Our room was very quiet couldn’t hear any passing traffic. We had a very good 3 night stay and if in Letchworth again will Definitely stay here again. The staff are very friendly and helpful. • traceypQ9820JU (10/5): Prefect Location - Perfect location in the City Centre and car park right next door. The parking fee for 24hr was very reasonable. The rooms were spotless and a good nights sleep was had just as always in a Premier Inn.
• FrankPatient (10/5): Brilliant hotel , city centre + parking . - This a typical Premier Inn with the same standards you would expect . Breakfast was buffet style - great as always . Comfy bed , good shower and the room was clean . This is a central Premier Inn and is a five minute walk Ito the centre of Lincoln - ideal for a visit to Lincoln . The car park is £7.40 for 24 hours on weekdays and £5.40 for 24hours on the weekend and it is directly behind the hotel - really convenient .The car park is multi-storey - tons of space . I've found just lately the earlier you book these places the cheaper they are - last minute booking can be expensive . Well if you want to go to Lincoln for an overnight visit and stop really central - then this place is ideal .
• emrystravel (4/5): Not great. - We booked a weekend here because we wanted somewhere in Lincoln where we could walk to all the sights, and it certainly turned out convenient, and reasonably priced. The council car park behind the hotel is a bit scruffy but did work well for us. I was disappointed to find an automated checkin rather than humans. It's hard working these systems when you have not seen them before. I had uninstalled the phone app which might have helped checkin because its privacy policy says they share your personal data with an unspecified list of other companies. We had a "premier plus" room. That had the advantage of being on the top floor, away from the traffic. The room windows do not open, meaning they are impossible to clean from the inside. That means they are dirty and dingy. There were three problems with our room. There was supposed to be complimentary water, and there was none. We were given two large towels but only one small one. And the TV didn't respond to the remote. We raised these at the front desk on the second day and the water and towel was fixed by the evening. Another remote was left in the room, but whoever brought it didn't bother to remove the old one or check the new one worked, because the TV didn't respond to that one either. The shower worked well but there is some sort of restrictor on the basin tap which means the water just trickles out. There is supposed to be an all-day bar. We went for a drink at 16:45 and there was nobody to serve us. We waited a while unserved but eventually left to find a pub. We met some people in the lift who said they'd waited 15 minutes unserved.

We spent 3 nights there during the week and the staff was so kind and friendly. They gave a surprise gift to my daughter and we were so touched!

Yes, the mattresses are superb as are the linens and pillows and the showerhead with great water pressure. The staff is friendly, accomodating and great fun and certainly the location cannot be better. Breakfast offered everthing one could want. Will be back!!!!

The staff were lovely, very helpful and polite, the room was clean and tidy we were on the 4th floor so was quiet. We had the best evening meal ever in a hotel .. and a lovely breakfast too.. which was self serve and plentiful..
• RogerTurnerNottm (10/5): A very pleasant 2 night experience - The room was lovely and we were luckily treated to a scenic view of Lincoln Catherdral from the window. We always book a Premier Plus room and this was as good as they always are. The breakfast was free (due to a special offer), and we were pleasantly surprised to find it was one of the best breakfasts we have experienced at a Premier Inn. The staff in the morning were lovely too - special shout out to Andrea and Bev, who couldn't do enough for us and all the other guests. The location is quite close to the city centre and it is a short walk up the steep hill to the castle and the cathedral - both highly recommended to visit. The only minor issue was that to get onto the free Ultimate Wifi (with a Plus Room) it was very challenging and unnecessarily complex. However, after quickly getting through to the wifi guy (you get a number to call), it was all sorted within minutes. But Premier Inns really need to address the complexity of connecting to the Ultimate Wifi. A very pleasant 2 night experience - thank you all.

The staff were very personable and it was “service with a smile” The breakfast and evening meal were delicious and very good value for money. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Lincoln.

It was very busy so there was a wait for a table but staff worked hard to keep the wait to a minimum. Reasonable parking in the public car park next door. We will definitely stay again.
• hannahnR5451DC (4/5): Staff were lovely if you could find them, overall a poor experience. - More staff needed at this site. Wait times to check in were far too long, serving at bar took ages as it was not manned. I gave up twice. Room cards were deactivated during our second day leaving us unable to get back into our rooms, after being out in the cold and rain. Again no staff to help and then had to join long queue to be seen and supported. Couldn't have a drink at the bar while waiting as no one there. Couldn't use toilets while waiting as accessible only with room card. People who hadn't pre booked breakfast were turned away as 'not enough food' Conversations with others in the queue to check in, or in my case to reactivate my room key, were that others felt this was the worst premier in they have stayed at. I would probably have to agree. Our 'family room' was basically one line of beds, no other space, no sitting area except on the beds, only 2 cups for 4 people. Not a room for a family, 4 people crammed into a standard room. One of the beds was clearly a cheap fold out, but it was so hard and uncomfortable we all just squashed into the double and sofa bed. There is no parking provided, but a reasonably priced multistory one is just next door. WiFi was terrible, slow and patchy. I refused to pay the additional for the premium so just used my own data.

• BigJohn1946 (10/5): Best Premier Inn Experience Yet - What an exceptional hotel. We had an accessible room and it was huge with the most comfortable king size bed ever. The bathroom was superb. Fitted with the latest accessories such as super strong chair for those post operative or simply mobility restricted guests. The wifi was excellent and finally the food was first class. Thank you to all the friendly staff who made our brief stay so enjoyable.

Simple proceedures, friendly and helpful staff on hand.Clean rooms with not overgenerous freebies,Reasonable restaurant inhouse, car parking (expensive) next door though many others in the vacinity, and many restaurants,takeaways and shops locally.
• carolfI2928EK (8/5): Good hotel, but no breakfast! - The hotel was the good standard that i expect from Premier Inn, but BE WARNED there is no where to get breakfast. The nearest place was a 53 minute walk away, along busy roads (i didn't have a car and the buses were once an hour at best, less at weekends). As Premier Inn make a selling point of breakfasts, i think they should warn people of this on their website. Or sell the sort of 'packed breakfasts' that you can get at Travelodge.

Comfortable bed and very clean room. The only downside is that the parking is in a separate garage next door. Cost was £7 for 24 hours. There is no access from the hotel.

The family room was lovely and spacious. Check in was swift and easy with a very friendly woman. Breakfast on the 2 days was very nice, lots of choice and again very friendly staff who engaged with the children. My grandson requested dippy egg from the chef which was perfectly cooked. Parking in the nearby station was easy and just a few minutes walk away. Would definitely stay here again.
• X7963GDlynnes (6/5): Who's sleeping in my bed?? - On arrival, Friday 5th September, we found the front line receptionist rather abrupt as he was dealing with another customer who had actually said we could check in first but he refused to do so. Eventually, when he got to us, we checked in, we then asked him if he could recommend a nearby pub/restaurant for a meal and drinks. He told us he wouldn't know as he was muslim so we went to our room and googled places in the area. The following evening, we came with our friend who was another of your paying guests to check in to her room. The receptionist this time was lovely and helpful, she asked us for our car registration, something the chap before hadn't asked us. She gave us a key card for no.5 which at first wouldn't open then after changing the card we managed to enter the room. Imagine our shock when we realised someone was already in that room. The receptionist on Friday had given our friends room to someone else! Eventually she was provided with room 106. On check out on Sunday 7th we asked the now different receptionist did she know where we could go to breakfast. Imagine our surprise when she asked why hadn't we been given the printout of all the nearby places to eat that we should have been given at check in. What a lot of time and trouble that would have saved us on the first night. The staff we saw and spoke to on Saturday and Sunday were amazingly helpful and couldn't apologise enough to us. I don't think the chap working for you on Friday is giving your company a good advertisement

• MariaTCI (10/5): Great stay! - Great hotel! Close to train station and shopping area. Rooms are on the smaller side so not suitable for longer stays but great for 2-4 nights. Beds are comfortable and staff are great! Only con would be the free internet is painfully slow
• Sueperscout (4/5): No breakfast!!! - Room is reasonably clean but a bit dated. We had the disabled room as my husband is disabled, there are no drawers! Where do you put your clothes? Especially your underwear? Don’t disabled people wear pants?? Where is the famous Premier Inn breakfast? Not here that’s for sure. There is no adjoining pub, so no breakfast or dinner available which after a long journey is very poor. The website doesn’t mention it - the website actually says there is a pub next door (which there was last year, we used it for breakfast when we stayed here for the same event) and they even give you a card with your room key that asks how you want your eggs and tells you the breakfast times! Get your act together Premier Inn and get your facts right. I’ll book an Airbnb next year because at least I’ll have a kitchen to cook food in.

• 211masump (10/5): Excellent Experience and Staff - Excellent customer service received from Demi and Ruth. From checking in to when we left Demi was very polite, kind and helped with anything required. Ruth was on hand to provide a service with a smile and ensure anything that could make our stay comfortable and easy she would try her best to accommodate. Overall a short stay but the experience with Ruth and Demi is what makes guests return. Honestly exceptional people with impeccable manners.

Nobody on reception, door to office wide open revealing disgusting state of room. Someone (friendly nevertheless) not in uniform checked us in after checking with an invisible person around the corner where to find our key. Room was clean, and quiet as requested. However it was looking a bit old and dowdy, as was the bathroom. Loud squeak on door, old fashioned shower curtain over a bathtub. No hangers. The pillow menu bag was soaking wet underneath - condensation? Perhaps housekeeping should be checking this. Also there was only one large and one small towel for two people. We would have reported this to staff if we had seen anyone on reception the whole time we stayed there. Luckily it didn’t really matter as we didn’t spend much time in the hotel. The cost was high in comparison to the standard we would normally expect from Premier Inn.
• 740amandeepk (10/5): staff were superstars! - my name is riya and i would just like to thank the premier inn staff, for their amazing support. long story short, as it is a little personal i came to see my boyfriend, i am not going to mention who or what as this is personal and rather a positive review, i was feeling overwhelmed to a point where i felt like i wanted to pass out and i believe it was sayhan who recognised the situation, and took me out for a chat & reassured me professionally and even going into his car to grab his coke bottle for me etc. it goes to show the extended services receptionists offer as well as their duty. as i came back to derby (where i travelled from), feeling less overwhelmed and more put together. and all the very best to all the premier inn staff, i was only there for a few hours so not much about the stay, however a big shoutout to your staff! give that man a raise!

• travelcrazy727 (10/5): Basic but fit the purpose. - Basic room with a comfy bed. I was attending a wedding, and the room had plenty of well lit mirrors for dressing. Noticed if you turn all lights off except the one across the headboard,it enhances TV viewing. There were 2 false fire alarms the first night. Apparently,their smoke detectors are so sensitive that shower steam and deodorant spray set them off. Better safe than sorry, I guess. Great location and close to city centre. Letchworth is a very nice place with a great variety of shops and markets all within a 10-minute walk. Would give the Wetherspoons a miss. Poor service and overly noisy. Would recommend.

The room and bathroom were impeccably clean, and the beds were large, fluffy, and exceptionally comfortable. A warm, refreshing shower followed by a proper cup of tea made for the perfect start to the day. Many thanks once again to everyone at PI LGC!

• danielmI3043WC (4/5): Shocking and stressful - stay away - Climate control broken so rooms are too hot. You need to keep the window open and listen to traffic at night until the sun comes up and turns the whole room into a light show because the curtains have holes all over them! No point in complaining to the front desk or to customer relations because although a "good night guarantee" board is on the front desk they won't honour it and will insult you instead with a partial refund of around £20 for a £60 room. Best part...there was no restaurant so you can't even get something to eat or drink. WARNING TO ALL: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Great location, and although there is no car park, there are a few nearby that are easily walkable! The hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable, and I slept very well both nights I was there, I would highly recommend.

Check in was easy and fast and I got all the information I needed for my whole stay. The reception (I can’t remember her name) offered me a latte whilst I was waiting to leave for work.

When we entered our room there was a mug with coffee and biscuits in which was a kind gesture. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Leicester as it’s very quiet and the staff are exceptional.

Great location. It would be great if parking was actually provided. Great service. Would highly recommend. I recommend parking at Letchworth station or the Wynd car park, depending on arrival and departure times. The parking suggested by PI is not appropriate.
• Q6898JUkerryj (10/5): Breakfast - We like to drop in to Letchworth for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We cannot fault the staff in particular Pete, Leanne, Anne and Curtis. Fantastic service and breakfast cooked to perfection. 9 times out of 10 we don't even need to ask for the vegetarian option as some one has already put our order in for us. Staff always go out of their way to make sure we are seated even when really busy. A friendly bunch, brilliant with the kids and the reason we return week after week.

Not publicised enough on the web site that there's no food, and I was told it is being made into an American Diner, will open at 12, so there will never be breakfast available. I won't be staying again, and this is just typical of Premier Inn. I haven't stayed in one for a while , and won't be again. In fact, I'd rather stay in any other hotel chain, than your appalling chain. Marketing doesn't make a good experience you know!

Chris the team member on duty was an absolute star, no Matter how many times we troubled her, she was always polite, cheerful, and extremely helpful. I have stayed in many Premier Inns and encountered many colleagues. Chris is by far one of the best I have encountered .

The hotel even though it was on a busy road it was quiet in the room !! The hotel has all your basic needs that you need !! It was in a central location for what we needed!
