on her own when she didn't know the menu or e en how to work the till? Breakfast should have been better but they had run out of so many things. Not a nice taste left in our mouths!

Premire inn clean bar ans restaurant on site .and a bath which i love . Good food . Staff nice and friendly happy in their work lots of parking . Nice an quiet area even thought its next to a small airport its not a commercial airfield only private planes . So not many and you dont hear then when in your room . The only thing i had an issue with which is a minor problem and nothing to do with premire in . There is no mobile phone signal howevet there is Internet and WiFi signals and service which works fine x
• charlottefC2586UP (8/5): Clean, good value for money and a great location! - Me and my other half stayed here recently for 2 nights as a stop place while visiting Paignton Zoo. The location may be a distance from the town centre if you aren't driving, but there are plenty of bus stops near by. Location was perfect, if like us, you have a car. 7 minutes from the zoo, 10 minutes tops into the town centre and seafront. A few supermarkets, KFC, McDonald's, The Range, Lidl, and plenty more businesses within walking distance. The staff were extremely helpful and always met you with a smile and a friendly hello. The building is quite large (4 storeys) but lifts are available. Rooms were clean and exactly as described. The rainforest style shower was great!! Tea and coffee available in room with more items down in reception for you to help yourself to and if like me, you take a lot, the staff are happy to give you a bag for ease of taking it back to your room. Quite a large free carpark (which is shared with the Beefeater next door). We never had any issues with finding a space after coming back from days out, just remember to register your car on the tablet in reception on arrival. Good value for money. If I was ever in the area again, I would definitely stay again.

This was our first time in Paignton and we were not disappointed, excellent checking in, very friendly staff (Rebecca) very organised booking the meals. Steve on the night shift. Great rooms, very comfortable beds as usual and great showers. So a great Premier Experience and great value for money. Also need to mention the Beefeater attached to the Hotel was also exceptional with great breakfasts and evening meals very impressed with the staff there as well
• CAEWALES (6/5): Room and bathroom reasonably good. Service non existent. - The good: Close to Blenheim Palace, good sized room and reasonable bathroom. Berni Inn provided a reasonable breakfast and evening "pub" meal. Top ups for room items such as coffee and (the awful) packs of milk available in the reception area (bit of a misnomer!). Good parking. Neutral: The hotel is on the edge of a new technology park opposite Oxford Airport. The bad: Service is non-existent. Arrived and had to book in on a machine. No welcoming face to greet you. If you need to speak to anyone you have to call them from a back room. I requested the room be cleaned - which was duly noted by the male receptionist. I hung the card on the door handle which states that the room needs to be serviced and I have informed reception. When I returned that evening, nothing had been touched. I mentioned it to the female receptionist who shrugged her shoulders and said she knew nothing about it. I did state that the receptionist from the morning had written this down - and this was greeted with a further shrug. She did however give me clean towels. The bed setee in the room was very grubby and frayed.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Premier Inn Perth and felt compelled to share my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with such warmth and professionalism — and Laurie in particular went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. Laurie’s customer service was simply outstanding. Friendly, approachable, and genuinely caring, Laurie made sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. What really impressed me was that after I checked out, Laurie personally called me to let me know the hotel had found my expensive skincare products that I had accidentally left behind in the room. She then kindly arranged to post them back to me — such a thoughtful gesture and a true example of going the extra mile for guests. The hotel itself was spotless, comfortable, and incredibly convenient — exactly what you would expect from a Premier Inn, but with that extra touch of hospitality that really sets it apart. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, the room was quiet and well-presented, and breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Premier Inn Perth to anyone visiting the area, and I’ll definitely be returning. A huge thank you again to Laurie for making my stay such a pleasure — you turned a good trip into a great one!
• davidtB9913AQ (2/5): Far below usual PI standard - Direct pedestrian access to the High Street was blocked and the detour was long - this was important because my wife has mobility issues. There was very loud music in the street until late. Neither of these were the hotel's responsibility but we should have been warned beforehand and given the opportunity to cancel.. Dinner was very bad - pie burnt, peas hard and cold, gravy gelatinous, and head waiter (if that's what he was) was scruffy, surly and unhelpful. The room was comfortable and clean.

• 517JohnM517 (8/5): Another great stay in Kidlington - We have visited the hotel before so knew what to expect, We found the hotel to be well situated for a visit to Oxford, with easy access to the park and ride at the Oxford Parkway railway station the cost was £5 to park the car this enabled 2 people to travel on the bus to Oxford and back again using the car park ticket, The hotel was clean and tidy and easy to find, we took advantage of the 2 course evening meal and a Buffett breakfast package along with a choice of a free drink of various choices, on one of the nights, and just breakfast on our second nights stay, all of which which worked very well,

The hotel is very well presented with a Beefeater restaurant attached. The checking is done via machine and bar code but unfortunately I had no mobile signal so could not access my email so had to check in at the small reception. The rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable as all the premier inns I have stayed at. The restaurant was clean, service very good and value for money. Definitely stay here again. Very pleased.

• 617craigo (2/5): Dirty hotel poor bedding and not. Enough towels - Arrived at the hotel and was greeted by Rekha who was so friendly and accommodating. We told her we had a room booked and for some reason premier inn booked and charged me for 2 rooms when only one was needed. After the confusion I was given my room card and made my way to my room. The room wasn’t clean it only had one towel when there was 2 guests. The duvet had a hole In it and the pillows was flat. I went downstairs to see Rekha and she apologised profusely saying this was unacceptable and shouldn’t have happened. She then gave me another room and when I went up this was in an even worse state. The room wasn’t cleaned, the bed sheets were dirty and again only one towel. The bathroom sink had water in it from the previous guest. There was sweet wrappers under the bed and at the side of the bed. Again I went too see Rekha who was mortified about this and again she apologised and gave me clean sheets so I could make my bed. Rekha also gave me complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience and free upgraded WiFi. While the hotel itself wasn’t very clean Rekha was totally professional and I couldn’t fault her. Next day after an uncork sleep I went to reception so I could book my evening meal,but no one was there. I waited a good while but still no one came to see me so I had to leave for work. Would certainly not stay at the hotel again.

Our room was clean light and big air conditioning bathroom nice no problems with room staff were polite and helpful the man at reception booked us a table for dinner at the beefeater next door too we didn’t do there meal deal as we wont having breakfast there the next day. Free car park just got to put car number plate in there machine in reception. Which he told us about Tea coffee sugar and milk if you wanted to top up in reception which he also pointed out to us . Nice stay and sleep nice premier inn to stay in . We stay here again
• Lavalamp1234 (2/5): Disappointing! - Very disappointed as, having paid in full at time of booking, staff member refused to check us in for our room without us paying a further £8. Not a huge amount but frustrating as no explanation could be provided about why we were being asked to pay this additional fee. Didn’t have much choice as far from home & late at night. Staff member did not offer to resolve, just fobbed us off with an email address for customer services if we wanted to complain.
• G9470HGbrucem (2/5): Like a budget airline.., - Good location, decent room and I am so sorry I chose this hotel. The free wi-fi NEVER worked. The better option ALMOST NEVER worked. As in AT ALL.
• D5161JXterryh (8/5): hotel wasnt bad but the beefeater was amazing the best in the area miles better than cattlemans(steakhouse) - alot of on site parking! rooms are good, but little short on staff could do with more! but the best part of the stay is that in my opinion have the best beefeater linked next door to it we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner all of which was absolutely fantastic! easily the best place to eat in the area (believe me i tried)
• MervynMoore (6/5): Room for improvement - The hotel was central to most amenities with a small car park available at the back of the hotel. Staff when checking in were pleasant although were unable to provide the rooms that were requested when booked, namely an adjoining room for an elderly person requiring assistance during the stay. The rooms were basic and comfortable. The shower in our room leaked onto the bathroom floor and caused a mess. The door cards regularly had to be reprogrammed, which was very frustrating.
• yasminhN5100SJ (6/5): Restaurant needs an urgent clean - The room was okay, though my parents’ room was much nicer. Air conditioning was inconsistent and often unreliable. The breakfast restaurant was very disappointing — dirty and poorly maintained, with windows covered in handprints and tables left uncleared for long periods due to a lack of staff. It needs a thorough clean and proper upkeep. Food presentation was also concerning, with vegetarian items placed directly next to non-vegetarian ones, often mixing.
• chrispO7049TN (10/5): Good choice when visiting Paignton - Friendly staff for the week. Clean rooms and happy to change bedding and refresh room. Air-conditioning could be better output. Good breakfast, evening meal as expected standard menu. Zoo very close and 5mins drive to beach. Good car park. Steam train Good accessibility only 10mins away.
• U6174WFJM (6/5): City centre. - That's about all. City Centre location. £8 - 24-hour parking. Tired from the outside, reasonably modern inside. The staffing levels are to the bare minimum. The poor girls serving the restaurant also double up for reception. Therefore, the restaurant is extremely slow! I'm not sure what the chef was doing, half an hour to dish up Nachos? ..... And steak and salad was a bit of cucumber thrown on top of peas!! Does someone need training? Luckily, I was staying the night so I could wait to be fed!! Oh yes, and to top it all the till broken so it was cash only. Fawtey Towers or what? I felt sorry for the two poor young girls who just kept going. As a shareholder, Premier Inn sort your act out.
• 484glenc (10/5): Parking charge!? - I have stayed at this location several times before and have never received a parking charge. On my last visit I did not see or was offered to use the electronic vehicle registration process, instead I was asked to enter registration on a printed slip supplied by reception which I did so. I have now received a penalty notice from Horizon which I am contesting.

• paulatY5857HM (4/5): Nice but not practical - Overall the hotel staff were very pleasant and the bed was comfy. The only issues we had was the low water pressure in the bathroom, the noise from the room above us ( no soundproofing) and we had to spend our 4day stay living out of the suitcase as there were no drawers
• B9446DEmichaelw (6/5): Poor - Currently here now and yes pretty warm outside.But the Aircon is obviously controlled centrally.Absolute rubbish and can't open a window.Last visit fir us and still 4 nights left.
• lyndab224 (8/5): Close to main street which is closed off to cars - When checked in had stains on sheets, Dean at front desk came up himself to change sheets. Had problem with kettle, when put it on the breaker would jump. Dean showed us how to put the electricity back on. It happened again at night (could not use kettle). When told Andrew at front desk the next morning, the problem was handled rapidly. Very slow internet. Be careful it tries to go back on your phone internet. Turn off your internet before connecting to hotel internet. Close to the Perth museum (Which has the Stone of Destiny) and a short walk from the Black watch museum.
