Lovely reception and a perfectly poured pint
Just the ticket. Thanks Julie !!
- jakebA4525PS (10/5): Julie the star of the show - Julie is wonderful. She is so warm and welcoming and made the stay memorable for our party. Julie’s the best! food and rooms were great. Even though the wifi was pants the staff made up for it
- deanrG6109BZ (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyable - Great service , lovely friendly ladies behind the bar and reception , very attentive and made us feel very welcome, food was great , one of the best hotels for service I’ve encountered , Julie is a star x
- nanww (10/5): Premier Inn review - Had a lovely stay. The waitress at the breakfast and dinner were very kind and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Julie was a very kind waitress and helped us with everything we needed. She was very kind and funny, while also being professional. The atmosphere was great. Check in and Check out was very smooth. The food was very tasty and breakfast was no fuss, we all enjoyed the stay will definitely be coming back soon and staying again. I definitely recommend this Premier Inn to everyone who is visiting the area.
- 454syndis (8/5): One night stay - Stayed one night visiting family east check room was clean .
Had breakfast the next morning . Big shout out to Julie for checking us and making sure everything was ok and making us laugh
- CliveandLornaJackson (10/5): Overnight stopover - Used the hotel as a stopover while travelling in the area and glad we chose this one as the welcome and then the service was brilliant.
Great warm room and lovely food in the restaurant
- L801LZadrians (6/5): Convenient place to stay but not sure it was worth the money. - Staff are friendly and welcoming, very handy location with easy parking. Unfortunately let down by the tired and worn facilities.
- melaneyh2013 (2/5): Avoid - The hotel is in need of massive repairs, the beds were ao hard, even my 9 year old who weighs next to nothing could feel no support from her mattress. There was an internal door which slammed consistently throughout the night. The bathroom had black mold and shower pressure was so poor. We waiting ages to be checked in and met the most blunt receptionist and when we checked out, no one was around despite pressing the bell, still no one came. We also got to witness two breakfast waitresses have a fight, all in ear shot of my two round children including their swearing. Never again!! We go back to a Travelodge.
- JaneJ635 (10/5): Very comfortable stay - Great 4 night stay for us. The staff were very welcoming and always polite and friendly. The room was very clean and had all that we needed in it. Hairdryer in the room, kettle, good sized tv and help yourself to extra milk. All that we needed. Restaurant and bar right next to the hotel was very handy.
Would recommend staying here and will do again next time we are in Leicester
- MAZIEMOO40 (10/5): Great clean hotel - 2nd time staying here whilst visiting our daughter at Leicester uni. Friendly staff. Rooms all clean beds really comfy. Easy check in. Breakfast choice really good a little expensive but it is eat as much as you want. Would recommend this hotel and definitely stay again
- D6999NTkatherinec (10/5): 5 🌟 - Very polite staff and helpful staff and the staff is very lovely I would recommend the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are clean
- annettemI7007WP (10/5): I'll be back... - I visit Leicester a few times throughout the year and stop over at the LFE Premier Inn everytime. Always a pleasant, friendly and helpful service. Especially Daniel! Thank you
- 973keithg (10/5): Another great stop over - This particular Premier inn is well situated, looks very appealing, free car park, quick check in by friendly efficient staff, room well appointed room, which was clean and fresh
- ljacksonod (8/5): Great value and location for the Leipzig city center and train station - This was our one paid stay out of 13 nights in the Netherlands and Germany. We booked the rest of our trip with points. While not fancy, the value was excellent and the location great for the Leipzig Bach festival. I would definitely stay here again.
This was very convenient for an early train departure. The train station had great food options.
- AdamCollett (8/5): Clean and tidy with the usual comforts - A clean hotel with comfortable surroundings and excellent parking, easy to find and well looked after, the only improvement would have been air conditioning in the room as it was stuffy overnight
- Daydream52785892950 (10/5): Lovely Stay at Forest East. - This is our second stay at this hotel as we enjoyed the first time around when we have been visiting the Supercar Fest nearby. Staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast each morning is cooked to order and is delicious. We had an evening meal and this was lovely and good value for money. Beds are comfortable and room was very clean. We stayed three nights and my son wanted to stay more.
- geoffkeen (2/5): Terrible hotel. Worst customer service - Worst hotel ever! Even worse customer service from the company. The hotel has no A/C it was 29 degree in the family room at night. It wasn’t not this outside! The company is penny pinching and has stopped using the a/c that is clearly in the room. When a complain was made as my children could not sleep they hide behind the small print on the “good night guarantee”. They should have accepted it was a bad hotel - end of. Conditions were terrible - end of. A refund or credit note should be offered. It was not. Do not use this hotel or the chain as you will be disappointed.
- GLJ83 (2/5): Unbearably hot room, no air con - Never had an uncomfortable stay in a Premier Inn until now. The heat in the room was unbearable. They have got rid of their air conditioning, yet the windows can still only be opened a tiny amount. There were 4 of us staying in one room with one inefficient fan, and it was 29 degrees in the room. The receptionist tried to get us a fan but none were available, he said that they had ordered 60 more fans but had not arrived yet. Apparently some rooms had two fans and the receptionist would have moved us but all rooms were full. I don’t know if this meant our room (125) was especially hot. Anyway, a terrible night’s sleep, so uncomfortable and no chance of a refund as apparently the Good Night Guarantee is not affected by lack of air conditioning! Thanks to the receptionist who tried his best.
- jasonaW7382HN (10/5): Late arrival - Got here late after a long drive from south coast, the kitchen was closed when I got here, but jas and James the chef one duty put together a real nice curry and pudding for me .very nice very much appreciated
- Jenniewren304 (10/5): Great visit. - The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. We had two adjoining rooms which we'd requested. The hotel were extremely helpful, providing leakproof sheets for a potty training toddler.
The restaurant was lovely, food delicious and not expensive.
Breakfast was plentiful, and well cooked. The fact both youngsters ate for free was an unexpected bonus.
The wait staff were extremely helpful and made us all very welcome.
- TripFiction (10/5): A nice surprise, great location, large rooms - What a surprise this hotel proved to be. Ideal location - 5 minutes walk from the station and 5 into the city centre.
The rooms are larger than average and they feel new and pristine. The bathroom, too, is a good size so you actually have a bench to place cosmetics! (which is an ace bonus). Beds are comfortable and we had breakfast on one day, which is very nicely laid out with plenty of choice.
Would definitely stay again (but a couple of quick thoughts: there is nowhere to put your clothes - drawers? - so ours remained in our suitcases; and every 5 minutes or so, what I presume to be the fire system (??) flashes a bright light, which can be a bit annoying during the night when the room is dark and you happen to be awake). Overall excellent
- bucko1989 (10/5): A Gem of a Hotel - The hotel is located right on the edge of the Alstadt about 5 minutes walk from the main train station. We were in Leipzig for the Christmas markets and these were less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
The hotel is spotlessly clean with a very nice bar/restaurent area just off the reception.
Staff were very nice but I must single out one member in particular, Calvin. Calvin was friendly, polite and very efficient at his job. He went that extra mile by ensuring that we were not kept waiting for our rooms and in fact we got access to them earlier than we should. Many thanks Calvin, you do not realise how much that helped us.
Without doubt I would stay at this hotel again.
- Q7069RQks (10/5): See you next year! - Two nights with two kids and the hotel has been fantastic. Super friendly and helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean and not too hot or cold. No noise issues at all. A well stocked drinks tray was provided. Breakfast had so much choice and many vegan options. The bar offered some great drink options and all were reasonably priced. A fantastic location for the station and Christmas markets. We would 100% recommend and stay again. This I would say is not your average premier inn it’s so much better.
- JoeBLVO (10/5): Colditz / Leipzig Holiday - I used to stay in 50 to 60 hotels a year with work - mainly in the UK. I would avoid PermierInn / Travel Lodge. This trip was part of my retirement gift from my wife - a visit to Colditz Castle included.
How pleasantly surprised I was on arrival- clean , tidy , modern and a nice scent in the reception. Reception staff all friendly - all speaking good English (Note to self - Learn another language).
The room was at the rear, over looking the courtyard - you just hear the rumble of the trams. Massive zip bed and roomy shower. Only complaint would be the TV - only news channels is English.
Happy hour every day 1700 to 1900 - billy bonus. However the menu is lacking Burgers, Pizzas or Toasties. First night no Burgers - Last night only Pizza. Also on the last night the bar staff took 4 orders and said he’d bring the drinks- but it took ages. After 10 mins I went to bar to order food and three or four others in the queue got their drinks before we did. When I ask where my drinks were I was informed the pump was broken and offered alternates. If I had known there was limited food we would have left immediately to find something else.
Housekeeping - what a good scheme - donate to charity for not cleaning rooms. We still got clean towels and tea/coffee on request.
Will we return - you bet we will.
