Guest Reviews
- Per poulsen (10/5): - Fin beliggenhed, venligt personale
- R6462EYanthonyd (10/5): Good overnight stay - Stayed here for just an overnight stay after our work christmas party. Check-in was easy, the room and bathroom were clean and up to good standards. Would gladly stay here again. Only thing to improve was that there wasn't any trash bins in the room or bathroom.
- B5325MCmartad (10/5): Best affordable stay - I loved it so much, i recommend it to anyone who wants a good night sleep and to wake up to a warm breakfast. Very friendly staff, clear experience!
- dariadD4644LJ (10/5): Outstanding experience - One of the best hotels I have ever been to! Staff were lovely and food was delicious! The room was all prepared and clean for us. Would recommend and I am thinking to go again!
- 37jesicap (10/5): Amazing - Is an amazing hotel and staff, we been 5 days and feel like home. Very good location, 10 minutes walk from the station and many shop around,
- 839naomid (2/5): Dreadful - Dreadful.
1st room we were allocated had overwhelming smell of damp and mould. Could feel myself breathing in the damp. Receptionist kindly changed our room to the only other room available which was an accessible room. As I opened the door I was greeted by an equally strong smell, this time the smell was what I can only describe as stale cigarette smoke and a mild urine smell. There was nothing we could do as was told this was the only other room so I sprayed deodorant around the room. I couldn’t sleep properly as the smell seemed to be embedded in the sheets and pillows. Had it not been so late in the night when we arrived I would have left and found alternative accommodation. Broken, dangerous shower room door, flickering bedside lamp, only one towel. I would advise against staying at the hotel.
- fahadf724 (10/5): Clean room - Location was prime, receptionist was very helpful and welcoming, room was clean and price was value to money. On arrival the cjeckin process was very smooth
- fdarby1 (10/5): Excellent hotel, very personable staff! - Cannot recommend this hotel stay enough! Visited for 4 days (3 nights) for my partner’s birthday and I had noted this on our booking to the staff. We were absolutely delighted to find that Sam and her colleagues had prepared a little birthday bundle on behalf of Hub for my partner. Alongside the excellent location, lovely staff, value for money, and great facilities, we were very impressed with this personable touch which can truly be rare in London. Thank you to Sam and the team for making our stay perfect :) will definitely visit again.
- NelsonScotland (10/5): Brilliant location, great staff - Had the best experience here, we had forgotten to book one of the rooms and hotel was very busy. However Sam was a complete star, she helped us book the room without any stress.
We had a lovely stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay central London.
- V3231PPkatea (10/5): London Hubs - Very friendly experienced staff who were helpful.
Excellent breakfast for the price, both healthy and nutritious
Very comfortable bed and cleanliness in both room and lounge/ restaurant
Would come again and recommend this hotel to all as it’s convenient to tube station and museums are within walking distance
- Akeem (6/5): - The bathroom is not suitable and looks like am staying at a care facility
- Sherpa09205198004 (10/5): Good central location - Friendly helpful staff. Ideal location. Clever rooms, which were clean and functional. Only downside was no where to hang wet towels.
- P8826BPpaulc (8/5): If Bed&Breakfast is what you need, this was the most comfortable bed and a lovely breakfast each day. Need nothing more! - Excellent location, 1 min from Goodge St tube, round the side of Heals. We paid for a larger room, which was not exactly large, so I don't know how small the standard room is, but anyway most of it was taken up by the enormous and VERY comfortable bed so we had 3 very good nights. No cooked breakfast available but the continental breakfast was perfect. Staff pleasant & helpful. Also we were very glad to have a window (east facing, morning sun pouring in) which makes a huge difference. I would have enjoyed it much less in a windowless room. Would be nice if you could request that at time of booking perhaps?
- gaillE5687IX (10/5): Location, great value ! - A very conveniently located hotel for Tottenham Court Road/Oxford St with good transport links nearby. I had a larger than average Standard room with windows. It was clean and very comfortable, despite being onto TCR. Staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Peter on reception. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast amazing value ! £6 for unlimited continental breakfast (fruits, yoghurt, pastries, orange juice, tea, coffee) . Room rates not out of the way for central London. Will definitely stay again !
- Curiosity54808098964 (10/5): Excellent - Location really good, staff very friendly and attentive. Nice room with everything I needed. Thought the floor could have been a bit cleaner but then I am very fussy. Would defo stay again.
- matthewmA5113MU (4/5): Not great for plus size patrons and some rooms have no windows - We booked Goodge Street venue as we had previously stayed in the area. The ease of access from Paddington using the underground with no changes was quite straightforward (Euston Square or Tottenham Court Road).
The visit was for a birthday celebration in London.
The hotel itself is in a very good area with many cafés, small pubs and even a supermarket within three or four minutes walk. Theatres and many LGBTQ venues are approximately 12 to 15 minutes walk away.
Arrival and check-in was very straightforward and efficient. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
The elevators are small, but very quick and there seem to be a little to no waiting to use them.
From this point, things became relatively underwhelming to disappointing.
The first room I was assigned had to no Windows. Personally, this unsettled me and is an option I would never select. I found the room to be claustrophobic and stuffy. It was surprising that this was not announced before beforehand in any of the literature as typically hotels with this kind of limitation sell these rooms at a lower cost - a lack of natural light is a huge down point as far as I am concerned. Personally I am not a fan of confined dark space so this personal quirk heightened my displeasure further.
I went to reception and thankfully there was an alternative room I could be assigned. The staff were very friendly, understanding and accommodating. The second room was smaller, but having light made all the difference so I was heartened by this.
The bathroom small but appear to be well designed. It was stay over substance .
If you are sharing with someone you do not know well, please be aware that the entire bathroom is a glass box. There is a modesty screening to this that reaches up to approx the 180/185cm level. If any party using your room is taller than this, they would be able to see over quite easily.
The hand basin was a beautiful semi circular design however when water from the faucet - turned on at a average or higher speed - sprayed water up across the mirror, across the only worksurface and onto the only space where towels could be kept.
The door to the shower cubicle was very narrow and accessing the shower was a problem. I am a XXL so I fear anybody with a larger or heavy body would struggle to even enter the cubicle. There was a monsoon shower head and a standard showerhead, but the water pressure was below average.
All in all this hotel has a number of quirks which would dissuade me from staying there again. Whilst well designed to utilise space there were a number of disadvantages to the design in both usability and that would impact anybody with a larger body
- E7489BEadnanh (8/5): Best - Really enjoyed my stay in Eltham
Friendly staff I want to go there again and recommend my friends to go there as well
Staff always available food was too good as well
- sobiac2025 (10/5): Best - "My experience of staying at the hotel was very good. The staff, location, food - everything was excellent. The lady at the reception welcomed me warmly, which matters a lot when you're tired. The entire staff was very friendly, and I would love to come back again.
- Anders (8/5): - Passade våran resa utmärkt. Bra frukost
- r0bwalks (8/5): Short Business Stay - I stayed in a larger room for 2 nights. Check-in was simple, just scanned a QR code and activated the room key - no interaction with staff needed. Room was well insulated from external noise. Bed was comfy and gluten-free muesli and soya milk was available at breakfast. Free wifi was decent. Location great for my needs - close to offices and plenty of places to shop/eat nearby.
Slight negatives, air-con was very noisy (same for other 4 members of my group), USB charging port didn't work, toilet paper cheap/thin, room had no window or natural light.
Overall a good option for a short mid-week business stay, but don't expect luxury.
- 344howardc (8/5): Good experience - Good overall experience.Outside of hotel a bit run down looking. Room and facilities all as described. Comfortable for our stay
- 444patsys (8/5): Overall a good hotel. - The room (426) was VERY compact! The bed was very high and access on only one size. As an older couple ( mid 60's) we found it difficult to get in and out of the bed. No tea making facilities in the room, although there were free machines in reception and you could take the cups to your room. Other than that everything was excellent. Lovely hot shower, although you would have trouble getting in the shower if you were on the large side. Very clean. Staff helpful and friendly.
- B3702UGmatthewh (10/5): Great staff, okay-ish food, signal and parking terrible - Staff were brilliant, food was okay-ish, parking isn’t great as you get charged every time you drive in and out. Signal also is rubbish, I paid £5 for the (better WIFI) but it was still rubbish, apart from that it was a good stay.
- F722OQmichaelg (4/5): Fair to middling - It was a standard Premiere Inn experience, usually as it should be for a budget hotel.
I arrived about 90 mins before check in and asked if my room was ready.I was told it was but there would be a £15 charge to check in early.
- Dorset_Solo_traveler (4/5): Poor hotel - I arrived at 2.30 on a Friday, I am aware that check in is not until 3 pm but I arrived in London by train and headed straight for the hotel. The receptionist was very pleasant but told me there was a £15 charge for checking in early. So I opted to sit in the reception area and have a cup of tea, knowing that the likelihood was that my room was ready and sitting empty. Eventually we were told we could check in however when the receptionist told the people waiting, he told everyone ahead of me although I had been waiting longer than the others. I was reading so did not notice at first until the queue had built up.
There are two lifts in the hotel and clearly no service lift as one of the lifts was out of order and I noted that the cleaning staff were also using the single lift which delayed hotel guests considerably in this 6 floor hotel where even the reception is on the 1st floor. I can not cope with lugging my suitcase up and down 5 flights so had to wait until the single lift became free.
I have stayed at Hub hotels before and made use of the technology. This time my iPad would not connect to the television and the television was tuned to all the wrong channels, i.e. channel 1 was More4 and BBC 1 was on channel 22. Also the panel where the lights are controlled froze when I needed to turn the lights on and off. If i left it a while it started to work but this was quite inconvenient when I needed to get up in the night and in the end I used the torch on my phone.
In the morning the overhead shower was not working, all the water was cascading from the connection above the shower head so I could only use the hand held shower. The room was fairly clean but quite worn looking.
Although the staff were polite this is the worst of the Hub Hotels I have stayed at so far.
- A3148BYcharlottet (10/5): Great stay, thoroughly recommend it - Having a medical appointment in London my husband and I stayed in the Hub by Premier Inn Goodge Street London, we booked a bigger room wanting a larger bed and we were not disappointed, the room was lovely and clean the facilities were excellent, the staff were more than helpful, the temperature was at least 30deg outside but the air conditioning system kept the room at a very comfortable temperature. The manager Sam could not have been more helpful. We will definitely stay at the Goodge Street hub again and fully recommend them.
- Culture58940975894 (8/5): Satnav access to car park needs correcting. Use hotel sat nav rather than the one given on the website. - Satnav instructions for the car park ae wrong and would take guests us to the other side of the main road where there was no car park, just a Shell garage. The hotel's satnav address would have been adequate as the car park was immediately alongside the hotel.
- jft678 (10/5): Thoroughly recommend - Really good hotel, great location, nice staff, absolutely no noise, good value breakfast. Special thanks to Henry who was particularly helpful in getting some property I left in the room returned to me.
- GBland (8/5): Decent stay in great location but room for improvement - Firstly, location great - around the corner from Goodge Street tube station and direct line to Battersea power station. Easy walk to Oxford Street, Covent Garden etc. Many theatres not far either. Rooms are basic and clean. Rooms towards back of hotel quiet
However, star dropped as larger room we booked only had a double bed not the king size expected (and reason we upgraded). Room was also set as single (one set of towels etc) when we had booked for two adults. Resolved by asking reception for another set. Also, only one USB power point and this was not working which meant we could not charge our devices. Had to sit in breakfast area to wait for device to charge. Free hot drinks if staying though. Friendly staff too.
Would have liked to be able to use check in kiosks for early check in as per our booking (and info received re checking in online) but they don’t start until 3pm (regular check in) so despite checking in online and expecting a quick pick up of key on arrival, we had to wait in queue of people dropping off bags.
We would stay again - just not worthy of 5 stars…. yet!
- michellehA189OO (4/5): Not a good hotel to stay in. - The distance is quite far to walk going to train station around 15-20 mins. especially with a 70 y/o it is very inconvenient. The hotel room is not well-cleaned, blankets and pillow cover felt itchy. The staff at the reception is not always available, We have to wait few minutes for them to turn up. The wifi very slow. It was very dirty outside the hotel heading to the stairs. The hallway & lift was very dusty and carpet seems too old and dirty.
- MattJKav (10/5): Excellent value for money. You won't be disappointed. - This is my 3rd time staying here and it's just as good as before. Awesome central location. Very quick check in and out. Helpful friendly staff and great rooms. You can't do better.
- I8131JIjacobk (8/5): Lovely stay — just small touches to improve - Good Location!
I really enjoyed my time here. The staff were warm, the room was tidy, and the facilities were convenient. The only minor suggestion I’d make is to ensure shower gel is always refilled and towels are refreshed with a cleaner scent. Otherwise, a great stay and I’d happily return.
- r3d2p (10/5): Excellent Value. - We had a lovely overnight stay at the Premier Inn in Eltham (SE9 3NS). The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet – perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was amazing – fresh, tasty, and with a great variety to choose from.
All the staff had a happy disposition and were friendly, approachable, and more than happy to assist with any information or guidance we needed. Their warm attitude really made the experience even better. Thank you for the excellent service – we’ll definitely be back!
- colmn371 (8/5): Good value in London - Hotel delivered on location and cleanliness. The lady in reception was friendly and helpful. Overall it was good value for money.
- F2849GEchrism (10/5): Great hotel - My favourite premier inn! Great position but its the staff that make it better. Sam went out of her way to make it a smooth stay for me. Close to everyrhing you need!
- sophiecS6902VQ (10/5): Perfect for a few nights - perfect for a few nights. small room but had everything we needed. very clean and staff were lovely, friendly and helpful
- 270gillianc (10/5): Fabulous stay yet again at a Premier Inn - Excellent hotel, lovely staff, room spotless. Food Excellent and very well presented.
Only downside is paying for parking.
- kathryn820212 (4/5): Worst Premier Inn I’ve been to - On arrival we were given 2 disabled rooms as there were no others available. It wasn’t what I’d asked for but we had no other option as they said they were fully booked. I was very disappointed as both rooms had a musty smell, no windows that could open and no fan in the bathroom. It was very shabby and unclean.
- tishymcgee (10/5): Perfect stay! Just what I wanted - The hotel is well run. Staff are very helpful. Rooms clean with great air-con. My room was quiet breakfast both hot and continental was tasty and plentiful. Will be back!!
- jameswL2806VF (10/5): Birthday Stay - I went with my sister for her 18th Birthday to watch Billie Eilish at the 02, the hotel staff after I told them this put a card, chocolates and a balloon in the room for her which I really appreciated. And as for the room it was great, and completely up to a great standard as I expect. Thank you to the Premier Inn Eltham staff for making our stay very special.
- 62osia (8/5): Delivered what it said on the box! - Excellent bed. So much so I would like to buy one.
The WiFi was a bit of a let down.
It delivered what was said on the packet.
I didn't have breakfast, but family members who did said it was excellent.
