Dirty cups at breakfast . Greasy plates. Sticky tables. Lack of staff
Not enough parking. Poor check in. Room cards given didn't work

- adamsG7396FG (10/5): making business easy - Helpful, cheerful great stay all round.
Easy to find. Excellent rooms clean and tidy comfy beds. Many restaurants available.
- N2795BAdavidf (8/5): Brilliant staff!! - This hotel was brilliant as far as the staff were concerned, they went above and beyond at all times, always smiling! The rooms were clean and comfortable however the bathrooms could be a little cleaner, the shower area could do with a little extra attention at times! parking is a nightmare at times here so be prepared if arriving late in the evening, staff will help where possible!
Overall i couldn't really fault it, good value and great service!
- D9102VPlizw (10/5): Reliable - Excellent welcome. Standard PI room.... comfy bed and clean.
If you want to eat at the restaurant it's essential to book .... we didn't and ended up getting Domino's pizza delivered to the room!
- Explorer55723883448 (8/5): Premier Inn Great Service - Premier Inn rooms up to normal high standard and service from staff was great. Special thank you to front desk ( I think Kieron) for returning an item I’d lost. My only real negative was the hot items on display at breakfast did not look at very appetising but the poached eggs I had freshly cooked were delicious.
- martincY6941RJ (2/5): Premier Grim: The Only Thing Premier Is the Regret. - Perhaps the most miserable of Premier Inn's I have stayed in. Car parking was already difficult before the work that is goin on, consuming a chunk of the top carpark. Rooms are generally tired, though clean. If you're unlucky your room will be a good walk from reception, and if you're lucky, your key might work when you arrive, saving you the trek back for a replacement. And it will no doubt fail later in the day too.
The attached restaureant and pub is perhaps the worst I have had the displeasure to use, with very low service levels and inedible food, despite being quiet on the night we had to suffer through.
It is also often expensive for a Premier Inn.
If you can find an alternative, I suggest you do.
- richardcP9443PW (10/5): We needed help and one member of staff went out of her way to source a safe extension lead so we could use our CPAP - We stayed at Premier Inn, Fishguard Rd, Haverfordwest. Exceptional friendly, helpful staff. Went over and above to make our visit pleasant .
- KerryMickiewicz (8/5): Good nights sleep - Very comfortable bed, good nights sleep. Wouldn’t eat in the restaurant as it isn’t very clean. There is also work happening at the moment, however it was very quiet - but it was the weekend.
- Inspire20717282327 (10/5): I’ve been staying here for a while with my daughters and the rooms are always clean excellent facilities - Great location, the rooms are always clean with excellent facilities, I stay here at once or twice a month with my daughters and we’ve always been happy
- gillfs123 (6/5): Mixed bag! Breakfast 10/10 - Bit of a mixed bag with this one. All the staff were lovely, the hotel room was very large, did see a couple of cobwebs, but put that down to Halloween.
I haven’t stopped in a Premier Inn for many years, and for £50 just 30 miles from London it was very reasonable, we prepaid for full English breakfast, which made it £72.
We arrived lateish on Thursday, 7.30pm and went for tea in the Brewers Fayre, and ordered food, I got a chicken tikka masalla, but when it came out it was just tepid! Not wanting a bad tummy I sent it back. Staff were very apologetic and it was all sorted. But we were both like, oh dread to think what breakfast is like!
Well weren’t we in for a pleasant surprise! Breakfast was all exceptionally fresh, the chef and front of house lady both lovely and friendly! Oh and how organiser it was.
Tomato and HP sauce lined up, for you to take to your table, fruit juice jugs full, tea and coffee in a logical place with the bin next to the tea bags! All logical and well thought out for the customer.
Being an ex hospitality manger, with slight OCD, I was very impressed. I did tell the front of house lady how well it was organised, had a chat, and she was very humble and said it was a team effort.
So a mixed bag, reasonable hotel, very pleasant staff, evening meal could have been better, breakfast really good!
- adamtK3710FU (2/5): Serving raw food. - My indian starter was served under cooked and almost raw. I complained and the server asked if i wanted another, i said no thank you. My main then arrive with cold rice and chicken, I complained again. The server took my main and never offered an alternative and recover came back to my table.
- 748sanjeevr (10/5): Nice and value for the money - We stayed in this Premier Inn, and we quite liked it. It’s really value for the price. We got two rooms and our stay was very comfortable and staff was very friendly and helpful.
- J3924FRedwards (10/5): Malik and Alfy! Amazing work! - We had the an amazing day at this premier inn! We have stayed in many hotels across the world but have never received the level of hospitality Malik and Alfy provided. They were happy to help us in every way they could think of and made us feel so welcomed right from the beginning. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home even for just 1 night! We will for sure be back to this Premier in and hope to see Malik and Alfy again. True gentlemen that set the industry standard of hospitality
extremely high, and wish them all the best in their careers in hospitality and hope others follow their example. Amazing work guys, keep it up!!!
- Danza1986 (10/5): Great overnight stay to break our journey up - Lovely hotel. Very friendly. Children were given a bag of Halloween treats on arrival which contained colouring in, fruit shoot and some sweets. We thought this was a lovely touch and the children loved them after traveling back from Disneyland.
Room was clean and just what we needed. Breakfast was lovely too.
- G2628YUclarep (2/5): Poor - Disabled parking spaces used by non blue badge holders, car park full of work vans so parking was difficult especially as I’m a blue badge holder, staff at premier inn friendly but staff at brewers fare rude! Breakfast was poor and certainly not “Full English” hash browns, fried eggs and black pudding missing on two mornings, pastries and cakes poor and empty on Monday, we waited at the podium in the restaurant “please wait here” for several minutes on the Monday but after no service we walked to the bar and got presented with “have you pre booked” in a rude manor and got told the wifi doesn’t work at the podium so that’s why no staff was there. Plates and cutlery piled up on tables which were not cleared away every morning. Dirty bathroom in our room dusty ledges, window handle broken, vanity dusty, bits on carpet and room not serviced even though we asked for it to be done, dirty corridors with bits on the floor, and messy sticky ledges.
- peterrQ1189ZW (6/5): Good Rooms but otherwise there were issues especially with the Brewers Fayre - Premier Inn High Wycombe/Beaconsfield and the Brewers Fayre (Papermill)
Our room was very good, comfortable, clean, with the ability to control the temperature. The bed made for a good sleep so for our stay it was a good choice.
However the parking was a nightmare. There were just many vans in all the available areas so finding a suitable space was extremely difficult. This was mentioned to the receptionist when checking in but she seemed disinterested and frankly a little dismissive.
Our experience at the Brewers fayre for which we had dinner around 20.00 and Breakfast around 8.15 was pretty awful. On arrival at the bar we were told that there was no draught beer only one bottled ale and a limited choice on the menu. Ok I understand that they had a few problems but the manor that this was conveyed was unhelpful.
So we found a seat, and I went back to the bar and asked what food was available and was told that he would come over explain and take an order. But he did not come back.
So I went to the bar again and a different barman was generally chit chatting to four customers. UI saw the original barman, but he ignored me waiting at the bar and carried on clearing tables.
Eventually he returned to the bar, and I ordered food and drinks. However the drinks he supplied were not correct. He insisted that he had supplied what I ordered but a cola instead on tonic was not right. I stated that I definitely order the G&T which is my wife’s normal tipple. Eventually and grudgingly he swapped the drinks.
Breakfast was by and large fine, but the pub was pretty empty so waiting some time to be seated was surprising. I guess she wanted to finish whet she was doing then come back to us to ensure we paid.
My slight complaint was that the plates were cold so the hot food was not really that hot, the mushrooms were cold and when we had finished and went up for coffee a member a staff brought out the hash browns which were otherwise unavailable.
- 870zainabk (6/5): Clean - My stay at Travelodge was okay overall — not terrible, but not great either. The room was clean and comfortable enough for a short stay, and the staff were polite and helpful. However, a few things could definitely be improved. The room felt a bit basic, and some facilities looked a little worn out. Noise from the hallway and other rooms was also noticeable at night. It’s fine if you’re just looking for a simple place to sleep, but don’t expect anything fancy.
- M8802EAnickb (2/5): Nothing Premier about this Inn - Staff were helpful but that was the only positive, The car parking was poor. The rooms in need of refurbishment, The hotel noisy at night and early mornings. There was not enough staff to deliver meals effectively in particular at breakfast where there were huge queues, no cutlery and plates and tables left uncleared.
- maggiesU2805RY (10/5): Excellent stay lovely staff - Goody bags for kids and water given by fabulous team serving on reception. Booking Dinner and breakfast time and meal deal explaining kids goes free for breakfast . Car park was free and just need to register reg on a tablet provided on reception.
Good location and easy connections to motorway .
- Ste030764 (2/5): Very poor experience - The hotel is being refurbished which they did warn us about but it was chaos
Nowhere to park
Check in absolutely terrible
Bar shut at 10pm so we couldn't get a drink
Breakfast absolutely chaotic
Food quality dreadful
- peteaherne (2/5): Typical Premier Inn. - This hotel is typical of all Premier Inns. It is situated in a very noisy area with no soundproofing and very drafty windows. The price is too expensive for what you get. The breakfast, although unlimited, is still very expensive.
- DiscerningTourist (2/5): Avoid!!! - This has to be one of the worst Premier Inns in the UK. It is incredibly difficult to find. The postcode for satnav is at least half a mile from the property. The signage once you do arrive in the general vicinity is appalling and covered in overgrown trees and shrubbery. The hidden entrance is in a housing area that is a cul de sac. The parking options are poor and please don't get me started on the filthy Brewers Fayre bext door. Avoid at all costs regardless of the cheap rates.
- Taff-D244 (4/5): Hotel was clean and Staff friendly, however, the hotel does not cater for a family with Accessable needs. need - We were attending a family funeral near to the hotel and Premier Inn is usually our go to as family rooms are available or accessable rooms with access to the next room, in this instance we could not get either an accessable room which could fit another bed and there were no accessable rooms (not sure if not present in the hotel or simply not available). We phoned in advance and it was agreed that we could have a ground floor family room as my wife has mobility issues and uses a wheelchair, I explained that my wife was finding it very difficule or even impossible to poen the corridor doors whilst in her weelchair (corridor doors do not swing but open only 1 direction). On arrival we were given an upstairs room and told there were not family rooms on the ground floor, I did explain but was told that there was notihing available. I had asked in advance of the stay and again whilst at the hotel if my wife coulld use a room with a walkin shower or one of the accessable rooms with a wet room as she is unable to get into the bath, whilst I was told that this could be made available, when we asked we were informed that this was not now possible.
- grahamd36 (10/5): Friendly staff, great location, ideall for a weekend break in West Wales - We organised a quick weekend break with my daughter and two grandaugters, both under 4 years old, to visit local attractions. The kid's loved staying at the hotel and were very excited by the breakfast choices. For us it was a nice relaxing stay. The hotel is easy to find, there are no parking issues and the staff are really friendly
- Sue149 (8/5): Typical Premier Inn with lovely staff and big car park - The hotel rooms are typical Premier Inn, decent size, comfy bed, lots of hot water and endless top ups of tea bags, coffee sachets and milks. Other essentials may be purchased. Breakfast is a decent hot and cold buffet with good choice of options. There are high seats for younger children. My room was cold so the receptionist boosted my heating and loaned me a heater (FOI). Large car park near main roads. Pub / Bistro The Lost Coins is the other side of the car park (no hotel restaurant).
- 605martynh (10/5): Great base to explore from - Great base to explore South Wales, ample parking, great breakfast and good Wifi , Pub next door serves good food too , excellent links to all major roads.
- 807owainr (10/5): A comfortable, welcoming hotel. - Lovely, welcoming staff. Air conditioning on before I arrived each time. Been going there for 4 years with work. Comfortable bed. Breakfast superbly cooked by Martin or Robert. Big, deep bath. TV large enough to see from bed. Ample parking. Little noise at night.
One, and only drawback, is the windows not opening. Apart from that the perfect stay.
- lin101061 (10/5): Excellent Hotel - Stayed 2 nights while on holiday . Staff excellent especially Clare . Changed rooms for us to be close to one another without any fuss . Any query or request was met with polite efficiency and humour . Room comfortable and had everything required . Great location for accessing Neyland and Fishguard . Lovely pub next door .
Will definitely stay again 😊😊😊
- natashasV8878RL (8/5): 3 star hotel with 5 star staff - The hotel itself is nice enough but basic. Some areas are tired and in need of a refurb. Breakfast was nice. I asked to move rooms which I think is an indicator of the need for a refurbishment. BUT what made the hotel exceptional were the staff. 2 x receptionists (Claire and another lady) went above and beyond. Couldn't do enough for us and our toddler daughter. They were also very understanding of my requests. The cleaner who arranged my daughters toy and book to create a scene on the bed where the toy was reading was amazing. My daughter was so excited.
- pat4cars (10/5): Holiday in Wales - Excellent room, friendly and helpful staff, suberb breakfast.
Would definitely stay at this location on our next trip to Wales
- wellings17 (10/5): Nice stay and nice room - We stayed here for one night to be near the ferry port to go to Ireland for the next day.
It had a nice size room with a king-size bed with white clean bedding
Bedside cabinets
TV on the wall
Window in the room.
The bathroom was nice and clean with shampoo and soap dispensers in the shower, and the sink had soap dispenser on the wall
It had nice white clean towels..
It had coffee and tea making facilities..
Breakfast was a good choice and was self-service.. Staff were friendly.. There
Is a car park..We slept well. So all was good
We can't fault this hotel. We would recommend this hotel and stay here again
- O843MGtoml (10/5): An excellent stay - The hotel is in an excellent location with plenty of parking. We had a warm welcome at reception and the lady was extremely helpful, polite and kind. Our room was well located and was well presented. Our breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choice and good value for money.
- Tommy (8/5): - Greit opphold
- pearls2019 (10/5): Good place to stay in Haverfordwest. - The room was clean and tidy. We stayed in premier plus room and got free yfi. As we stayed a week our room was cleaned also.
The staff were very cheerful nothing was too much trouble, always ready to help and make our stay as comfortable as possible.
Breakfast was tasty well cooked and plentiful
- 68shivd (10/5): One nighter on way to London - Room lovely and cool for time of year with air-conditioning. Spacious, beds very comfortable. Location great for ferry. Parking on site great with lots of spaces. Quick easy check-in and check-out
- 185sarahs (10/5): Fair prices for a nice stay - Nice hotel in a good location! Fair prices, good customer service, clean and mostly quiet. Easy parking and easy check in. I recommend if you are looking for an affordable option to rest for the night.
- P2832WUrichardm (10/5): Overnight stay - Nice quiet room . Clean , comfortable bed . Good breakfast with cereal ,
fruit , and full range of cooked food , toast etc . As much as you wanted
- SteveiW60 (10/5): A great stay in a handy location. - A great one night stay for us at this Premier Inn. We ate dinner at the local pub alongside the hotel and it wan't particularly special. However the breakfast in the hotel was great. My son is vegan and asked for suitable food for his breakfast. The chef went out of her way to put together a wonderful breakfast and even offered to clean the cuttlery specially to make sure that everything was perfect for him. We also enjoyed a great cooked breakfast and the chef was attentive and offered to cook eggs just how we wanted.
The room was clean and there was no noise from inside or out. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
- bethjJ2295LN (10/5): Couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay. - My partner and I stayed here for a night and it was a really lovely night away. We were greeted by a lovely receptionist on the afternoon shift who was so helpful. I didn’t get food on site but it looked lovely. Well worth it in my opinion. We stayed in a prem plus room and everything was spotless the only thing I could complain about is the grout in the tiles by the bath but that didn’t ruin my stay at all. We will definitely be back next time we want a night away.
- Discover12239088736 (10/5): Great Hotel, outside a little worn - The Hotel was a good as it always is bit there is a bit of a problem. It needs some care on the outside. The signs have lights missing and it needs a bit of a clean. I have stayed here a few times and it is definitely starting to look a bit tired. The rooms and staff are amazing though. They do everything they can for you and the rooms are exactly what you'd expect from a premier inn
- tellis23 (6/5): “Everything you’d expect” is in their website description - Was put here a few nights for work. The staff were all very nice during my few interactions. Parking is easy. The Marston’s pub is also what you’d expect. It was quiet which was nice. I think better curtains would help mediate the security lights blasting outside that made it easy to walk around in the middle of the night. The bed was clean and comfortable however there were some really nice stains on the cloth headboard that kept me on one side only. The moldy grout in the shower could use a repair or harder clean. I didn’t pay for a breakfast so can’t comment on food. There is nothing really within an easy 20 min walk other than the Marstons, a Ford dealership, TK Maxx and M&S. The wireless internet is still working on 1989 specifications. Was unable to even load work photos or documents. It worked fine at the pub 200m away so it’s not a “far west Wales” issue. It was probably correct value for the money.
- helenr770 (10/5): Birthday meal - Booked a table for 4 for my friends birthday meal, Our friends first time dining here, Our server Jess H was fantastic! she was attentive, and friendly as always. The service really made our dining experience and friends birthday special.
Thank you

- 103chrisw103 (6/5): Nice room but… - Nice location, quiet, and clean room, but that’s not what we’ll remember of our visit. We were contacted before we went and asked if we wanted a meal deal, special offer on breakfast and evening meal. We said we wouldn’t be there for breakfast, but could we think about the evening meal, which was about £17 for 2 courses. We were told that was no problem, we could decide when we arrived. When we checked in, a few days later, a pleasant lady asked again if we wanted the meal deal, we said no to breakfast, but she said that was fine, we could have the special offer on the evening meal. However, she couldn’t take payment on that till, but that when we came down for dinner that evening we should just ask for the offer before we were seated. So we did, only to be refused, and told that the two previous members of staff had misinformed us. She decided to tell us this in the company of other diners, and guests at the bar, a very public area. When we asked if she was sure, she left us there to find the manager. The manager, Caryl?, then decided to embarrass us further in front of other guests by telling us we’d misunderstood and couldn’t have the special offer. Our embarrassment only ended when we told her to forget it, the money was no issue and we would prefer to just be seated.
The restaurant staff seem to think it’s fine to make you look stupid in front of other guests, rather than taking us to our table to explain quietly.
Not somewhere we would want to return to.
- P8380CBkevink (10/5): short break - very handy for the crossing to Ireland.room was very nice, we loved the comfortable bed and disabled toilet for my wife as she is in a wheelchair.receptionist was very helpful and courteous.we stayed here on the way back as well
