Guest Reviews
- helensS4121HF (4/5): Not too good - Damp patch on the ceiling, shower leaked from above attachment. Door lock needs attention.Alarm went off and no one around to help .
Im not use to staying in a place with no connection to reception
For a solo £108
- bsjsjsy (10/5): Good breakfast - Good selection of breakfast choice and good vibes
Staff is friendly and happy to help
Highly recommended for hotel stayers and walk-ins
- carlmX3863YV (10/5): Good experience - Staff friendly and helpful. Unlimited breakfast meal deal very good for setting you up for the day. WiFi is speedy. I enjoyed my stay.
- L5702SSvickis (10/5): Fantastic customer service from Suzanna! - Brilliant customer service from Suzanna, Wendy and Rob. I would specifically like to mention Suzanna who went above and beyond for me. I am so grateful and would definitely recommend staying in this Premier Inn next time you are in Norwich.
- johngU1725CR (6/5): NO SLEEP - Location was fine, atmosphere, food, the room, the bed, the facilities & the staff were all great. The big thing that affected my score was the kitchen extraction system. I stayed in room 119 which overlooked the back of the kitchen area & the extractor. It was very noisy all night & even with the double glazed window closed over, the noise just couldn’t be drowned out so unfortunately I didn’t sleep, ALL NIGHT. A real shame because apart from that, everything else was good.
- suegA8769UJ (10/5): Lovely stuy - Lovely stay here after visiting some friends. Lovely atmosphere and all staff are warm and welcoming and seem very happy to help.
- 881izzyj (10/5): Lovely staff - Thank you so much to Benjy and Debbie on the desk Saturday night. They were so friendly and accommodating. We had just come from a terrible hotel over the road but the guys on reception helped us book a last minute room.
- Mobile56414091006 (10/5): Awesome - Excellent reception and service. Made so welcome from start to finish of my evening.
Emily and Beth are absolute stars!!
- Relax35280288073 (10/5): Great staff and facilities - Benji at the Norwich branch was fantastic, very welcoming and friendly. Facilities and breakfast were good too. Hope to visit again soon!
- CarlB735 (2/5): Sadly after many stays here this will be our last as it was so poor - We are currently staying at the Premier Inn Nelson and have stayed here many many times over the years. Norwich is great for family get togethers and Christmas shopping and TBH the hotel location and reasonably priced parking make it an ideal place to stay. However over these years the hotel has declined, we always book the premier plus rooms but even these have seen better days, our room 203 has an overwhelming stench of damp/mould, the air con didn’t work properly (so had to have windows open with traffic noise) and the cleanliness wasn’t great. If these are the premier rooms I’d hate to see what the standard rooms look like now. The “premier” rooms are pretty small with tiny shower rooms. The shower had good pressure and are stocked with Bayliss and Harding toiletries. The grubby hand marks on the door (not ours), the mould on shower seals and the thick dust on the glass light shade did nothing to convince us this was premier at all. The double bed was super comfy as always and we had the added luxury of a fridge and a coffee pod machine. We had access to ultimate WiFi for our stay but only on one device, so it’s a fight to the death on who gets to use it, when we tried to use the voucher on another device it said it had already been redeemed, sadly for Premier Inn I got to use it to write this review. The bar is quite simply a dirty dive of a place, we tried to order 4 of the cocktails for £20 which represented excellent value except they didn’t have the ingredients for most of the 6 or 7 cocktails on the menu so instead we ended up ordering 2 cocktails for £12 and some other drinks for our party of 6, the tables were sticky and furniture mismatched not sure if shabby chic is the intention here but it was just plain shabby. To top off our first evening in the hotel we saw a poster on the way back to our rooms advertising 2 cocktails for £10 so we’d been ripped off too. We all ordered breakfast, however there was drama as we arrived as reception had incorrectly booked us in for the second morning of our stay and to make matters more confusing put it under one name, we sat there while they sorted their mistake out until we were given the all clear to get breakfast, sorta wish they hadn’t. Sausage and bacon looked microwaved with no colour to them, beans were lukewarm and they’d run out of white bread and some pastries. With all the fuss we wish we’d gone elsewhere. TBH I was trying to persuade the rest of the party not to have our evening meal there given the state of the place and the quality of the food but convenience won over and we had our evening meal there. As expected there were at least 6 things on the menu that weren’t available (sense a theme here) which was a bit disappointing but we all managed to find something. Prawn cocktail didn’t come with the bread and butter as advertised and had to be chased and they had run out of the yoghurt mint dip for the Indian nibbles. The mains faired a bit better however the Korean burger was without the advertised Asian slaw. The turkey roast dinner was nice and everyone who had dessert enjoyed them so not as bad as I had expected. It feels like a hotel on its last legs with the team working hard to make the best of it with absolutely no investment in either training or facilities. I started at 3 but with all of the issues we encountered it had to be graded a 1, we’ve agreed we will never stay here again.
- T2832BUpaulf (6/5): Bathroom heating non existent.. - Bedroom nice and river view lovely. However, with no heating in the bathroom and no ability to turn the water temperature up (it was restricted), this was the lowlight for us. This also meant that the towels had nothing to dry on from one shower to the next.
The antiquated shower curtain was also very poor.
So, bathroom in need of a refurbishment definitely with a towel rail desperately needed.
- Greyhound21 (10/5): Comfortable room and excellent hot breakfast - After a bit of a slow check in (staff were changing shifts) we got to our very clean and comfortable room and had a good and peaceful nights sleep.
Breakfast in the morning was very good, probably the best cooked breakfast we have ever had in a Premier Inn. Chef was very friendly and came around the restaurant checking everyone was happy with the hot food. Only slight criticism was that the other staff were slow to clear the used plates and replenish the fruit, bread etc. Will certainly use this Premier Inn again.
- freddied359 (10/5): Stupendous hotel - Service was splendid, rooms were nice and clean, great location walking distance for everything you could need. Not a wide range of beers but a good range of beers and that’s what’s most important 😉 nice and quiet atmosphere.
- P8568HGbobbym (10/5): top job - great service from sophie o’brien was very
enjoyable grabbing a pint, fantastic selection of beers and spirits, great hotel 10/10
- Berniebabe (4/5): Sad old affair - Premier Inn itself was no more than you can expect, although the Premier Plus rooms did not match up to other premier inns we have stayed in. The main issue was the bar and restaurant. We went there for a drink and everything was sticky and shabby, The floor and carpet was blackened and most pf the tables were very ropey. I put notes on the table to say they were disgusting. Managements response was they (I assume Whitbread???) were not going to do anything because the Nelson was going to be demolished. When asked when, we were told it should have been last year. That suggests that the company has washed their hands of the place at the detriment of their customers and we have been exposed to below standard facilities. Surely a good clean once in a while would not cause too much expense and give their customer base a better experience. That are other Premier Inns in Norwich so we will definitely trying another Inn.
- snakefinger (8/5): Nice Stay overall - The hotel is bit dated . The restaurant was filthy and no way near enough selection for Breakfast. We stayed in the plus room which was nice overlooking the river. Warm and cozy .
- N1721BPlesm (4/5): Hotel has gone to the dogs - Been to this hotel 4or 5 times, but have to say the standards have dropped significantly, quality of service does not seem to high on their list, had wine spilt over me by the waitress in the restaurant, never anyone on reception to offer help or assistance, when I took advantage of someone being at the reception desk, asked if they could call a taxi for me, but was told that can't do that and to google a taxi firm. We were there from Friday to Sunday and had no room service at all, no beds made or towels changed, not cleaned, really poor service all around, the hotel generally was grubby at best, carpets were dirty, floors were sticky in the bar and restaurant, toilets were dirty needless to say, we won’t be returning.
- vicb743 (8/5): Good value but has been better. - Staff were responsive when needed. The room did not have the finishing touches we've seen before such as cushions on the bed. 2 lamps were not working. Air conditioning fan could be noisy even on low. Overall, just not as good an experience as we've had before.
- allanc60 (6/5): Impress your guests. - Hotel and location fine. Clean rooms ,friendly staff. Restaurant I wouldn't recommend as unless you book they want you to sit at the bar as they don't have enough staff to accommodate table service. There were plenty of empty tables and I was told it's not there problem. Good customer skills. As a frequent traveller and business user of Premier inn I find this unacceptable.
- DoraG01 (10/5): 3rd visit, can’t find fault - Hotel well positioned for shops/theatre. Hotel is clean and staff are friendly. Meal deal good value, plenty of choice on menu.
- ColinO724 (8/5): Adequate but could be better - Hotel is ideally situated for both bus & rail connections. It is looking/feeling a bit shabby in place bus I understand their are plans for redevelopment of the site. We were in room 35 which is an accessible room. There is a large pillar at the foot of the bed which a wheelchair user would have to negotiate. It is a large room and we found the heating to be inadequate, leaving a chilly feeling to the room despite being set to 22c.
- S2742LCclared (10/5): Ideal for a short break. - Friendly and helpful reception and staff. Clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed.
Handily positioned in the centre of town.
- FrancesL731 (10/5): Fabulous few days in Norwich - All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and very quiet. A good location for visiting Norwich.
- Departure781394 (10/5): Good location and amazing staff - Use hotel on a regular basis whilst on business. Location is spot on and large multi storey car park next door is really convenient. Hotel is great and the staff are amazing.
- U4967ZXjohnj (10/5): Great stay - I stayed as family and Kyra was amazing and super friendly. She helped me with the vending machine. Kyra was on fire. Definitely will come back
- sophiepY4600YM (10/5): Great stay - Really lovely experience. Staff were amazing. Every staff member was so attentive to my every need. Breakfast and dinner was amazing.
- owleyes1956 (8/5): Comfortable Budget Priced Hotel - We only stayed for one night but found the hotel to be clean, comfortable and welcoming. Check in was quick and easy. Our room had everything we needed, although biscuits on the hospitality tray would have been nice. The self service breakfast was delicious with a good selection of items and drinks. Bar area was comfortable with prices that you would expect from a hotel.
We will definitely use this hotel again in the future and it suits our needs.
- agonyauntie (10/5): Great value for money. Highly recommend. - Visited Norwich to attend a fitness event. Premier Inn Nelson is right beside the river, & the swans are lovely to see from your room or on the way to breakfast.
Close to the station & city centre. Payable parking behind the hotel.
Lots of walking nearby. Lovely riverwalk through the pub across the road where you can walk as far as you're capable of.
The rooms are always clean with a wonderfully comfy bed & powerful shower.
Staff are always helpful & friendly. Excellent value for money.
- B2509PGnickc (4/5): Noisy and Disappointingly - Arrived at 3pm after checking in online, I expected to use one of the self serve check ins, but these were all out of order. I had to queue in a line of 4 or 5, with only one receptionist on duty. I was initially impressed with my room and relaxed before an early supper in the restaurant which was pretty good. However in the evening I started to note the pub noise opposite my room. As I was watching TV it didn't bother me. But as it got later it got louder and continued till past midnight, the worst was the outside street lighting shining through the curtains.
And I awoke the the noise of traffic going over the bridge outside from about 5am. Definitely not a good night's sleep. All Premier inn could say was sorry. Had the issue been the bed, no problem. Noise, not something they can control. Hello Premier inn, have you heard of double glazing. Won't stay at the Nelson again in a hurry.
Not what you expect for a £100 quid a night
- purpleboots (10/5): We need more Grace - Premier inn does what it says - a good nights sleep! Bed comfy as ever tea in ready supply and all the basics there. These days having a window is a plus and there was even air from outside to cool things. Only tiny Moan was that the bath water runs at only a sensibly low temperature while I like mine hot hot but I know that’s a safety feature
Warning that phone reception is less than great which leads me to …….
Big shout out though to grace on reception - prompt service at check in bit more important she rescued my meeting with cousin after 35 years by doing everything she could to check where I was and keep him from exploding (as I said I’d be there but had gone out🙄) she maintained confidentiality but still helped us make it happen so BIG thank you. I’ll come back here next time I’m in Norwich (even tho i also like the one near the station!)
Btw - On that - duke street is so handy for the lanes of Norwich without being in the midst of its frenetic late night scene
- busyor (10/5): A fantastic hot breakfast buffet - This was our usual great experience with Premier Inn. In addition we found the breakfast to be the best hot buffet we've had at a Premier Inn. The amounts in the buffet dishes were relatively small, so it was replenished very frequently meaning it was all freshly cooked. In addition everything, including the plates, was hot. It was really delicious, so thanks to Chef Robert and Wendy.
- stephentW9450RX (4/5): Very hot and uncomfortable. - The hotel room was ridiculously hot with no heating on! The window barely opened more than an inch so you had to use the fan to push warm air around the room.
It’s a shame really as the hotel is in a great central location but I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay there. For the cost of the room we had almost no sleep at all. There has to be better options in Norwich.
- H88TAjohnc (4/5): Unclean - Access reception down a dark poorly lit “ambush alley” check in was ok staff ok however room 33 was a bit Travelodge by Wyndham ie rough. It didn’t appear secure as ground floor but the piss de resistance was the unflushed toilet. There appears to be maintenance issues everywhere the room did not appear clean as usual and no WiFi .
Norwich airport & Broadland much better . Breakfast ok. But it’s just sloppy.
- Roamer53 (2/5): Dangerous - We have stayed at Premier Inns all over the country for years.
This visit was because of a hospital appointment at the Norfolk and Norwich.
We were allocated a ground floor room backing onto gardens by the river.
We went out for dinner and returned to the room about 11.00 pm.
Soon after that we went to bed and turned the lights off.
What followed can only be described as a horror story. Someone started banging on the window and a hand appeared through the window trying to get into the room.
I ran to reception while my husband remained in the room.
Eventually we tried to sleep again and the same thing happened twice, each time with me running to reception.
Needless to say we got no sleep at all.
The reception staff were very helpful and gave a form to send off to claim a refund for their “guarantee” of a good nights sleep.
Premier Inn refused to meet the guarantee ..twice. Their argument was that it happened outside of the hotel. Well I could argue that a hand coming through the window was in fact on their premises.
I was shocked that such an awful experience was met with such lack of understanding ..all for the price of their sleep guarantee.
- diop308 (10/5): Sarah and Angel excellence - Sarah and Angel’s customer service were above excellence. Their helpfulness and kindness were above par. Thank you Sarah especially for helping take a picture of our group.
- D602LBharryw (10/5): Great atmosphere - Amazing staff- Sarah and Angel are amazing , so helpful and extremely kind. Really Reccomend this premier inn, fantastic.
- D3774VHliamw (10/5): Stopped by and they were very accommodating - Amazing staff, really friendly and helpful. Atmosphere within the bar was amazing as well. Really appreciate those who helped us out
- LucyCongreave (10/5): You know you what you get with a premier inn - It was our fist stay at this Premier Inn. We chose this hotel as it was a five minute walk to the Holloway where we had a gig.
The hotel does not have onsite parking however there is a multi story car park a couple of minutes walk.
You know what you’re getting with a premier inn. We have stayed in a fair few in different cities.
We stayed in room 106. The room was very clean as was the bathroom. The bed was so comfortable it was just what was needed after a gig.
We checked out oretty early as I wanted to drag the husband around the shops!
Would we stay at this hotel again?! Most definitely
- dianafT1499IB (10/5): amazing staff - Kyra was so amazing , credit to the company. I enjoyed my stay and will deffo return. Cleaninless was amazing , and breakfast was incredible
- kierons371 (10/5): Half term break - Pleasant stay. Ideal location as we were arriving late by train, it’s across road from station. Comfy beds, eat as much as you can breakfast. What’s not to like!
Special shout out to Rob and Aaron in the bar who went the extra mile entertaining my son with Halloween themed fun and games, top marks.
- THATFOODIEMAN (8/5): Halo is slipping - A comfortable hotel a stones thrown from the railway station yet walkable to the city centre. A reasonable restaurant is attached. However, once again I could not help noticing how the carpets in the public areas could do with a clean.
- 385brittanyr (8/5): Very good with a few exceptions - The staff were friendly and accommodating. We asked one of the staff for a restaurant recommendation which was very appreciated (also was delicious!)
The bed was comfy but the lighting in both the room and bathroom was lacking. The toilet required heavy pressing to flush.
- williambZ1080EC (4/5): Rundown - Very run down and not being maintained. Have stayed here many times over the years but this is the last. Also access along Prince of Wales Rd is scruffy and questionably safe.
- Tour36623037102 (10/5): Quality service - Quality !
This is my first visit to Premier Inn we Duke Street, all the staff were very polite and attentive, especially Emily who seated me took my order and my payment.
Very friendly and polite as you would hope from Premier Inn, her colleagues who she insisted needed to be included in any review were of a very similar standard, she did give me their names but I seem to have misplaced the card. The food was delicious, I once again had the spring rolls and the ravioli. Parking is at the neighbouring multi story car park. I would be more than happy to stay here again.
- E2612GIjohnh (8/5): Overnight in Norwich - The hotel looks dated outside & is due for redevelopment. However the location near the station was what we wanted. Our room was smart & clean. Breakfast was busy but all food was being regularly refreshed & the tables kept cleared.
- danielmA4451WN (10/5): Excellent - Had a lovely experience recently, Sophie was so accommodating and so friendly, she went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after and she really is an asset to your business! Will definitely be returning
- 248georgies (10/5): Review - I have to say Sophie O’Brien who works at the hotel did outstanding work in making sure all my needs and worries where sorted and met
Super friendly and she was amazing . Best customer service I have received whilst staying at a hotel
- bramble44 (10/5): Lovely central hotel - Lovely location as it's opposite the train station. We had room 33 but there is no power supply sockets by the bed at all the only ones are on the desk and near the kettle. The bed was comfy and if you have lactose intolerance make sure you get some milk as they don't put it in the rooms and the restaurant refused to provide some without buying a drink.
Reception staff was lovely .
- Jae (10/5): - I love staying here when I visit family. It’s in walking distance to many shopping and eating places and is a very artistic area. The staff here is always very friendly and accommodating.
- hellsbellesxx (6/5): Hotel fine. Breakfast not suitable for gluten free - Was good location for what I needed. Room was clean and comfortable. Bit tatty and in need of an update. Breakfast was disappointing for me. Not really anything for gluten free, I asked about toast and was told to use the main toaster as they couldn’t cook it for me. Being celiac I wasn’t going to take the chance of using a heavily contaminated toaster. Both the sausages and hash browns have gluten in and they don’t need to. Buy better quality gluten free sausages and hash browns.
- lindo11223344 (10/5): Friends trip to the races, there were 18 of us and hotel staff were exceptional, from checking in to checking out - Hotel staff were exceptional very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There were 18 of us and were made to feel very welcome
- Z7382VXemmar (4/5): Wouldn’t stay again with toddlers. Poor breakfast experience - Check in machines were out of order and only 1 member of staff was checking people in so it was slow
I emailed twice in the weeks before our stay asking for confirmation about the sleeping arrangements for my 20 month old twins and had no reply at all
Only 1 highchair at breakfast, as above; I have twins. There was also another family with a baby so we didn’t get a highchair. This was dangerous given the breakfast dining area is next to the doors and road, especially given breakfast is self service so you have to go up to the buffet to get food. I asked to sit in the furthest corner from the doors but was advised this area was reserved for a regular
No veggie sausages at breakfast and limited vegetarian selection. Wouldn’t have paid for breakfast if I’d known, had much better breakfast service at other premier inns.
- Lana (8/5): - The staff are friendly and it is conveniently located. My room was clean however the overall decor is a little run down. The breakfast was ok not the best, but happy there was a restaurant.
- accepted_planet (4/5): Terrible stay - I was disappointed with my stay. On arrival, I was given an adjoining room, which meant I could clearly hear the guests next door. I asked to move but was told the hotel was full.
The shower barely worked due to low water pressure and left the entire bathroom floor drenched. One lift was out of order, and the other was unreliable, so I ended up carrying my bags up four flights of stairs.
Dinner was chaotic, with a noisy family letting children run around the restaurant while staff did nothing. I asked three times for my dessert, yet it never arrived, and no one offered an apology or explanation. Even the till wasn’t working properly at payment.
The only positive was the comfortable bed. Unfortunately, everything else fell short, and I felt let down considering the price. Premier Inn really seems to be going downhill.
- warhound45 (10/5): Lovely stay - Great Staff, food in the evening and breakfast was great, rook was good, bathroom excellent. Nice and quiet stay, i recommend it
- Mohammed (10/5): One of the Best Hotel you could choose - Great place to stay and will be my first choice in any city in the world I find Premier in in it.
The staff are well trained and very polite and helpful.
- TeamNutty (10/5): Fantastic Dinner Service - ⭐ Fantastic Dinner Service! ⭐
Huge thanks to Gabbi, Coonie, Csilla and Dara for an outstanding dinner at Premier Inn Newbury. Warm, friendly, and attentive throughout – nothing was too much trouble. They made the evening feel special and are a real credit to the hotel. 🌟
- Relax18622706396 (8/5): Great value for money - Always great service & wonderful food. Tonight Chef Carlos made our meals- excellent value for money. Room is always clean & tidy;
- ForPetesSake (4/5): Disappointing visit. - I use Premier Inn a lot as you usually know what you’re getting. However our visit to Newbury PI left us disappointed. Room was very hot and stuffy over night. We were put on the 4th floor One of the elevators was out of action and the other was constantly stuck on the 4th floor so my wife who was recovering from a serious illness was forced to use the stairs on 4 occasions.
The following morning we arrived for breakfast to be told the kitchen was shut as the chef had cut his finger so had to walk into town to find a cafe.
Not a good visit on this occasion
- X1611SUmarciah (10/5): Great staff, pleasant experience - We’re local and use this PI for breakfast. The chef Carlos is one in a million, he is so pleasant and really friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for him and the buffet is always well stocked and piping hot! We have been to many PI’s but this one is by far the best, made so by the staff. Karen is such an efficient worker, she serves customers and clears tables like a pro. Again, nothing is too much trouble for her and she is very friendly and hard working. These 2 people make dining here a very pleasant experience!
- Sumakmonkey (10/5): Wonderful breakfast and sunset views - Fabulous breakfast with chef Carlos!!! Great aircon. Close to the shops and restaurants. Very clean and happy staff. See you next time!!
- 853KellyL (10/5): Restaurant - Breakfast (walk-in) - Visit regularly for breakfast (walk-in). The chef (Carlos) is very friendly, cheery and offers great food. When it’s quiet he often walks around the guest to ask people how their food was and have a chat. He is the best chef they have had in years. Carlos will also help clear plates away if it’s really busy and he has plenty of food cooked.
The food is always very well prepared, plenty available and always hot.
I also want to mention Karen in the restaurant. She is always happy, friendly and often does most of the clearing away/refreshing drinks/cups etc on her own.
Carlos and Karen make the dining experience here very enjoyable
- VickyLL75 (10/5): Great stay - I stayed her for one night for business the staff were very friendly and helpful .
My room was clean and perfect for what I needed.
The breakfast was nice well cooked and presented.
In general it was perfect for my needs I would definitely stay here again.
- G (6/5): OK - The room was OK, but the hotel is not special. It is correct.
- Vasco (10/5): Close to the wedding location we were attending? - Staff were friendly and excellent and location is what we expected and room and comfort was very good.
The only thing we were not too happy was the free drink with the meal which was house wine as we had RED and WHITE which were not very good as we did express that to the staff there? Also There were no BRANDY in the evening on Saturday around 9pm?
- sid (10/5): Great hotel - Staff at this hotel are a huge credit to Premier Inn. I have visited a couple of times and they have always gone the extra mile. In addition, the rooms are spacious , clean and very comfortable.
- Pat and Len (6/5): Close to city center, cafes, historical sites - It was warm weather, and not all the rooms had working air conditioning. We were moved to one with a working unit and were comfortable. The hotel was quiet and within walking distance of what we wanted to see.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Broken Air con! - Room unbearably hot as the air con was broken, as a result no sleep.
The staff knew about it and said it has been broken since January!
So much for the 'garanteed good nights sleep or your money back'..............all i was told was we dont advetise it as a air conditioned hotel!!!
Dreadful
- Beth (10/5): Excellent - Good central location, room was in good condition, staff were friendly and welcoming, would stay again!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel. Good central location. - Ideal for shops, pubs, etc. A warm evening but an oscillating fan was provided.
- justin (10/5): great location - fantastic long weekend break and expedia did it cheaper than premier inn could
- Ned (8/5): Great for City Centre - Good hotel. Difficult to park nearby except in multistory. Multistory paid for by Premier Inn.
- Wunjot (8/5): Convenient City Centre Hotel - Stayed overnight for a football match. Got a good night's sleep despite city centre location and it being a weekend.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location, close to shops - A must when visiting Norwich, so close to town centre. Accommodation great, bar & restaurant idea for relaxing after a busy day shopping.
- Pauline (6/5): Rather noisy hotel close to city centre - Our room overlooked a very busy road and as the room did not seem to have double glazing, it was very noisy.
- dion (6/5): Standard hotel in Norwich. - Centrally placed Premier Inn, close to town but no parking on site. Good breakfast and service as you would expect.
- Richard (8/5): Good value and location. Comfortable and friendly. - This hotel is deceptively close to the city centre. On arrival, it looks a bit out of the way, but less than 5 minutes walk takes you to the main shopping areas, the theatre, restaurants, etc. It is comfortable, clean and friendly. When in Norwich on business I invariably stay here as it is good value and very convenient to walk to a variety of restaurants in the evening. (The Last Wine Bar is a favourite.) Parking is also free, albeit a short walk up the road in the multi-storey car park.
