Guest Reviews
- Pedro (10/5): - Cerca del centro. No tiene aparcamientos.
- 119phillipc (10/5): Superb stay - Just a great hotel .
Next to train to Manchester
Clean and tidy all round
Staff Great
We stay here often. Just perfect for the market
- LaRomanaLaromana (10/5): Excellent stay - first class - Excellent stay at this very convenient, for Caernarfon , Premier Inn.
Very welcoming staff , especially Jen the manageress who goes above and beyond to be helpful, friendly and makes you feel a valued guest. A lovely touch was when we returned after a day out to find a lovely card and biscuits to enjoy from Jen . Never had this at any other hotel before ! The staff really do understand good customer service and I hope their management appreciate them !
Hotel lovely and warm, clean and quiet.
A very short walk to the town & castle.
The Table Table Harbour pub/restaurant , harbour & cinema are all outside the hotel. The Premer Inn has their own 4 blue badge car parking spaces ( you will be given a code for access) , these are at the side of the hotel , plus there are an additional 7 blue badge spaces for anyone to use at the front of the hotel. In addition, there are 2 very large chargeable car parks at the side and the rear of the hotel which had plenty of spaces . I think those are £7.70 for 24 hr parking but blue badge holders are free.
The Table Table Harbour pub which is just outside the hotel serves a delicious breakfast and all meals we ate there were delicious . The lady on duty every day Nicola , was also very welcoming, helpful & friendly which made it a real pleasure eating there. The food was always hot, plentiful and nothing was too much trouble .
The hotel , pub & whole town /harbour area are very disabled , to get around if you have a mobility scooter like myself.
Looking forward to our next visit as it’s definitely one we’ll return to . Well recommended !
- corrinalparry (10/5): Reception staff were amazing and so friendly the room was massive and spotless the only downside was the taxi advice - We arrived and checked in no problem. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was massive and spotless the beds as always are amazing we had breakfast the following morning it was lovely everything was fresh and refilled quickly
The only downer was we asked for a taxi recommendation and we were told “Aleds” taxi and given a card, we were attending a 50th party at Caernarfon FC so we booked the taxi for 11.50pm it turned up at 12.05 it wasn’t Aled it was “huws” and they wanted to charge us £30!!!!! For a mile down the road we offered £20 as they knew we couldn’t walk we had children with us and we couldn’t have got another taxi so basically we were ripped off so avoid aleds taxi and huws taxi cos they will rip you off
- michaelbB9211NC (10/5): Our 6 day stay - Comfy clean room
Friendly co-operative staff
Good value and happy atmosphere
each day.
Dining room staff especially helpful
Jimu Sreemon Rachele the main ones on duty
- scottmS7684AC (10/5): Rachele and her team. Excellent 👌 - My team and I stay here every week and have done for the past couple of months. The warm welcome we receive from Rachele and her team is second to none. All the staff here are excellent and very accommodating especially with a group of builders.
Their patience and attention to detail when we stay here is excellent.
Rachele and the team we thank you for the warm welcome and friendly service.
See you all next week.

- stephenmL2591MF (8/5): Staff member Jenny goes the extra mile with service - Staff were pleasant and helpful, bar staff and breakfast staff were helpful and cheerful. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. What stood out was when we arrived we had a parking issue because we were in a new and valuable vehicle but this problem was solved by Jenny. She was helpful and efficient and everything a professional in the hospitality industry should aspire to, so, thank you premier inn and, especially, thank you Jenny.
- V412GGbrendang (10/5): Comfort, home from home. - I found the room to be very clean with everything that was needed to make our stay an enjoyable one. The breakfast was fantastic and you could eat as much as you liked, the fry was beautiful.
- slynch1967 (8/5): Working away - Will had to find a room for the night and we had a works van and jenny the manger was.very helpful we have to come back in new year so will be booking again
- deankirby2021 (10/5): Great Stay - I stayed at the hotel on and off for a few months with work the hotel is ideally located just off the A14 and ideal for accessing the SE or a visit into Cambridge. The accommodation has good rooms and is clean tidy and well presented with great parking facility's there are bus stops a short walk to allow easy access into Cambridge. The restaurant and menu are good with a decent choice of food options to cater for most needs the sea bass is especially good :) i stay in many premier inns all over the country and this is one of the better ones for one reason .... The Staff all the staff are helpful and friendly many thanks to all the staff for making my stay a pleasure especially Rachel, Screemon, Ada, Jinny , Allis Natasha Corina and Natalia
All keep up the good work
Many Thanks DK
- 507annemariet (10/5): Home from home 🏡 - I stayed due to building work at home in my own town. I require oxygen and needed to stay away whist my wetroom was being fitted out in my flat. So I really appreciated the wet room facilities at the hotel.
So it was really good to have helpful staff. That made me feel at home 🏡.
- joanwW2235DD (10/5): Lovely visit - Me and my husband stayed for a few days just to meet up with some friends we haven't seen in years in bury and everyone was just lovely. A lovely girl took our bag upstairs for us because the lift was broken which was nice and then we saw her again when we came for food, both her and the manager were very happy chatty girls and it's rare to see it these days and they even remembered us on check out as well. Thank you for such a nice stay, we'll be back soon
- Navigate587397 (10/5): A lovely stay in Cambridge - A really good hotel with excellent service. The room was spotless.
The Thyme restaurant had upgraded its menu and had very good choices.
- P2871YFsimong (10/5): A convenient stopping point for a short cultural visit to Cambridge. - The hotel was comfortable, warm, clean and convenient, with friendly and helpful staff, good on-site parking, good well-presented food and a welcoming atmosphere.
- R9780VHsimonb (10/5): Genuine place - Currently staying here now and I just want to say its such a nice thing to see people enjoying their work. Just come downstairs to 3 young ladies laughing and trying to put up Christmas decorations and they seemed to really enjoy being there, even let my help on the tree. Well done girls and keep up the good work
- H9443SOkareng (10/5): Lovely stay - The room was spotless and warm when I arrived. I booked my evening meal time so that it was sorted.
I am a coeliac and the staff were so attentive, everything was catered for and the staff couldn't have been more helpful both for my evening meal & breakfast.
I will definitely stay again when I am in the area.
- flor63 (10/5): Very good and renovated bedroom and bathroom, bus nearby and free parking - Excellent room , bathroom is newly renovated as well the bedroom. We had a delicious breakfast, parking is available a r no cost. Just register the car. Staff is very nice. We had Ada on check in and check out and she was lovely.
- karencY4910IG (10/5): Good stay over in a lovely town. - The hotel was in a great location for walking to the town and is by the harbour. Clean and tidy we had a large room and were greeted with a note from Sasha and Dolina which was a lovely touch. It's in the detail!
We had the food deal on the first night which made sense as the breakfast was effectively free.
One thing to point out......We arrived on a Sunday afternoon in November and nothing in town was open so we took advantage of the meal deal. If Top Table hadn't been there we might have gone without!
- G4436EZdavidh (2/5): Unpleasant. - Shockingly bad. No staff on reception. Very slow service at the bar. Could not seat a table of 5 in a largely empty restaurant at 8.10pm due to staff shortages. Staff were clearly up against it an expressed that by being frankly rude and unhelpful. Room was okay but had a child's bed in it that wasn't mentioned on my booking and took up unnecessary space. Access to the hotel is via a dark backstreet. Overall the very worst Premier Inn experience I've had.
- willwY62JW (10/5): Staff that make the hotel and they were just lovely. - Extremely pleasant staff made staying at this clean and comfortable hotel, ideal for touring North Wales, a pleasure.
- sarahtH481KT (8/5): Another fantastic stay - This is our fifth or sixth stay at this premiere inn. Love the location, right on the harbour and minutes walk away from Caenarfon. The staff are always friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable. The only issue we had this time was the lift was not working, so had to lug our bags up and down the steps. Just glad we were on the first floor... Having said that we will definately return.
- 387vincem (10/5): Beyond Hospitality - I had a wonderful stay here whilst with friends on a walking trip. The experience was made memorable by all of the staff who were welcoming and friendly. A special mention must go to Jen on reception whose hospitality skills are some of the best I've seen for many years. Nothing too much trouble and a smile and positive demeanour just made my stay all the more pleasurable. A packet of biscuits in my room with a thank you note for just being polite and jolly to her and her team. Thank you again Jen and look forward to returning again sometime soon. Well done!!!
- salsero244 (8/5): Good clean hotel; very good staff - Good clean hotel. Room was comfortable and staff were very good and helpful. Less good stuff - shower was a bit weak. The lift was broken - for us inconvenient but could cause accessibility issues. They didn't know when it was going to be prepared. Worst thing was parking - we had to use a pay car park across the road. It was near enough but why can't Premier Inn make some arrangement with the car park management to offer discounted rates or even free parking? It's not a luxury these days.
- A1508VUkatiec (8/5): Choose a room away from the tramline - We had a room facing the tram which was quite loud but other than that the hotel and staff are brilliant. The breakfast was plentiful. The bar was basic but had what enough to choose from. The check in was easy and checkout too and the late check out is brilliant! Only a 10 minute walk into bury town centre.
- InformalAlchemy (10/5): Excellent Premier Inn in North Wales. - We stayed for three nights over half term at this excellent Premier Inn. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They were very happy to accomodate our request for a couple of rooms close to each other. The location of the hotel was excellent, and while there was no parking at the hotel, the public parking was just across the road. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
- ryansO2830MP (10/5): Business stay - Very good stay
Staff very helpful especially Jinu, Sreemon,Rachelle and Natalia
Will definitely stay again at this hotel
- Z2191VIjackb (10/5): AMAZING MANAGER... - Rachele, sree, jinu have been fantastically accommodating in ALL of my requests. From arrival to check out it has been a seamless process. The efficiency of this hotel is paramount to the success of the wider group, thus the aforementioned employees. Will stay again, by choice.
- 638glennl (10/5): Great location . Careful with the parking. - Great location. Comfortable bed. Staff extremely helpful. Breakfast fantastic. Parking close by but
£7.70 for 24 hours a bit steep. Be aware pay using the app as I put cash in and it didn't give me a ticket.
- nickbV9900ZE (10/5): Great hotel - Once again a wonderful stay at this Premier Inn, easy to find when leaving the A14,. For those like us wanting to visit the beautifully city of Cambridge then the Milton Park and Ride is the next junction down on the A14. Also handy to where the rest of the family live. The rooms were good as usually and the breakfast as always lived up to good standards with plenty to select from. Though there was the odd few times when there was a few moments wait for fresh hot food to come out it was always topped up regularly. Top marks to the hotel, a hotel highly recommend and we will be back.
- AJSDeeping (10/5): Best reception team of any Premier Inn - The reception team were excellent, and so friendly.
Room was larger than usual.
Unfortunately I was ill. The reception people couldn't have been any kinder, or attentive. Would highly recommend
- Sdr2003 (2/5): Terrible night's sleep - Neighbouring room was loud and we were woken up at 7am with loud chatter, shouting, banging doors, talking in the corridors. Singing commenced at 8am and continued for about an hour. The room had also been partying the evening before. This is the first time I have heard noise from neighbouring rooms suggesting sound proofing is poor. The lifts were out of order for the duration of our stay. Shower lacked water pressure and toilet dripped constantly throughout the night. Not good value at all.
- claudiast (8/5): Convenient - We stayed here on our way to visit family and found the hotel very clean and with all the basics covered. Breakfast was the typical premium inn English breakfast and everything worked well
- chippy73 (8/5): Comfy bed, good food at a good price! - I usually have a good stay with Premier Inn and this was the case again.
I got the family room which was good and spacious, the bathroom is a bit dated with all the sealant around the floor cracked and coming away. That aside, the bed was comfortable with good pillows.
Breakfast was good with the usual fayre on offer, English breakfast had good sausage and bacon with fresh mushrooms. Cereals and fruit etc.
Evening meals were also good, but after a week I'd gone through the options that appealed, so long stays might need to venture out!
Evening meals generally need a table reservation, which we weren't aware of, as it can get busy quickly.
There's also a small bar which does the trick after a long day, disappointing there was no live football available though.
Staff were friendly and helpful with typical northern spirit 😃
- netty300 (10/5): Clean, comfortable and convenient - Easy access from Q park next door, reduced rate for premier inn customers pre booked with code £12 for 24 hours.
Friendly welcome. Room clean and comfortable. Very quiet. Handy for a trip to Bury, 5 mins walk to the market or to get a tram into Manchester.
- tracybE3086OZ (10/5): Fab stay - Gorgeous premier plus room. Great location. Ada on reception was especially kind and helpful.. an asset to the team. Would definitely stay here again
- 246rics (10/5): Great hotel with amazing staff! - I stay here quite regularly for work, the staff in the hotel and at the bar for breakfast are all very welcoming and friendly. On one occasion I unfortunately had to work away from home on my birthday while staying at this hotel. My partner rang ahead to inform them, the team very graciously left me a gift in my room. I can't sing their praises enough!
- markhY1796UO (10/5): Great hotel - Great experience. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were amazing.
The only downside was the Table Table restaurant, who were not very good at all. The food was sub-par and the staff were quite dismissive. A real shame considering the high quality of service provided by the premier inn.
- michaelbT7325MV (10/5): Exceptional - Jino was a excellent host very helpful very friendly made our stay went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable did an excellent pint
- seandE126HD (10/5): Excellent - Jino made our stay so comfortable she's lovely, bubbly a delight to talk to. Food was brilliant. Jino needs a pay rise. All staff polite and welcoming
- 986shabazs (10/5): Amazing - This place was an absolute gem! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding; the staff were incredibly friendly and professional and made us feel right at home . Especially Jinu she was amazing
- SDJ-G12 (10/5): Great service - Stayed a couple of nights at this hotel and was very pleased with the service. I asked for an extra pillow and was given one with no difficulties. There was a problem with the room and the front desk and maintenance staff were excellent in the way they handled the situation. You find out how good the service is when things go wrong and we found that the service was excellent.
- soniavbuk (6/5): Nice location but very hot stuffy bedroom - The good bits were the location by the Caernarfon harbour. You can walk to the Menai Straights waterfront in 2 mins. There are a few restaurants close by, and the historical town centre and castle are 10 mins walk away. Lots of parking on the other side of the road, which you pay for, so OK when it's dry but not so good when its raining. You can pull up outside the hotel to unload your car before checking in. The bed was comfy and the cleaner left a packet of jammy dodger biscuits in the room, which was very sweet.
The not so good was the room was boiling hot, the window opened a couple of inches due to the safety locks that have been put on the windows. It was not enough of a gap to get cool air into the room. The Bathroom was incredibly humid with bad ventilation, so it steamed up every time we used it and added to the temperature. The room needs to be able to open the window to help control the temperature and to bring fresh air into the room as it was very stuffy when we first checked in. It was noticeably cooler in the corridor for some reason. Two menopausal women sharing a twin room for 2 nights didn't sleep well as a result of the room being way too hot.
- Zoeyhp (2/5): Discriminatory experience - We stayed at Premier tnn Caernarfon on 15 October and visited reception at around 19:00 to ask a few questions before checking in. One of my questions was for restaurant recommendations for dinner. The receptionist on duty recommended only a Chinese restaurant, which I found surprising and inappropriate. I could not help but feel that this suggestion may have been made based on my appearance.
Later, my husband visited reception and asked the same question. He was given a wide range of recommendations covering several restaurants in the area.
We reported this the following morning, explaining that we felt it was a discriminatory experience. Unfortunately, the response was limited to a brief apology, and no further action appeared to be taken. Despite two managers being present at the time, neither showed any concern or willingness to listen.
Also, even though we had placed a DND sign on our door, the housekeeping staff attempted to enter the room in the morning, which woke us up and further added to our disappointment.
- NigelH360 (4/5): Only for those who do not use wi-if. - Whilst I find the hotel to be good value for money, clean, spacious and with good facilities I just cannot understand how a modern day hotel can be allowed to advertise a working wi-if when that is just not true. I stayed for 2 nights, the wi-fi did not work at all and when I mentioned this to the kind reception staff it became clear that this is a known problem which generates plenty of complaints. The staff very kindly ‘upgraded’ me to the ultimate wi-fi which, once again, does not work - not just a low signal or anything, just absolutely nothing whatsoever.
It’s just not acceptable on any level - we used the hotel as a group of 7 people who visit Cambridge annually.
We cannot now even think of returning here and will identify an alternative with wi-if - it will not be difficult. Overall such a shame really.
- stephenbR7126DD (10/5): Fantastic stay - Excellent service from Jenny and the team. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was also a lovely touch to receive a memorable welcome gift in my room on arrival. I look forward to my next stay!
- N7592X (10/5): Highly Recommend - Was there for two weeks due to a leak in my bedroom at home.
ALL the team were amazing and accommodated every request I asked for including ice each night (you know who you are 😉) and moving me to another room when I had problems with the person in the room next door to me.
I could not recommend more for the fantastic hospitality shown to me. Great team.
Free WiFi needs work but apart from that, I had a great stay.
Great team. Thank you, all of you 😃
- Flyer820968 (10/5): Lovely place - The staff here are all lovely, and were really kind when the car broke down and we were waiting for the RAC outside the hotel, with Danny offering us a cuppa - thank you so much. Nicola was fabulous at breakfast, as always.
- BPB07 (8/5): No reservations... - Excellent hotel in the perfect location. Great value for money; warm, welcoming and professional colleagues; spacious, clean and tidy room; and the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in!
- annmarieo730 (10/5): Lovely stay in Bury - We'd a lovely 4 night stay in Bury in October 2025; staff very helpful and friendly, rooms clean and comfy, restaurant food delicious. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Happy to recommend!
- Coffeee_cup (6/5): Standard premier, but missing a trick - Arrival was simple enough. Self check in on a machine. The room was presented in a standard premier style. Clean. Simple. Everything needed. Where the disappointment came was amenities/female care….
What really disappointed me was that unfortunately my monthly cycle appeared early and I wasn’t prepared. It was gone midnight and I went to the front desk as no shops would be open. I found out that whilst the men’s toilets essentially have a ‘sex shop’ available… the women’s have nothing. No sanitary options to purchase. Luckily one of the ladies had a sanitary towel of her own and gave that to me which I was hugely thankful for. But considering the company is headed up by many a female… it would be nice to see that as we already have enough to contend with in life, some simple sanitary help for us would be nice in in times of need.
- W8211QXoliverg (2/5): Second Rate Citizens - On one side of the hotel rooms are really noisy due to train track (need triple glacing). General service appalling the hotel had taken a large booking 50+ and all the rest of the guests were treated like second class citizens even though paid our way. Couldn`t eat breakfast at prime times, no access to restaurant etc no prior knowledge. On day two told 7am breakfast (Sunday) or no breakfast even though had paid in advance. Apalling policies and info. Hotel also needs a deep clean from top to bottom.
- Voyager778433 (2/5): Horrible!!!! - Had a horrible 2 days here.. originally booked in for 2 weeks.
The bed was nice the only thing.. the carpet was suspect all felt dirty
I asked for a shower cubicle as can’t make it over a bath but to be told no we don’t do those.. the bathroom btw looked like it was in need of a good deep clean and revamp!!!
On giving the keys back I was told oh we don’t do those rooms with just showers too late tho I had moved into a much superior hotel!!
Never ever will I used this hotel again!!!!!
- chrisbuxton72 (2/5): What a crap hole - The place is filthy. The rooms are grubby and if there are more than 3 tables in the restaurant with people then they are too busy to take any more. Trains are really noisy next to the rooms and the staff are useless
- 339antonyg (2/5): Will not be returning - Rooms on the top floor suffer from the vibration and noise of the AC units or whatever other infrastructure is on the roof. First room was unbelievably bad - would have been impossible to sleep. Switched to the only other room available - sadly also on the top floor, but just manageable with ear plugs. Throughout the interior is tired and in desperate need of at least a deep clean and paint.
- Q8170TYelainew (6/5): Alright stay wouldn't return - The hotel looks fairly new and modern however it couls do with abit of a refurb inside.
Check in was good as we used the machine although had to ask for room cards.
Bathrooms could do with a deep clean and bedrooms need a paint and upgrade.
Still has the old lighting and decor.
- Skieusedebutante (10/5): Exceeded expectations - Staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Really nice restaurant with lovely staff.
I was wary about booking after reading some negative reviews so it was very nice to discover how lovely everything was.
- johnrR3766BT (6/5): Stay is good, restaurant staff needs training - Stayed at Premier Inn Manchester Bury on 23rd August, the reception staff, security, night staff was very helpful and professional it is only during breakfast around 10 a.m. a blonde waitress loudly reprimanded us over an accidental touch to a crumpet because the spatula wasn’t visible and later even she had all energy focused on us and our activities, felt a bit singled out- guest feedback is a delicate matter and should not be explicit & loud and direct, it is not what is said, it is how it is said. The tone and manner made us feel embarrassed. We would defiantly never think of selecting the restaurant.
Management should check the rota for this date and time and train staff to handle such situations discreetly.
- samanthacS2083OD (10/5): Good time solo - So I was supposed to come here with a partner but we split up. But I decided to come solo. Staff were incredible. Linda checked me in and she was amazing doing both reception and bar. And Joanne was amazing too serving me drinks before 12pm and she has such a bubbley attitude. Loved that. Vibes were great. Darryl served me at dinner and he was very prompt with my requests. So overall staff were great. Only thing I would say is I was woken up at 6.30am because of construction and then again at 7.15. that was annoying but it still had a good time thanks team.
- L3228GTdarrenb (10/5): Brilliant - Had an amazing stay. Exceptional service from Sandra and Harley and kept bar open for us. Got extra pillows on request. Thanks!! :)
- Stevros1979 (10/5): Excellent stay due to bar ladies - Stayed at bury premier inn on 6/8 and had a brilliant stay. Cant wait to be back mainly because of Harley and Sandra's hospitality. Thanks a million.
