- martinsN3299DJ (10/5): Great welcome, great food - perfect ☺ - Great welcome, great food - perfect ☺
Room was very clean, and located around the back of the hotel, so even quieter than expected! (Thanks Marie!)
Atmosphere in the restaurant was great, and the staff at both the restaurant and hotel were very friendly and welcoming, as usual ☺
Excellent food and drink! 🍻 🥂
- philiphT2543VE (6/5): "Free" parking - ensure your vehicle is registered at reception. - Advertised as "free" parking but requires registration at reception - and yet reception failed to ask or register my car for this "free" car parking i- cost me a £67.00 fine.
- K2510YBjoanneh (8/5): Brilliant - Once again brilliant Anne checked us in . In error I hadn't booked a walk in shower room but Anne was so helpful changing our room to suit our needs . The room had been cleaned to the highest standard by Lola , thankyou Lola . Once again we found the customer service delivered by Anne wonderful, she is an asset for Premier Inn
- Dream296828 (10/5): Excellent. - Ordered sea bass it was cooked to perfection like it was being served in a 5 star restaurant in central London. Waiter was Chris his service was excellent. Would recommend a stay and eat dinner.
- 384butchb (10/5): I would definitely stay here again. - The room was well equipped and the bed was comfortable.
All the members of staff were very friendly and more than happy to help.
Breakfast was cooked fresh and that made a big difference
Chris in the restaurant bent over backwards to help and was very polite and is a credit to the company.
Well done Premier Inn!!
- louisegD4205NF (10/5): Exemplary customer service - Wow! Anne, Chris, Dom. Thank you for making a difficult stay for me, so much easier. Your customer service exceeds expectations.
My husband was in the Spire Hospital in Heswall for cancer treatment, so I was alone whilst he stayed in hospital. Anne was so thoughtful and caring, asking after my husband and his he was doing. She even came back to my table and asked if I needed to transfer downstairs if my husband was coming back to the hotel.
Lady at breakfast was attentive too. Btw the black pudding is fantastic!
Rooms clean and fresh (thank you Jac).
Food was lovely and filling. Staff told me all about the deals (thank you Chris and Kieran the chef).
All such lovely positive people. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you 🙂
- D1043UAnb (8/5): No water in shower - There was no water in the shower and it took two visits by the receptionist to get BOTH the hot and cold turned on. This wasn't entirely his fault. I was standing in the bathroom monitoring the shower and he was at a cabinet in the corridor opening the valve/s. I shouted, yes, there's water so he thought he'd solved the problem but he'd turned the hot on and the cold off so then we just had scalding hot water. The receptionist responded very quickly both times we traipsed down to reception about the shower.
Whoever did the maintenance that resulted in the water being off needs sacking.
We'd booked a twin room and I thought we would be able to change the 'configuration' of the enormous bed by moving two smaller ones apart but that isn't how it works. It is possible to separate the two beds but the bedding is for one bed. The other bed is a poxy smaller single that I would have thought is meant for a child sharing its parents' room, not for another adult. It seemed very unfair that one of us had the luxury of the vast expanse of the main bed while the other got the smaller, lower single.
The room was far too hot even at the end of October in the northwest of England and there was no way to cool it sufficiently as the window only opens two or three inches.
It was a one-night mid-week stay and there were no noise issues.
Overall, it was OK and suited our needs but the shower business made us late for our meeting.
- Road742404 (8/5): Great location, friendly staff. - Great premier inn in a great location to Wirral beaches and to Chester. Peaceful, easy to park and warm welcome from staff. Bedroom was clean but basic, as expected. We all slept well.
Problems were raised to staff and were dealt with to the best of their ability at the time.
Appalling, non existent wifi/ data or signal availability.
- rogerrB6180QX (10/5): Great staff - I stay here frequently, Adam and Vicki are most welcoming. I come for business often and have built a good relationship with all the staff so it's always my go to when on the wirral!
- Bembo200 (4/5): One the poor experience - We have stayed in Premier Inn several times and this experience was the worst.
Booked in all went well.
We then realised the heating/cooling system wasnt working at night whenit hit cold. One of the managers assisted with electric heaters.
Following morning the key card locked us out and we couldn't find any of the hotel assistant. They changed the card three times and still the same issues.
We had breakfast which was very poorly done. The mushroom tasted rubbery, the sausage wasnt probably done or welldone. (even though we mentioned it should be) all in all it was a waste of money for the family of 5.
I must say I have stayed in a few Premier Inn this is the first I would have to wait 25 mins for the breakfast to be served.
- 425mariaq (10/5): Great night sleep, great staff - Stayed in a family room. Very clean and bed was super comfy. Very quiet slept like a baby. Had food here also with Chris duty manager who went out of his way to make sure we had a pleasant evening. Lovely breakfast in the morning.
- Malc13AFC (8/5): Great visit, impressed with improvements - Stayed here before and was not impressed, as the rooms were ok and the restaurant/ pub was not the best and closed at 9 pm.
Thankfully it has improved and hopefully when I visit again it will be even better.
The staff are new and very positive, the restaurant/pub has improved and the food was good to very good and it didn't close at 9pm!
All this place needs is the company to spend some money on refurbishment of rooms and the restaurant/pub and it has the potential to be a 5 star establishment.
Thanks again to the staff who made my stay most enjoyable!
- A1263NJbenjamins (10/5): Good Hotel and helpful staff - Had a really lovely stay here recently, manager Libby was super helpful and knowledgable about the local area, made us feel immediately welcome
- DS7373 (10/5): Great hotel, clean friendly 👌 - Great hotel, good location for area . Lovely clean room and bath area. Great staff .
Used bar and restaurant so convenient and new . Bonus to have free parking. Would use again
- P8040CRjonathanr (10/5): Great location for business - Great service and very friendly welcoming staff, the hotel is in a good location with easy access to Heswall and has plenty of parking
- paulnR1333CW (2/5): Hotel in need of investment - Hotel is very rundown and in need of a full renovation
Decor is dirty and drab and flooring is ready for a refresh.
Rooms are grim and tired.
Restaurant attached is also very poorly maintained.
Floors are extremely dirty particularly wooden area and stairs.
Staff whilst some are pleasant others do not acknowledge you.
- joeheath1948 (8/5): No complaints - Clean, comfortable, predictable, with charming staff. Easy to find and good parking. A nice route south from Liverpool without 'electronic tolls'! Well done, Premier Inns, for what appears to be a policy change by providing the lodge's direct Email address; civilized and useful.
- O9398JCkarend (8/5): Good stay, lovely staff - Clean rooms, fully functional as you'd expect from a Premier Inn. Lovely, helpful staff. Great breakfast next door. Good value for money for b&b. Be aware, no customer toilets available outside pub hours (pub closed in afternoon, if you're arriving 2.30-5.30pm).
- Katelyn (10/5): - No lift. But the lady at the front desk with dark hair and bangs was absolutely delightful. As a woman traveling alone she made sure to let me know if I needed anything to reach out, didn’t say my room number out loud in case someone could over hear, and made sure to put me on second level.
- JACKSONJE8 (6/5): Functional stay at the Premier Inn - My wife and I stayed here for a wedding at the end of August.
Was really a case of 'does what it says on the tin' - basic room which was fine for our purposes as we literally just changed and slept there. Breakfast the next morning was decent. Room was clean enough but a little worn and some suspicious stains on the sofa!
Overall fine if you are not planning to spend much time there and looking for a reasonably priced option.
- C571SStomw (8/5): Good stay! - Large room with bath&comfy bed - option to have food in pub next door too!
Only downside, no lift!
We enjoyed our stay&will probably be back! 🙂
- H9284ENchristinem (10/5): Comfortable room in a hotel with a good location for exploring the area. - The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was in a good location and easy to use as a base for exploring the area. And the staff were friendly and welcoming. Good parking right at the hotel.
- U7254QIsimonp (10/5): Heswall Premier Inn Best Ever!! - The warm welcome and care from all members of staff was so appreciated at a difficult time for us both. They all went the extra mile in supporting us when learning of the passing of our father during the visit.
- Susan (6/5): - a little hard to get into the lot and not a lot of extra parking.
- 398ianb (6/5): The whole place needs a bit of TLC but the staff were fantastic. - Lovely, friendly staff. Good location and quiet, however, the whole place is looking very tired. Cistern in our room was broken so we had running water all night. Everywhere needed a lick of paint. The adjoining pub was not good, expensive beer and the breakfast was mediocre. Coffee was from a flask and revolting. I felt sad for the staff who were so nice and having to work in these conditions.
- 617myraj (10/5): Top place to stay - Stayed here before and will do so again.
An exceptionally clean and comfortable establishment. Large restaurant attached for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Friendly helpful staff. Large car park with bus and train station nearby for travel into Liverpool
- andrewsS5723HF (10/5): Family Gathering - Polite and welcoming professional staff, more than happy to assist with any requirements. The staff were more than happy to provide extra pillows. And the staff at the adjoining bar and grill were excellent
- NickiP1602 (6/5): OK for what we were there for! - Its was my Husbands father's memorial at the local cricket ground so locality of this premier inn was ideal! Leave the car and walk!
Room was nice. You know what youre getting with a premier inn. What we weren't expecting was the motorbike drone like sound every 30mins or so (through the night as well!) of what we now believe was a boiler. Had we have been staying longer i would have asked to be moved as you couldn't switch off from it once you could hear it and it was annoying! One other grumble was the bath/shower. Unfortunately this isn't a shower cubicle. It is a shower over a narrow bath with a curtain, so whilst washing, you had to fight the curtain that was constantly sticking to you!
Plus side - Bed was lovely and comfortable and staff were ever so friendly and accommodating. If we had just been in a room away from the boiler, this review would have read differently!
- gwend383 (10/5): Kind staff will to help out the questions or requirements - The people working there was fantastic and the buses stop right outside of location which ment you didn't require a vechicle
- SusanK762 (10/5): Lovely stay - We stayed for one night at this premier inn whilst going to see Bruce Springsteen at Anfield. Check in was quick and smooth the lady on reception even went to check if the was a table available in the restaurant! Excellent friendly staff, comfortable beds, we had dinner and breakfast in restaurant, lovely food and great service.
- T985TVjohnr (6/5): Family Visit to Wirral! - Lovely large bed, but let down by breakfast closing sharp at 10am on a Saturday. Then the EV chargers in the car park were hopeless! Three there, down-loaded thier app, tried every way, changed charger, etc. Nice and helpful passerby told me to go to the Manor a mile away. All worked. So the thing that got my vote was the lovely friendly and helpful people on the Wirral!
- F1660XBjasonj (4/5): Adjoining room, never again. - I've had mixed stays here, first wasn't so bad even though the meal next door was terrible the first night but good on the second. The second time I stayed I was put in an adjoining room, never again. I could hear absolutely everything from next door, even the person the guy was taking to on the phones loud speaker and I'm half deaf.
Whomever was in the room above must have had big boots on, it was 'stomp, stomp, stomp all evening until late. Staff were okay, though I didn't appreciate the feeling of being restricted to just one of each item of breakfast when taking my order, I got the feeling the lady was paying for it, and at £10+ I expect to get at least two of everything.
I have stayed in nearly all the hotels on the Wirral while working there and this is further down my list than I expected from a premier inn. I will stay here again but, I will insist that I'm not put in that room (215 I think).
- Missperuna (10/5): Gem of a Premier Inn!! - Have recently returned from a 2 day stay at this superb hotel, ideally located for visiting friends in the area. From arriving and being greeted by the wonderful Lindsey on reception, the clean, comfortable room and very pleasant pub attached ,we had a great time here.
Our room was top floor at the end of the corridor. Very quiet and relaxing.
Bathroom had a bath and shower which was a bonus.
Bedroom a good size, with a king size bed, tv, and very comfortable pillows.
Housekeeping available if requested at reception. Clean towels, spare coffee/tea and milk always available if required.
We didn’t have breakfast whilst staying there, but did spend some time in the pub attached which was very friendly and not too busy.
The car park was immediately outside the hotel and free to use, with plenty of spaces.
Bus stop outside to go into Liverpool.
Definitely recommend staying here at Greasby Premier Inn - we intend to return very soon.
- DMBham (10/5): Great hotel, warm welcome - Great hotel. The beds are very comfortable. It was good to be able to adjust the room temperature (full instructions are left to aid this) as it was a cold, stormy day outside. At no point, did the room feel too hot or too cold.
There is plenty of parking, during the daytime and the evening.
Lovely, friendly staff. We received a warm welcome from Lindsay on reception. She made us feel welcome and cared about.
- Scarboroughmark (10/5): Bang on the money - Comfortable bed, clean room, good shower. All the basics covered for a good price. Breakfast was very good. Freshly cooked with better bakery items than many hotels. EV chargers in the car, very handy. Could do with proper USB charging in the rooms. There was a USB A port but didn't work. All of the staff were great too.
- natashawQ4984ZF (6/5): Good room, restaurant hit & miss. - Very comfy room, clean & good size. Staff very friendly. Room was very cold (granted it was -2 outside) but heating took along time to heat up & no heating in bathroom. Restaurant was hit & miss, breakfast had good options but cooked breakfast came out with lots of water on the plate - much better local cafe’s for similar price.
lunch there was very nice, attempted to go for dinner but kitchen closed earlier than stated online.
- daviddT9454CO (10/5): Family hotel - Great rooms, friendly staff at reception and restaurant, dinner was tasty and breakfast was a great start to the day, will definitely stay again when visiting family we had a double room and a family room, the only thing was the picture when booking the family room showed 3 beds only to find out on arrival that the picture was not of that hotel, so only 2 beds
- paulbT5652CP (10/5): Excellent stay and service - Stayed here for one night on business.
Lindsay on reception was very helpful and went over and above.
She explained everything, she had checked the room and put the light on and the heating.
She double-checked my table reservation in the pub next door.
Food and drink there very good, staff also very helpful and friendly.
I would definitely recommend staying there
- Weekend0914 (10/5): Special Place. - Enjoyed our stay at the wonderful Premier Inn, Greasby. Exceptional staff and management - genuine warm welcome, friendly and extremely helpful. Very well run - immaculately clean, very good state of repair. We stay there regularly, while visiting family and friends. Delighted to recommend this excellent hotel. N.B. It is the staff who make it the special place that it is!
- 2point4kidsEngland (8/5): Would stay again - Older hotel in need of some updating in communal hotel areas but rooms of usual Premier Inn standard. Not the best but not the worst I've stayed in. Staff were super friendly and helpful in both the hotel and restaurant. Restaurant has been refurbished with a nice bar and good choice of food. Great nights sleep as very quiet and would visit again.
- Aileenmah (10/5): Great budget stay - Lovely welcome, comfortable spotlessly clean room with everything you need, great service and friendly staff as usual from Premier Inn. I stayed here as just needed a bed for the night and it is perfect, good food at the pub next door made for a hassle free trip.
- MarvinSteppingley (6/5): As expected - I booked three rooms for a family occasion. Good parking and a welcoming reception.
Beds are advertised as super-king sized but we were allocated a normal double bed. A big shout out for Lindsey who switched us to a room with a king sized bed and fetched another towel: thank you, Lindsey.
Bed was comfortable but I would have liked an extra pillow. Neither of us has long black hair so finding some in the bathroom was unwelcome.
Room décor was fine but the corridors and stairwell are tatty and tired.
