Clean rooms, A/C, Piping hot freshly cooked breakfast every morning.. takes roughly 15 mins to cook but so worth the wait, plenty of cold bits to nibble on whilst it cooks. Staff are some of the friendliest we have come across and seem to genuinely enjoy working there!

• U6082ZQsuem (6/5): Overnight shopping stay - Premier Inn provides what you would expect but there is less staff interaction when booking in, I used the self service check in as I felt I was being heavily prompted in that direction from the emails/msgs I received beforehand and there wasn't any staff in the reception area when I arrived. Apart from ordering drinks and a few nibbles in the evening my staff interaction would have been minimal, the bar staff were good. I only ordered a few small plates as I know from experience the food is very much a frozen/fried menu. I did have a very big niggle though, wifi, Premier Inn have deemed it ok to provide a weaker intermittent wifi in the hope you will pay an extra five pounds for the ultimate wifi, for ninety five pounds I expect a decent wifi connection.

• kellyhR7RF (10/5): Highly recommended - We stayed at the premier Inn and was going to eat at the Trafford centre nandos for our evening meal but decided to stay in the restaurant and eat, we were so pleased we did, we are served by Ambrin, what an absolute delight, very nice and friendly couldn't do enough for us and so chatty, was very nice to have a waitress stop and talk to us they are normally so busy they don't get time, she is a credit to the restaurant, thankyou x
• myquest54 (4/5): Nice hotel, toxic air. - Despite the wonderful beds this visit was very disappointing. But the overall impression is one of chaos and good intentions. The air in the breakfast area is nothing short of toxic with no effective air cleaning from the kitchen. Our clothes, hair and nose all smell of fried food. I have complained before a few weeks and they've done nothing. Outside there is no evidence of extraction fans running. My advice is go down the road to 'spoons for an equally good breakfast.
• ThatFoodGuy1 (4/5): Won’t be booking again - We come to Manchester every year for Xmas shopping, we normally stay in this hotel, however after this year, this will be changing. We paid for early check in (driving from Glasgow ) we got here at 10:30am, our check in was at 11am. We were the only ones checking in at that time and had to wait for the server to finish what he was doing on the computer (around 10 mins) So we tried our luck and was told not we would need to wait the 30 mins. (Which was fine) we paid for a premier plus room. When we entered the room. The room was frozen, the heating element wouldn’t work. We went to the reception who told us that it was probably just on the wrong setting. So we went out and came back to find a plug in oil heater in our room as the aircon/heating wasn’t working. Not even a note to say this is why the heater was left. Also the hot water in the sink doesn’t work either. For a premier plus room it’s rather basic. Wasn’t even offered another room. As we were popping out later that day. We also heard another guests room still had “panty liners in the bin and urine in the toilet pan”. For the price £328 + £15 early check in, it really isn’t worth it.

• P1591TCrebeccag (2/5): Wouldn’t recommend this hotel - Bed and pillows were rock hard not comfortable at all, if you’re someone who likes keeping warm and not freezing then I wouldn’t recommend this hotel as we stayed here for 3 nights and was absolutely freezing! Was up and down the lift all night asking them to sort the heating out as the heater was blowing out freezing cold air and got told that it’s an old building so the heating doesn’t work at night! Then they gave us a heater which didn’t work either and when room service cleaned the room they left the window open which made it 1000 times colder. Also when we were packing to come home we noticed one of our bags were missing so we addressed the situation with the staff and they done an investigation of 5 minutes which then we found the bag inside one of our other bags which was zipped up so the room service actually went into our personal belongings to place the bag inside which they had no right to open our personal belongings. After this situation we went down to the bar and the staff were talking about the situation and looking at us which therefore they were talking behind our backs and 1 member of staff got her phone out and took photos of me and my partner which again is invision of privacy they shouldn’t have their phone out on shift let alone take photos of customers! The breakfast was a bit stale as if it had been sat overnight, was standing there for half hour waiting for toast to toast in the toaster and there was no plates. After this breakfast me and my partner had a very bad stomach all day which indicates the food wasn’t prepared as it should’ve been. Not to mention you have to pay to park in the car park of this hotel which paying customers shouldn’t have to do as we paid over £400 for this stay! Will be making a formal complaint about our stay at the hotel and won’t be staying here again and wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all.
• chriscD6980DZ (10/5): Comfortable and convenient stay at Manchester Trafford - Can't knock a Premier Inn, rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped, beds are really comfortable, and the breakfast is always spot on. Even though the Trafford Premier Inn is large and busy, the hotel bar and lounge area still felt chill and the staff were really attentive. And a stones throw from the Trafford Centre, which was perfect for our shopping trip.
• tomtA1629ZB (2/5): Wouldn’t recommend this hotel!! - Spent 3 nights constantly cold with no heating , asked for room service and belongings were moved and misplaced. Staff were rude and mouthing about us behind our backs and when addressed to staff they denied it when could be seen and heard by everyone. I spoke to Sam - front floor staff about belongings misplaced and he got straight to resolving the problem and was very concerned and helpful overall terrible experience and won’t be staying here again. Didn’t pay £400 to freeze and be spoken to like rubbish especially as a paying customer I’m absolutely disgusted in this establishment.

• W9206XValexg (2/5): Cobweb Heaven - Extremely dirty room - Massive cobwebs in room in corners with spiders counting up to 5 in the bath room - killed one at the bottom of the shower which will still be there mashed up like mashed potato - killed one above the tv which dropped at huge thick cobweb hanging. Awful - worst Premier inn iv ever stopped in! - Bed quilt had loads of black hair on like a dog had been on it.
• mrsbp2023 (4/5): Needs a deep cleaned especially room 330! - Locations great! The atmosphere in the hotel is brilliant! The staff who were working behind the bar on Friday 31st October were all great people who were very friendly and helpful and they tended your every need. We stayed in the Premier Plus room 330. Only two pillows so we had to ask for more as they thought that we had some in our wardrobes. Towels were not soft and fluffy but very hard. We had to ask for more towels too. The soaps needed topping up as there was hardly anything in the bottles. The shower mastic has not been cleaned for a long time as it was very mouldy with black mould. The bed was squeaky and the mattress sunk in the middle. We should have claimed our money back as we never had a great night sleep at all. This needs changing ASAP. We believe that this room hasn’t been used for a while and you could see this. The floor wasn’t hoovered properly and the furniture was a little dusty. The coffee maker was full of mould ! So we couldn’t use it. The Premier Unlimited WiFi didn’t work well which then became a complete waste of our time. The hotel corridor was quiet ! The service from the staff was great but the amenities that are provided should be provided for all of your customers. The rooms need to be deep cleaned regularly and replenished bathroom facilities also need to be replaced regularly too. Hotel could do with a deep cleaned as the cutlery in the restaurant was dirty also. This could be a great hotel but it needs to be cleaned and you need more staff present at your busier times. We wanted to discuss our stay with a member of staff but they were all very busy.
• R712VYsamv (2/5): Worst experience of a Premier Inn I’ve ever had - Terrible check in machine with 1 disinterested member of staff behind the bar. Dirty room - toe nails in the bathroom, dirt on the floor. Huge queue for breakfast and took 20 minutes to get seated and not in the restaurant, in the bar by the front door in a draft. Another huge queue for food and they had no plates or bowls and were bringing them out in 2s and 3s (they had obviously run out). Hardly any food, really slow to replenish. 2 of 4 fruit juices empty, 2 of the cereals missing, frozen bread, slowest toaster on the planet. Absent staff! Only 1 pillow each in the room so had to go and get another one, fair enough, but left stood waiting for 10 minutes while they tried to find one, they couldn’t, had to wait another 15 minutes while they brought one up to the room. Then had the cheek to charge for parking. Overall worst experience of a Premier Inn I’ve had. On this basis I would never return but lucky I’ve been to fantastic hotels within the chain elsewhere.

Very comfortable bed and a good night's sleep . Breakfast was exemplary . Freshly cooked to order it was absolutely the best I have had at a premier inn. Special mention goes to Rhianne in the kitchen , everything on our plates was hot , perfectly cooked and well presented . The kitchen was working like clockwork . All in all , it made our overnight stay after doing Brocklsby Pie experience perfect .

I particularly like the fact that the staff talk to you like human beings as opposed to robots preprogrammed by head office. Excellent value too.

• paulaandian (8/5): Overnight in Market Harborough - Pleasant one night stay to break up our drive to Reading . We had a nice enough stay despite being next to 24hr drive in with all its neon signs . Definatley request a room at the back ( rooms with Odd numbers ) if you have trouble sleeping . Our room was spacious and comfortable . The staff throughout our stay were very good , helpful and professional. We ate dinner in adjoining pub . Service was great ( pleasant young waitress.) Food menu was pretty basic but OK. Cooked breakfast next morning was fantastic .freshly cooked and very tasty. We would stay again but make sure we had a room at the rear away from the drive thru . Market Harborough is a great town and well worth a visit

Very friendly lady staff member booked us in with recommendation of a local taxi company for our night out….A2B Taxis. …..great recommendation with prompt service. Sunday morning table service breakfast was excellent, very friendly attentive staff with a special mention to the very busy chef, Reanne. Our poached eggs were ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️cooked perfectly!!…. She appeared very busy with a number of breakfasts on the go but still managed to do perfect eggs!! A very pleasant stay in a Premier Inn.

• Violet250951 (4/5): Never again! - We have stayed in many Premium Inns but never any as tired & tatty as this. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The bath mat was stained, there was only one bath towel and the toilet didn’t look as though it had been cleaned. We were also allocated a room the furthest from reception, when the hotel was half empty. The corridors smelt and the carpets were well worn & stained. The staff are flippant & unprofessional and needing training in customer service. First impressions count!! I would not recommend this place to anyone - it’s a disgrace to Premium Inn.

• laurapP1380SP (10/5): Wow! Excellent service!' - I’ve lived in Melton all my life and honestly can’t believe it’s taken me this long to stumble across this absolute little gem for breakfast – wow! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. The place has such a lovely, relaxed vibe, the kind of spot you instantly feel at home in. The food was spot on – beautifully cooked, generous portions, and you can just taste the quality. It’s the kind of breakfast that sets you up for the whole day and leaves you planning your next visit before you’ve even finished. And then there’s Jodie who works the night shifts– what a star! I got chatting to her and she was just exceptional. So warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in making sure everything was perfect. She went above and beyond, and you don’t often get that level of care and attention these days. The whole restaurant was spotless, I have visited some fantastic restaurants in my time but this is definitely up there in my top 3!! Honestly, this place is a real game-changer for breakfast in Melton. A hidden treasure that deserves to be shouted about – I’ll definitely be back again and again, and I’ll be bringing friends and family too.
• Debthefoodie (2/5): Room temperature - Only one person at reception who was busy dealing with other customers. We checked in & got to our room to find there were were no towels in our room. We went downstairs to report this & were given a bale by the friendly receptionist We had had a tiring day so just wanted a shower & to get to bed for an early night The temperature controls did not work in our room. We were up in the middle of the night trying (& repeatedly failing) to reset it from the balmy 24-25 degrees it was set at. We followed the instructions to the letter to no avail (we’ve stayed in quite a few Premier Inns & are familiar with the controls). We reported out problem in the morning and the helpful (different) receptionist apologised & gave us the customer service number to ring as we had not had the famous “guaranteed good night’s sleep” We spoke to Nadine who rather tersely told us there was no air conditioning in Premier Inn rooms. Pure semantics- temperature controls did then. The bottom line is that we both work repeatedly in the night iverheated and needed to stand by the open window to cool down. Nadine informed us that because we didn’t report it in the night, there is nothing they could do. I have only had cause to complain about a poor night’s sleep many years ago and the duty manager was able to refund us in the spot. I certainly was t expected to dress & report our issue during the night. Nadine said we could have telephoned & didn’t have got dressed & our room would have been changed. So she clearly expected us to walk through the corridors in night attire & our luggage in hand if an alternative room had been found for us. Disgraceful customer service
• bjc1980 (6/5): Hotter than a California reaper chili but with wonderful staff - An amazing bunch of staff- they were all so lovely, tempered by room that was so hot Dayan would have been forced to remove his jumper and stick with at shirt and flip flops. Food was great. The inn is looking tired. Our toilet seat was in desperate bed of replacement. The carpets are all quite worn and frayed, the bed as always at premier in was shopper comfortable but I had to allow it to dry from my sweat pool at 3am (and this is not me being sarcastic). We had a fan on full blast all day during our stay and the window open (outside temp 18.5c). Room temp felt close to 35 and that is conservative. A winter stay with windows open probably fine. If you are an Orc in the master of darkness flame torture department, you’ll be fine. Otherwise bring very lightweight PJ’s.

Very nice and helpful staff at reception, dinner and breakfast. Free parking. My room was quiet, comfortable and clean. Everything worked including in the bathroom. There is a restaurant on site and they were happy to accommodate my fussy tastes. Breakfast is the usual buffet selection plus hot cooked items on request.

But the room temps are close to sleeping on satans lap and the understanding on the front counter from a simple request is far from Desirable, the bathrooms while clean have a stack of loo roll NOT a tried and tested roll ! Poor really. No air con or even a window that opens wide enough to allow in any air flow would be a good idea Leaving me to suffer grumpy children and worse a wife melting next to me
• Deruluc (10/5): Perfect little pied a terre - Perfect hotel for a 3 night stay to attend a wedding. The staff are all extremely helpful and kind both at reception and in the restaurant. Bedding is very confortable and if you have a room facing the back you can hardly hear the road even with the window open. Rooms was clean, just a small smell of humidity due to poor evacuation of steam from the bathroom, but hopefully this has been sorted since then
