• 230gareths (10/5): Superb staff - We were met by friendly reception staff which is always a pleasant start, the room was typical premier inn good standard, the bathroom looked a little tired but nothing to complain or even be bothered about, the meal deal was excellent value for dinner and breakfast, we were waited on by Gemma, who was excellent, happy, friendly and efficient a real shining example for premier inn. From premier inn, I know what I expect and this one exceeded due to the staff. Thank you

• ohdearohdear1 (10/5): After a nightmare journey home - the service we experienced here was exemplary! - We had booked this before going home after an arduous trip back from holiday, planning to have a lovely meal and great breakfast before going our separate ways to finish our holiday. We had been awake for some 40 hours, with no food, having both been sick on the flights back, the car wouldn’t start when we collected from valet parking and we were both totally exhausted. The manager (Robert) gave us some toast to our room, as we couldn’t face dinner, we had the best night’s sleep - 12 hours straight- and more toast in the morning - free of charge. Car wouldn’t start he tried to get us some jump leads but no-one had any, but we got the shuttle bus back to Valet parking. He waived the parking fee for us too. He made such a difference to our holiday - so although we have stayed in fancier hotels, we cannot praise him enough for helping us as he did. 5 stars go to Premier Inn and Robert for his kindness.
• Foodyyum12 (2/5): Not happy. - Room smelt musky, the bathroom smelt of urine..the toilet seat had urine marks on it and had to clean it myself. I got charged £14.59 for a plain burger! So they charged me for cheese, bacon and chips I never had .. when I mentioned it the waitress came back and said .. We can only take money off for the chips you never had that's all we can do... Really!!!.. what a load of crap. I got woken up by 3 loud guys outside smoking and all wrapped up in the white hotel quilts.. ! What hotel allows you to take your quilts outside?? I have put in my complaints and will update here the outcome. The check in lady was great ... But other staff seemed to spend their time chatting and I had to find them to ask for a hot chocolate during breakfast.. when they should have shown us were the drinks were .
• davidmY6245QM (2/5): Terrible manager with Terrible attitude. - Once again I have write another bad review about this hotel. This is second time I have been really badly treated here. So it isnt just a coincidence. We were trying to book in on Saturday night but the staff were telling us we were booked into the Premier inn at St Enochs. This reference number had already seen the rest of our party get their rooms. But we were assured that we were booked into St Enochs. So we got a taxi to the other hotel, only to be told that we were definitely booked into the Gorbals branch. So got a taxi back and again the same outcome. Obviously by this stage we were quite annoyed. So now comes along the manager, who from the outset had a terrible attitude. It ended up with him refusing us into the hotel, as he was offended. So do yourself a favour and stay well clear of this branch of the Premier inn. By the way, the lady dealing with us at St Enoch's branch, was excellent.

• Pinches123 (2/5): Shocking for a premier. - The worst premier inn we have stayed at and we stay often. The room was ok, the staff were excellent as they always are in premier hotels. The breakfast restaurant had people with tops off ie kids and an adult who were serving themselves. There was also the same family in pyjamas. This is a health hazard with potential sweat dripping onto food as well as body hair. We paid for a breakfast with our stay and ended up eating nothing. We was glad as the food looked overcooked and everything we saw ie bread was stale. Won't be returning. We would like our money back for the breakfast we didn't receive.
• H5182CHmarkh (4/5): Not the cleanest - Quite short walk to gatwick north terminal. Self checkin. Room looked ok until spotted residue of white liquid on curtain. So checked... Shets and pillowcase had crud on them. Toilet and shower build up of gunk resulting from repeated poor cleaning. Too tired and no time to go reception. Good night guarentee... have to report problem to reception In morning no recetion staff around to report problem to and a plane to catch. Shocker !!! Ill give premier inn a miss next time!
• D1144KZjeremyh (8/5): Short break in Glasgow - This hotel is convenient as it is approximately 15 mins walk from the city centre. It has excellent parking which costs £9 a day, but that's par for the course nowadays. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of room. We did have an evening meal but breakfast was good with plenty of choice. We would definitely stop there again.
• ljbroccoli (4/5): Great room, awful customer service - Room was great, customer service was less than average. No one looked like they wanted to be there. Not helpful at all and didn’t even smile at you when you walk into the hotel! Not helpful whatsoever and were rude.

• Coc0o99 (10/5): Overnight and breakfast - I recently stayed at this hotel and had a really nice experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short stay. I also opted for breakfast and was a good start to the day, plenty of choice and everything tasted fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Overall, a solid and pleasant stay. Would happily book again.

• whereisany (2/5): Cleanliness issues and insect found during stay - I stayed at the Premier Inn Glasgow City Centre South for 3 nights. Unfortunately, I found an insect on my bed on the second night, which could possibly have been a bedbug (photo attached). There was no suitable alternative room available at the time, but the team was very friendly and provided fresh bed linen. Overall cleanliness was below expectations. Staff throughout my stay were kind and helpful, but the cleanliness issues and the incident significantly affected the quality of my stay.

• A4782UCcatherineh (10/5): Would go back - Great location for access to city centre, transport links and supermarket just round the corner. Friendly staff team, quick and easy check in - also plenty of car parking. Family room was everything needed and buffet breakfast set us up for the day.
• loiner-bloke (6/5): Average for a premier inn - Hotel is nice and close to glasgow centre , but you have to pay for parking £9 guest rate for 24 hours should be included in price of stay to be honest ?? Operated by horizon parking , plenty of spaces available but no security on either entering or leaving , so what is the payment for ????? Room was nice and clean with comfy beds . Had to ask for extra towels and pillows but that wasnt a problem Very quiet room to be fair was facing busy road but didnt hear any noise and the blackout curtains made a huge difference Very major negative about this hotel is the breakfast bar . Mega small for the size of hotel. Had to queue in morning for a table for family of 4 and 1 of the mornings had to have 2 seperate tables Also food dishes empty most of time. Constantly had 2 ask if there was any more food available , bacon eggs etc . No clean cups avaulable again had to ask for some Not enough choce on the continental side of the breakfast. Just croissants and nothing else Overall wouldnt stop here again due to parking costs and especislly the fiasco at breakfast times Felt sorry for the staff in running around non stop Simply not enough staff for the size of hotel

• davidrP7130PO (10/5): Plus is Plus - The new Premier Plus rooms are a step above the older style. Fresh feeling and loved the wireless charger beside the bed. But the small other extras like a coffee machine and fridge make such a big difference
• flytrap55 (6/5): Met our basic needs - We stayed here for a night before our holiday from Gatwick. Check-in was ok, but only because a staff member was on hand to help with self service check-in. The car parking was plentiful, but the charge is criminal. A charge of £25 for the night?! Its cheaper at Heathrow hotels and they offer more. The extractor fan in our bathroom never stopped, even after the lights had been turned off, making the bathroom freezing. We had dinner the night before, and I felt for our poor server, Bernando. He was literally left to cover the biggest area, with little to no help. He was rushing around trying to cover many orders and clear tables, I noticed 3 women behind the bar. One was doing drinks and other two were joking and talking. No evidence of teamwork or support for each other. We didn't have breakfast, as we had to leave before you started serving.
• Sandyfeet86 (8/5): Pretty good mid-range hotel - A pretty good choice for a mid range / value for money hotel. Very convenient and close to Gatwick North Terminal (shuttle bus or it's less than a 10 minute walk), and only a short monorail trip from South Terminal
• davidhW4561PQ (4/5): Food was tasteless - Food was terrible the ""chef needs to learn how to cook a steak ,it was very bland no seasoning and no mustard was available. Could have got something more tastier at the shell garage next door
• kerrymc17 (10/5): Great Staff - We stayed here the night before going on holiday. The hotel is a great location if travelling from the north terminal, literally a 5 minute walk. All of the staff were so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was great, so fresh and plenty of it. Would definitely recommend this hotel
• wiroju (6/5): OK, did the job - Very convenient for an early flight to Orlando the next morning. The hotel felt slightly worn and had a strange musty odour to the room. Our server at dinner was very friendly, mostly made up for the quality of the food. Whilst we appreciate its a constantly busy hotel due to flights it was pretty loud, we could hear our neighbours above and to the side which kept us awake. Overall, would book again for an early flight with the knowledge this is far from the premier inn quality we are used to.
• P8932VWrickyt (10/5): Perfect service and perfect for North terminal - At the end of the day it is a Premier Inn so when it comes to the food, if you are expecting fine dining well that is poor judgement on your part. The service though is amazing! The staff are so friendly, particularly if you have a young family!! Thank you so much to Karina for making my young girls Maya and Katie feel like A Listers in a very busy restaurant!! The hotel is a 5 minute walk from North Terminal, the room is clean and tidy and the bed is comfortable. Will 100% book again if ever flying from North terminal in the future
• pedalrog2018 (10/5): Premier Inn, Glasgow South - I was very impressed with this Premier Inn. The staff on reception were great, very helpful, the room was spacious, clean, at the front but there was no road noise. The bathroom was also large and clean, everything there that we needed. Accommodation very reasonably priced. We also ate in the restaurant, these can sometimes be hit and miss, however, this one was excellent. Very good food, the staff were friendly and attentive, spotted when my drink was finished and asked if I wanted another (this always gains brownie points for the staff). Great value, we had the evening "meal deal". The only bad point was that the beer choice was poor, no real ale, the nearest to it was Doombar that I don't rate at all. The Guiness was good though and the man who poured it knew how to do it properly! So, full marks to Premier Inn, breakfast thrown in as well, I will be back here!

Our room was modern clean and fresh relaxing with no noise levels from outside . The bed was amazing and we had a restful sleep during our stay. We will return at some point and I would recommend this premier Inn
• bellawest1 (2/5): Avoid!! - This hotel was a huge disappointment after being a fan of Premier Inns. The rooms are grubby and really uncomfortably hot.,at one stage 28 degrees with only an inadequate fan to cool. We did open a window but had to close it due to noise thought the night v under the window. The restraunt was dirty with uncleared sticky tables and we had to put up with foul mouthed loud men who the staff just laughed at whilst we were in the bar and families were in the restaurant area. We asked for a glass for a bottle of wine we bought (4 of us) to be told they only had 3 glasses. The staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. The break fast was mediocre. The whole experience was depressing and there’s no way we would recommend anyone staying at this hotel.

• alex936 (8/5): Clean and comfortable - Room was very basic but clean . Not much space for hanging clothes . No drawers to put underwear ect or storing t shirts . Ok for couple days as didn’t have a lot of clothes with us Bathroom very nice and spotless We had meal deal which we thought was a good price Went for evening meal lots on menu no longer available so we felt limited to what we could choose . We had starter main and desert Starter of soup and prawn cocktail took 40 minutes to arrive .. Steak pie was burnt on top but my hubby said filling was nice I had scampi it was nice Breakfast however was a let down we went at 8 thinking food would be hot and fresh and although fresh it was Luke warm mushrooms and tomato were tasteless and cold . Real let down . The staff were really nice and helpful and friendly I would stay again but just not have the food
• Spiffy69 (4/5): Average at very best. - Clean enough. Understaffed or staff were constantly elsewhere. Food was appalling. Ordered a steak and chips and the steak came out grey and mostly fat. Breakfast was all overcooked and almost inedible. Hotel is overpriced for what it offers and I'd only stay here again if I had no choice.
• 419leannef (10/5): Best priemer inn hotel best manager and staff! 5 stars!!! 😁 - Me and my partner have been staying at this hotel for 2 month's now and have come across some not so good issues throughout our stay at this hotel as soon as we have reported them on all 3 occasions 1st problem was resolved in a matter of minutes by staff member Andy who is a very polite gentleman and greets guests with a smile 24 7 top man. We had a few issues with some stuff in our room and when the issue couldn't be resolved wonderful smiling receptionist Tatiana is always on hand and goes out of her way everytime to help resolve the issue to the best of her knowledge and ability well done Tatiana top lady. When you need a hand at night or if you have any issues throughout the night you have always got the wonderful well spoken gentlemen himself A.J is always at hand to help you with any issues you may have throughout the night well done A.J top man thankyou for doing a grand job and keeping your guests safe why they capture their Z Z Z Z Z Zs. Me and my partner are night workers so when it comes to having house keeping and room clean this can be a challenging time for us as we can only get the house keeper in our room at the weekend due to being night workers and everytime we need our room cleaned house keeper/receptionist Lou is on top form and is a pleasure to have as a staff member at priemer inn hotels and sets a fantastic example to the priemer inn hotels and hotel industry 10/10 for staff member Lou lovely lady we love you Lou. And lastly not forgetting the biggest Most important lady of all the one and only person who makes this hotel a pleasure for the guests to come to every time and it's not the easiest job being a manager in any industry it can certainly be a challenging time but not for this lady who makes being a manager look easy and gets her job done and keeps her staff and guests happy and gets through her working day with flying colours and nothing ever seems too much trouble for her when you stay at this priemer inn hotel and no one is as amazing as they are and greet the customers like they do on your check ins and bid you your farewells on your departures from the hotel the one and only biggest most important member of staff the wonderful lady/manager herself Shelley who knows how to make a hotel a pleasure to come to and makes you feel at home well done Shelley 10/10 for you you are the best manager ever well done and thankyou for being you.
• ianmJ9177LX (10/5): Overnight stay - I had booked the room for a one night stay so I could spend some time to sort out some family matters in the area. Check in was done online but the gentleman that booked me in was nice and friendly. In the morning for check out I recognised that Lou had served me on a previous visit and she was lovely and asked how things were going as she had remembered the conversation from a couple of months ago. This showed great customer service as I was no doubt just one of hundreds of people that she had interacted with since the last visit. Well done Lou, and thank you.

• Kevimac (8/5): Exceptional Comfort a quick walk from town - The hotel is just a short walk from the city centre, with plenty of parking and excellent staff. The bedroom was a new style but the bed had the usual Premier inn reliably comfortable bed. But no fridge in the room, and it was missing a set of towels for one of our party. However, the night staff supplied these promptly when informed. Otherwise, this was a perfect stay.

• 250dazm (10/5): Perfect stay - Stayed for 1 night Fri 8th August as we were attending an event at Gillingham Golf Club. Hotel was perfect location as it was only a 5 minutes walk away. Early check in was nice and easy with a super friendly and helpful member of staff. Fan supplied in the room was much needed and free onsite parking was also a bonus.
• 381stephene (10/5): Does what it says… - Not the best Premier Inn I’ve stayed at as no aircon. The staff were top notch as usual! Tetania, Andy and the rest of the reception staff were excellent! Always friendly and asking how my day went! Lucy in the restaurant attached was great. She had everything under control when we visited. The only down side was the food wasn’t the best, but it did the trick. All in all if I had to stay again, I would!

• ianrD4273KG (4/5): doesn't live up to their guarantee - staff extremely friendly and very helpful. Room exactly what you expect from a Premier Inn. Food and drinks to help relax unavailable after 22:00 so for any guests arriving late after a long journey not very many opportunities to relax. Vending machines have small selection, overpriced and the food machine was not working. AC not working in room so windows open, noisy fan and extremely noisy neighbourhood doe NOT guarantee a good night sleep, if any sleep at all
• MrsTHallett (10/5): Excellent & welcoming - We have stayed here several times for a 3 night then 7 night and now a 9 night stay. Lou and the team have gone above and beyond in their welcome, helpfulness and ensuring we feel valued. The hotel yes has no air-con, but we had a fan in our room but this did not distract from our stays. Would not hesitate to recommend Premier Inn Gillingham. Thank you to everyone on the team buy especially Lou for making our stays so enjoyable.

• M3703BDdenisep (2/5): Bed bugs-avoid - We booked this room for one of our potential employees to stay at whilst training. He had to move room mid stay due to an infestation of bed bugs. We have tried to contact premier inn regarding this but are still waiting for a response.
• 608micheled (6/5): Okay, but could have been better. - This premier inn was ideally located for our travel purposes and the beds were extremely comfortable. On the downside however there was no air-conditioning which in this day and age there really should be as this made the room very warm and stuffy which was not conducive to a good nights sleep. Fixed shower heads are also a no no for us girls. Fix these two issues and it would have been a very comfortable stay.
• P4392AZlisad (6/5): Nice hotel but no air con ! - room was clean and comfortable but do not go if it is going to be hot as no aircon and rooms where so hot. Also guttering outside of room 10 is gone so thunderous rain on the path outside didnt make a good nights sleep.
