Guest Reviews
- D5510LQlesleym (10/5): Fantastic Hotel - This is an excellent hotel the staff are lovely rooms are spotless and so modern I stay here on average 3 times a year a big shout out to Sam on reception he’s so helpful and always has a smile on his face see you all very soon
- juliepB5775GP (10/5): Exceeded Expectations - Exceeded our expectations.
The price for a Friday night in London was good.
Staff were amazing, helpful and friendly.
Clean and tidy everywhere.
Breakfast was good choice.
Free hot drinks to have in or take out, free bottles of water in room.
- 892davej (10/5): Compact Room with everything you need. - Helpful staff as expected from a Premier Inn. The room is compact, but is clean & comfy and has everything you need.
Booked breakfast for 9:30. It was very hectic, but the staff were on it keeping everything stocked up.
- robertmE7678SJ (10/5): Great hotel - Second time staying in this hotel and once again the room was lovely and very comfy bed and the place was spotless, I can't praise it enough.I can't say much more on the hotel as we didn't eat in brewers fayre which is attached to it but we did have a few drinks in there before we headed into town and was disappointed to be told the bar would be closed at 9 -30 so we didn't rush back 🙈so if you like a night cap unfortunately you won't get one and that is nothing to do with the hotel itself they are 2 different places, strange though but if you want a goodnight sleep definitely stay
- Q903ZCdavidc (10/5): All good. - Very warm, clean comfortable and functional room. It was quite small, but as I was alone, it was fine. Breakfast was very good and the location of the hotel is excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. Check in and out was very efficient.
- Malkz17 (10/5): Great base for a trip in Derry - Brilliant hotel for a few nights in Derry. Great location with a shop, takeaways, retail park and restaurants all very close by. Rooms are spot on, staff very helpful. Would stay again
- A8000KUrachell (10/5): Family stay - Excellent stay at the Premier Inn. Lovely clean rooms and staff were very friendly and helpful. Went above and beyond for our little ones. We will be back 😃
- O6077OVcharliem (10/5): Staff go above and beyond! - We booked two nights in this hotel. Room was spacious and very fresh. They have recently had a refurb which is a bonus! Hotel staff were approachable and friendly. And nothing was too much trouble. Knowledgeable about their local tourist sights and explained transport available for us. Restaurant staff were helpful especially as we had a gluten allergy. There was lots of options available for us even a gluten free Peroni! Breakfast was excellent as there was several options to chose from. Would definitely return!
- 816sapnat (10/5): Perfect facility for a one night stay - Welcoming reception. Friendly staff. Support 24/7. Complimentary coffee. Room was clean and cosy. Interior was not outdated, very modern with electrical buttons to function the room. No problems at all. I would come back.
- dianewP3803UT (10/5): Ticks all the boxes - Staff are all so lovely. Room was so clean & love the new reception area. Great value for money. Love the free car parking as well.
- timhQ690HA (10/5): Great value, excellent facilities. - Excellent stay, clean, comfortable facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Well located and overall great value for money.
- ethanhQ1150OH (10/5): The staff make this Premier Inn! - Had a great stay here. Staff were all brilliant, rooms had been done up since our last visit. Great breakfast! It’s the staff who make this place! Can’t wait to get back next year!
- 309stevieb (10/5): Exceptional - Stayed at this hotel in sept 25.
Both me and my wife stayed for two nights and I must say I would have no hesitation whatsoever on going back.
Sam and Gareth the hotel management were amazing and couldn't help us anymore than they did .The staff were met in the corridors welcomed us to the hotel and were very friendly and approachable. We went for breakfast in the mornings and I must say it was really very good. There was a good choice of hot food and also you could of had a continental breakfast with a lot to choose from.
Definitely this hotel ranks high on our list and we shall return
- 914mrsb (10/5): Wonderful night away - Amazing and professional staff, going above and beyond to make our stay here the best. Lovely food too. Comfy bed and the most peaceful nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious! Will be staying here again at Easter for sure
- 9Tailors (10/5): Great place to stay - Excellent super clean room & bathroom. Comfortable bed. Welcoming staff. Good that bar open late. Tasty breakfast. Will visit again!
- K60BFpeters (10/5): All around a great place to stay! - Great place to stay! Amazing location with clean, cosy and warm rooms. Warming and welcoming team and atmosphere. Close to bus and underground networks.
- 23betty (10/5): Good Value hotel - This hotel is a really good value option if you are happy with a small but clean and comfortable room. We paid extra for the 'larger' room but they are still quite compact. The hotel was in a great location for us and had a nice atmosphere. Breakfast on the first day was excellent and really good value for money, unfortunately on the second day it was very busy and they struggled to top up food, cutlery, crockery etc.
We would stay here again as it was good value, clean and well located.
- Colum (8/5): - Clean hotel rooms and welcoming staff
- michele395 (10/5): Great for a single female traveler - Good, central location, easy to find and value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Security arrangements were good between the public areas and the rooms and felt safe for a single female traveller.
- O9143WIlm (10/5): Great Experience - First time staying here at the hotel. Loved my experience at the hotel, very clean and staff were lovely and breakfast was lovely too.
- Scenic09777271010 (10/5): One of the better ones! - All staff we came into contact with at reception and in the restaurant where welcoming and friendly. We went for the meal deal offer which includes an evening meal and breakfast. The breakfast was all you can eat and had a great selection on offer (and kids can eat free) The food we had was reasonably priced, well presented and the team were attentive. Room was spacious, bed comfortable and very clean. And you can request fresh towels and the room to be cleaned at reception. Great value for money and will return!
- Lian Huat (10/5): - Very comfort stay! Room clean, staff friendly.
- DayTrip12224844534 (8/5): A great two night good value stay in London! - We really enjoyed our stay, the staff were very kind and helpful, the main floor facilities were great ( bar and breakfast area) a nice spec and comfortable. We were able to store bags, and nothing was too much trouble. The complimentary tea and coffee from the restaurant are great. The only downside is transporting it - opening doors which need a key card with two hot coffees (even with lids) is a pain. Note that we did not try any food but have in the past, and it looked good. Location wise, it's pretty good walking distance to many popular places. The tube is a bit further than ideal, but only 8 minutes, so it's quite critical of me to call it out....otherwise a great stay!!
- Yuusukeve (8/5): Kid friendly well located hotel - We had a great stay! The hotel is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the city centre, which made it easy to get around. Parking was included in the price — a big plus. Breakfast wasn’t included, but it was available to purchase at the front desk if needed. Rooms clean and tidy and you can ask at the reception if you want the room clean or not.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the place had a nice, family-friendly atmosphere that made it perfect for traveling with kids. There’s also a market and some takeaway options nearby, which was really convenient. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay — we’d definitely come back!
- jeremysZ2572KA (10/5): Great Hub - This a great Hub and I've been to many - location, service etc all excellent - my go to place to stay when in town, ideally located for transport links and access to Barbican etc
- suegL7998OI (10/5): An enjoyable stay - An enjoyable stay for 2 nights. An immediate friendly acknowledgement upon arrival was such a lovely welcome ( the male late afternoon receptionist 5/11/25). Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable and clean (small) room. Tasty, healthy breakfast too. I would thoroughly recommend to stay here.
- B2357EKsarahg (4/5): Not guaranteed a good nights sleep! - The room was fantastic, more spacious than expected and clean. Check-in was easy and check out. Value was reasonable in comparison to most hotels.
However a good nights sleep is not guaranteed.
Regular doors slamming shut, meant I was awake until 3am not being able to sleep. Every time I would be about to fall asleep I would hear a door slam shut and it would wake me up.
- NannyMaggie (6/5): Will not return - Rooms updated from our last stay with family but as a couple went to the bar @8pm and at 9 pm was told the bar was closed @9.15 pm, it’s a hotel …. Went into Derry the next day by taxi (£7 ) went back approximately 9.15 pm and was told bar closed, we are not ‘partying’ people but do like to have a drink before we go to bed on a weekend away
- clareaO1845OG (10/5): Visit with and to see family. - Excellent location, clean hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfasts and dinner, and the rooms were very modern comfortable.
Felt very safe staying there, good security for anyone travelling on their own.
- Jenny (10/5): - Very nice stay. Comfy bed and nice shower. Lots of parking and easy to find location. Will stay again if in the area.
- 463gordonl (6/5): You get what you pay for. - Price wise it's good value for money.
It has comfortable beds and the rooms are clean.
Shower 🚿 was okay.
location into town is good.
It comes with free parking.
The breakfast is terrible, just not nice at all.
Mutton dressed as lamb 🐑
- susannR3569SP (10/5): Perfect for an overnight stop - Great hotel for an overnight stay. Very modern and very clean. Well located for my trip to St Paul's. Great breakfast which was really good value. Room was compact but had everything I needed and was exactly as advertised.
- redcardigan (8/5): Sort your hairdryers out Premier Inn! - This is my second stay at the Clerkenwell Hub - it's convenient for me as it's relatively near (a bus or taxi ride - or a 20 minute walk) to Kings Cross Station. On this occasion I upgraded to the larger room, but I probably wouldn't do so again as the extra space was minimal and the window was frosted. I think if travelling alone, the smaller (windowless) room is perfectly adequate - if travelling as a couple, the smallest room would be too claustrophobic imo. Cleanliness was good, I like the light and heat controls and the large TV, but although the bed was comfortable, the pillows weren't. My main beef - and it really was an inconvenience - was the god-awful hairdryer. It sounded like a road drill and turned on and off intermittently. I would have presumed it was broken, except I had the exact same problem last time I stayed, in a different room. It was impossible to dry my hair, and if I was staying again I'd bring my own. This could be a deal breaker though, as lugging a hairdryer is something I'd prefer not to have to do. Expecting a fully functioning dryer in the room shouldn't be too much to ask - budget hotel or not. It's worth noting that the hotel is about a 10 minute walk away from the nearest tube (Farringdon), although the number 63 bus passes by the door very frequently - taking you to Farringdon or Blackfriars tube stations in minutes. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, preferring to try cafes locally. Exmouth Market is very close by.
- MelAF5 (10/5): Well worth a stay!! - Great stay at this location. All staff were so helpful and welcoming, great customer service nothing was too much of a problem snd always smiling!! Restaurant was so helpful as regards gluten free options so was a huge added bonus for us.
Room was really spacious for a family of 4, really clean and tidy. Would recommend and would return to stay here again!
- L1262GBkasiap (10/5): Great - We had wonderful time staying in the Premier Inn when attending a local wedding. We were welcomed by Sam who was friendly and super helpful as well as great craic. Our room had a very comfortable mattress and we had a great night’s sleep. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent, too, with both cooked options and continental choices available. 10/10, would definitely visit again! Thanks so much 😊
- Michelle (10/5): - We had a one night stay in the midst of a bad weather event. We were greatful to arrive to an easy check-in, parking accessible. Room large and comfortable.
Staff pleasant and helpful. Decor appealing and modern.
Would probably stay in more Premier inns on our next trip.
- J4810YZhelenw (10/5): Great stay in premier inn londonderry - Great stay at premier inn londonderry, extremely helpful staff , very clean and comfortable beds. Can't wait to stay there again
- Departure20114202235 (10/5): Great service & very clean. Food was lovely. - Great service, food was great & place was lovely & clean. Would recommend this place to anyone & will definitely be back soon.
- B5238YQcatherinel (10/5): Great value hotel in the Farringdon/Clerkenwell area. - Great value hotel in the heart of Farringdon/Clerkenwell area, close to Exmouth Market and Farringdon station. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The room is small, but perfect for a solo traveller for a few nights. Bedroom and bathroom were spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again.
- Guides4Brides (8/5): Great location, spacious bar and lounge. - Convenient location near Old Sessions House, around 8 mins walk from Farringdon Tube Station. It feels like a really safe area; I had no concerns as a female walking there at night. Very spacious bar and lounge area, friendly staff and 24 hour check-in. The bathrooms weren't quite as pristine as you'd usually expect with Hub hotels, but hopefully will be refurbished before too long, bringing the score up to 5 stars again.
- curioust25 (10/5): A cost effective exercise! - We were very happy with our stay in the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, before arrival and during check in and out. Room was clean and spacious, even with 2 pull out beds. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels and space for all to get ready.
We stayed for a family night in the city. Location was easy to find and had a shop just in front (there was also a takeaway for late night food, which was ok). We had a great nights sleep, no noise issues and breakfast was nice. Again friendly staff eager to help and food was grand with a good selection of items. Sidenote: I loved that the toaster toasted the bread with just one speedy enough turn through the machine.
I have to say that after booking I read some negative reviews, but I didn't find any issues (and I tend to swing closer to hard to please as a guest). I remember reading some reviews that remarked on the restaurant being in a different building, which is correct - but its connected by a corridor and a handful of strides from reception.
If you want a clean, comfortable and welcoming stay, that's easy on the pocket, stay here! It was a quarter of the price of our usual place and just as good. Plus city cabs made it easy to get in and out of the city, fast friendly service there also.
- O8466XJpauls (4/5): Wouldn't recommend it to family or friends - The room was ok the staff are friendly but I wouldn't go say in it again we and my family went up on Friday I had a 5 year old up to get surgery done on Saturday morning she couldn't get a good sleep on the Friday cause it was like the people staying over us were having a party my daughter couldn't sleep and when I went to report it I couldn't find the staff
- Rodney (10/5): - Great beds and doona
- stephen (6/5): - Check in was easy. Conor was very helpful throughout the stay and a good source of information and help. We did not try the breakfast. They are transitining form breakfast in the adjacent restaurant to offerring it on site in a room they were renovating, so stay tuned for how that will go !. Room was acceptable in terms of size and comfort, but the WiFi was awful - it kept dropping, could not stream video it was too frustrating because of the drops, and even simple search and e-mail use was not to usual hotel standards. Water in the sink changed from hot to cold quickly for no reason - this is actually dangerous, especially for children I would think. These 2 issues were dealbreakers for us and we would somehow have to have confidence they were resolved before we would stay here again. Location is a bit too far from town to walk but with free easy parking and no problems parking in town if you have a car this is a good place to stay. Close to grocery stores, and Marks and Spencer's if you have a car. Nice residential neighborhood actually with good views of the mountains so pleasant to take a walk around the neighborhood.
- Duane (8/5): - Nice clean facility, room was clean, and the bed was good. To bad the restaurant is temporarially closed. Did find a good place close by Link 47.😁
- Marilyn (10/5): - A great place to stay. Reception staff were very helpful and nothing was a problem. Meal in the restaurant was average, but it was OK.
- Gianluca (8/5): - Good if you don’t find anything else in the city and if you have a car
