Guest Reviews
- enrighta (10/5): First time at a Premier Inn, a great surprise. - Well what a surprise having never stayed in a Premiere inn before I really didn’t know what to expect. Upon entering the hotel we were greeted by a lovely gentleman on reception who was the duty manager “Danny” who was most helpful in every way possible. We were both very impressed with this hotel, everything was as advertised, a good bed, nice room and breakfast but most of all great value and super friendly staff. Will you use Premier inns again? We definitely will.
- ChesterMerlin (8/5): Nice comfortable stay - Great location, comfortable room although missed having a bath but shower cubicle a great size.
We couldn’t see out of the window as room was up in the eves and window very high!
The bar area was busy and had a nice atmosphere compared with other Premier Inns.
We only stayed one night for a show which was at the Venue and in walking distance
- Roam27748601652 (10/5): Excellent stay and can't wait to return - I stayed at Premier Inn Algate for a work trip.
After a long journey, I was checked in very quickly by a lovely man. First impressions of the hotel upon entering were great. It's really welcoming, warm and clean.
My room was on the fifth floor. It was a Premier Plus room. I'm not sure I booked a Plus room or it was an upgrade, but it was superb. It was huge, with views of the shard. The bed was massive with clean, crisp linen and very comfortable indeed.
The room also had a lounge chair, desk and chair and wardrobe.
I was pleasantly surprised to find an iron and ironing board which I needed to use. It saved me a trip to reception.
A coffee machine was a lovely touch, as was two mini chocolate bars and water in the mini fridge.
The bathroom was large with a bath. The shower gel and handwash felt luxurious.
I had dinner in the restaurant. I've never come across a steak restaurant within a Premier Inn before. I chose a burger with a mushroom and truffle mayonnaise and fries. Service was good in the restaurant and the food was tasty. Before my meal, they offered a small bowl of popcorn on the table. The popcorn was covered with beef (maybe?) flavouring, and although this isn't something I'd usually go for, I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed a few bites.
Breakfast the following day was superb. Buffet style and plentiful. The cooked selection was hot and quality produce. It had a really nice and relaxed ambience in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast.
I really enjoyed my stay here and would stay again in a heartbeat.
- KellyM699 (2/5): The Dirtiest Premier Inn I Have Ever Stayed In!! - The dirtiest Premier Inn I’ve ever stayed in!!! On arrival at 11pm after 5 hrs driving we just settled straight into bed.
I’m not the type to inspect hotel rooms on arrival.
Next morning whilst getting ready we realised how filthy the room was. The settled dust must have been 3-6 months old at least. Dirty cups and dirty bathroom floor. At one point I sneezed (probably from the dust) and you could see dust fly up everywhere!
My stepson suffers with allergies and ended up having a nosebleed it was so bad.
The shower leaked which meant we had to use our towels to mop up the soaking wet and very dangerous floor.
Not one to complain we left for the day at 11am and I asked at reception kindly if we could have our room cleaned and some replacement towels. Receptionist agreed and wrote the request down. When we got back around 9pm the room hadn’t been cleaned and the towels hadn’t been changed.
I reported the whole situation to reception who gave me clean towels and explained they would report to the hotel manager the following morning.
When I spoke to the hotel manager the following morning she said the only complaint reported back was that I had requested a room clean which hadn’t taken place - no communication regarding the reason for requesting a room clean and how bad it was.
Staff communication at this hotel is very poor, they show little sympathy and this is by far THE DIRTIEST PREMIER INN I HAVE EVER STAYED IN!!
I stay in various Premier Inn hotels around 6 times a year.
Not worth £190 for 2 nights
Not even worth £40 a night!
We get married next year at a nearby wedding venue and have listed this hotel to over 90 guests on our invitations. Following our visit last weekend we will be contacting all our invited guests and suggesting they AVOID this hotel and stay somewhere clean!
- map461 (10/5): Great stay - Fantastic from start to finish booking and help from Ian was first class , then met Ian when booking in , room was to our request fantastic view and no noise from outside , drinks in the bar at a reasonable price , will be back again thank you all and especially Ian, could not fault this hotel
- M8642NVrussellp (10/5): Exceptional Experience 10/10 - Fantastic meal at the onsite Beefeater Restaurant, food, service, atmosphere all outstanding. Tried this year's festive feast and it didn't disappoint. Hotel is excellent too.
- pdkshouse (10/5): Quiet, friendly and great location - Nice location if heading to Venue Cymru. Quiet at the hotel and staff were super friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were clean, only had one towel but a quick visit to reception and we were given more. Parked at the train station for 24hrs, was a little further to walk than anticipated. If I could give the staff 10 stars I would.
- 1Redhead (10/5): Great value in a great location - We were going to a concert at the theatre in Llandudno so chose this hotel for the central location and cost. We were impressed and thought it was excellent value for money. The room and bathroom were a good size and very clean. We were on the top floor so there was no direct view from the window but that didnt bother us at all. The people who work there were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was good value and plentiful. I am vegetarian and there was a good selection for me. We used the railway carpark just round the corner which was £5.50 for 24 hours, again good value.
- theg253 (10/5): Great - Great stay. Convenient, comfortable, meal deal is fab. Couple of little issues that were dealt with, sorted by James. Many thanks
- emmacurley2017 (10/5): Amazing Aldgate - We had an absolutely amazing stay ❤ I travelled with my 11 year old boy fir a theatre visit and to explore London. This hotel was the perfect base, upon arrival the man on reception was extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, a very comfortable bed, with zero noise!! A brilliant breakfast and equally good restaurant which serves great prosecco!! 10 out of 10 for premier inn aldgate!
- Merecourt15 (10/5): Excellent - Absolutely superb stay rooms very big clean and comfy bed everything you need went to local theatre for show so perfect spot for walking from train station to the premier inn staff were excellent everyone friendly helpful and very welcoming well done team
- 516JohnP (10/5): A very pleasant weekend break - We went to Llandudno years ago and drove past a dirty rundown derelict building in the centre of Llandudno. What a surprise to find that this hotel was that building. What a transformation completely renovated . It is now a bright outstanding building right in the town centre. The bedrooms and dinning area are all very well presented and clean. The actual cooking area is open to view and is spotless. There is also a small bar / lounge area adjacent to the check in desk. The food of which there was quite a choice was well cooked both at dinner and breakfast. Compliments to the chefs. All of the hotel staff were very pleasant and really helpful. I have only one point to make. We had a very large family room with a large bay window but only one chair. There was ample room for another chair and possibly a small table in the window. Other than that the bed and large dressing table were fine. The bathroom which is obviously only a few years old was spotless and bright with its white suit and stainless steel shower (over the bath) which had hand and overhead rose heads.
- D280DGbobj (8/5): Good stay (again) - Good location, excellent breakfast, (clean dining area). nice atmosphere.
Premier plus room great.
Majority of staff helpful.
Room quiet at night.
- I8320BKwilliamm (10/5): Great hotel in a good location for all the local attractions - Great hotel in an excellent location for all the local attractions and the venue Cymru.(We attended a music show)
The premiere plus room was fabulous and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
We will be visiting Llandudno again and we will definitely be booking the Premiere Inn.
We would highly recommend it as a great place to stay if visiting Llandudno or places nearby.
The one and only downside was no parking at the hotel but we parked at the nearby railway station for a really reasonable price£5.50 for 24 hrs.
- smlbrown (4/5): Not up to the usual Premier Inn standard - Stayed at Llandudno town centre. The room was good, as usual, other than there was a half finished packet of biscuits in the room that housekeeping had not cleared which questions how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. Check in was chaotic with the new(ish) system of scanning a qr code causing a queue of disgruntled guests who could not fathom how to work it and gave up and queued again at reception, tying up staff who could have helped at the terminals. We had no issues with the system once we could access a terminal, but maybe we are more tech savvy than some!
Luckily we did not pre-book breakfast because we were under time pressure and there was a queue (at 9am) although there were empty tables. The waitress was busy chatting to friends and there was no acknowledgment of the growing queue or any interest from other staff (not my job, I’m on reception….). After 10 minutes we left and went elsewhere - the Habit around the corner which was excellent and really good value for money.
As a result we are unlikely to stay at this Premier Inn again which is a shame as it is convenient for Venue Cymru where we regularly go for events.
- Kevin487 (10/5): Always Good - Premier Inn Llandudno town centre is our ‘go to’ hotel whenever we visit. Normally come to a show at Venue Cymru and the hotel is not too far away. It’s always clean, tidy, friendly staff and the breakfast are more than adequate.
- 659markr (10/5): Perfect - Location Perfect
Room Spotless
Staff excellent and friendly
Breakfast spot on
Bar great
I don’t know what more I can say, we stay in Premier Inn all over the place but this one takes some beating
Well Done
- 903wiktoriab (10/5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Really nice stay! - We stayed at Premier Inn Aldgate and had a great time. The room was comfy and clean, and the staff were all lovely. Breakfast was lovely and wide choice. A big shoutout to Ayesha from reception, who let us have a late check-out since our flight wasn’t until 6pm — it honestly made things so much easier for us! Especially with a toddler. Really appreciated the kindness and flexibility. Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in London for a short trip!
- kennethwL7970QW (8/5): Central Location near railway station. - Good clean rooms with comfortable beds.
Did not eat in hotel. Bar prices we found expensive. Great location near beach and town centre. Major supermarket close by, excellent cafes in easy walking distance.
Would visit again.
- 711agnes (4/5): Good staff, but rooms in poor condition - We have stayed with Premier Inn many times and usually have a great experience, but this visit was disappointing. We had three different rooms due to damp smells, high humidity and maintenance issues (broken ventilation, air-conditioning turning off, water running down the windows, even mould on the ceiling). The reception staff did their best to help and moved us each time, but the overall room quality was poor. We were also promised a follow-up email about a refund, which we never received. Very unlike our previous stays.
- V6184UJchristinem (10/5): Excellent location, brilliant ! - Excellent location. Great building. Clean and all facilities you need. Friendly and helpful staff. Value for money breakfast which was delicious!
- I6992ERianp (10/5): Great service and value for money - Excellent service very clean staff are amazing great value for money. Stayed in an upgraded room this time and worth paying the extra
- B1398CDamandat (8/5): Llandudno - We are stopping at premier inn in llandudno just had an evening meal with a meal deal and thomas served us and his service was outstanding couldnt fault him at all.
- fjianu (8/5): London vacation - Great location (10 min by foot to Tower Bridge, 5 minutes to subway, good restaurants nearby), nice family room and very attentive.
Good enough breakfast
- davey48 (10/5): Great trip - Lovely stay as always with premier inn. You always know what you're getting. Brilliant breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Paid for premier plus room to get a better view.
- MarkEllam (10/5): Great overnight stay - Clean, well furnished and functional room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location especially if visiting the very nearby Royal Mint Experience as we did before onwards travel to Pembrokeshire.
- ahmedmB5008SZ (10/5): Highly recommended - Chady at reception was so lovely, helpful and understanding. He is a great asset to the hotel.
Clean hotel despite the high turnover.
- 910AlisonS (10/5): Friendly staff - We've just spent 2 days here and from check in to check out the service from the staff was outstanding. They were extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. The location was also a bonus as everything was within minutes of walking. The only downside was that there was no carpark on site but as we checked in the member of staff told us the best and cheapest place to park for the 2 days. We would definitely return and recommend
- PaoloV42 (10/5): Warm welcome - Based the 5 star review on the very warm welcome from Chady upon check-in and the lovely Premier Plus room booked.
Very clean room, nice toiletries, super comfy bed and good value for a London hotel.
Downside was the poor service at breakfast on the two days we stayed there. Took too long to get seated first day and on both mornings, there were long waits for the buffet to be replenished with sausage, eggs, etc.
- clivehughes3 (10/5): Best Premier inn !!!! - What a fab Premier inn and in a
great location
Staff very helpful and friendly especially on the front desk
Big shout out to Sandra and especially to Ian They are a credit to Premier inn!!
- MrKaytock (10/5): Good location and quiet rooms - Good location and quiet rooms. Close to Aldgate East tube station. Thanks very much to Chady for taking great care of us at check in.
- AdamH245 (10/5): Great stay as usual, big shout out to Chady on front desk. - As usual, great stay in Premier Inn. Room on 5th floor, little annex opposite the lifts, however no noise at all from the lifts. Breakfast on the Saturday morning at 10am was pretty chaotic. Not enough tables set up for breakfast and clearly not enough staff as had to wait about 10 mins to be seated and a similar time for some cooked items. Other than that, stay was excellent. Big shout out to Chady on the front desk. In a world full of robotic, vanilla check in staff, he was a breath of fresh air - very personable, happy demeanour and enjoyed a laugh with the guests. Hotels need more front staff like Chady, a real credit to Premier Inn.
- wandereruk999 (10/5): Nice stay - Down in London for the RL game, as usual comfy beds, this hotel is located close to 2 underground stations offering great access to the underground, great price for a London Hotel. V friendly staff. A big thanks to Chady who was on reception when I checked in. A big friendly welcome top bloke.
- francescasF6864AR (10/5): Great experience - We had a great experience. The rooms are clean and equipped with all the comforts, and the reception staff is always available and very kind to answer any questions. The location is also excellent, just a few steps from the tube. I would definitely return!
- J9381HZgailw (10/5): Warm welcome - My fave 💓 Hotel in London in a quiet street near lovely buzzy Spitalfields... staff are amazing 👏 helpful, friendly... Chady made me laugh as he took good care of all my requests on checking in and out 👍
- 484jasonc (10/5): Llantrisant Premier Inn - What a great little hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful, bed was really comfortable, room and bathroom was clean and fresh, ideal location just outside of Cardiff, lovely couple of villages (Talbot Green and Pontyclun) with some really good coffee shops and eateries, breakfast was good too plenty of selection, some great walks in the area including old llantrisant
- sarahlF8240RK (8/5): A great spot to base yourself - Overall we had a lovely stay. The location was really convenient for what we had planned in the area. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a twin room which consisted of a single and double bed. Both beds were really comfortable. We both slept well. The staff who served us were all helpful and courteous. We didn't use the restaurant or bar. Purely because our plans meant we ate and drank elsewhere.
It was very basic, but perfect as a base to center all your plans around.
We would both stay here again.
- JasonVII (8/5): Very quiet hotel in a good location - The Premier Inn London City Aldgate is really well situated, a short walk (or one metro stop) from Liverpool St station - where the Stanstead train comes in too. It’s also only a 10 minute walk to Tower Bridge
We stayed in the Premium rooms on the fifth floor. It’s a great sized room, bed is comfortable and the floor is very quiet with no noise coming from street level
It just so happened that the bathroom door didn’t lock in the room we were in, but we reported it to reception on the way out, so hopefully they fixed it
The TV’s don’t have smart features if you’re planning on streaming anything, which was probably the only criticism I’d have for a modern hotel like this one
- heidiLwilson (8/5): Value for Money Stay in Llandudno - Positives: Great location, easily walkable into town and the beachfront. Excellent value for money. Comfortable bed. Very clean.
Negatives: Parking is a mission with luggage. Room didn't have exterior window. Had one looking into this weird indoor courtyard between all the rooms. No natural light. Gave me a feeling of claustrophobia.
- ColdFFeet (8/5): Not what we expected!!!!!!! - We booked and paid for a Premier Plus Double room, two months prior to the trip, but on arrival we were put into a 'Standard Double' room after being told that there were no Premier Plus Double rooms available! Their 'guest relations' department offered no real apology saying that it was a 'mix-up' and offered us just £20 to 'keep quiet'. We stay in a lot of Premier Inns around the country, so Come on Premier Inn, your better than that?
- 731mihair (8/5): Holiday - Fair enough for the price...good food...close to almost all attraction in London..great services...nice staff......
- K2002CCdebbieg (10/5): Great Experience! - We booked a room at 11pm (after we abandoned a cottage we had booked but were not impressed with), arrived 20 mins later, family room was ready and staff offered to store our bottle of milk in their staff fridge for us! Room was spotless. It was a welcome retreat after a stressful evening. Breakfast at the Beefeater was lovely too! Thanks Premier Inn!
- lindasM6131PK (10/5): Beautiful place and great hotel - Everything was perfect for my stay and couldn't of gone any better at premier inn is wonderful including the price and the bed is amazing staff are welcoming and friendly and helpful rooms are immaculately clean h
- Davidjellis (8/5): Decent value Premier Inn close to Tower Bridge and the City - I stayed here on business for one night as I was working in the area the next day. I had stayed here before many times so was familiar with the hotel and its facilities. I booked a standard room and breakfast.
The hotel is just a few minutes walk away from Tower Bridge and the Thames, Aldgate East Tube station and Liverpool Street mainline train station, so is a great location to explore London. Brick Lane is also just a few minutes walk away.
My room was on the top (6th) floor and was well equipped with all I needed for my stay. The only minor niggle was that the (free) standard Wi-Fi was a little on the sluggish side but apart from that the room was great, with a super comfy bed and large flat screen TV, work desk, ample power sockets and a decent bathroom with a large shower head.
There were tea / coffee making facilities in the room, although it seems they now provide two sachets of caffeinated coffee per person as standard, so anyone spending time in the room (or needing decaf) may need to get supplies from reception.
The breakfast was fine...a good selection of chilled fruits, yoghurts, cereals etc , and the hot selection was appetising and tasty although some of the items were not piping hot and perhaps had been sitting for a while. Otherwise all was good and the staff I spoke to were friendly and quietly efficient. Check in and check out were fast and hassle-free. Overall a pleasant stay and will no doubt return.
- 303pennym (8/5): Pleasurable stay - Excellent location. Room clean and quiet. Staff friendly. Breakfasts good. General atmosphere in hotel was good. Room serviced when we asked for it. Good left luggage facility.
- leesW5042AZ (10/5): Fandabidozy - Very nice hotel staff are great especially mando @ the bar took time to be friendly and pleasant to be fair this experience of premier was a game changer
- R902SKaaronb (2/5): Dirty and needs some maintenance work - Bed was dirty, the shower was covered in other people's hairs.
Just not been properly cleaned very poor condition shower head was leaking so the shower wasn't powerful.
Needs some attention
- RobTA61 (10/5): Great hotel definitely recommend - A really good premier inn, lovely staff, easy to get to from Cardiff, this is our go to Premier Inn when we go to Cardiff, no charge for parking, very helpful with accessible needs, breakfast at the beefeater is really good
- ethanmW8865ZS (8/5): In April 2025 I went to the Premier inn. The staff were lovely and kind but there is no attractions like there is no pool or no - It is a great place to visit if you are going to the royal mint but other than that there is not much to do. You can take walks on the mountains but it is a bit boring. However the staff are lovely
- stevehP865PD (8/5): Just what I wanted - Helpful reception staff, comfy bed, a hot shower and a substantial breakfast. Plenty of car parking is available and access to the hotel is just off the main road
- victoriapR4480OW (10/5): Great comfortable stay - Great comfortable stay, nice clean rooms, lovely food, friendly staff and best of all air con in the rooms. Would highly recommend.
- Z2987FFsylviaj (8/5): Helpful staff - Everything good except no towels nor toilet paper. Once notified staff provided the items. Restaurant staff were friendly and provided good service
- I608ITwendyb (10/5): Very enjoyable stay - will definitely return - Thoroughly enjoyable x2 day stay at Llantrisant, room was as always, very clean, reception staff were very friendly (and smiley) along with great staff at the adjoining Beefeater Restaurant where the food was also very good. Well done to all concerned. Would recommend anyone to stay and eat here.
- harryworcester (10/5): Excellent experience. - Friendly, courteous, helpful staff. Room good size and well appointed. Lots of electric points in good places. Air con. Immaculate. Bed comfortable with nice bedding. White good sized fluffy towels. Top up teabags/coffee etc available in reception. Early check in well worth it and a pleasure not to check out until 12 md. Excellent value for money.
- kazh2023 (10/5): Excellent, staff go above and beyond. - Arrived late, extremely tired. Issues with a room the man on reception moved us to a more suited room, he was very helpful. Then the room we moved to the second bed wasn't made so needed making. Gemma went above and beyond for us she's a lovely lady and a credit to the premier inn. Thank you Gemma.
- natej371 (10/5): Beautiful Hotel & Brilliant Staff - The hotel is spotless, in a gorgeous location and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I was incredibly tired and stressed after a long journey but the staff made it very easy for me to check in and get to my room. The whole experience was brilliant and I couldnt recommend the staff and hotel as a whole enough.
- Nomad60186110909 (8/5): Great stay - Family room for one adult and two teens. Comfortable beds, pillows let it down slightly. Good WiFi connection. Air con good once got the hang of it.
Ate at the onsite Beefeater and very surprised by quality of food for dinner and breakfast. Good value for money. Would stay again.
- 817deneg (8/5): A good hotel, but not cheap. - The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly, but Premier Inn is no longer the cheap option it once was. Having built the brand on being competitively priced, it's frustrating to watch their prices catching up with some of the higher end brands.
