Guest Reviews
- Janis (10/5): - Beds were comfortable and clean. Heavy pinesol smell first day. Floor were slippery. Hnot horrible for a old motel. Staff were friendly and responsive. And helpful. They are remodeling. May stay again.
- Jonathan (2/5): - Only stayed because I was too lazy to find another place. The door knob to the bathroom only worked if you turned it in a specific direction and a specific amount or else it wouldn’t open and you would have to try again. They have a European family, whom I assume was staying long term, staying behind the gate and were very noisy and played music all through the night. They even had a grill, a whole dining table set outside and would eat out there like no one’s business haha. Cars pass by all night, and also the train is right there and passes during the night and early morning. A lot of tweakers and homeless passing and I had a couple stand right outside my door screaming at each other. Spend a little extra and don’t stay here like this idiot.
- Aundrea (2/5): - The room was awful it had scratch marks on the floor the shower takes forever to heat up the room had cigarettes underneath the bed and also the window was broken and did not lock. When I turned on the air conditioning there was strong toxic meth fumes coming out of it and also the gas of the hotel staff were harassing me and my partner the first night asking if we were residents there and if we had a key card when we just got checked in and it was very noisy at all hours of the night and morning and they were very nosy. I had a very terrible and uncomfortable experience and I would appreciate a refund thank you
- chris (6/5): - Overpriced for what they have. Room was barely clean and lots of damages in general.
- Joshua (2/5): - When we arrived it looked nothing like the beautiful photos online. There were mattresses in the parking lot and it was littered with trash. There were so many cars parked everywhere that you couldn’t even get to the property. There were people living on the property and were outside at 11 pm shouting and playing games while smoking in the parking lot in front of the units they were trying to have us stay in. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE.
- Bret (2/5): - Pulled to chaos, a dining room table outside with a hookah and booze, children running all over.
No parking. I was told by the man at the window that one large extended Romanian family lives there and they rent a room if they have an open spot. Room wasn’t very clean , no towels and nothing plugged in. Yelling and noise until 3
- Raul (4/5): - The room looked clean, but it had a weird smell like blench with something else. There was an opened soda bottle forgotten and the bathtub had the sponge to clean it forgotten there too.
The room is uneven with a clear inclination to the bathroom making me feel dizzy each time I walk near the bathroom.
The TV has the HDMI cable unplugged and once Incorrect it there was only channel available. I asked for help in front desk but nobody went to fix the problem, so basically I didn't have TV available in my room.
Front desk is kind but it'd be a better experience if someone had gone to my room to fix the TV issue reported.
In general I didn't enjoy my stay on this place.
- Annelise (2/5): - Floor slopes downhill. Shower was dirty and had 30 seconds of hot water. AC did not work. Reservation was not ready upon arrival. Would absolutely never stay again. I suspect reviews giving this hotel a high rating are fake.
- Jacob (10/5): Surprisingly charming and friendly - Staff was very friendly and accommodating, don’t let the location throw you off. Family run and it shows. They went above and beyond. Highly recommend this hidden gem for travelers. Close to the airport as well. 5 min drive.
- Anthony (4/5): - Room and linens were inclean, we didn’t end up staying.
- Christopher (2/5): - Our first night scheduled of a three day stay was so loud and disruptive that we end up checking out in the morning as so as possible.
- Emily (6/5): - Nice staff and easy checkin. Room smelled like cigarettes (the strong sort of smell that your brain never gets used to). There was no top sheet and the comforter didn’t seem to have been washed recently. At least the car seemed safe there overnight and it wasn’t too loud despite being on a major street. Had wanted to give them a try because of the good recent reviews; just can’t get past the smoky smell though!
- Aaron (6/5): - Not the cleanest
- Jacob (2/5): - Check in went well and I spoke with someone very nice. Every other person in the complex was very loud up until 1:30 am. Kids were screaming, people were just outside talking and yelling and making a ton of noise. The curtains were too small so we had no privacy. Anyone could just look in. There was no trashcan. The room smelled heavily of air freshener, far too much to the point it was hard to breathe. Long black hairs in the shower.
- Savannah (2/5): - Gross. The beds and towels were stained. Hair all over the bed and pillow cases, the bathroom door didn't shut and the main door you could see light on all sides bugs came in. Also non stop traffic nose. Would not recommend.
- Tim (4/5): - noisy
- Rene (4/5): - No estaba limpio y la cama estaba sucia.
- Luis (10/5): - Keep up the good work.
- Jaquelline (2/5): - There was people outside making noise past midnight, I didn’t get much sleep, and I had to go to the airport the next morning early. Please give me a credit. This was not worth the money thank you.
- Melisa (10/5): - People yelling bunch of people out side all hours just not very happy with the place
- Jocelyn (10/5): - Friendly , respectful and professional staff. They met my needs. 5/5 I’ll definitely be back when I come down to Oregon in the future. Thanks for letting me have a peaceful stay
- Isamu (4/5): - They will not return the deposit, so your stay will cost $50 more that necessary.
- Brian (8/5): - There was very little hot water it was like warm
- JOSEPH (8/5): - The staff was decent...its a renovated property that used to be very run down. The area around the hotel is questionable but i didnt feel unsafe on or around the property itself.
Theres a decent bar and grill across the street and the people there were very friendly too.
Its cheap and you get what you pay for and i WOULD stay there again.
- Grant (6/5): Manager is AWESOME! His hands are full, though. - First of all, I hate leaving anything less than a 4-5 star review.
Second first of all, the staff, manager, and family were absolutely a delight to work with! They went well above and beyond what you would typically find in a smaller motel like this. Very friendly, kind, courteous and SO accommodating!
The motel itself is small and quaint, and the rooms are big enough for one or two people. I was in a single bed room, BTW. Let's put it this way: There was enough room to bring in the 4'-ish desk and put it next to the bed, and there was still plenty of room on the other side of the bed! And the TV was HUGE!
My room did not have a desk or even a table, which I wasn't aware of since I have never stayed in a room that didn't have a desk or at least a small table. I needed one as a work space while I was there. The manager and his family brought me a desk and office chair from where I can only assume was a personal one of theirs. I could not have been more impressed that they went this far to help and work with me on this!
Both mornings I was there, the Wi-Fi/internet wasn't working, and both times the manager had to address the issue. Apparently it's a new provider for them and they are still working out the kinks...? I'm sure this will get resolved, but it was frustrating as I have a lot of computer work to do when I'm on business.
The water took (and I timed it the second day) almost 10 minutes to get to a comfortable-enough temperature to take a shower.
- SHIV (10/5): - Checkinn was so welcoming, the property was newly renovated, the rooms were so clean with all new beddings, the front desk guys were so helpful,it was under new managment so i will high prefer this this place to stay!!With budget friendly rooms!
- Aren (4/5): - Rooms appeared to have black mold in the bathroom and bedroom. Toilet is a weird shape, looked like it was inverse on the inside. They're clearly doing renovations though, they had a locksmith come into my room and saw the door to install key card locks instead of the regular key lock. While I was in the room. They did alert me of someone coming by.
Bed linens were clean and I didn't see any bedbugs (searched all over, don't mess around with that stuff). The mattress and box spring itself were in poor condition.
Honestly they should've waited to be open until the renovations were done. I think given more work in the place it could've been nice. Overall not ideal though. If it's all you can afford it's fine.
- Janaia (10/5): - Very nice owners! They were renovating when we were here and it looks like they are doing a really nice job. Thank you!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): hOmE sWeEt HoTeL - S []D //=\\ € Ë with a couch aaand two mini treasure chest couch, a lifted bed and shelves !
- Starla (4/5): - The comforter was dirty, the water handles were backwards. No lightbulbs in the lamps.
