- bikesteve (8/5): A great location and the normal Premier inn standard. - Another good stay at this hotel. An ideal location and a very comfy bed. Just starting to show signs that's it need a refresh. The standard of cleaning could be a little better. All of this did not affect our great stay.
- DinerHappy (8/5): Premier Inn Peterborough North - Everything was as expected. Comfortable but not luxurious. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Staff were friendly. No drama.

- secretshopperatlarge (4/5): Dissapointing - Worst premier inn i have ever stayed at.
I stay in premier inns 4 nights a week for about 48 weeks a year and this place is something else.
Checked in at 4.45 pm to find room wasn't ready..once in room found it tired and dated and the batteries for the heating controls were missing..
Booked for evening meal and arrived 10 mins early to be told I would have to wait, pub/restaurant is not open to public or walk ins...never seen this before.. room price was nearly double for 2nd night stay even though room wasn't serviced..food was easier if they said what they had rather than what they didn't have....
Room wasn't overly clean..massive nail in the coffin for premier inn...hello Holiday inns .
- I7855REguys (10/5): Brilliant hotel good location and facilities good for public transport plenty of takeaways reasonable prices good parking for ou - Great hotel and staff.great location ample parking good food and bar service comfy beds and good shower and tea and cofffee
- andreamA8421QV (2/5): Rooms not clean! - I booked 4 rooms for a special family get together! Three of the rooms were appalling! Full of mould dust and grime! Lights out, heaters not working and curtains on the floor! This is not acceptable! The Lady on reception was not interested! The smell of damp and dirt was not acceptable! The picture advertised certainly did not represent the rooms!
The location and parking however were very good!
- P6025SSkuldeeps (10/5): best pizza and service !! - The best pizza i’ve ever had, i enjoyed my evening and was well taken care of by Una the chef, Darrian, and Peter, thank you i will be back.
- 211katg (6/5): Tired and smelly - Very mediocre and tired hotel. Reception lady was lovely, the position is great, breakfast was ok but pricey. Inside, the room size and amenities are fine but the room smelt damp and like drains.
- G3308HRjohnr (10/5): Excellent - Hotel was nice and what I needed for my trip working Tracey at reception was very helpful and made my stay comfortable was there two weeks
- C890AOwaynel (10/5): Excellent - Very good hotel service from the Lovley Tracy she was very accommodating and polite and credit to the company made my stay alot better
- tomkV5065YZ (10/5): Great place to stay when visiting Plymouth - Had a great stay! The room was clean, staff were super nice, and the location was really convenient. Would definitely stay here again, great value for money
- richardsZ8612HE (2/5): Very poor premier inn at Lockyer's quay - Very poor experience, mattress was very uncomfortable, stains on the chairs, expensive for the quality of the room. The heater was very loud. We won't be going to this premier Inn ever again.
- Getaway12275751595 (10/5): 5 star Ruby - Ruby on reception was EXTREMELY friendly polite and helpful a asset to premier inn
Looks after people with a constant smile on her face
- Albamar4 (4/5): No information about bar /restaurant facilities - The staff at this hotel were great and an assett to your chain however the very limited bar/restaurant facilities, which we were only advised about at check, was extremely disappointing
- callumh764 (10/5): Friendly helpful hotel - Always stay at this hotel when I work down in Plymouth, staff are always friendly and helpful, especially Ruby
Rooms always have a fan which for me is a must when staying away.
- stevejB506JI (4/5): Disappointing - Although the room was up to the normal standard expected from Premier Inn, it was very odorous which is probably why the window was fully open on arrival. Some air freshener may have helped.
The bathroom main light also didn't work, again I'd have expected that to have been reported and repaired from the last clean of the room and before its re-opened to the next guest.
- GoPlaces42574384352 (10/5): Professional and freindly service - Cant prsise the staff at this premier inn highly enough from the outset rebecca took care of our booking and car parking with a kind and professional manner and hasslefree we then were left gifts by fernanda in our room cassidy who checked us in and cameron who cleaned the room these 4 individuals deserve a lot of praise and are a credit to the premier chain will defo reccomend to friends and cant wait for our next stay
- Kttm64 (10/5): Lovely stay - We had a lovely comfortable stay, our room was clean thanks to Cameron, our gifts left by Fernanda was very much appreciated and such a lovely touch😊 cassidy couldn't be more helpful when checking in and Rebecca was a delight from booking with her with our accommodation and car parking to all her help with local places to visit, a very big thank you to you all, see you again soon 😊
- 876livd (2/5): Don’t even bother booking this one - It was vile
The towels had orange and brown stains on them and smelt weird
The corridors smelt musty and the carpets had weird stains on them
There was food left on the stairs
The breakfast staff were rude to customers, seemed to hide from any customer
The plates were stained
The tables were sticky and all seemed to have dirty plates on them
- deborahbR878ST (10/5): Fabulous stay & Staff - Excellent stay, quiet, comfortable and fabulous staff. We opted for a breakfast, so glad we did, helpful staff, perfectly cooked, lots of variety, catered for my allergies. And a big thank you to Una the chef who personally checked on us and offered additional breakfast if required. Can't fault our experience, exceeded expectations. Thank you Peterborough North, you are all amazing!
- 549vivm (2/5): Best avoided, unless you are desperate - Reasonable cheap hotel nicely located. But very cold rooms with limited sound proofing. Parking is £9 per 24 hours. The restaurant is a stomach bug hive, avoid at all costs. Plates and bowls absolutely filthy, food all over the floor and hostess was very put out when I asked to move to a table that didn't have someone else's crumbs and spilt coffee all over.
- N7421UNlauram (10/5): Great location to docks - Delightful, approachable and helpful staff. Clean rooms fabulous location, walking distance to the harbour and local food places.
- callumsR4949EK (10/5): Amazing staff - Amazing staff Natalie Beth and Bev. Very friendly and welcoming. Recommend this hotel to everyone. Nothing was too much trouble
- sarahgK6074KM (10/5): Friendly welcoming staff - My husband and I have just had our 3rd stay at this Premier Inn, and we wanted to give a special mention to Tracy and Bev who were working in the restaurant. They have both been incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Their kindness and attention to detail really made our dining experience extra enjoyable. All the hotel staff were also very pleasant and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back.
- Guide14092260745 (10/5): 5 Star Experience - My stay was turned into a 5 star experience by the kind assistance provided by Natalie on the Reception Desk. Thank you Natalie, you are a credit to Premier Inn.
- A8153AYnicolar (10/5): Bev is the best - Bev the manager was amazing and so helpful. I really enjoyed my stay thanks to Bev and the team. I will definitely return.
- Oldwolf1971 (10/5): Plymouth town. - Lockyers Quay is on the edge of town and at the harbour side and Its in a great location for exploring Plymouth. The car park was busy when we arrived as there was an event on in the harbour and the car park is next to a pay and display car park. The rooms are great as we always do find a Premier inn, spacious, clean, big bathroom and comfy beds. If you have mobility issues ask for a room near reception as the corridors go on for miles. The staff are very helpful and polite.
- GeraldR831 (2/5): Tired - Tired facility bordering on grubby. The attached pub where one has breakfast/dinner looks like it's ready to close down. Staff bored, disinterested, going through the motions. Depressing stay.
- mohammedsV4237HT (10/5): My stay at premier inn Peterborough - Had an amazing experience at the premier inn north in Peterborough excellent service from the lady at the desk named Roxy made me feel very welcome and was full off smiles would definitely recommend this place to everybody.
- 917ama (10/5): Overall good - Stay was overall very good. Bed was comfortable, and staff were great.
Evening meals were good, but senior management need to sort out staffing levels - having only one person waiting tables AND doing the bar and only on chef is not good. Especially when it was as busy as Friday and Saturday nights were. Again - the staff were great, and did the best they could in the circumstances.
- andywN6376NH (10/5): Stay - Great stay Beverly and Roxanne were great they made me laugh a lot will be back to stay the food was nice but restaurant was quite old and no atmosphere the chef Ella said hello and Natalie was great
- joshbX5849FO (10/5): Fantastic - Had amazing stay at peterborough north. Natalie is very polite and caring towards her guest. She did amazing job in restaurant and reception. Natalie always puts her customers first and always help them out.
- marshabO7533JH (6/5): Not a peaceful night's sleep. - Not the best Premier Inn I have stayed at as the housekeeping service was appalling. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work and a light above the bathroom mirror was out. I was more tired after my stay due to a constant howling sound against the outside vent next to the room window. The room was dated and a little dusty. Would I stay here again.... Ummm no.
- A3967VYnickyb (4/5): Disabled review - Location brilliant
Staff good
Cleanliness v good
Bathroom excellent except boxed in toilets cistern needs not to be boxed in for use with commode chair's
Bed .... well completely inadequate for disabled users !! Too low even with the bed raisers I took with us of 4 inches. Mattress too soft need to bed firm with hardly any give
- VikkiWhitbread (10/5): Highly recommend - Rebecca went above and beyond and made our stay very special, I mesntioned we were local and staying the night as my sons 18th. Whilst we were out she decorated the room and left chocolates and biscuits!
- karensB5255XT (10/5): Excellent Stay - Excellent stay - highly recommend this - the staff were amazing, particularly the young man who booked us in on arrival - he stayed calm during the varying needs of the large party that I was with - great service, very friendly and helpful.
- lorraineb586 (4/5): Great location , not air conditioned rooms - Great location 10 mins from Barbican rooms very hot no air unconditioning provided a very noisy fan. Beds were not comfortable we have stayed in premier inns and these were the worst we have had. We not stay here again expensive for the rooms we had
- TyconBoss (4/5): Very Disappointing - On arrival I wasn't aware that the parking wasn't included in the overall price, so I had to pay extra on top for each day I stayed. I don't understand this approach but if feels one way to squeeze more money out of you!
The bedroom had no air conditioning so trying to get ready in the morning was a challenge! The window only opened up a little and the fan they give you just circulates the air in the room and make no difference whatsoever.
In the end my partner had to do her makeup in the car as it was a lot cooler outside, and we could make use of the air conditioning!
The bathroom had mold around the shower head and the sink took ages to drain down after being used. You could look down the plug hole and see large clumps of hair!
We raised our concerns to the receptionist but unfortunately, they said there wasn't anything they could do! apart from checking out and moving to their other sister hotel next door which had air conditioning! but we would lose our money for the room we paid for.
I wouldn't be in no rush to head back to this hotel.
- P1303LOtonym (6/5): Car park charge RIPOFF - The hotel is perfectly fine, the location is brilliant and we always stay here but the lack of air con and just a fan in the room isnt the best when its absolutely boiling... the reason i only gave a 3 is because you have to pay for parking which is an absolute rip off and is the reason i will pick somewhere else the next time we visit family.
