Guest Reviews
- raisethel (10/5): Amazing stay at premier inn - The hotel room was absolutely amazing very clean and matt the manager was absolutely amazing youll never meet anyone like him so kind and helpful got us everything we needed 100% recommend
- Freedom628372 (10/5): Lovely evening in the bar at Premier Inn - We spent an evening here after visiting the Winchester Christmas Market. We had a lovely evening in the restaurant, looked after by Shanon/Raj and Bushra - thank you very much for the detail of your service, and for laughing at our conversations (sorry Shanon) you guys are a great team, we thoroughly enjoyed our time with you. We were planning to head into the town later in the evening, but we were so relaxed, we stayed in the bar! Lovely day/night away.
- M4744UVjana (8/5): Cold room - Only really bad part was a cold room. Very uncomfortable. Food was good and room was clean. Staff were polite and friendly
- clairegK5441AJ (2/5): Worst premier inn I’ve stayed in. - Our room was dirty, there were crumbs in the bed. Mould around the bath. There was a horrible damp smell in the corridor outside the rooms. Check in took ages as only one person on and long queues. Disabled space out of use due to a hedge needing cutting back.
- Cwtsch (8/5): Acceptable Premier Inn - Stayed here following a disappointing stay in Salisbury.
No issues here- room was clean and as expected for a Premier Inn.
Service in the restaurant was satisfactory and the food was ok. This is why it's a 4 and not a 5.
Should be able to pay parking in reception- the car park was dark upon arrival a we could not find the machine. Needed to go back to the car park after check in to register the car. A minor issue but nonetheless worth mentioning.
- nigelrB2628JK (8/5): Nice place - Great location, close to local shopping parks and short walk from wonderful Indian restaurant and local pubs. Rooms were clean and tidy, very slow bar service and good choice of foods for breakfast
- nicolahS6383SJ (10/5): Socialising with Friends - Great food and drink. Matt was a lovely guy and was very friendly. Bubbly personality and went above and beyond
Would definitely recommend
- megangG629WF (10/5): Matt the manager - Matt was brilliant on the bar!
He is an asset to your company.
Really funny and had a genuine approach to our needs .
He’s ace
- martinsN3299DJ (10/5): Great welcome, great food - perfect ☺ - Great welcome, great food - perfect ☺
Room was very clean, and located around the back of the hotel, so even quieter than expected! (Thanks Marie!)
Atmosphere in the restaurant was great, and the staff at both the restaurant and hotel were very friendly and welcoming, as usual ☺
Excellent food and drink! 🍻 🥂
- N3052XXchrisb (4/5): Same old Premier Inn - Yet again Premier Inn continues to get worse and worse. I always spare a thought for the team. They are always rushed off their feet and there are never enough of them. My stay at PI Winchester was no exception. Most of the team were nice but they were ran ragged. Over the last decade every Premier Inn I’ve stayed at has had less staff and it’s so clear how far away they’ve moved from caring about the guest and providing great service.
- philiphT2543VE (6/5): "Free" parking - ensure your vehicle is registered at reception. - Advertised as "free" parking but requires registration at reception - and yet reception failed to ask or register my car for this "free" car parking i- cost me a £67.00 fine.
- A3661DXtinat (10/5): Fantastic - Absolutely brilliant 👏 service excellent staff and breakfast and evening meal was lovely, good quality would definitely return thankyou for making our visit welcoming
- 837nihadg (2/5): Absolutely horrendous, I hope I never have to go through it again! - Stayed there with the group of 8, there was just one disappointment after the other but in short, they tell you on the phone parking is free for guests - it isn't. I asked the lady at the reception if the breakfast was included in the rate, she said it was - it wasn't. And here I am now, three weeks after, still chasing for the invoices they were meant to go to my e-mail but, you guessed it, they haven't.
- Jake2019abc (10/5): Matt - review - I recently stayed at the Premier Inn and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The room was spotless, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep. The location was convenient, and everything I needed was just a short walk away.
I especially want to highlight Matt, who went above and beyond during my stay. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful—whether it was answering questions, offering recommendations, or just greeting guests with genuine warmth. It’s rare to find staff who make you feel truly looked after, and Matt absolutely did.
Thanks to Matt and the rest of the team for making my stay memorable. I’ll definitely be choosing Premier Inn again!
- michellejS3677RY (10/5): Great hotel - Lovely clean hotel, plenty of car parking and the evening meal was lovely and good value. Efficient check in and check out service too.
- K2510YBjoanneh (8/5): Brilliant - Once again brilliant Anne checked us in . In error I hadn't booked a walk in shower room but Anne was so helpful changing our room to suit our needs . The room had been cleaned to the highest standard by Lola , thankyou Lola . Once again we found the customer service delivered by Anne wonderful, she is an asset for Premier Inn
- Dream296828 (10/5): Excellent. - Ordered sea bass it was cooked to perfection like it was being served in a 5 star restaurant in central London. Waiter was Chris his service was excellent. Would recommend a stay and eat dinner.
- sazza148 (10/5): Good location, great staff - Stayed here for 11 nights whilst in the area for work. The hotel overall is a little dated, but the room was clean, bed comfy and shower hot. The real stand out was the staff, Matt in particular. At times he seemed to be running the place single handedly, often covering reception, kitchen, restaurant and bar at the same. However nothing was too much trouble, he always had a smile and time for a chat which made the difference after a hard day at work. The food was delicious, plenty of choice and good value. Would stay here again.
- M4611UKnataliee (10/5): MATT WILL MAKE YOUR STAY!!! - Matt! What can I say, he's incredible. Wonderful welcoming host, really went the extra mile. From the moment we checked in, his presence was delightful. So friendly, funny yet professional. Full of helpful information for the local area - from shopping outlets to best fast food places in the area!! I think he's the manager - if not he should be!!!
- 907vanp (2/5): Using only if every other hotel in the area is fully booked - Terrible customer service. I have to book hotels for some team members in my company and I always try to avoid Premier Inn, because I know their customer service is some of the worst I even encounter. I book on their hotels only when nothing else is available. One day, they didn't have hot breakfast although we paid for it. They apologised, they promised a refund, a free breakfast and a meal on the next stay... they gave us nothing. They don't answer the phone, they don't answer emails, the Business Account with 'preferencial service' is a joke.
- GillyL676 (10/5): Great location - Excellent location, on the bus route to Chester, and Liverpool with Cheshire Oaks. Garden Centre next door was nice too. Great staff , we even had a tin of biscuits in our room which was a nice surprise.
- 384butchb (10/5): I would definitely stay here again. - The room was well equipped and the bed was comfortable.
All the members of staff were very friendly and more than happy to help.
Breakfast was cooked fresh and that made a big difference
Chris in the restaurant bent over backwards to help and was very polite and is a credit to the company.
Well done Premier Inn!!
- louisegD4205NF (10/5): Exemplary customer service - Wow! Anne, Chris, Dom. Thank you for making a difficult stay for me, so much easier. Your customer service exceeds expectations.
My husband was in the Spire Hospital in Heswall for cancer treatment, so I was alone whilst he stayed in hospital. Anne was so thoughtful and caring, asking after my husband and his he was doing. She even came back to my table and asked if I needed to transfer downstairs if my husband was coming back to the hotel.
Lady at breakfast was attentive too. Btw the black pudding is fantastic!
Rooms clean and fresh (thank you Jac).
Food was lovely and filling. Staff told me all about the deals (thank you Chris and Kieran the chef).
All such lovely positive people. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you 🙂
- Prdsc (2/5): Very basic- - Stayed for two nights whilst visiting the area. The location is good but hotel is very run down. The car park was full of contractors vans . Out side reception and the entrance to the annexe block there were people hanging around smoking and felt like they lived there. Hotel is probably being used for temporary accommodation. Didn’t feel very safe . The breakfast was horrendous. Cold, only instant coffee as the machine was out of order.Cancelled breakfast after first day as the restaurant area was dirty and run down. Wouldn’t recommend as a family hotel to stay in .
- S3751WNalisonp (8/5): Lovely stay - We were welcomed on our arrival by a lovely man who we never got to know his name, Cheery and helpful. We were surprised later in the evening to see him behind the bar, taking food orders, running the restaurant all while overseeing the hotel reception and general hotel duties. Give that man a rise! We could see that they were extremely short staffed (which we later established is a normal day) so expected a delay with our food, but when it did arrive it was very tasty and nothing too much trouble. Our room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was relaxing, evening meal and breakfast of a very good standard. We will have no hesitation of staying here again if we’re in the area.
- D1043UAnb (8/5): No water in shower - There was no water in the shower and it took two visits by the receptionist to get BOTH the hot and cold turned on. This wasn't entirely his fault. I was standing in the bathroom monitoring the shower and he was at a cabinet in the corridor opening the valve/s. I shouted, yes, there's water so he thought he'd solved the problem but he'd turned the hot on and the cold off so then we just had scalding hot water. The receptionist responded very quickly both times we traipsed down to reception about the shower.
Whoever did the maintenance that resulted in the water being off needs sacking.
We'd booked a twin room and I thought we would be able to change the 'configuration' of the enormous bed by moving two smaller ones apart but that isn't how it works. It is possible to separate the two beds but the bedding is for one bed. The other bed is a poxy smaller single that I would have thought is meant for a child sharing its parents' room, not for another adult. It seemed very unfair that one of us had the luxury of the vast expanse of the main bed while the other got the smaller, lower single.
The room was far too hot even at the end of October in the northwest of England and there was no way to cool it sufficiently as the window only opens two or three inches.
It was a one-night mid-week stay and there were no noise issues.
Overall, it was OK and suited our needs but the shower business made us late for our meeting.
- 501beverleyr (10/5): Great stay - We had a great stay at the premier inn special shout out to Matt who waited tables and then was behind the bar he was all over the place run off his feet bless always professional and friendly nothing was too much trouble he had w great sense of humour and respect for his customers would definitely stay again
- Road742404 (8/5): Great location, friendly staff. - Great premier inn in a great location to Wirral beaches and to Chester. Peaceful, easy to park and warm welcome from staff. Bedroom was clean but basic, as expected. We all slept well.
Problems were raised to staff and were dealt with to the best of their ability at the time.
Appalling, non existent wifi/ data or signal availability.
- rogerrB6180QX (10/5): Great staff - I stay here frequently, Adam and Vicki are most welcoming. I come for business often and have built a good relationship with all the staff so it's always my go to when on the wirral!
- AW0146 (6/5): Staff clearly overworked and under pressure to do a great job. - We are staying the old side of the hotel, its noisy in the mornings with all the contractors leaving for breakfast. Not quite sure what happened to the Premier in guaranteeing a good night sleep. We decided to have food in the joining pub/restaurant on our 1sr night. Was really quite shocked to see just one member of staff taking orders, serving food, clearing and cleaning tables, serving behind the bar and trying to keep all the customers happy. We were even more shocked when the lady in reception joined him later to help with clearing and serving food and setting up for breakfast. These two members of staff were clearly run off there feet, it was ridiculously clear that this hotel is clearly understaffed. I asked if staff were off sick, I was told no its only ever two people. Those who work from head office who make the decisions on staffing, should be made to work a month in this place. Just two of them to see how there staff are treated. It's nothing short of terrible working hours and conditions. The two members of staff in question where nothing but professional, with smiles on there's faces and are an absolute credit to the Premier Inn.
- samanthapB9576KH (10/5): Exellent hotel - Excellent hotel and value for money, I stayed on the 2nd floor at the back of the hotel, room was warm and bed confortable,
On arrival their was plenty of parking.
Manager on recption very helpful checked me in quickly and help with registration of car.
Restaurant , food was nice I have a veggie curry, the fish and chips looked lovely but was trying to be good.
Food was beautiful and really enjoyed the 2cpurse meal deal.
Breakfast in the morning was lovely too.
I ordered poched eggs med done and they where perfect t nothing was room much of a problem from start to when we left this hotel was amazing, also I have to higlight the manager Matt, his customer service skills are amazing, we met at checking, then when at dinner was serving then saw him the next morning, I made a point of thank him for his exellent care and customer service, as had had quite a bad week and quite rundown and the customer service he offered, I felt quite cared for, and I am not a needey person but really appreciated all the effort he gave ro the customers including myself ro ensure everything was ok and could nor enouth.
He even arranged a late dinner for my husband at the end of service as he arrived quite late, we had a funeral to be at the next day, it made quite a difference as had been stuck in a hospital all week living off mechine food and sleeping in hospital chairs at night.
His care to ensure we had a nice meal , directions swift check in and great breakfast in the morning made a difference.
I left the hotel, and felt I had to recomend as the staff all work so hard and Matt the Manager was an exceptional perfessional person who gave amazing customer service.
- Bembo200 (4/5): One the poor experience - We have stayed in Premier Inn several times and this experience was the worst.
Booked in all went well.
We then realised the heating/cooling system wasnt working at night whenit hit cold. One of the managers assisted with electric heaters.
Following morning the key card locked us out and we couldn't find any of the hotel assistant. They changed the card three times and still the same issues.
We had breakfast which was very poorly done. The mushroom tasted rubbery, the sausage wasnt probably done or welldone. (even though we mentioned it should be) all in all it was a waste of money for the family of 5.
I must say I have stayed in a few Premier Inn this is the first I would have to wait 25 mins for the breakfast to be served.
- 530gennak (10/5): Highly recommended, will stay again - Thank you Matt and team for the warm welcome we recieved after a long day of traveling Matt greeted us with a smile and great energy that continued on through the evening. He went above and beyond for us all. The rooms were very spacious and spotless. Breakfast was a hit with plenty of choice. All in all a great stay. Thank you Matt and team 👍
- X2790RQmarke (10/5): Amazing stay! - We travelled up on friday evening from swansea, for our sons rugby game on saturday, 4 hours of travelling as we drove all the way no stops, once we arrived at the hotel , we were welcomed by Matt , he was so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for him and he was a great laugh,
If we are travelling up that way again we would stay here, just because hotel was great and the staff were helpful especially Matt .
- 425mariaq (10/5): Great night sleep, great staff - Stayed in a family room. Very clean and bed was super comfy. Very quiet slept like a baby. Had food here also with Chris duty manager who went out of his way to make sure we had a pleasant evening. Lovely breakfast in the morning.
- christy20140 (8/5): Good base for Winchester city. - The hotel was excellent in every respect; quiet room, very good bathroom, comfortable bed and hearty breakfast, but 2 minor niggles.
1. I couldn’t check in until after dark arriving by train. Not knowing where it was I set out walking. The route isn’t easy with a meandering footpath across streams, etc. If anyone is doing the same, the number 2 bus passes the door.
2. The USB socket for phone recharging was dead.
- 437coopert (10/5): Amazing - Matts service was at 100% this evening and we had such an incredible experience with the stay. we will definitely be back as we enjoyed our stay. As a base it’s amazing and the beers were great
- 33marisar (10/5): Swansea tribe! - A beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting. Matt especially stood out, he couldn’t do enough for our party, he was efficient and super welcoming, got us checked in quickly and had a really good laugh with him. Rooms were great, spacious and very clean. A very welcoming place!
- Malc13AFC (8/5): Great visit, impressed with improvements - Stayed here before and was not impressed, as the rooms were ok and the restaurant/ pub was not the best and closed at 9 pm.
Thankfully it has improved and hopefully when I visit again it will be even better.
The staff are new and very positive, the restaurant/pub has improved and the food was good to very good and it didn't close at 9pm!
All this place needs is the company to spend some money on refurbishment of rooms and the restaurant/pub and it has the potential to be a 5 star establishment.
Thanks again to the staff who made my stay most enjoyable!
- A1263NJbenjamins (10/5): Good Hotel and helpful staff - Had a really lovely stay here recently, manager Libby was super helpful and knowledgable about the local area, made us feel immediately welcome
- P8040CRjonathanr (10/5): Great location for business - Great service and very friendly welcoming staff, the hotel is in a good location with easy access to Heswall and has plenty of parking
- elliebobs2016 (6/5): Disappointing - Requires Revamp - Booked a Premier Inn plus room as stayed at this hotel a few times. Staff were helpful on arrival, some staff came across as miserable. The room itself was clean and tidy, although only set up for one person to arrive, needed more towels, coffee etc. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was tiny, hardly room to move about. The Shower cubicle on the outside of the door was disgusting, rust and mould. Felt dirty. The hairdryer in the room was cracked/broken - health & safety issue!! The evening meal and breakfast were ok, although the menu options have been reduced. Car Parking charges now in operation. Small car parking spaces, that small when we went to leave, some idiot had blocked our drivers door, unable to open!! Overall hotel needs a good revamp, wouldn't book a Premier Plus again, well definitely not at that location. Value for money - NO! Premier Inn you need to do better.
- paulnR1333CW (2/5): Hotel in need of investment - Hotel is very rundown and in need of a full renovation
Decor is dirty and drab and flooring is ready for a refresh.
Rooms are grim and tired.
Restaurant attached is also very poorly maintained.
Floors are extremely dirty particularly wooden area and stairs.
Staff whilst some are pleasant others do not acknowledge you.
- joeheath1948 (8/5): No complaints - Clean, comfortable, predictable, with charming staff. Easy to find and good parking. A nice route south from Liverpool without 'electronic tolls'! Well done, Premier Inns, for what appears to be a policy change by providing the lodge's direct Email address; civilized and useful.
- soot404 (8/5): The staff were "gluten aware" and made sure I had a tasty and healthy breakfast, for which I am very grateful. - Our room was very quiet, clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had everything we needed except Wi-Fi. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful. I can't eat gluten so they provided me with a sealed packet of GF muesli, which was very nice, and even made me some GF toast in the toaster that they keep in the kitchen just for GF products.
- SimonJKent (4/5): Poor example of a Premier Inn - A budget level hotel at a high price. - Some Premier Inns are excellent value for money & are welcoming - sadly this isn't one of them. Overall it seems run down and in urgent need of a refurb.
My room was dingy and there wasn't even a mobile signal (tbf not their fault) never mind there is free Wi-Fi. However In my room and also at reception was less than 1mb. I could pay to upgrade to "Ultimate Wi-Fi" - which offered around 8mb - Ultimate is a poor description. The bar / restaurant was ok, but I was served a short measure of beer and it was on the flat side.
Although the room was dingy the bed was comfortable. The included tea / coffee in the room was of poor quality.
Breakfast was of poor quality with overcooked fried eggs and poor quality bacon. To be fair the sausages were tasty. Staff were generally pretty good & friendly. Come on Premier Inn , you can do better
- Oliver (8/5): - helpful staff
- chrisbI3890OH (10/5): Good location. - A nice, clean hotel with good food, friendly staff, an excellent location, and great value for money. Lift to all floors made access easier.
- O9398JCkarend (8/5): Good stay, lovely staff - Clean rooms, fully functional as you'd expect from a Premier Inn. Lovely, helpful staff. Great breakfast next door. Good value for money for b&b. Be aware, no customer toilets available outside pub hours (pub closed in afternoon, if you're arriving 2.30-5.30pm).
- Global03317612096 (8/5): I would go back. - Noisy air dryer in the toilet underneath my room and a long wait for food in the evening. But had a nice welcome. Staff were very helpful. Hotel was clean. Good car parking facilities.
- JACKSONJE8 (6/5): Functional stay at the Premier Inn - My wife and I stayed here for a wedding at the end of August.
Was really a case of 'does what it says on the tin' - basic room which was fine for our purposes as we literally just changed and slept there. Breakfast the next morning was decent. Room was clean enough but a little worn and some suspicious stains on the sofa!
Overall fine if you are not planning to spend much time there and looking for a reasonably priced option.
- clara (10/5): - Clean
- C571SStomw (8/5): Good stay! - Large room with bath&comfy bed - option to have food in pub next door too!
Only downside, no lift!
We enjoyed our stay&will probably be back! 🙂
- U7254QIsimonp (10/5): Heswall Premier Inn Best Ever!! - The warm welcome and care from all members of staff was so appreciated at a difficult time for us both. They all went the extra mile in supporting us when learning of the passing of our father during the visit.
- warriors09 (10/5): OVERNIGHT STAY - Overnight stay here before a cruise. Lift to all floors which was very helpful. Room good with comfy bed. Evening meal in restaurant was excellent. Car-park - paid a small fee. A long walk downhill to the town and cathedral - not 10 mins as advertised !
- A441IIjimc (6/5): Ridiculous duvets=Poor night's sleep - Very accessible from motorway. Adequate parking. Good welcome at reception. Room was clean and tidy and air conditioning was quiet and effective. The stay was spoilt by the ridiculously high tog duvet, which is totally unsuitable for the end of summer, which made it impossible to sleep well.
- Babsy222 (4/5): No thank you - The heating made noises, the meal was really awful and half of it was missing, breakfast was no better. I was travelling with a child and no one really lifted a finger until a guest went and fetched someone so we could check in, the carpet in the room was filthy, need I go on? Very understaffed. But still, awful.
- ChrisFarrington (8/5): Great Hotel, Shame about the Breakfast. - Off on a short 3 day cruise, so to make it a proper break we added a few days ahead of the cruise.
The first stop was Premier Inn, Winchester. First time at this hotel and like all Premier Inn it didn't disappoint.
Didn't take the early check-in as wasn't sure on arrival time. So we parked up early and walked into Town. It's not really convenient placed for town as its a good 20/25 min walk and in places the path are narrow and badly lit.
But back at the hotel, we got room 331 (Premier Plus room), it was very nice. Great large bed, super powerful shower. Plenty of plug sockets, and USB charging sockets as well. Decent Fridge as well.
Little concerned as the room was next to the cleaners cupboard, so we were worried that it would be noisy when the cleaners arrived but no it was super quiet at all times.
Now the one downside and sadly that was Breakfast, I knew there was a reason why I've stopped booking breakfast, it's simply worth nowhere near the £10.95 cost. Very poor quality, to start with: hot plates would have been a good idea, the food was well over cooked, the Juice (apple) very poor quality, hardly any pastries available. The Tea/Coffee wasn't bad. The only reason we booked breakfast was because the hotel is too far from town, sorry but not making that mistake again.
Staff were very friendly.
So at £64 for a Premier Inn room it was superb value, Hint: always pay the slight extra cost and take a Premier Plus room, they are far superior to the normal rooms.
I can't think of any reason we wouldn't return to this one if we were in the Area.
- AdrianJones91 (6/5): Usual Premier Inn, some good, some not so good. - Firstly, we stay regularly at Premier Inns up and down the country.
Apart from the dreadful one in Weymouth, on the front, we would return to them all. Bude and Lewisham being the stand out ones.
Good points:
Probably the most comfortable bed we've had for a long time.
Fantastic service
Enjoyable breakfast, well presented
Bad points:
Usual poor Wi-fi and useless air conditioning. This is the same at every PI we've stayed in and been going on for years.
Non stop radio blaring out from morning to night. Never experienced this before, is it for customers or staff?
Again like all PI we use it is in urgent need of re-carpeting and decorating
Check in not working - another common problem
Communal toilets in need of a SERIOUS deep clean. NOT acceptable
Location may be a little arduous for some, especially if you go in to town a couple of times day. There is a fairly steep journey back. Uber works, about £4 to £5.
- janetbP2991CI (4/5): Hotel dirty and worn out - Check in ludicrous - The communal areas especially the entrance stairway to reception and reception itself were dirty, required maintenance and more thorough cleaning. The staircase felt unsafe and spongy and had been repaired in one section with black gaffer tape. The glass doors to reception were filthy with hand prints and greasy marks. Reception had out of order self checkin machine and the area was very tired, requiring a full makeover.
Checking in was a joke (same as last year when we attended). As previously stated the self check in machine was out of order (as it was 1 yr ago) and there was just one staff member checking in a vast queue at 3pm which stretched out into the life lobby! Check in was tremendously slowwwwww. We stood in the queue for 30 mins. This really needs looking at. There should be two staff doing check in at busy periods - its not rocket science!
Overall hotel does not give a great first impression
- Sunshine795473 (6/5): Busy busy busy Winchester premier inn - Great place to stay if you're cruising from Southampton or Portsmouth, interesting city and surrounding area. Car parking F.O.C, bed super comfy but bedroom very warm so took quilt out. Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked, so even though we booked for two nights, A) nowhere near enough staff to clean rooms, so didn't clean or tidy ours ours as they didn't have time, changeovers took priority, fair enough, but I twice reported leaking toilet but was never fixed, even though the young lady who I think was manager tried but failed to fix it, but credit to her for having a go. Didn't eat there, went for a Turkish in town 1st night and Tesco around the corner 2nd night
- Joel_JD (6/5): Fine for a stopover - Fine for a stopover. Rooms are exactly what you will expect for a Premier Inn, although average size, we’ve stayed in bigger Premier Inn rooms. Service was welcoming. The dining area was a bit unclean, chairs, tables felt sticky. Parking was OK, mostly under cover, not expensive, spaces are a bit on the narrow side. Location is very good, 3 minutes drive to a Tesco Extra, and 25 minutes from city centre.
