Guest Reviews
- Sjc997 (6/5): Premier inn - Standard - Good location to the motorway, staff friendly, slightly noisy from other rooms and a smell of damp (reported to the receptionist who stated she knew!). Conversely, cheap, comfortable and has a beefeater on site. Free parking is always an advantage.
- laylaw390 (10/5): Lovely clean room - Clean and professional. Staff were lovely and very polite. Especially the young lady called Liv. Room was clean and cozy.
- jamese941 (4/5): Worth looking around for alternatives - Currently, not a great experience. Rooms tired and dirty in places, hotel lacking any atmosphere. Beds are comfy though.
- margaretjM2252CF (10/5): Thankful - Myself and my wife stayed with you last week
After a awful day at a funeral we were greeted by helen on reception who made us feel so comfortable she cared about us and how awful our day had been
The restaurant didn’t seem busy but the girl didn’t stop
Hats off to them both for making our day end a lot better than it started
We will definitely be back.
- 76ricor (10/5): Welsh choirs concert in havant - I am writing this mail as we have just come home from a choir concert In havant, and stayed in premier hotel in havant.i have to say that the hotel was perfect,we were made most welcome by your staff, room was perfect.when we went for breakfast were again met by the door by our waitress who made us welcome and gave us outstanding service and attention ,her name was "LIV".and can I also say the breakfast was outstanding, the chefs,"Barry, and Liam did an outstanding job.
- L867WSmichaelp (10/5): We are a Welsh male voice choir visiting Havant for a concert - On arrival the ladies at the reception Vicky,Sam and Yvette were very helpful and kurtious booking everyone on the coach in without any issues. Emma welcomed everyone into the dining room with a big smile showing everyone where everything was.Barry,Liam and Darian were great making sure the food was prepared and of a very high quality. I would recommend the Premier Inn Havant and their great staff to anyone visiting this area
- annabO9474DY (10/5): Stay with Treharris MVC - Lovely hotel to host the Treharris Male Voice Choir for the weekend. Brilliant location, very clean hotel & superb staff. Thanks to Vicky, Sam, Yvette, Liv, Jess, Barry, Liam, Damien. And a special thanks to Emma, the brilliant manager.
- angelafarrance (10/5): Great nights sleep - Stayed last night after an evening out. I was given a room on 3rd floor which has been refurbished. It was so nice, very spacious, comfy bed, super clean, had a really good nights sleep, didn’t have breakfast, but there is a restaurant downstairs. Perfect for an overnight stay, added bonus of air con as hotel rooms do get hot so it was great.
- 706rosiec (2/5): Disgusting - Avoid, possibly the worse Premier Inn in the country our room smelt of urine and there were several issues with cleanliness from visible cobwebs, marks to wall/flooring and a room conditioning unit which was filthy with visible dirt/dust. A complete hazard to health. We would have left immediately but we checked in very late after a 6hr journey- checked into the Holiday Inn the next day.
- carlosdav1986 (10/5): Highly recommend - Great food, breakfast was really nice great price the waitress couldn't do enough for us. I would definitely recommend.
- K11MLianm (10/5): Great service - We stayed with you last week…
On arrival (it was late) and the restaurant had closed for food,,
The receptionist was very lovely and helped us order some food to be delivered nothing was too much trouble she even gave our child some sweets from out the back
She was one of the nicest receptionist’s we have ever had encountered so thank
You helen

- 125maddiee (8/5): Poor restaurant closing times - No clear instructions on where to park and once I found a space behind the restaurant and walked back to the hotel the machine in the lobby to enter your registration wasn't working, after spending time finding a parking space and then checking in the restaurant had finished serving 9.15 pm so unable to get an evening meal.
I ordered a drink as I'd been driving all day sat down to see if I could order a food delivery locally.
I was then told the bar was closing and that I could take my drink to my room 10.00pm.
The room was nice and clean but a little cold for my liking, I didn't order food to be delivered as there was no phone in the room to let me know when it had arrived, so went to bed.
There are no charger usb ports or pads in the room so I was unable to charge my phone for the next day so resulted in having to switch off my phone to conserve the remaining battery charge.
Had a great night's sleep, and went down for breakfast, the restaurant is across the small access road and down steps it's also uncovered so if it's raining you will get wet.
The breakfast was the usual premier inn affair, so quite happy.
I returned to my room and got ready for my days activities.
To be honest I wouldn't use this site again due to the restaurant restrictions I usually arrive a little earlier but in this instance the fact I was looking forward to my meal after such a long trip spoiled my experience
- Kazcan71 (10/5): Comfortable - Lovely clean room with comfortable beds as usual. Easy to get to and quiet at night. Good to have free parking. Breakfast had plenty of choice.
- P9672AVrobertg (2/5): Worst Premier Inn Experience to Date - Unhelpful staff, cold food, dirty tables, unable to get hold of anyone.
We regularly stay at Premier Inns for business purposes. This has to be the worst one to date.
- Laferme370 (2/5): Yuk! - It is old, dirty and a let down to the brand. It needs a MAJOR renovation. There are many other Premier Inns in the area, in much better condition.
- mbt205b (2/5): Don't stay at this Premier Inn - nothing Premier about it! - The check in was protected and we were not able to have a key card. The room was basic, not even a glass. The air con unit was filthy, the room and bathroom had dubious marks and stains. The toilet was amatauned, and the whole room felt dirty. We packed up and left early and the staff didn't ask why. We moved to the Holiday Inn Express, which was perfect and cheaper!
- BobBeckley (6/5): Not the best Premier Inn experience - Up to the usual standard but there were some issues: only one towel provided in a double room for two guests, long queues at breakfast, the food kept running out and not enough cups. They forgot that the clocks had gone back so we were locked out of our room at 11:00 am.
- catherinekR1097GU (10/5): plesant and comfy stay near family and friends - we came over from Dublin for family funeral in Hastings it was so handy and close to crematorium and family really good and comfortable.
- Odyssey741111 (10/5): Great food, even better staff! - Always love this place in terms of food! Great all you can eat brekkie, always hot, always tasty! Lunch too, great selection of foods to fill your stomach. Highlight of every visit is the staff, so kind, helpful, chatty and smiley!
- Paradise37292 (10/5): Weekend stay for a nephew's wedding - A good quality stay in line with Premier Inn's standards for rooms welcome helpfulness of staff ease of check in and out cleanliness and value.Brewers Fayre very adequate for breakfast and dinner
- 735stuarth (8/5): Great Location But Room Spoiled by Recent Refurbishment. - The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect for us: It is just off the A21 and next door to a huge Sainsbury's. We were able to access Hastings seafront within about 10 minutes' drive. The free (to hotel guests) car park always had spare spaces - and, besides, there is also an overflow area as well. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the free Wi-Fi worked well enough for virtually the whole time we were there (a little slow at peak times). We were given an absolutely HUGE room upon the third floor. We stay at Premier Inns a lot, and this was the largest we had ever had. Unfortunately, it had recently been refurbished and this had resulted in the removal of the usual work desk and reading lamp. Instead, there was only one very small, round table and one small chair. Also, despite the generous proportions of the room, there was little space for clothes, etc. This forced us to "live out of our suitcases" (so to speak). So, dear Premier Inn, "Please un-refurbish!!". We want a work desk (as advertised) and space for clothes!
- terenceg376 (6/5): Visiting family - We stayed here for a couple nights, location was good for us. The restaurant next door was as you’d expect, we had breakfast which was pretty good. The only downside to this hotel is the lack of attention to the hotel itself, shower curtain starting to smell damp which is very noticeable, also we stayed on the ground floor and at night you can notice a lot of noise from the room above, Most modern premier inns don’t have this issue anymore, it can certainly do with some modernisation. The cleaner must of worked half a day a lot of cob webs in the room and a couple spiders in the corners.
- P7135MUsuew (8/5): Disappointing provision for disabled guests in otherwise convenient hotel - Lots of free parking, good food, friendly staff, comfortable bed but small bathroom. I booked well in advance to get an accessible room with a wetroom but it wasn't possible as there is only one wetroom in a hotel with 95 rooms. There are four acessible rooms with baths on the ground floor. Most disabled people I know cannot use a bath so why this 5:1 ratio? I reluctantly accepted a room with a walk-in shower but it was a long walk from the lift . It would have been safer and more convenient with the addition of two hand rails in the bathroom. The restaurant had a level-access area and there were signs on the table giving priority to elderly and disabled guests. Unfortunately, the signs were so small, and often hidden behind menus, so able-bodied guests were using them, unaware of the inconvenience they were causing guests with walking limitations.
- R6101TUmalcolmh (4/5): The hotel and staff were good. - This is Malcolm Haywood,
I arrived around 19.00 on 12/09/2025 for two nights and after booking in at reception I was told to park my car down the hill which I did for both nights.
Earlier the week I received a message saying that I was to pay 100 pounds for a parking fine at the hotel.
As above I was told to park down the hill near the restaurant understanding that parking was free.
I would be grateful if this matter could be looked into and resolved.
Thanks
Malcolm.
- Steveheggs72 (8/5): An enjoyable stay that could have been better - Great location for visiting the Hastings area, Lots of secure parking with very helpful and friendly staff.
The room size was good but cleanliness could have been better
- stevedS2318EI (10/5): Above expectations! - Yvette ,the very welcoming and polite receptionist greeted me in a way that made me feel valued. As I commuted from London during the tube strike and was running late for dinner and she contacted the hotel restaurant and ensured that I would be served dinner, and yes I was hungry after driving 2h+ in my car. Yvette is a prime example of what outstanding customer service delivery is, the pleasant stay and experience was above my expectations.Would recommend
- U6837WDchrish (4/5): Poor Disability Services - Hotel was dark felt tired. Accessible facilities were poor. Bed and room was small and bed too low down, low level bath was unsafe for my level of disability
- T9768VFwilliamd (10/5): A friendly environment - Very friendly staff and very helpful, and only willing to help with local knowledge and advice, restaurant was OK for evening meals and drinks
- colinw467 (10/5): Very neat and tidy - Very clean modern room one of the best we have stayed in, the man on reception when we arrived was very pleasant too. Top tip do not eat in adjoining resturant its dirty and awful food
- Jet12125003902 (8/5): Great mattresses but shame about pillows which is equally important . - Very nice staff recently refurbished room so no problem there. The extra pillows were the same as on the bed so not happy with the pillows shame as mattress very comfortable shame they take away suitcase thingy as iv a bad back and had to use the bed .the windows next to reception are not nice to look at but it's down to restaurant i think but it let down the appearance when arriving maybe more flowers ect would improve 1st appearance.overall good
- Gemstone8312 (8/5): One of the nicest Premier Plus rooms we’ve had!! - Just had an overnight stay at PI Hastings, on our way to a family wedding.
We booked a Premier Plus room and it was one of the nicest we have stayed in. Everything looked lovely and new, clean and fresh. Bathroom was spotless. We had plenty of room and it was quiet overnight.
We booked the ‘meal deal’ and ate in the Brewers Fayre on site. It was a bit confusing when we first arrived as we weren’t sure where we were supposed to go. But we were pointed in the right direction and ended up having a great meal. Service, food and pricing were excellent. Breakfast was also good in the morning.
Would definitely recommend this PI if you need a comfy bed for the night. If we are ever back in Hastings, we will surely stay again.
- steph_willows (8/5): Enjoyable stay - Used this hotel as its only short drive to the ferry terminal.
Receptionist was helpful and friendly when checking in. Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant staff work so hard. Jess was rushed off her feet.Working the bar, taking orders, bringing food out all by herself! Liam was the chef and on his own too. There was a wait for the food but once it came out it was spot on. We all enjoyed our meals. Jess was very apologetic for the wait but it wasn’t her fault or the chef. Breakfast was ok,not a great deal of choice for the continental breakfast.
A lovely stay but restaurant needs more staff.
- Mark0751 (4/5): Bad location, bad restaurant - The hotel is fairly close to the motorway with good links to Portsmouth and the South East, making it a convenient place to stop. However, even with the windows shut you can still hear the traffic.
There is nothing within walking distance and even the closest pubs or restaurants are a 10 minute drive, meaning you are forced to eat in the hotel restaurant.
The restaurant has a very limited menu, is run down with poor service and absolutely no atmosphere despite the captive audience. All the food is either deep fried or slung in the microwave.
If you need to stay in the Havant area go to the Permier Inn Havant South hotel instead and avoid this one if possible.
- Jwl464646 (8/5): Great - This Hotel is very good for visiting Hastings. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant next door is fine for a quick evening meal and drink. Again the staff make the restaurant especially Emma who goes above and beyond what you would expect in a brewers fayre.
- N2591AQnoaha (10/5): Very nice restaurant - I come here a lot because if the restaurant they have here and even though it's kinda basic it's great. Their breakfast food is q classic English breakfast and it's a buffet so you can get food for free
- nick1of2 (6/5): Could do better - Comfortable Premier Plus Room. Charged an extra £17.00 for amending my booking to one day earlier. Outside of hotel is scruffy. Battered doors leading to the restaurant. No hot water for morning shower. Apparently something to do with roadworks. did not eat at the restaurant. There is a Mc D's nearby if that suits you.
- Marigold1309 (10/5): A good hotel though it is a long way from the town centre and train station. - Friends and family have stayed here for various reasons as it is a good deal for room and meal service, however this needs a bus trip or car journey to town, though a restaurant and bar is available for the times one stays here. Would come again as there are some good things to have here.
- roselinap2024 (10/5): A bit far from the town centre hotel but good quiet rooms and a meal service place. - Have had a few good times here though this hotel is right out of the way of the town centre and definitely is a bus or a car journey away, however they have quiet rooms and a good meal service for both mornings and evenings. Would come here again as it is a popular place for a stay.
- Garythack (8/5): Clean hotel nice food Great staff - Nice clean hotel
Brewers Fayre attached
Hotel and staff lovely
Got a meal deal absolutely a bargain
Food good Piping hot and good portions
However too many feral brats allowed to run wild around the restaurant with parents who clearly didn't care
Not the pubs fault but did spoil our dinner
- 861rickf (6/5): Disappeared - Very comfy bed although pubic hairs on bed sheets, poor standard and selection of food at breakfast for an all you can eat breakfast.
