• 993georginar (8/5): Good stay but new front doors needed - I stay here regularly and with the recent renovation, friendly staff and great breakfast it’s the best one around. However, if you have a room above the automatic reception doors, they are noisy, with people coming and going all the time it becomes frustrating.

• thefrostmiester (10/5): Kew Gardens just over the river - Very friendly and helpful staff and manager. We stayed in a plus room, very good. Sorry for scaring the housekeeper when I went along the corridor for extra teabags. First time in this Premier Inn, we previously stayed at the one in Richmond, but the staff were very miserable and unhelpful to the point of being rude. Therefore, this was a much better stay. Good to be able to meet the new manager and have a chat with him to feedback personally. Good location for Kew Gardens.

Stay was excellent, again, as usual. The only one critical point to make, what are those sausages?! Bring back the old sausages rather that the long cardboard things!
• 952scarletf (8/5): Good Stay great breakfast - Stayed here on a couple of occasions and it's never disappointing. I this visit i would like to mention Debbie and Donna in the restaurant as the breakfast was spot on. The room was clean, tidy and more than sufficient for my Stay my only issue was the heating in the room I set it to my desired temp but as soon as it hit temp it turned off instead of maintaining temp so when I woke up it was chilly. All in all pleasant Stay and would return

• rocketjiver (2/5): A very cold stay! - Our heating would not stay on in our room, we hadn’t realised it had gone off until gone midnight, so turned it on again and went to sleep. Throughout the night the thermostat kept setting itself back to a lower temperature so we were very cold. We didn’t ask to move as it was the middle of the night! In the morning we found the thermostat had gone even lower, we turned it up AGAIN but had a very cold showering experience! When we reported this to reception, the lady said to her colleague ‘it’s 116 again’, so it was a known problem! They said we should write to their customer services as there was nothing they could do at the hotel. The main reason for this review IS the customer services! All they have done is apologise and said we should have reported it at the time, not in the morning. I have mentioned their ‘good night guarantee’ and they have now ignored two emails from me! We always choose to stay at premier inns as, on the whole, you know exactly what you will be getting, but on this occasion we are extremely disappointed!

• Caz2909 (6/5): Sad decline - I wrote this review a months ago but never submitted it. We’re back at the hotel now: the door is still not mended, and only one lift working All my comments are still relevant so here is. Been coming here for work-led/social purposes for many years and the decline is sad to see but again for balance - the staff are still unfailingly friendly, the breakfasts great, and location superb for Kew/the Archives/the Tube. “Stayed here many times over the years but in that time it has gone downhill physically despite some rooms being upgraded. For example, the small area outside the bar is decidedly shabby; the carpets on the ground floor are stained and the chairs in reception damaged. The bath panel in the room we stayed in this time was buckled and coming away. The door/buzzer from the car park (which is filthy) is flaky - the last twice we’ve stayed here we had to walk round to the main entrance: one or other the lifts is often not working. The wi-fi is pretty dreadful whichever room you’re in too. The wiring on the hairdryers is iffy (in every room we’ve stayed in!) as they cut out if you move the dryer in a certain direction. The new check-in system (l believe it’s Horizon…. say no more) seems to be an issue: it took us 15 minutes to check in this time and even then it double-charged us for breakfast. Having said all that, the staff are friendly and welcoming, the breakfasts are amazing, and the hotel is conveniently placed for Kew Gardens (and the National Archives) - both walkable. Overall, then, the hotel definitely feels tired and in need of some TLC, hence only three stars, down from the five l would have given a year or so back.”

Breakfast really good, constantly restocked with fresh supplies, despite it being busy. Easy parking. Manageable 15 min walk to the station. The hotel has a new manager, Jesvil, who was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. Would def recommend.

Made a call a few days before our arrival asking about charging my wife’s mobility scooter and the receptionist ensured that we’d be given a room in the ground floor. The lady on reception helped us get our bags into the room, and the young lady in the bar was really welcoming
• taran818 (4/5): Not good - I stayed here at the Essex Freeport Premier Inn as I was inviting my daughter for the weekend and this was the worst premier inn I have ever stayed in. I stay in Premier inns alot. I had my autistic grandchild with me so I paid to have breakfast every morning but they failed to let me know they was having work done on the monday so I didnt have time to make other arrangements as we was travelling home not long after that so we had to go with out. Also in the room it self had no air con so had to have a very rattled fan going all night with was very hard to sleep with. I will never be staying at this Premier inn ever again.
• alexpV7HZ (10/5): Friendly staff, good room for the family - Stayed here with wife and two kids to go to Kew Gardens. The walk is about 15 minutes. Hotel was good, everyone enjoyed the breakfast, kids liked the chap on front desk offering chocolates! Room was clean and fine for us four, with a bath and shower. We always look forward to the hash browns for breakfast. Friendly staff, would recommend.

Friendly and accommodating with a special mention of the very lovely Linda who brightened up our morning. Our room was spotless, the bed amazing as ever. No complaints at all about our visit. • sarahuT3742KO (10/5): Great hotel next to river. - A big thank you to Jesuil, Joaquim, Carl and Sheldon for making my stays at Premier Inn Kew Bridge so wonderful. Have been staying on and off here for 11 weeks consecutively and the staff here were exceptionally helpful and kind and made all my stays great in so many ways. Really glad Jes took the manager post - he now heads a fantastic team. Special thanks to Carl for nice rooms. The hotel is well located near to Kew Gardens and backing onto the river which is only a 2 minute walk away. Great pubs nearby like The Weir and the Beehive which have live music and a traditional nostalgic feel. Great place overall.

During a rain storm a young man I think called Aqeel ? walked us across to the dining room carrying an umbrella ! Yorkshire hospitality at its best !

We had a lovely breakfast - there was lots of choice, freshly cooked hot food and well stocked buffet. Will definitely stay here again.

• Ambassador812504 (2/5): Disappointing Stay at Premier Inn - 1. The lift wasn't working and we were put on 4th floor. We're both OAP with hip + breathing issues which made accessing the room a nightmare. 2. Wanted Twin Beds and were given a Double bed. 3. Our Room was NOT SERVICED which was rather a shock when we returned at 11 o'clock at night very tired! 4. NO APOLOGIES WERE GIVEN FOR ANY OF THE ABOVE AND WE WERE LEFT HANGING AROUND WAITING FOR THE STAFF TO COME OUT AND LET US KNOW WHAT WAS HAPPENING BUT THEY DIDNT. EXTREMELY RUDE DISRESPECTFUL BEHAVIOUR!!! I stay at Premier Inn several times a year and this must have been the worst stay ever! I organised for my Party of 5 to stay with Premier Inn (independently booked) on the basis of my previous good stays at Premier Inn. Very embarrassing!

• P7342EDjoelg (10/5): Make a wish made special - We were visiting for a make a wash trip to see the CBeebies panto! Megan and her team really went above and beyond to make our stay special. We had adjoining rooms so we didn’t have to be separated as a family. They left a lovely gift and card for my daughter. The rooms were spacious and comfortable! The food and service was also amazing in the adjoining restaurant.
• 830cathieg (8/5): Comfy, needs a little attention but staff make up for any minor wear and tear - Staff more than make up for the slight wear and tear that is starting to show at this hotel. Every single member of staff was pleasant, friendly and welcoming. Arrived too early to check in, but this wasn’t an issue and my bags were securely stored. On arrival back, the key was already prepared, bags returned and straight up to my room, no faffing. Room was decent size, bed is usual Premier Inn comfy, clean and tidy. Slight wear on the carpet with the bathroom, but on the whole, pleasant. Great heat from the shower. I thought I’d booked breakfast, and Sidhu took time to check and informed me I hadn’t. No issue, I could go for breakfast and pay when I was leaving, totally relaxed. Back to pack, grabbed bags and was struggling to open the door, the housekeeping lady could see me struggling and straight away left her cart to help me with a smile. I was slightly nervous about the car park as I hadn’t reserved and had read a couple of negative reviews online. There was plenty of space, parked in the Premier Inn section and made sure there were no valuables on display. On the whole, the hotel needs a tiny tweak with carpets fraying, but more than makes up for staff being pleasant, friendly and helpful. All of them.

• B4107JXkarlad (10/5): Long stay - My husband and I stayed here on and off since June due to a flood at home. We could not have stayed at a better hotel. All the staff are so friendly,helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Kerry leads an exceptional team from the restaurant staff to reception and the ladies who keep the hotel lovely and clean. My husband and I spent both birthdays there and we were made to feel really special…(a shout out to Kerry and Tracy!).. Hotel is clean Free parking /lots of spaces Breakfast is tasty and fresh We just cannot fault this hotel. We did not want to leave but will definitely be back for breakfast and to see them all. Everyone could not of made us more welcome 😊 We just had a brilliant stay !
• V9862RFwilliamb (6/5): Definately not value for money. - Did a review on the Premier Inn website with the choice to share with Tripadvisor, but could not submit by that route 🤔 Great Staff, prompt check in, a short stroll to view the Thames and in a vibrant part of Brentford. Expensive for 1 night for a standared room, compared to other parts of London. Car parking expensive for 1 night and would not want to park their for any longer than was required.

• Miffy-1962 (8/5): Comfortable stay, very good breakfast. - A lovely comfortable hotel, with free parking. There was a pub next door, which we used in the evening. Our only negative was that it was around a 15 minute walk to Freeport village, we attempted to walk there for dinner, but couldn't work out how to cross the busy roads ! So gave up, We assumed that as the hotel title was called ' Freeport Village ' that it was closer! Apart from that, it was a good stay. Breakfast was very good, the staff very friendly, and a good choice of food.

Staff were all amazing and so helpful, Breakfast was a lovely surprise as it was cooked to order which was so much better than the buffet style. Would 100% recommend this hotel!

• mark_heath969 (8/5): Airport Stop Off - Cant go wrong with a Premier Inn! Stayed for one night on the way to the airport. Check in was easy and staff friendly, nice comfy bed and all the mod cons (tea / coffee) - English TV. Only downside was the continental breakfast was a bit on the weak side as not many pastries available and had to wait for some to be cooked. However the chef was lovely and got this organised.

The staff are absolutely amazing: warm, welcoming, and always going the extra mile. The food is fantastic and great quality, excellent value for money. It’s become my go-to spot for breakfast in the area, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed, tasty start to the day.
