Guest Reviews
- mikeebA3683QW (4/5): Parking is an issue at this hotel. - The accomodation was clean and in very good order. The room was warm and bed very comfortable. Having stayed in various Premier Inn hotels in the UK they are very good value for money.
The reason I marked the Premier Inn, Addlestone down was that the provision for parking was very limited. After having spent well over an hour going up and down the very, very tight multi-story car park, we ended up parking in a street about a ½ mile away and walking back to the hotel!
- P514LDmatthews (6/5): Terrible dining experience, slow and staff disappear - Rooms as you would expect. Self check in.
The service in the restaurant is terrible. Staff are not attentive and too busy wondering around on phones. Lettuce on my meal was old and brown. Fresh lettuce was requested. My advice is to eat outside instead.
- ladydeedy (10/5): Excellent stay - Had a great overnight here from the very warm welcome to checking out late morning. The room was brilliantly designed. Small but really comfortable, quiet, and had everything you might need. Great shower and decent hairdryer too.
Plenty of choice at breakfast which was good value and staff were smiling and helpful.
The area feels very safe and it’s super convenient for multiple tube stations as well as shops should you need to buy anything. Highly recommend.
- G5631IUdavidk (2/5): Eat before you arrive! - Awful service in restaurant. Very neglectful staff. Too busy talking and watching TV.
Food arrive like someone had attempted to eat it already. Left before pudding arrived as waited half an hour since I’d finished. Not busy in the restaurant at all 4 members of staff talking and watching TV
- ravicha3 (10/5): Very good stay. - The place is very good. Shops nearby for any type of need. Rooms were clean and staff very helpful. Finding the Car parking was a bit difficult, but hotel does have directions to it.
- Navigate55143044059 (8/5): Great room breakfast not so good - Hotel was lovely. Breakfast wasn't a great experience, too busy. Not enough seats. Food had run out, maybe busy slot should be advised so these could be avoided
- EdinburghShelly (10/5): Comfortable for short stay and great location. - Excellent location, close to Bank tube station but off the main road so quiet at night. Clean comfortable room and friendly, polite staff. The room was small but well designed with space for hanging clothes and a small desk. Ideal for a short stay and great value for money.
- Sarah-in-York (8/5): Small but perfectly formed. - Small but perfectly formed.
Extremely comfortable, tiny bedroom. Friendly staff. Everything as you’d expect other than a filthy carpet that needs to be replaced. (Room 205). Quiet despite being in the heart of the City. My room overlooked a courtyard containing trees - an added bonus. It’s v close to Cannon St and Bank underground stations. Has a Pret a Manger nearby as well as a Sainsbury’s local 5 mins away. It’s 5 mins walk from St Paul’s and the Millennium Bridge.
The hotel is a bit tricky to find as the lane it’s on is unobtrusive. Hold your nerve!
Unlike standard Premier Inns it’s not a completely dark room as the electrics are controlled by a touch panel in the headboard. Take an eye mask if this is an issue for you.
I’d definitely stay here again.
- writersam (8/5): Clean and modern - We have stayed at Premier Inn Hub hotels before so knew what we were getting, and this one didn't disappoint. I'm glad we opted for the larger room because I think the smaller one would have been a bit too small for both of us, but the larger one, though on the smaller side compared to other hotels, was just fine for a one night stay. The room was very clean and modern, and the downstairs reception area was nice too. We arrived a little early for check in but were kindly allowed to check in a little before 3pm. The only thing I wasn't too keen on was the glass door to the bathroom as it didn't provide much of a sound barrier! It's worth noting for others that there is no coffee and tea facility in the rooms but you can go downstairs to get some instead at no charge. There were two bottles of water in the room, which was handy for us as I don't drink hot drinks anyway. The hotel is very close to Bank underground station, and all in all it made a great base for our stay.
- 884drewf (6/5): CUT THE TWO TREES DOWN . - On arrival its excellent that this inn has HGV parking but there are two trees right at the carpark entrance that make it difficult to access . Staff were good , room was fine , food was fine . Usual.Scottish standards.
- D2014CTwendyd (8/5): Great location & value for money - I stay here often and love the location. It’s clean, beds are comfy and staff are usually very helpful. It’s very warm and we always need the window open. The quilt on the bed is super cosy but in the summer months way too heavy. I feel they should be providing a thinner quilt during summer months or at least having one available in the storage unit.
- H1204VEjohnm (2/5): Bad - Boogies on the wall. There was a fan outside the room that made a loud noise all night. Insanely hot at night. Very dusty. Toilets smelt like a mix of old pee and beef hula hoops. There vending machine scammed me out of a snickers also we were looking forward to the breakfast all day and then got there and there were NO HASH BROWNS !!!!!! The room was very very crowded . Only one towel and there was no reception to give us other towels. Blue marks all over the shower curtain. We had to go to Asda and buy fly spray because there was so many flys. We were going to go for a nice beverage BUT the pub shut at 9pm. Abandoned cars in the field across the road made me feel as if I was entering a haunted house. The light was wonky. The view was a brick wall. There was a nice picture on the wall though. There was a skiddy in our toilet made me sick (literally) Would not recommend.
- Wanderer20402123681 (2/5): A very tired hotel with dirty rooms. Don’t stay here. - The location of this hotel is ok and just a short distance from Aberdeen centre.
There is no atmosphere although the receptionist called Elena was very pleasant and friendly.
The room was filthy. Curtains were marked with previous damp, sofa bed and chair had dirt and dust over them. Walls were stained and carpets dirty. It seems the cleaners are not cleaning to the company standards.
We have been staying in Premier Inns for many years, and this hotel was one of the worst.
I would not recommend staying here.
- FredF1781 (10/5): Great location, Great Service, All Great! - The location was convenient near two underground and one trail station. And there's pretty much everything you need near hotel like tesco, MS Food, Pharmacy, etc.. The room was clean. The service was kind and warm. And the Breakfast was great. I had a very nice 7 days.
- SFDunlop (10/5): Premier Inn - Great Value, location and staff - Love a Premier Inn! Always the same standard, lovely beds, pillows and white fluffy towels - all member of staff team are very nice, super location with plenty of free parking and a short walk to a retail park that has an M&S Foodhall. Value for money is outstanding too.
- antoniop121 (4/5): Enough of having to make beds. - Third time on different stays that we had to make our bed. After telling reception and even the manager personally before 12:00h nobody went in to clean our room.
Something does not function well at this hotel.
- Hrothrekr (8/5): EXCELLENT LOCATION - Very good hotel...almost excellent. Superb location, friendly staff, good rooms and unlike its 'Premier Inn' big brother you get a better shower in Hubs (still not enough pressure), proper toilet rolls and a couple of bottles of water. Breakfast was disappointing, usually a benefit of Hubs as there's no fuss, just the stuff that I want to eat for £8 which is great value. However on my first morning there were no free tables so I had to take my breakfast, already not that warm, up four floors to eat in my bedroom. The following morning I was told at 1000 that they had just finished which was odd as their website suggested they offered breakfast until 1100. There are breakfast menus in the rooms...why not mention breakfast times on them? It isn't good enough to say "you would have been told on arrival"; lots of things were said on arrival after a long and busy journey. However this is a really good hotel in a fab location and I would definitely stay here again (and get down earlier for their incredibly good breakfasts).
- Barnsbury123 (8/5): Nice hotel - Good hotel, well located for town. Not far from heathrow. Good value. Traffic can be busy. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
- nottingham_UKBeanbag (10/5): Decent base for our trip. - The hotel was perfectly situated for Thorpe Park which was the reason for our stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful and available. Parking is not adjacent to the hotel but it is only a few minutes walk away and free if you register on arrival.
- 757ivannas (10/5): Great hotel with brilliant staff - We had a great stay at this branch in Addlestone. Location is good, car parking is free when you park in Addlestone One multi storey car park ,just remember to enter your registration at the hotel. Lovely members of staff!Nice clean rooms, quiet ,very comfortable beds.Housekeepers are very polite and helpful . Morning breakfast was very good with lots of choices, being served by Ukrainian lady Natalia. She was very friendly and attentive to us.The surroundings were very clean and pleasant to be in. Happy to return.
- U9067DLgeorgeb (10/5): Great stay - Had a great stay at this branch in Addlestone. It was very tidy, had lovely amenities and the staff were very polite and helpful.
- junemG5355WX (10/5): Great stay courtesy of Richard! - Just wanted to give a big shout out to Richard on Reception who was so kind to me and my family last Sunday. An all round good guy and the warmest welcome after a very long drive. Also the cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious, especially the sausages and hash browns! Highly recommended.
- 207leed (10/5): Great location, great management, perfect nights sleep - This hotel is one of the better Premier Inns in London. It is well positioned, has free parking short walk away, and is very clean and tidy. Despite obvious staffing challenges, the manager and her colleague were very friendly, attentive and full of smiles and made everyone feel important. She even got behind the food counter to help with breakfast due to chef availability issues. A great example of perfect management. The room was very clean and tidy, comfortable bed and quiet too. Great position in the high street with food venues all around you.
- Inver75 (4/5): Not good - First room (17) you could smell the dampness in the corridor before we opened the door
It took 20 seconds for my wife yto reject the room due to the overwhelming smell of dampness and foost
Back to reception, no hassle room 40 swapped to ,no reply made to comment of dampness and asking if they had a flood
Room 40 ok at first more towels supplied from reception as only 1 hand and 1 bath towel in the room
On return at 10pm the bar was shut no chance of a nightcap
However on going to bed the duvet not the cover stank of a smell simliar to curry ..the same with the 2 pillows on the bed ..not the sheets and pillows but the duvet inside the cover
Luckily spare pillows were better
Slept without duvet covering us
Plenty of noises during the night sound proofing rubbish people talking outside the window kids noisy next door
Couldnt even be bothered reporting it to the staff and getting the standard answers
So if this is your idea of a nice hotel ..be my guest
Ps.supply of water and toiletries exceptional great for getting the smell of curry out of your hair and body
Wont be back Sorry
- KSEH1 (10/5): Solo traveller - This is my second stay at this Premier hub. as a solo female traveller, I felt very safe here which is why I chose to stay again. The staff are really friendly, and the room is really clean, modern and although I visited in August I found the air-conditioning to be very good
I really like the set up of the Premier Inn hub rooms, although I think they would be more of a squeeze for Two.
I had breakfast on both mornings which, despite being a smaller offer than the main Premier Inn hotels were still really good. I also liked that I could help myself to tea and coffee at any time (note there’s no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms.)
Great location, I stayed here and did a lot of sightseeing and found the local tube networks really helpful. I also enjoyed a solo evening walk around the city. I cannot rate this highly enough and we will be staying again.
- brianfY478GK (4/5): Worst Premier Inn we have visited. - On the face of it Addlestone looks very modern, Waitrose downstairs etc. The room was fairly clean so no real complaints. We were at the theme park all day and tried on numerous attempts to get through to reception to book a table but no one answered till around 5.45pm when we were told we couldn’t eat till 8.15pm as they were booked up. We have to young girls who needed food after a long day. On checking in we were told we couldn’t come down at 7.45 if we liked so we were quite happy with that. The restaurant was dead when we went down which we thought was weird as they were booked up?? The meal we ordered however was very poorly organised, I didn’t get the right burger I ordered, a the fries should have been skin on but were regular oven chips. The girls ordered chicken bites but were given a sliced up breaded chicken. It was as though they had no chef on. Wife told me to leave it and not complain The drinks prices were horrendous for bottled beers ( no draft beers sorry). We paid up and went to bed. Around 2.00am we woke up red hot, air conditioning wasn’t working and couldn’t open a window so a bad nights sleep for all. Shower in thr bathroom ok, went to use the provided Baylis and Harding shower gel and it had been watered down, totally impossible to use. This is probably our worst Premier Inn visit ever and we’ve always used them as we love the set up. Doubtful we will ever use Addlestone again unless we were just very unlucky.
- Georgi (10/5): - Convenient location
- Pioneer50183574457 (10/5): Fantastic service. - I had an absolutely wonderful experience thanks to Yvonne and Callum. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and taken care of. Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine attentiveness made such a difference to my visit.
Yvonne was incredibly thoughtful and attentive to detail, ensuring everything was perfect, while Callum provided outstanding service with a friendly and approachable manner that made me feel right at home. Together, they created an experience that was seamless, enjoyable, and truly memorable.
Guest service like this is rare, and I’m so grateful to both Yvonne and Callum for making my time here so special. They are a credit to the team, and I look forward to returning thanks to the amazing impression they left.
- Hat1993 (10/5): The staff are amazing but it need a more staffing and chefs - The hotel staff that we had an experience with were absolutely brilliant and could not do enough for you. I would like to say a big thank you to Yvonne, Stacy, Callum who made our stay enjoy and a home from home stay with such friendly service. Please pass on our thanks. The premier inn needs to invest in more chefs for the site as two times during our stay the hotel restaurant was closed and there was nothing to eat due to the chef being on a day off. Which is not good enough. The room was clean and tidy. The premier inn needs to rethink the self service check in which it’s does not work most of the time and then requires a member of staff to come away for service to assist them with check in. This inturn affects the restaurant sevice/ experience when the restaurant is open. The staff really do well for the pressure they are constantly under due to low staffing levels instigated but premier inn.
- stevenjmuir (2/5): Poor Premier Inn - I booked this hotel for business. I turned up and checked in, booking a table for 7pm for the restaurant next to the hotel. I turned up just before 7pm and no reservation was made? When questioned the receptionist she said she just of “forgot”. The restaurant was quite busy and I had to wait a further 30mins to have food. The room itself did not have air con and was extremely hot. Would not use again.
- 45scottym (2/5): SHOCKING - Absolutely shocking experience so far, paid for room with dinner and breakfast, got here beds were not even made and staff were very rude and dismissive. Come down for dinner at 6 when the restaurant opens and we were told whoever told us it opens at this time is a liar and we were then booked in for 8.30 which we found really late for dinner. We then waited two hours and come down to dinner to be greeted by a sign which said sorry kitchen is closed as there is only 1 member of kitchen staff and over 20 guest wanting food. Will be hoping for a refund and will most definitely not be returning .
- lollonemesis (4/5): Only for a few days! - The central location is very good, as is the breakfast (very generous and offering both sweet and savory options).
The staff is friendly and polite, but not very helpful when it comes to requesting extra items for the room. Twice I asked for things I needed for my room, and both times, after being assured that they would be brought to my room, I had to go down and get them myself at the reception desk.
Finally, the room is very small, too small for two people, and the bathroom is made of glass and located in the middle of the room. As a result, there is no privacy, and it would have been better if this information had been clearly stated during the booking process.
- Q2415ERalexs (2/5): Room would be nice if cleaned - There was a red stain on the bed think it was blood so I explained to the women at reception who was very rude I explained about the stain she said do you want a deep clean or normal I just want my room to be cleaned so on the first night I had a few cups of tea so there was dirty cups on side no tea bags left when I come back later that day to find they had empty my bin and that was it dirty cups bed not even made is that how all customers are treated one thing the breakfast staff were lovely my family live next door we all went for breakfast they was so nice and friendly
- mariakI7339YL (2/5): Never again. Unsafe - We arrived at the hotel to be greeted by a horrible smell on the stairs, looked like a yellow round wee stain and really stank.
The whole corridors were not hoovered and heavily dusty.
Room was filthy, dirty bath, dirty cups, not seen an hoover in weeks, fingerprints on everything and water left in kettle.
We was woken up by a person running up and down the corridor in there underwear screaming that they had just been robbed of their phone. They didn’t want any police involved and it was all a bit shifty. One can only speculate what was happening in that room! A receptionist arrived saying that “they know this visitor” and entered the room with the half naked person. This left me a feeling unsafe.
The door lock leading from the stairs onto our floor (floor 2) was broken so anyone could enter from the stairway or even the lift.
We complained at the front desk who wasn’t surprised by this.
Never again. Avoid at all costs
- michaelwO3173IE (10/5): Staying for work - Staff at reception were very helpful and got me booked in very quickly! I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay here!
- L9906WJdavidw (8/5): Fantastic desk - Stephy has got to be one off the nicest person you will ever meet . Very calm very helpful doesn’t matter how much the guest me. Be so tied and missable he still manages to put you at ease . I have been lucky to stay in many hotels around the world be it 1 star or 5 stars . Your company is blessed to have him in your
Employment
- W7629VUstevenc (8/5): Ideal bijou hotel in a good location - Yes, the rooms are a bit bijou (i.e. small) but for a short stay the hotel is very well placed for shops (Boots, M&S food, Sainsbury's etc) and very close to stations (rail & underground). The staff are great and the whole place is so quiet. Hard to believe you're in London. We opted for breakfast which was good (and good value at £8) and bottomless! Highly recommended.
- Stuoct (2/5): Not nice but work booking - Starters brought 20 minutes between each other 2nd with the main course when question this accused of being abusive to staff and asked for room number threatening our stay not a nice experience on 1st of 3 day's in the hotel. Also short on stock, never told on arrival of having to book your meal times working away all the time and not a very good experience at all despite politeness in asking very poor
- glenmg2024 (8/5): Comfortable for price - The hotel is a bit old and tired, however the rooms were clean and fresh.
My only gripe that it was too warm and there is no air con
The food and service at the restaurant was great
- joaniebinedinburgh (8/5): Reasonable - Reception staff very friendly. Room fine, usual Premier Inn standard except there was no air-con and the room was 25 degrees. We opened the window as much as we could but firstly it was on a latch so couldn’t be fully opened which made sense as we were on the ground floor and secondly we had an unexpected knock on the door towards midnight and we think someone was trying to get into rooms. Somewhat worrying as there no longer was a chain for the door. Also you don’t need to use your key card to gain access to the floor, so it felt a little unsafe.
We had the dinner and breakfast deal and the restaurant staff were excellent. Food was what you would expect for the price point.
- P9886YTedwardf (10/5): High standards as always - Very clean room with usual spec and we had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and the food was plentiful and good standard. The waiting and serving staff were very good and extremely helpful. Always good service at this premier inn staff and a credit to their company.
- NumberZen (10/5): Very good - So the rooms are small but they’ve been well thought out which is perfect for a decent place to crash.
The rooms are ultra modern, very clean, bed is comfortable, shower is excellent and the aircon a god send.
Breakfast is decent and the staff very helpful and polite
If all the hubs are like this one then I’ll start using instead of premier/travelodge etc
I was very impressed
- 149daviep (10/5): Go To For Golfers - Warm non fussy welcome, rooms immaculately clean, great value and I will be back. Ideal for access to the golf courses in the Aberdeen area. The bar next door stayed open for us on a Sunday night, that was appreciated.
- TayyabaKhalil (6/5): Needs Improvement - They have very bad air conditions in the room ... The room is really small, even then they don't get cold.. You'll start sweating if you are simply packing your luggage. At night, the air condition stop cooling the room. I had to visit reception on 2 consecutive nights to ask what is the issue... After checking, the receptionist told me that it was automatically set to 28 and it stopped cooling the room.. Even though, they told me we have set it to 19, there was a slight change in the room temperature...
Other than this A/C issue, hotel location is good. Free coffee is also available throughout the day.
- rhiannonf630 (4/5): Good but hot… - The hotel is absolutely lovely, room was great for what we needed. However, we did not get an ounce of sleep because our room was 26 degrees. My husband went downstairs at 4 in the morning to ask if our A/C was broken and the man told us it was at 26 degrees and shouldn’t be that hot! Told us he fixed it and it should work but it didn’t, both ended up sitting down in reception drinking glasses of ice cold water in their nice cold a/c until the sun came up. We were booked in for 2 nights but absolutely could not stay a second night so actually stayed at a different hotel nearby which had great air con. We were told to use the fan in our room but all that did was blast the hot air around. Paid for 2 nights and only stayed one because of the unbearable heat. My brother was also staying at the hotel and said his room was a lovely temperature.
- SueN0603 (10/5): Can’t fault it!! - Really can’t fault this hotel!
Yes, the room is small, but it was smart and clean and we had everything we needed. We booked a king size room, bed was really comfy. Blackout blinds very effective! Clever use of space - loved the mini wardrobe behind the full length mirror. A proper hairdryer too!! The lights and air con all controlled by a very easy to use panel above the bed. Shower good too!
There is a nice little bar in reception, and the breakfast they offer is simple but very good value.
The staff were friendly and welcoming too.
- 93linneal (10/5): So good! - It was a really good stay that me and my boyfriend had. I was suprised how good it was! Breakfast and the super service was so so good! We really don't have any complaints.
- mrsmaureenm2015 (10/5): Close to many attractions in the city - Streamline no fuss rooms, that were really comfortable and had full air-conditioning/heating, a welcoming atmosphere in the centre of the city close to St Paul’s and just across the Thames from the tate modern and borough market. And 2 minutes walk from the underground station
- mbeno145 (10/5): Perfect little base in central London - Stayed here for 2 nights and really happy with it. Would definitely stay here again.
The rooms are small but that is expected with it being a hub version of premier inn. Perfectly fine for two people just using it as a base and not spending lots of time in the room. Bed was really comfortable. There is plenty of storage under the bed and 5 hangers for clothes. Bathroom was good standard, with nice powerful shower. Everything was perfectly clean.
The breakfast was great for £8 each. Just a smaller version of the standard premier inn breakfast.
Location was great. 2 minute walk to Bank underground station and 10 minute tube to Kings Cross. Easy 10-15 minute walking distance to Borough Market and Tower Hill areas, as well as Liverpool Street.
Not much open in the area on a Sunday afternoon / evening.
- liamfM4836ZY (10/5): brilliant stay - again it value for money. its my go to place now..staff are so nice and the place is clean. also away from everything but also most things very close aswell. there's a huge shopping centre a stone throw away..
- 498bobw (6/5): Hot hot hot - Nice hotel, great staff, clean and functional but it was way too hot in the room. The air con said it could take it down to 19degrees but the air was not cool, we reported it to reception several times and they were very amiable but could do nothing about it, no window to open so had no choice but to leave the door to the hallway open, it would definitely stop me staying there again, especially in summer, which is a shame because everything else was great!
- jessefH6252HI (8/5): Clean, simple and central + HUGE bed - Massive bed, very clean, super central. Ideal for our short stay. The staff were friendly and it was overall pretty quiet for being so centrally located. Tea and coffee aren't available in the room but they are available in the lobby free of charge. Also no fridge in the room - not a big deal but good to know if you're wanting a cold beer or wine.
- N2304AZlisas (10/5): Great stay - I thought this was going to be very basic and the room tiny, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Staff were all really friendly and happy to help - storing bag in the day and also the next day, filling up my water bottle - nothing was too much trouble. Complimentary coffee and fruit was a nice touch too. Room was basic, but had everything we needed and was big enough for a one night stop over in London. Super comfy bed.
- L5058YCannes (10/5): Good value hotel, friendly helpful staff - Good value hotel ideally situated for the beach esplanade and close to the city centre. Adequate free parking at the hotel. Room was good with comfy bed and tea/coffee making facilities. Extra tea and coffee available on request. Breakfast and evening meal good and staff in hotel and restaurant friendly and helpful. Special mention to Julie and Andrew at reception who were ready to help with any requests. Will use this hotel again if in Aberdeen.
- jamesdS7087JV (10/5): Great. - Hotel lovely, clean tidy rooms, staff excellent especially Natalie at Table Table @ Mill Of Mundurno. A great bunch of people and friendly staff. Breakfast cooked to perfection and very enjoyable and lots of choice. Can't complain at all.
- petemase26 (6/5): basic but clean and tidy - clean tidy and comfortable, pub with generic pub menu next-door but decent food, m&s is across the road to get lunch n snacks for work. Not much else in walking distance but i was there for work so it was fine. be ok on a trip as on a main road aswell.
- shionas367 (10/5): Good Experience will stay again - Very comfortable bed and friendly staff who were very welcoming. Staff offered assistance if anything else needed during my stay.
Usual accommodation from Premier Inn so nothing else to add but to say bed was extremely comfortable. Will happily stay there again when i visit Aberdeen on business
- EmmGee73 (6/5): Nowhere like the usual PI Standards - Booked for my son and I to have a base during a swim event nearby. On first seeing the hotel as we drove up I commented how run down it looked but was sure it would be up to the usual premier inn standards once we were inside.
However I couldn't be more wrong! Our room, on the ground floor, was extremely tired, dark and dingy and the bed divan had no sheet covering it and it all just looked really uninviting . The king-size bed was too
high off the floor , though it was actually not too bad comfort wise and the pillows were good. There were signs of mould and damp in the bathroom and the floors didn't appear very clean. The floorboards creaked horrendously, waking up my son when I got up during the night and we had a lot of noise from adjacent rooms until after 1am
I'm really curious to know if we were just unlucky to get an uncared for room, or if there are different standards available and how can you ensure you get a nice room?
The table table restaurant was good and the food was great and reasonable priced. The staff were extremely overworked and definitely stressed telling us they were 6 members of staff down so it was a bit of a shame especially given the hotel was so full with many swim teams. They were doing their best but the atmosphere could have been better.
Really don't think is go back to this hotel unless I knew for sure I'd get a room that resembled what you see on the website

- peterdQ1928CT (10/5): Good Hotel, Great Staff - I stay in this hotel a lot with work. I choose to stay here if i am visiting Aberdeen.
The hotel is always clean and tidy.
Staff are always friendly and welcoming.
Always a good experience.
I never leave with anything other than good things to say about my stay.
- joanney443 (6/5): Comfortable beds and clean, that's the only reason to stay. - The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the location was perfect for us visiting friends. Things we did not like, the hotel wanted £15 to give us a room key 45 minutes early. Our room was available and already cleaned, we travelled 6 & half hours via car and made good time. Upon check in we was not informed of breakfast time and where breakfast was located, we went down twice to ask but nobody on reception. Our room had a hole in the ceiling from a leak although that did not bother us. At 2am the room got extremely hot (24° and 28.5°!) even though our thermostat was turned down to 16. Tried to run a bath on the last morning but there was no hot water. Overall an average stay.
