• 979iainl (10/5): Enjoyable experience. - Comfortable and convient. No car parking, short walk from councill car park. Short time parking outside hotel for unloading. but was all taken.
• markrat (4/5): Lost in Time - Stayed for 2 nights while visiting family in the area. The only reason for the 2 stars is down to the staff who were excellent at every stage. Without the staff the score would be a zero. The hotel is shabby and very out dated. Poor amenities in the room with lacklustre heating. No glass to drink from in the bathroom, awful tissue dispenser instead of toilet roll. Just small things but just cheapened the experience, stayed in better equipped Ed hostels to be honest. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were like wet sand bags so not a good sleep unfortunately. The decoration is straight out of the 80’s and really needs dragging into the current decade. The location is great though. Right at the start of town so plenty of scope for exploring the town. Saturday nights can be fruity with a pub next door. Had great fun at 1am watching and listening to the street fights and arguments outside my window. Such a shame but they practically have the monopoly on beds in Bude and seem to use this to keep it cheap and sell higher than it’s worth.
• 46milliei (10/5): Family staycation - We really enjoyed our stay, th room was well equipt, clean and tidy. Customer service was excellent- especially Vinnie at reception. Any help we needed she was quick to do her best to help in any way that she could. We will certainly be coming back.
• 85allisonp (10/5): Relax - Had a lovely weekend with family , the location is perfect only a few minutes walk to most of the beaches central to town. The room was very clean , had coffee, tea , hairdryer. Most rooms have a view of the canal . The breakfast we could not fault lots of choice , the staff were polite and friendly, especially the chef we had at breakfast Tony , what a lovely polite gent 😁

• 616jakej (10/5): Very welcome stay. - Great place to stay, close to the event we came down for. Very attentive and helpful staff. Food was good, couldn’t fault it. Bed was very comfortable and room just right for our needs.
• Footprints616991 (6/5): Average - Staff are amazing, very friendly. The standard rooms themselves are very tired and need some TLC. The ceiling is stained and tiles coming down in places. Chips on skirting boards in bathroom, shower is ancient and the head needs replacing. Overall a good stay though, normal standard of cleanliness that you expect with Premier Inn, along with the comfy bed.

• Nomad30682236996 (10/5): Another amazing stay at the Burgess Hill Premier Inn - Another amazing stay at the Burgess Hill Premier Inn. I stayed overnight Saturday 15/11 and returned Tuesday 18/11/2025. The staff were fantastic especially Zack. He recognised me and personally welcomed me back. He was an absolute gentleman. He served me in the restaurant, gave me directions to the nearest supermarket and gave me my preferred ground floor room for this stay and pre-booked a another ground floor room for my planned return visit in December. I cannot thank him enough. Fantastic service. Mark Kearskey
• Laverda76 (10/5): Another Perfect Stay. - This is our 3rd stay here. Staff were consistently really friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault the rooms at all. The breakfast and evening meal nextdoor at the WESSEX FLYER was delicious, high quality food. Faye and the team were friendly throughout providing excellent service. Another perfect stay.

• 476winnief (10/5): Time away with friends. - Lovely staff and brilliant location. Parking isn't to much of an issue with 2 car parks fairly close by. Breakfast selection was very good. Summerleaze beach with the wonderful sea pool, is a 2 minute walk away!

If we are this way again then we'll definitely book here. Extremely happy to recommend. We had a great breakfast. Food allergies and tolerances expertly catered for. Cannot praise this hotel enough
• devonl2013 (4/5): Dusty, dirty and stuffy - Probably one of the worst Premier Inns that we have stayed in. Dust everywhere. Dirty bathroom. Having to walk out of the building you are staying in and walk to another building to get to reception. Couldn’t get the aircon working and can’t open the window so really stuffy in the room. Wouldn’t stay here again.
• 828gillm (8/5): Great staff - The restaurant and reception staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Always smiling. Always obliging. The integrated restaurant was much nicer than those open to the public. One morning there were last night's chips under the breakfast table. The carpet really needed a good hoover. On day our room was not cleaned although we followed the procedure correctly. The room was spacious, clean and ready when we checked in. Overall the quality of the staff made this a most enjoyable stay.

Big shout out to both Lisa and Jen who not only greeted us at reception but assisted us with the 2 little ones, and offered refreshments upon arrival considering our long journey (stuck in traffic for over 3 hours). I stay at premier inn for the consistency however this short trip had the friendly vibes flavour from both staff and fellow visitors. Additional thanks to the breakfast staff, Friday 31st was very busy due to what appeared to be an abundance of additional visitors however staff took time for us which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely stay again at Bristol south should the need arise.

Food was very nice breakfast available. Only downfall not car changing points we had to go pay £5 to park overnight and extra to charge the car but no big problem.

• U3800SSalexj (8/5): Great location. Friendly staff. - Great location. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy. Always hot water for baths and showers. Excellent breakfast buffet. 10 min walk to the beach. Less than 5 mins to the town centre. Only downside was the initial welcome we had when we arrived, but I think the staff member was having a bad day. We asked what floor the room was on and if it had a view. Rather than telling us and advising it wasn't possible to change, and they gave us a long spiel about the complex algorithm used to allocate rooms, at the end of which we were still none the wiser! Overall a great hotel and really friendly staff. Thanks to Jom and the crew in the restaurant for making it a memorable stay!
• 675mehmetr (8/5): Good for business - Warm welcome with all the staff all friendly and helpful...nothing seems to ever be to much trouble.....no fault with the chef either....breakfast even though limited on what they offer was cooked to a very good standard. WIFI can be a little iffy.

• Paul_SGH (8/5): A good budget hotel - Stayed here, as opposed to PIs closer to the city centre as the parking is free and it is a relatively short drive into the city. The leisure park site is vast and quite unwelcoming but the PI is bright and reasonably well maintained. I stayed in 209 which is in an annexe and it was clean, quiet and i slept well. My only criticism was that checking in took ages as the woman receptionist had probs with the card reader and/or our Company debit card. Sadly she wasn't what you might describe as either cheery or apologetic. Would I stay here again? Yup.
• baggyworm (6/5): Convenient Location But A Bit Run Down - We like the location of this hotel being fairly close to Brighton but far enough out to be relaxed and away from the busy area. The hotel is looking a bit run down these days and the rooms could do with refurbishing. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel which used to be a Beefeater, but is now only for hotel residents. The breakfast and evening meals were good quality and enjoyable although here is a lack of atmosphere. One thing to be aware of is that there are a lot of learner drivers in driving school cars using the car park to practice their parking skills.
• 875nicku (4/5): Poor customer relations. - We expected to be greeted on our arrival at the reception, instead we greeted the receptionist and asked her how she was. Very poor customer relations. First impressions are so important.

• StryW (8/5): Value for money in a good location - Good location with an easy walk into the centre of Bude and the beach. Car parking nearby at a reasonable rate. We did book late and were allocated a dark room looking out onto a high walled courtyard. This didn’t really bother us as we were out most of the time but it would have been nice to have a brighter room. We had the breakfast which was ok but could have been replenished quicker, the mushrooms were very dry! Overall it was very good value and we would stay again. There is a nice traditional pub next door with an attached pizza restaurant, we didn’t have a pizza but very handy without having to walk far.

Zac, in particular, was outstanding – such a polite and genuinely kind young man who went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. Nothing was ever too much trouble. At breakfast, Jon was equally fantastic, offering the warmest welcome and service with a smile – truly the best we’ve ever experienced. A huge well done to the whole team – your customer service is absolutely spot on!

Main entry door to get to the bedrooms had a broken handle and only worked if you had the knack or member of staff to help. Paid for 3 nights but checked out after 2 nights. Depressing place

• 966grahamk (6/5): Overnight stop for morning flight from Bristol - It’s a premier inn, does it exactly what you expect. Clean comfortable and quiet. It is few years since premier embarked on their brilliant remake BUT the bathroom was clean but looks tired
• jackSparrowFamily (6/5): Sad to say, won’t be staying again. - Stayed here before leaving for an early flight. We’ve stayed many times before. Room clean, bed comfy but way too hot on a warm day. No air con. Had a room on bottom floor so you can’t open the windows fully. Fan in room but too noisy. Didn’t get much sleep because of this. Hotel has lost its appeal, its grubby with cigarette ends outside the door. Smokers loitering outside the entrance The area has gone down hill, boarded up buildings and establishments. People using the car park as a race track. Didn’t have breakfast as left early, and thank goodness we didn’t have it booked. We ate at the Brewers Fayre the evening beforehand, as apart from McDonalds & KFC, that was the only choice. We wish we hadn’t. Bar maid not the friendliest. Sunday carvery finished at 4pm even though served until 6pm. Flies in the vinegar! Didn’t notice until after we’d eaten, and yes we’d used it! Gross. We won’t use this Premier Inn again for all these reasons.

• R2298MYphilipg (4/5): Disappointing Stay – Avoid Ground Floor Rooms - I stayed here recently and unfortunately had a very poor experience. Being on the ground floor meant the window couldn’t be opened for security reasons, so there was no access to fresh air. This left the room feeling stuffy, and I woke up with a painfully dry throat. The air conditioning didn’t help either – it came on during the night and only made things worse by drying out my throat and eyes. To make matters worse, the guest in the room above me was stomping around and making noise well into the early hours. As I write this at 2am, I have to be up in just one hour to go on holiday, and I’ve barely slept. Sadly, this stay has put me off using this hotel again. If you do stay here, I would strongly recommend avoiding the ground floor rooms.

• jodit504 (10/5): Good family friendly hotel - Stayed here the night before a flight at Bristol airport. Having read some of the reviews I was apprehensive before we arrived. Easy to find, easy to park and check in. Our room was spacious and very clean. Clean bedding with extra pillows available. Plenty of room for our bags etc. Bathroom was immaculately clean with plenty of towels for all of us. If you’re staying with children, there is a fabulous park over the other side of the carpark, worth a visit. We had the unlimited buffet breakfast the following morning, it was good however, it was a little rushed as breakfast isn’t until 7am on the weekends and we needed to leave for the airport by 8am. Would definitely stay again, all had a good night sleep and hotel was only 15min drive to the airport.
• neilb902019 (10/5): Isaac from brewers fair next door brilliant - premier inn customer service rubbish - The premier inn customer service was absolutely terrible. Was given room 125 which as soon a as we opened stank of damp - we requested a change of room which was a case of no we too full. No offer of discount or anything WHEREAS the pub next door the manager Isaac was absolutely superb !!! He was so so helpful Infact all the staff were brilliant considering it was so busy. Isaac actually really made up for the poor experience at the hotel next door and the food was great too ! So huge credit to Isaac !
• Maps17461836935 (10/5): Brighton visit - We stayed at the hotel for two nights. Quick and easy check in very friendly staff member even though it was 10 PM . Booked a premier plus room. Large room with all the amenities. Spotless and very quiet. We didn’t have breakfast because we were too late. (Our choice) Mention for Seb,Zac and Georgia the team who exceeded customer service.
• 22ange (10/5): Overnight stay - We use this hotel everytime for an over night stay when flying , very close to airport and bristol attractions so its a perfect overnight stop for us . Hotel big clean and comfortable, staff are friendly and helpful

• llysfarm (10/5): Two night stay - good experience - Initial reception on arrival was faultless and the Italian Duty Manager was very friendly and helpful. Free parking on site and no Faf with registering your car etc (not like another big chain operator) Overall a nice venue
• JBW2ALRL (10/5): Short stay helped by excellent staff. - We only stayed for 2 nights but the experience was excellent. Most outstanding was the attitude of the various staff members, especially those on reception. (Note for management - they could do with more help, they were stressed in maintaining the ability to serve in the way that they did.) Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - all done with smiling faces and courteous ability. As expected the room was clean, although there were some light bulbs that did not work. I forgot to mention this at checkout. Breakfast food was excellent but the evening menu was a bit restricted from what one might expect.
• Globetrottingboo (4/5): Tired, Overpriced, and No Proper Food – Avoid! - If you’re willing to pay premium prices to stay somewhere that has clearly spent the bare minimum on its facilities, decor, and overall upkeep, then this Premier Inn is the place for you. The whole site is basic at best and that's being generous. It’s not just tired; its absolutely exhausted. From the drab and dated entrance to the neglected car park, everything screams cost-cutting. The Beefeater restaurant that was once on site closed in July 2024 and has been replaced with what can only be described as a glorified snack counter. No proper kitchen in sight – just what appears to be a large freezer, a deep fat fryer, and a microwave. If you’re hoping for a decent meal, prepare to be sorely disappointed. This Premier Inn falls well short of the standards the brand usually upholds. Definitely not worth the money. You’re better off staying somewhere else, anywhere else.
• oconnell1988 (4/5): Lack of staff means downhill service - What a difference a year makes… stayed here 12 months ago and recommended this place to friends. Wish I hadn’t of done as it’s gone extremely downhill with lack of staff, leaks in the corridor with bucket on the floor. 90 minute wait for food and even then was missing half the items which never did arrive by the time we left. Don’t think I’ll stay at this venue again next year sadly which is a shame as very convenient location.
• 47PaulW (10/5): Excellent stay - The hotel does all the basics really well. Checking in, room, hot water, cleanliness, staff friendliness, breakfast, evening meal, parking, lounge. The staff are great and friendly, the chefs cook an excellent breakfast and evening meal, everything is great.
