Guest Reviews
- dellp641 (10/5): Great stay at Tolworth Premier Inn - Stayed at Tolworth on Saturday 29th November, Claire on reception was fantastic as were the two ladies working the restaurant on Saturday night. Unfortunately I didn’t get their names but nothing was too much bother for them.
This is the second time I’ve stayed here and it won’t be the last.
The staff cannot do enough for you and they are a credit to the company. Thanks for a great stay. 👏👏
- BWRIGHT66 (10/5): Clean and functional - Very handy for high street and train, food in Bar & Block was good and staff were friendly, we come to stay here every year and will be back
- R6568KNannem (10/5): Great Staff, and Location. - We cannot praise this Hotel more highly.
We stayed four times in the last few weeks. The Staff are amazing, helpful, and very attentive to every guest.
The location is perfect for us as Family live nearby. Didn’t eat here but the restaurant looked great. Thank you so much at check in, each person we met was so courteous and professional . We will return.
- R6568KNannem (10/5): Excellent Hotel, Staff and Location. - My Godchildren and I stayed at the Tolworth Tower location last weekend. The Staff are absolutely amazing, each and every one helpful and kind. Mani could not have been more professional, he checked us in, served us at breakfast and is an excellent ambassador for the Chain. We also commend Ray the great Chef, he could not have been more kind and helpful. I have many food intolerances and he was so concerning about them. He guided me to the correct food products he had cooked so that I did not eat anything i was intolerant to. After each breakfast he went around to every table and asked if everything had been ok. Quite unusual and very kind. We will stay there again.
Well done Tolworth Tower Folk.
- mrr327 (6/5): Great value for the location, more than a little worn, friendly staff. Like the average of Premier Inn locations. Brea - Great value for the location, more than a little worn, friendly staff. Like the average of Premier Inn locations. Breakfast below average.
- simonemS7215AN (10/5): Delicious food and friendly staff - The staff were so friendly at this hotel and made my stay with two young children pleasant and easy. The food was really great and we headed out each morning with our bellies full after a great spread for breakfast. Serious allergies were taken care of and there were plenty of options for a nut-free child. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet and the water was really hot for showers at any time of the day. We had a very pleasant stay.
- nickyo659 (10/5): Excellent breakfast! - Went December 2025
Good price
Good room
Good location!
Excellent breakfast on 16th December from Ray the chef - thankyou Ray!
- C165NAmaureenm (10/5): Tooting stay - Clean hotel and rooms. Exceptionally friendly staff.
Close to public transport buses and tube. Plenty of places to eat
- Rolf (6/5): - Das Zimmer war groß, kein Zimmersevice.
Personal manchmal etwas überfordert.
- Culinaryclass (10/5): excellent service - thank you Vivi and Sarah for the excellent service with a smile. Very helpful staff ,good communication skills.. thank you
- 539ilieb (10/5): Viviana - We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it was very nice, Viviana who took care of us was very sweet and helpful, also the food was very good
- 493mugurelc (10/5): Viviana - We had a wonderful experience during our stay at the hotel. From the moment we arrived, Viviana took amazing care of us. She was incredibly nice, patient, and helpful with absolutely everything we needed — from check-in to recommendations and small details that made our stay easier.
The service overall was great, and we also ate at the hotel. The food was delicious, fresh, and nicely presented. It really added to the comfort of our stay.
Thanks to Viviana and the whole team for making our trip enjoyable. We would definitely come back!
- mattdX1232XO (8/5): Pleasant stay, very typical or a Premier inn - Very pleasant stay, was greeted by Claire, the manager when we got there. She was very friendly and sorted out our parking.
We were allowed an early check in although we hadn't paid as our room was ready.
The room was clean and tidy and part of the more modern layout.
The only thing that let it down was there was no hot water in the morning, I'm not sure why but it didn't ruin the stay I just had a rather chilly morning shower.
Paid for breakfast which was very nice as well.
- I9691LCestherd (8/5): Comfy bed and quiet room - Comfy bed, quiet room, as you expect from the Premier Inn. Nice breakfast, floor in restaurant sticky. Overall good value for money.
- catherinecK1595OU (10/5): Great experience again - Recommend very good value and great customer service, restaurant great value and fantastic options, staff v customer friendly
- youngsoonk814 (8/5): Service - I like fish and chips, wings were great and the tikka chicken served by the chef on Friday night. The service from Sarah and Vivi was very nice, they are very kind and helpful and upsold us the new menu!Room is clean and comfortable.recommend this hotel we feel very welcomed
- N6551ZUkayh (2/5): Well below standard! - This place has completely put us off booking a Premier Inn in future. We have stayed in many premier Inn's over the years and have always felt confident that we would be staying in a clean and comfortable room. Tolworth was a big disappointment, the whole place felt unclean. Our room key cards would not work so we were given a different room, on the third day the key cards for that room also stopped working. We were woken up by the room alarms being tested without prior warning. A worker randomly came to clean the shower head and climbed into the bath wearing work boots, he screwed off the shower head and whooshed it around in a bucket before replacing it and leaving without wiping his dirty feet marks from the bath! The carpets were grubby, there were marks on the walls, dents in two lampshades and all the surfaces were sticky. The window was covered in fingerprints and smears and the curtains had dirty marks. we only sampled breakfast once, that was enough! No tomatoes, no black pudding, no mushrooms and under cooked eggs!
- Traveler818223 (10/5): Premier experience - First time here, hopefully not the last. Very easy check-in, incredibly clean room, very well decorated, amazing firm bed, fantastic shower, with immediate hot water. Genuinely nothing that could be bettered. Breakfast was brilliant, continental choice and hot choice too. Many coffees and teas etc, only thing here, no oat milk only soya alternative.
Mani was very attentive and helpful, both at check-in and breakfast. He should be employee of the month.
- lorrainebI1919VD (10/5): Morning staff members - Excellent stay no concerns, Staff member Maria and the young lad with the arm tattoo (sorry can’t remember your name) absolutely amazing service from these two staff members. Extremely accommodating polite friendly and a big asset to the company. I have stayed at a lot of Premier inns and I can say these two staff members went out thier way to make me feel so welcome. Thank you two for making my stay memorable. And thank you for the direction I needed. Appreciate you both being so kind. I won’t hesitate to book with premier inn again. Big thank you to you both
- Paradise07910898283 (10/5): 2 night stay - Great stay clean and comfortable
Breakfast was really good - lots of choice and Ray was extremely helpful with food intolerance menu questions - great value for money & friendly staff.
- Y918GDfrankn (8/5): Premier Inn Sutton - Stay 1 night, easy auto scan check in, key drop check out, did a meal deal when we arrived evening meal and breakfast. Good night's sleep 😴 easy access to public transport
- lesleybV1443YV (10/5): A pleasant stay in a busy location - This is one of the quietest Premier Inns we have stayed in, despite quite a lot of building works around. The restaurant for breakfast was very well presented and pleasant staff.
With regard to staff, we must mention Karl on reception when we arrived. Our stay was because of a visit to the Royal Marsden hospital and we asked Karl for details of buses to catch, he very kindly printed details and brought them up to our room which helped us greatly.
All in all, a very pleasant stay which we may have to repeat in the future.
- youtoobe (10/5): Always a friendly welcome - Always a friendly welcome
We have stayed a few times at this Premier Inn and have always had a warm welcome and excellent friendly service. It's in a really convenient location. We wanted to travel by train and it is less than 8 minutes walk from Sutton station, We were visiting family and friends, but there was also a very good choice of restaurants within easy walking distance. Breakfast was excellent as usual
- Traveler37809364210 (10/5): Great Experience - Stayed on Thursday, had lovey stay, great service, room very clean and great service in reception and restaurant , will come back soon thanks
- E1335SRandyc (2/5): Disappointed - Requested a room clen and it wasn't done so left me with dirty towels and full bin.
Also, no hot water when I wanted to shower at 6.30 in the evening.
Manager was apologetic but that didn't solve the problem
- stewartb679 (10/5): Great stay. - Great location. Amazing and friendly staff. Great food and good value. Can’t wait to stay gain. Claire was such a great manager and couldn’t do enough to help.
- callied299 (10/5): Workers - Mentioned it once and I’ll say it again night 2 was even more pleasant due to the workers at dinner, specifically kasia and Scott what lovely service
- MrRobdobs (10/5): Very friendly staff, excellent location - Great experience at the Premier Inn staff for absolutely excellent the breakfast experience was great. Couldn’t find them.
- billym926 (10/5): Marvelous - Friendly helpful staff who went above and beyond to assist our 3 day stay! The restaurant food was excellent considering Raymond the Chef was on his own! Superb!! Juicy steak n chips!! Waitresses were delightfully happy and engaged well making it a memorable few days! Thank you!!! We shall come again!! 😌
- 0JayJay0 (4/5): Poor experience, blame placed on us - Initially the experience was good. The lift was broken but luckily we were only on the 2nd floor.
The room cleanliness was good. The only issue we had with the room was the temperature. The air-conditioning barely worked so wouldn't cool down. There was no window to open. Given we didn't come back to the hotel until very late and had an early start the next morning, we didnt have time to have someone come to the room in the middle of the night. We had to try to get what sleep we could. Which was very little.
The hot breakfast the next morning was very poor. It had clearly been sat out for ages and wasn't being refreshed. It was tough and chewy. We couldn't eat it.
We quickly left after breakfast as we had a 4 hour drive home.
Give time factors we chose not to stand around complaining to reception but to use your feedback tool. This unfortunately was used against us as an excuse not to take responsibility and offer any form of compensation what so ever. I have since asked to make a formal complaint and this so far has been ignored. So currently we're very unhappy the overall experience and especially with the "customer service" we received after.
- Dream12153588898 (8/5): Bed and breakfast were spot on, room needed some general upkeep maintenance. - Bed and breakfast were flawless.
Room nice and tidy.
A constant noise emanated from the bathroom, disturbing sleep and tv slow.
- victoriarR6501NI (4/5): The hotel is unbearable hot! I would not stay here again - The room and the building in general were ridiculously hot, Myself, my husband and our son barely slept a wink due to the intense heat. The air conditioning unit in our room barely worked. The restaurant was also unbearable hot even the lady who works in there was fanning herself to keep cool. We couldn’t wait to get outside for some fresh air. We stayed in October I dread to think what it’s like in the hotel during the warmer months.
To top it all off we were on the 6th floor and the lifts had broken down and we had to carry our luggage which was very difficult as my husband had a slipped disc in his back and was in agony. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean but I wouldn’t stay here again.
- SJSL1978 (10/5): Exactly what you need for a budget-friendly hotel - Everything I needed to make my business trip comfortable. The location was ideal, the room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely be booking in again.
- 287aliyahk (10/5): Great stay! - I had excellent stay here recently. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. The service was great, a ginger lady at reception was so helpful, looking up ways for me and my partner to get to the local hospital and even calling some local cab companies to get a cab that fit a wheelchair. I would definitely stay here again, the food was very good.
- Scenic19004083927 (4/5): Building riddled with problems - The air con was very poor, a trickle of cold air that made virtually no difference. To top it off I was on the seventh floor and arrived back late to find that all lifts were out of order and I had to use the stairs to climb up seven floors. It’s a relatively new building so these things are completely unacceptable.
- Elad (2/5): - Sharmutbly-lovely
- WillCSLDN (10/5): Pleasantly surprised - I haven't stayed with Premier Inn in years but needed a place to crash for a few nights due to a gap in other stays planned during a trip, so decided to aim for something lower cost.
I wasn't really expecting much to be honest but found the experience to be surprisingly good, room was clean and relatively modern, staff were lovely and very accommodating, food in the attached restaurant was of a good quality.
The clientele left a little to be desired sometimes, but that's not the proprietor's fault and somewhat expected at this end of the market.
All in all, for the price, I think it was great.
- wrmxh18 (6/5): Used to be better! - The room was not best maintained. The shower leaked water in numerous joints. The television didn't work. A lot of the menu was not available as there was no chips or ice cream available. (could have gone to Lidl!). The staff in the morning were not interested or helpful.
- Kaloian (10/5): - Good location
- luciarR1273BG (10/5): Sutton Premier Inn - The location and price were excellent! Staff was very friendly-check in and check out was efficient and easy. room was clean and very comfortable and would absolutely recommend. (FYI they only have body wash in shower so may want to bring your own shampoo/conditioner)
- Vern_Eagles (2/5): Dirty bathroom - Good location for south leaning but dirty room on arrival and Premier Inn eventually conceded and refunded most of the cost on the stay
- F6646MMtraceys (10/5): Perfect customer service for reception - We have stayed at this hotel twice in the last few weeks & twice the reception staff wasn’t made aware that we needed 2 travel cots for my granddaughters, we had travelled all the way from Grimsby (4hrs) & my 20month old granddaughter we tired & irritable & on both separate occasions the reception staff have resolved the matter extremely quickly (within 10min), the service we received was exceptional & the 2 separate staff members are a credit to this hotel, we are looking forward to returning in December
- Scenic15046341871 (2/5): Nightmare - Terrible night staff guy with tattoos
Had to change rooms three times as we're not cleaned and shower had mould in it coffee stains on table and hairs in bed my wife had to change the sheets and wee stains on duvet disgusting carpets had stains nightmare time
- Linda (8/5): - The location is convenient but in Summer one lift was often not working and the smell of rubbish came in from a skip . Lift smelt like cabbage a lot!
- heleno93 (10/5): Great air con - Quick and simple check in.
Comfortable bed, duvet and pillows.
Very clean bedroom and bathroom.
Liked the card scanner on the door to each floor which added an extra level of security.
Great air con.
- Deirdre (10/5): - It was a wonderful hotel, clean, quiet and the staff very professional and helpful when asked questions.
- Traveler768742 (6/5): Value for money - as long as you can lug a suitcase if arriving by car. - Have stayed before and yes, everything worked. The sofa bed was actually comfortable and ready made up as requested. enjoyed having a bath too!
But the car park is a trek with no dropping off point , as its on a busy main road).
Breakfast food is great ( i love fried eggs) although a garish , large Block Steak restaurant is not the most relaxing enviroment first thing in the morning. Thankfully the heatwave was over. Would the air con have coped in a 4th floor room with no opening windows?
- K5151ZIjanh (10/5): Little gem in Tooting Bec - The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean comfortable with Wi-Fi and coffee and tea facilities Highly recommend this hotel
- lissybubs (8/5): Pleasantly surprised - will return! - Stayed here for one night whilst we were moving our daughter into the area.
Great location. Right in the heart of Tooting Broadway high street with all its wonderful independent stores, ethnic restaurants and wonderful markets. We upgraded to a Premium Room to allow us more space and we were pleasantly surprised; nice comfy bed (pillows too hard), nice shower, nice lighting, very quiet at night, immaculately clean.
Really surprised to have air conditioning in the room especially as you cannot open the windows so that was lovely to be able to use.
Didn't opt for their breakfast as there are so many nice local places to try.
Only issue we had was the various bottles of soap/handwash/shampoo were empty upon arrival and when we asked for them to be topped up they only put a small amount in them - barely enough for one night. Come on Premier Inn...don't scrimp on the so called luxury items when someone has paid more to upgrade.
Tooting Broadway underground station (Northern Line) just a few minutes walk away. So many buses to take you surrounding areas too.
- daveccfc (8/5): I would stay here again - I stayed at the Tooting Premier Inn for 1 night, as I was working in London and this was cheap (£87) and you generally know what you are getting with a Premier Inn. I was not disappointed.
I had a standard room, which was up to the Premier Inn standard and equipped with everything I needed. Plenty of sockets, including beside the bed and USB's as well. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The bathroom had a nice walk in shower. There was no noise from outside (despite the hotel being in a busy area).
The room had aircon, as you can not open the window and the WIFI was ok for browsing etc.
The hotel is located approx 5-10m min from Tooting Broadway Tube and not much further to Tooting Bec Tube.
There are plenty of places to eat and drink within a short walk of the hotel.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
I would stay here again for work or if I was visiting London.
- az-manchester (6/5): Clean hotel only 20 mins from central London - Nice, clean hotel in the centre of tooting. Many restaurants and breakfast places within walking distance.
Underground is a 5/7 mins walk
What let the hotel down was the below;
1. WIFI was poor. (Please fix as its the 21st century)
2. Asked reception to clean room on day 3 but it was not done on our return. Ended up just taking some clean towels of them.
3. Requested Iron and Ironing board but did not have any spare as other guests were using everyday for the 3 days we were there.
Outside of the points above the value for money is great and its only a 20 mins tube ride into central London
- I7338CZsa (10/5): Amazing hotel highly recommended 👏🏻 - Amazing hotel . Highly recommended 👍 very nice staff, friendly , professional, very informative . Well done guys 👏🏻👏🏻
- DCarroll1968 (10/5): Great service, Serif and Steve. - We had a great experience. Our room was clean, warm , and the matress was very comfy. The shower was powerful and hot. We did not have breakfast or dinner so cannot comment about them. We were looked after in reception by Serif and Steve. Two nicer, friendlier men you could not get. They epitomised good service and attitude. Their friendly and helpful demeanour was fantastic. Thank you Steve and Thank you Serif. Our daughter who has moved to Sutton, was celebrating her birthday so we stayed over for 1 night. When your accommodation blends in with your visit it is wonderful because so often it can become to centre of a not so nice visit. We will be back. Being in the hospitality business in Killarney Ireland, we appreciate great service and attitude when we get it. See ye again in a couple of months. Derek and Valerie.
- HV331965 (10/5): Friendly, clean, quiet and comfortable hotel close to tube stations. - Good location in Tooting, close to tube stations and bus routes. Supermarkets, shops, restaurants and all facilities close by. Premier Plus rooms available which are clean and quiet with mini fridge. Easy to get in and out of London. Only downside no parking available.
- U8680IJroberte (10/5): Tooting visit - Although the hotel is quite away up the Tooting street towards Tooting Bec Station with no onsite parking it has friendly efficient staff, cool quiet rooms and a good breakfast at a reasonable price.
- tonyamarston (10/5): Just what we needed - Took my 8 year old and 4 year old grandchildren to London and stayed in Tooting Bec Premier Inn. Location handy for local shops and public transport. Our room was very quiet and the blackout curtains were great. The temperature in the room was just right and the beds were really comfy.
- ruthhhh2016 (10/5): Will definitely stay again! - I stayed here visiting my daughter in London as this was the closest Premier Inn to her home. The room was great, roomy, clean and welcoming. We really enjoyed the lovely big breakfasts. The staff were very friendly and will definitely stay here on our next trip to London x
- bethanr837 (2/5): Poor stay - Family room had one hand towel for the three of us and one tea bag with the drinks making facilities. There are no times advertised for breakfast or closing time for dinner. We had been at the hospital all day with our daughter and we got back at 9.50pm to be told that the restaurant was closed and they wouldn’t even let us have some water for our room. There was no one on reception when we left in the morning to take our daughter for her operation, and as we had to be there at a specific time we couldn’t hang around to ask for our room to be cleaned. We put the card on the door when we left but came back and the room hadn’t been cleaned. Again no one on reception when we got back from our trek to Sainsbury’s to get some cold food for dinner at 10.30pm so couldn’t even get fresh towels. All in all a very poor experience.
- elisabethjU8000MW (10/5): Great customer service from Jorge & Gabrielle - Fantastic experience at the Premier Inn Sutton - my child left a library book in the room after our stay and Jorge and Gabrielle made sure it was found and even organised for it to be posted back to us! Thank you so much - great customer service! We’ll be back next year.
- kidane (6/5): - Det var fint hotel bortsatte med betaling
- 731wulliek (10/5): Top time in Tooting. - A very nice clean hotel, with friendly staff.
A great location situated halfway between two underground stations.
Theres plenty of places to eat and drink and loads of shops.
- philipg357 (10/5): Visiting relatives and looking for very central hotel - Very good location. Very friendly staff. Nice big clean room. Will definitely book again asi will be coming to area again
- 795kayt (4/5): Not what we would expect - Thinnest pillow ever x1 (and I’ve bought Premier Inn pillows online) cooked breakfast lacklustre. One bath towel for a couple, staff were helpful and friendly but basics need sorting.
- V5891ZUclairew (2/5): Not the best - Not the best experience due to the shower being out of order the whole time so we couldn't shower at all during out stay! Breakfast also very basic.
- dermotto2022 (10/5): Good Value Hotel in London. - Excellent value hotel in London.
Exceeded our expectations in all respects.
Happy to recommend.
Maybe a little distance to tube but plenty buses.
Lots of eateries in the street
- cruiseship (6/5): Not the best welcome - I am a mature female travelling alone for the first time and on arrival (30th May 2025) 10 mins early I was told quite abruptly by the young dark curly haired female on the desk (who was just finishing her shift at 3) that I could not check it until 3pm. So the few of us who were there had to wait until 3pm on the dot to check in. There is a way to speak to guests and I think this person could do with a bit of customer service training. The room would definitely be sitting ready at that time - what would be the difference to just allow us in that few mins early especially as I was very tired after a long journey.
Fortunately the lady who took over from her was lovely as were all the other staff I came into contact with.
On accessing my allocated room there was a distinctive weird smell. At first I thought I could live with it but within a few minutes I knew that would not be possible. At reception the lovely lady found me an alternative room which was fine.
I did notice on the next evening as I came out of my room there was a definite smell of cannabis which is very off-putting.
I would appreciate if the hotel would deal with this promptly and successfully as staff cannot not notice that smell.
The stay was good apart from these things mentioned.
Hotel is in a good location near public transport (10 min walk to tube) and there are plenty of places to eat nearby if you don't eat in the hotel.
If you are staying more than one night you need to let reception know each day by 12pm if you would like your room cleaned. You need to go to the desk as there is not a phone to contact them.
There is not much tea/coffee provided in the room but you can collect more from the dedicated area near reception. Also extra towels are available there as well.
The air con in the room was very good and can be changed to heat or turned off so this was really appreciated.
