- billywizz68 (10/5): A well run, clean and quiet hotel - A lovely modern Premier Inn. Clean, well organised with lovely staff. Great for a visit to Newcastle if you want to stay close but not pay the prices of hotels in the centre on a football day. A quiet location despite being close the the A1. The rooms were very clean and even had USB sockets in room which you still don't get in some of the older Premier Inns- helpful if you have forgotten your adapter...
- 529jodieo (10/5): Great! - Stay here often for work for the week. All rooms have been renovated and are lovely very modern with everything you could need. The breakfast room is new and big with all you can eat cooked and buffet.
The staff here are very helpful in particular Tanya. Every time I come she goes over and above, she is thorough and nothing is a problem for her. I would like to give a special thanks to her for Making my stay nice, when I’m working away from home.
The Toby carvery in the car park is brilliant always busy and very warm and comforting.
There is always car parking spaces and you do not have to pay for the car park which is a massive difference to all the other Premier inns, that can be up to £20 a night on top of your room stay.
- 4lesleyn (10/5): Fantastic place to stay - clean, efficient and a brilliant breakfast - The inn reception were team were both welcoming and efficient. The public areas were spotless. The room was again spotless, well appointed and very comfortable. But there are 2 highlights for me -
Direct phone line too local taxi service in reception - truly the first time I've experienced it. The phone was answered immediately and the contact was efficient and helpful.
My second highlight was breakfast.....I am incredibly fussy over fried eggs - I can't eat runny eggs. Normally it's like descending to hell to get what I think is a simple request done. Even in the best of hotels it can be a trial with the cook believing they know best and sometimes it's taken 3 attempts. Sometimes I get an eggs which looks like it's been murdered.... or cremated.
This morning Jo, the cook, did 2 perfect eggs! The rest of breakfast was good too. And I heard others say how good their breakfast was.
I asked reception to make sure Jo was aware of my comments. But I say to premier inn, Jo listened to what I wanted and gave me eggs which only I could cook better....... treasure him.
- Zoecooper86 (10/5): Always a great stay, perfect for Gullivers World - We have stayed here numerous times and will continue to do so. We use this as a base when we are going to Gullivers World (ten min drive away) and cannot fault the hotel at all. Check in always seamless, rooms spotless. We had a lovely evening meal served by Ellie and at breakfast our host was Pam. Both ladies went above and beyond and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely both a real asset to the Premier Inn brand and the reason we will continue to stay here in the future. Breakfast was buffet style (so much better than our previous visit where it was cooked to order) I hope they continue with the buffet.
Just a little side note, if you want/feel the need to leave a tip, please bring cash so the staff definitely get it.
- Z2387SUstevep (10/5): Perfect - Ideally located just off A1. Great parking, convenience of onsite and local hospitality. Attentive staff. Comfortable room with more than adequate amenities.
- mrr427 (8/5): Premier inn Warrington - Does what it says on the tin
Negative is the road works going on at junction next to the hotel at the moment
Rooms are basic but functional
Cooked breakfast was bit greasy
- vickiec267 (10/5): Best hotel I've stayed in for a long time!! - It's not often I stay in hotels in the UK, but this place is by far 1 of the nicest I've ever stayed. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the rooms are great with most amenities you could need, like wifi, an ironing board, hairdryer, fridge and lots of plugs and sockets where you actually need them, plus the beds were so comfortable that I didn't want to get out! They were so accommodating, nothing was a problem and they even had gluten free bread for the breakfast which had such a good selectionas and being coeliac I really appreciated that. But a special mention must go to Janice on reception because she was so professional, kind, courteous and helpful! 10 out of 10 easily!!! Can't wait to return!!
- Companion00341182842 (10/5): great stay - the room was a little small but really nice and the staff here were the absolute kindest. the view and the bathroom were both really good too
- bobbC7658IF (10/5): Excellent Premier Inn - This is an excellent Premier Inn, definitely recommend and would stay here again. Everything you expect from a Premier Inn, but notably our room (not a Premier plus room) was clean and modern, staff were friendly and very helpful, and breakfast was good.
Rooms are quiet even though it's just off a main road, we slept absolutely fine. No noise at all. Bathrooms only have showers (no baths) but we knew this in advance and its not a problem for us. Breakfast is served in the hotel (not the Toby Carvery next door) and hot food is cooked to order, so ends up much better than when its kept warm on a buffet.
Overall really pleased with our stay. An excellent hotel for a family trip at a good price.
- KTP1971 (10/5): The best Premier Inn I have stayed in over many years. - This was one of the best premiere inns I’ve ever stayed in. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. I was so impressed. I’d stay again and recommend it. I moved on to Widnes PI, and it was not good at all. If in the area go and stay here!
- debbiesQ4545KQ (10/5): Super brekkie and super Pam! - Amazing value and perfect location on route to Liverpool. Family room with all the amenities needed.
Breakfast is the best! Pam was wonderful, very attentive and helped our 2 very fussy children choose their breakfasts and my daughter the pancakes. She is a diamond. Can't beat Premier Inn for value and family friendly.
- ASM1968 (10/5): Very pleasant stay - I stay at Premier Inns very frequently and like this hotel chain. After the stay in the Premier Inn Team Valley, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of our Premier Plus room. Again very spacious with fridge and coffee machine as advertised. The room and bathroom were both clean and the bed very comfortable. The only drawback was that they didn’t have an in-house restaurant and we would have had to go to Tobey Carvery next door. Not a big fan of Tobey Carvery so we didn’t eat there. There aren’t many places to eat in Washington and many were closed on a Monday. Breakfast was served in a small area of the hotel but the buffet was well stocked and the food fresh. I can’t find fault with this Premier Inn other than missing an in-house restaurant. I was very pleased with our stay and would return again.
- andrewcZ5876CZ (10/5): Lovely, good value, great breakfast! - Had a break on a long drive at the end of a holiday here and it was lovely. Beds were comfy, service was great, no complaints at all!
Breakfast was great (as all premier inn breakfasts are) - unlimited everything and really good veggie options. Pam, running the breakfast, was a star and was so good to our kids- really made them feel welcome.
Very good value - 65 quid for four of us and breakfast.
- 491eliciap (10/5): Stop Over on the way to Scotland. - Lovely comfortable stay. The room was spotlessly clean. Bed was super comfortable. No noise from corridor or outside the hotel.
Perfect location for travelling to other parts of the UK just off the A1M.
Would definitely return again.
Thanks Premier Inn 😊
- jonathanhF3124VA (10/5): Would stay again - Welcoming, clean, easy to find, and great value.
The staff made it very easy to check in. The car park was clearly signposted and secure. Overall, a great experience.
- Voyager31719212762 (10/5): Lovely customer service from Anne on Reception - We stayed here as a family and we loved our stay. Anne on reception was lovely & helped us check in. We had a great room & would highly recommend. Thank you again
- Sightseer312271 (4/5): Parking Charges ! - I didn't get to stay here so I can't comment on the facilities inside the Premier Inn. I parked in the car park and went to check in. I found out from reception that I had unfortunately gone to the wrong Premier Inn, my reservation was another one not too far away. So I left and went to the other one, HOWEVER............
I later received a parking fine for £55 + £12,50 admin fee from Euro Car Parks, So WATCH OUT!
You may only be parked there for a matter of minutes (even by mistake) but you will be penalised.
- I2473JEjuliad (10/5): Stay at Premier Inn in Warrington North Central - The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff in the breakfast room were really friendly and went to extra trouble as I have a food allergy. I would recommend this hotel highly.
- OldGrockle (4/5): Would not stay again - There was no-one on reception when I arrived, and quite a wait for them to appear, but accepted they were doing something else and was not a big deal. Apparently it is not possible to buy hot chocolate in the hotel/ restaurant.
The room was a standard Premier Inn room so was fine, although only had a shower, no bath. The remote control didn't work, and the toilet had not been cleaned - there was old sticky urine around the rim, which was unpleasant.
Mentioned the remote and the bathroom to the person on the desk when I left but they weren't interested.
- MJStavrou (10/5): Great place to stay the night - not far from Durham University - The mattress was incredibly comfortable extra pillows were available.
The staff were all amazingly helpful and friendly staff. A special thank you to David!
- L1254IPrichardc (10/5): Very good value - Clean and friendly. Very good value for money. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly
- MichaelWaring (10/5): Staff here are wonderful - The staff at Washington Premier Inn make the stay there very pleasant indeed.
They are all more than happy to do anything they can to help.
Having staff like that puts this hotel at the very top!
- GoldenBoy81 (10/5): Very good - Very quiet hotel with plenty of parking. Really comfortable bed, modern room and bathroom, and a good breakfast in the morning
- Roam49092933460 (10/5): Very happy with my stay - I have stayed in many Premier Inns and this was one of the best.
I rang a few days beforehand and asked for a quiet top floor room as I had a long drive before and after my stay. When I arrived at the hotel a very friendly, polite young man remembered speaking to me on the phone and had sorted that out for me.
The room was very quiet, clean and comfy.
Parking was easy.
Easy access to the A1.
Tony carvery just next door so easy to get food and a pint.
- cressiday (10/5): Great stay and staff - I like a premier inn but this was a great one! Rooms were lovely, clean and quiet and there was plenty of parking. Breakfast was lovely and Sharon couldn’t do enough to help; she even brought me a freshly fried egg when there were none left. Highly recommended!
- K1919QZandyc (10/5): Simply fantastic service! Very homely! - The hotel is like many Premier Inn hotels or similar branded hotels. However, one thing that makes it stand out from the rest … is the exemplary service received from the attentive and welcoming staff .
We travel often with our family and typically need to stay in similar hotels around 20 times a year. We’ve never had better service than here at Washington.
At breakfast time, we were welcomed in and served by such lovely people. The lady and gentleman running the restaurant and cooking the breakfast were so pleasant and genuinely very impressive.
Yes the rooms are nice, clean and modern but the breakfast experience turned our rather simple and quick stay into a really positive experience that we just don’t seem to get nowadays. They clearly live their job and it was almost as though it was their hotel, their restaurant and not just a branded hotel.
We would definitely stay again without question… our whole family were in total agreement that this is the best Premier Inn they’ve ever stayed in (and they have been to many).
- sr12eve (8/5): Easy access- Fantastic Staff - Easy access location, GREAT staff.
Chosen primarily for access from our homes and to the points we wished to visit.
This premier inn would benefit from more disabled access rooms ( reducing by 50% was a step backwards).
The rooms were well enough equipped, but perhaps at least one bed would benefit from replacing. I really don't expect to feel mattress buttons.
The stand-out point was the charm and efficiency of our evening manager/receptionist. Nothing was too much effort, and any request had a solution ( except changing to another accessible room). Great customer service and an absolute asset to this hotel. She made our two night stay (Sunday and Monday) as easy as possible.
Because of her, I would consider staying again, although the B & B rate could compare better with other operators.
- L2652FEchrism (10/5): Amazing staff & service, could not fault. - Just spent 2 nights here and could not have been any better.
All staff very friendly and efficient, reception, breakfast and chef .
Room was spotless and wi-fi good throughout the building.
Breakfast was excellent and plenty of choices.
5 star review for a 5 star service.
- pamelah479 (10/5): Stay convenient to family with good breakfast service - Nice hotel, conveniently located near M62 and north west motorway connections. Breakfast was included and the service was very good. Pam greeted us both mornings with a cheery smile and was most helpful in our order and delivery of breakfast items. She is an asset to the hotel , managing the restaurant front of house single handed, at its most busy time! I would recommend this hotel for those looking to stay n the Warrington area. Reasonably priced too.
- swissjohnc (10/5): Excellent customer care - The young lady on duty at reception was exceptionally helpful and went out of her way to make sure our stay was comfortable. Her customer care and customer relation skills were excellent
- TauriC_12 (8/5): Welcoming, convenient and clean - Came up for the Women’s World Cup Rugby 2025 opening match. We found this hotel to be welcoming, terrific ladies on reception, clean and delighted that our twin room was actually a twin (rather than a double bed and sofa bed as in some PI) with a walk in shower (great as this is needed for ambulatory disabled person).
There is a good network of roads nearby so easy access to a number of places to visit. Close to Sunderland, Durham and Newcastle. It is not far from the coast, Northumberland National Park, North Pennines, North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. There are plenty of National Trust sites to visit. This is a good hotel as a jumping off point to Scotland or Cumbria (the A69 is very scenic with several lovely villages along the way or the A66 or A684 are also quite scenic).
We spent two nights here and would certainly return if we are back up in that area.
- 403yvonnen (10/5): Excellent hotel all staff very friendly - All staff extremely friendly and very helpful. Great location to explore Sunderland and stadium of light. Fresh decor inside and great food.
- roseanner580 (8/5): Nice stay, lovely staff - Was a nice stay, and had a lovely waitress called Pam greet and serv us breakfast :) made all the difference being met with a smile and kindness
- B1843JRemmac (10/5): Fantastic Staff - Lovely hotel, very quiet. Breakfast was delicious. The staff are amazing. We’ve stayed twice at this particular Premier Inn and we would again.
- Curious10457121047 (8/5): Delicious breakfast - Breakfast was delicious, only reason I didn’t give five star was because weirdly the hotel rooms don’t have air conditioning, they did have a fan in the room but as you can’t open the window very far the room was very hot.
- 11RJS (10/5): Convenient and friendly hotel - Stayed overnight here for a nearby family wedding. Rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, breakfast was great- everything you would want in a full English. Staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. We had requested a downstairs room for my elderly mum and even though we arrived early it was sorted quickly and Ellie helped us settle into the room and couldn’t have been more helpful. It was easy to get a taxi via the taxi phone in reception. Would definitely stay here again.
- Connector04117593928 (10/5): Good room, good sleep, good brekkie. All the wins. - Not the most “exciting” place, but if you are seeking a clean well maintained room, with good comfort, sound proofing and a very good Breakfast then can’t really fault this.
Loads of parking space, close proximity to a few eateries.
I went for the Premium room which was also an accessible room ( as it was the only one left!)
Good size,air-con, fridge, wet room. Great wi-fi included which was useful as the TV service was quite basic if you fancy a film.
Breakfast was as you want it. If you fancy 16 sausages then it’s yours. All prepared on site and to order.
No bar on site, but there is a Toby Carvery right next door. Limited selection of hand pulled beers but plenty of space.
- JC2713 (10/5): An enjoyable experience! - Very pleasant stay at this Premier Inn. Has all been refurbished to a high standard from what we saw. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Will definitely be staying here again.
- iainm9 (10/5): Thanks Pam! - Pam was awesome on breakfast service this morning - so helpful at sorting gluten free breakfast for my daughter. Thanks so much!! ❤️
- annepeter (6/5): Mostly good with one exception - First, the positives. We are very pleased that now Premier Inns have accessible rooms. Ours was just what we needed. However, Premier Inns want us all to know that they want us to have the best night's sleep ever. They talk about their mattresses, they talk about their pillows, but they don't mention what I assume are winter weight duvets on these beds in the summer. The duvet is all there is: no flat sheet that could be used on a warm night. I was so hot under the duvet that I couldn't sleep, but with nothing on, it was too chilly. Could they please think about this!
- mrsw71 (8/5): Great location and inn would return - Wanted 5 out of 5 but couldn’t do lol. Great clean hotel , very welcoming and attentive staff. Breakfast good too. Room big and bright and comfy . Don’t go to Toby Carvery it’s appalling. All meat tough and veg over cooked tepid and sloppy. Counter full of food people had slopped . Staff couldn’t be bothered We went to champs sports bar at rear of
- juls21 (10/5): Premier Plus room worth the extra costs - Great little find. We stayed for one night in a premier plus room. The room was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. Lovely extra touches in the premier plus room are worth the extra cost. Nespresso coffee machine, Green & Blacks little chocolate bars and water in the fridge. The bed was very comfy and the lighting really nice. Perfect for our 1 night needs! Staff on reception very nice and friendly and the reception area was spotlessly clean too. There is a little restaurant in the lobby which served a full breakfast for £10.99 per person but we didn't stay for this, it did looks a nice little area though.
- Coastal21573979760 (10/5): Everything was great apart from!!! - I booked 2 rooms 1 premier plus and
1 standard with twin beds when we arrived I was told the hotel does not have twin beds.
They only have double beds now luckily it was for my 2 sisters and they said it would be ok.
Now if I have turned up with a mate I would not have been sharing a bed with another bloke. (NOT EVER WOULD THAT HAVE HAPPENED). now I have checked again on the website and it still says you can book twin beds. This needs to be sorted. So if it states you can book twin beds but in fact they don't have twin beds this is not on🤬 breakfast you can get continental breakfast but you can't just buy toast think you missed out on something.
Apart from this gripe everything was great
- MrReviewer21 (8/5): Better than some of the previous Premier Inns we have stayed in. - Watch out for the big pot hole near the exit. Surprised it hadn’t been filled. Although the entrance to the Inn building looks a little need of some tlc once inside it was fine.
Bit of a slight delay as room was not quite ready over an hour after 11am planned check in which we had paid extra for. Then given a cooler room.
Breakfast was ok, although air con made restaurant quite cool.
Staff very friendly and cheerful.
- dazdalzell (8/5): Armed Forces Day - This is an ideal place to stay for access to Warrington and surrounding areas.
The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant and bar staff were brilliant during our stay.
The food is great and the breakfast is a must.
Will definitely return again.
- Safari66347789418 (8/5): Armed Forces Weekend - Great staff and excellent location for our needs. The rooms are spacious and the restaurant serves great food. Breakfast is a must.
- NorthStar718388 (10/5): Great overnight stay - We came here when visiting gulivers world, great location and big room for the family. The breakfast staff Pam and Mia were so lovely and welcoming and very attentive to anything we needed. They offered my daughter colouring in which was a lovely touch at breakfast and always served us with a smile! Thank you so much for being nice and helpful x
- missbearface (10/5): 5 out of 5 - A top class Premier Inn, really hitting every promise that the brand makes, a blissfully comfortable bed, spotless cleanliness, and amazing service.
- G1138NUaarona (8/5): Brilliant - Lovely place heating is not the best but workers were efficient and as polite as you can get, bathroom is not as big as expected but all in all well cleaned and can fit 2 people in there. Cleanliness was brilliant was a few bits of dust but no point being picke because not important
- J2185WRclaired (10/5): Engaging staff, well fresh cooked food - There was a warm welcome, the staff were interested in what we were there for
the room was clean and tidy, the bed, as ever for a premier inn was really comfy
breakfast was cooked fresh and well, great selection of other items available
good location for visiting Manchester, near a retail park (bad for the wallets :), easy to get to from the motorway
- helenbY1019KZ (10/5): Such a relaxing stay, this premier inn definitely deserves a mention and recommendation. Would definitely use this place - Very clean establishment, staff very welcoming and friendly, bed very comfortable.
Lovely to be greeted so warmly at breakfast, thank you Pam for first class service. Breakfast was excellent and we ate too much. Would definitely use this place again.
- tobia373 (10/5): Great Premier inn experience as always :) - We stayed one night and had breakfast the next morning. Beds are always comfortable and the room is nice and cool thanks to the fan. We always love picking up the extra milk packets for our copious cup of tea requirements.
The food was cooked perfectly and we received great service from Pam in the restaurant. She accommodated our specific sausage cooking requirements and improved our morning :)
Will hopefully return again when we are near the area.
- 440gillianc (10/5): The BEST Premier Inn - We stayed for 1 night 29/05 in 2 family rooms. The rooms were immaculate. The gentleman on reception was welcomng, polite and helpful on arrival and also in the morning at breakfast.
The breakfast was really nice. Fresh fruit, fresh pastries, cereals and an amazing cooked breakfast. Cooked to order so nice and fresh. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely go back.
- Bibblemywibble (10/5): Comfortable place to stay with great staff! - Stayed here with friends while at the Neighbourhood Weekender festival. It’s a short taxi into Warrington centre.
It’s a typical premier in with regards the expected quality (clean rooms, comfy beds, good breakfast etc.) what made this enjoyable was the staff. Bag drop on Saturday morning before we could check in, really easy, as was check in at nearly midnight that night after a long day (and power walk back). I didn’t catch the names but both males on reception were great. We were also well looked after in the restaurant and reception on the Sunday & Monday by Sinead and Megan.
- davidwA3767TH (2/5): Not the usual Premier Inn reliability - Unfortunately the bathroom smelled of sewage/drainage which leached through into bedroom so we had a very poor night's sleep.
We asked for an alternative room but none available - with hindsight we should have stayed at home and woke up 2 hours earlier to go to the airport
- lukebJ7163YD (10/5): Comfort and service - Very comfortable beds and breakfast service was really good, Pam was very friendly. The breakfast itself was tasty and simple to order. Everything was set out for us too help ourselves to whatever we liked including cereal and various fruits
- glamoursistersm (10/5): Brilliant Hotel - Came here on a works couse! all the staff in the hotel are there for every need and in the restaurant attached lovely pam greets you goes above and beyond for you when you come in. highly recommend!!! Rooms clean and tidy for a restful nights sleep
- FarAway60942131867 (10/5): One of the best - Excellent Premier Inn hotel with a great room, a comfy bed and good shower. Staff very helpful and polite. Breakfast nice as always in a tastefully decorated dining area. Good location in city with a decent amount of parking available. One of the best I’ve stayed in.
- Jockscouser (10/5): Great family hotel - Friendly staff
Lovely modern rooms
Very clean and comfortable beds
Very quiet rooms
Great location
We stayed here as a base for a family trip to Liverpool for the football.
It's a perfect location and we will definitely stay again the next time we go to see Liverpool
- Q9329WUpaulf (10/5): Nice overnight stay - Needed a nice clean, comfortable room for an overnight stay, when visiting Warrington.
This pace was ideal. Decent location. Easy to get to.
Staff were lovely. Everything was as expected. Nice comfy beds, clean room, clean bathroom.
Good breakfast in the morning too! Grand.
