Guest Reviews
- Khadijah (4/5): - All the stairwells smell like pee.
- cameron (2/5): - Roaches and everything in the bathroom was dirty
- Brian (2/5): - They walked into my room multiple times . Every stay they walk in.. I called them and told them and still walked in not ok
- eugene (2/5): Roaches In Room - My room was infested with roaches. Reached out to front desk for resolution but was never helped for the situation.
- Josephine (4/5): - We stayed one night last minute so we could get some rest on a long drive. The staff were very nice and at first glance our room was clean overall, but the next morning when we were packing up I did see about 4 small baby roaches like many had mentioned in the comments.
- nursultan (10/5): - All good
- Kim (2/5): - The worst property I have ever encountered. I immediately left.
- Genalin (2/5): - Our room wasn't clean when we checked in and i found a bag of syringes under the sheet. I was told that i came early that's why the room wasn't ready. And it was in fact 3:30 pm when i came. They put us in room 222, the door doesn't close all the way, we have to pushed really hard to be able to shut it! The room was smelling so bad and there was lots of hair on the flat sheet! The neighbors was loud and we don't feel safe so we ended up checking out 30 minutes after we checked in and move to a different motel. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
- Steven (10/5): - Room was clean and the staff was friendly
- Paul (6/5): - The property was undergoing exterior remodeling. Lots of guests loitering and smoking outside. No dishes available so bring your own. TV doesn't work, shower was not clean, and the room had an odor.
- Ross (10/5): - Hey
- Donna (8/5): Hard bed - The room was nice and clean. We would extended our stay to avoid traffic but the mattress was all springs. It was sleeping on rocks. Our bodies were hurting getting up in the morning. Get what you pay for.
- Bill (10/5): My ECSC weekend trip - It was the cheapest hotel I could find in Virginia Beach for ECSC weekend, but it was worth the trip. The room and amenities were great.
- Shada (2/5): - Never again they had roaches and trash everywhere. It looked like a homeless shelter
- Jeff (2/5): - Several roaches in the room, and some kind of red stain on the floor the I’m hoping wasn’t blood.
- Annalise (2/5): - Scary. The other residents stay outside all hours partying/yelling. We had roaches and the security lock on the door didn't latch properly.
- Jeanette (2/5): Never Again - ROACHES!
- Candace (2/5): - Nothing
- Tasha (2/5): - We arrived to check in, and I realized I forgot my ID states away. The guy behind the desk was very helpful in making sure we got checked in. Everything went smooth, so we went to the room. Upon opening the door we immediately noticed roaches. There were easily 15 roaches in the bathroom, crawling up the walls and going across the floor. There were bugs running under the beds and several of them huddled in the corner by the air unit. We immediately left the room and informed the clerk that we wanted to check out. He suggested looking at two other rooms. We went ahead and allowed him to show us, both rooms wreaked of cigarette smoke and the floors were very dirty. We ultimately left without a refund and were left no choice but to find a room at a different location. Overall this was not a good experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone!
- Alan (2/5): - Nothing terrible place
- Dominique Jumelle (2/5): - Property is incredibly dirty,in the environment is unsafe
- Dawn (10/5): - Price
- Sergio (2/5): - A lot of bed bugs
- Caprice (2/5): - I never felt more unsafe at a hotel in my life. People are living here and hanging out on the balcony. Roaches EVERYWHERE inside and the shower was so disgusting I had to put a towel in to shower to then have no hot water.
- Tim (2/5): Perhaps the Worst Motel in VA Beach - This was by far the SKETCHIEST Hotel I have ever booked.
Initially, the hotel looked a little run down when I arrived, but it’s older… so that was to be expected.
I checked in at the desk. The guy checking me in was nice enough, no issues there.
The “lobby” is also a convenience store, which was strange but still ok.
When I drove my car around the corner to park and find my room, the entire scene changed. The “Residents” were all over the place. Coming in & out of there rooms. Doors left open. One guy was crashing out in his doorway!
A lot of “Business” was taking place…. And none of the good kind.
I got out of my car to check my room… I turned a corner and had to walk through a dark passageway leading into the interior courtyard area. I was spooked!
I didn’t even open my room’s door. I just bounced!
There is nothing safe about this hotel. Im sad I lost my night’s fee, but its better than having my vehicle messed with or worse.
One last thing: I booked a Smoking Room in error. I asked the Desk Clerk if I could get a Non-Smoking room. He said there were no Non Smoking rooms… ALL ROOMS WERE SMOKING!
I’ve stayed in Bad hotels in the past…But this one was on a whole other level of terror!
- Kyle (6/5): - Nice room. Rough outside the property
- Joseph (2/5): - I stayed out of necessity. People appear to live at this place, hanging outside their rooms smoking and being noisy until 3am. I killed so many roaches, and there were also flies and a huge spider. Also, the whole place is rundown, dirty, even the landscaping. It’s just a crap hotel.
- mary (2/5): - They have cockroachs and I mean everywhere and the sink didn't drain the room was dirty we had to clean it before we got our stuff inside and there was public hair all over the bathroom. Killed about 50 roaches. Had to stay and watch for them didn't want them crawling on my kids
- Sarah (2/5): - When we got there our room wasnt ready. We had to wait 2 hours and it was still not ready. So we went to the beach. When we got back the bed was okay but there was filth all around the room. The microwave was so nasty i would not let my dog lick it. The Ac was working half way so we had to go buy box fans. My parents room was around the corner they had to kill 7 roaches. They had people yelling and throwing stuff in the next room. The lady that was at the front desk was very nice and did give us free pop and suckers for the kids.
- Michelle (4/5): - We got there and it was a lot of people putside that would just stare at us, their was a mini explosion with some cables but it got smokey and they came to check it out.. we left our room a little open since we were next to our ither family and we were going back and forth.. around 11pm the door was cracked open and one of they guys thought it was okay to just come in.. talking to my minor sisters.. we told him to get out, he was expressing he wasnt harmful but why would u just come in? Anyways the other owners were very nice and respectful the rooms werent very clean and environment didnt feel too safe. 2/5 experience
- Mason (2/5): - We checked in and on the way to our room we noticed how horrible this place was. I took the key card right back to the front desk and told them we would not be staying. I would definitely not recommend this place to anybody. It was nasty. The area was horrible and just the things I saw outside of the property I would not feel safe for me and my wife staying there.
- Julie (6/5): - Was cozy convenient & walkable distance to beach
- Meilin Xiomara (10/5): - Great place
- Meilin Xiomara (10/5): - Great
- Nikki (8/5): - The evening staff was so helpful an caring I had an issue on my end an he was so helpful to help me figure out an alternative solution thank you it means slot they also have a store in the lobby very helpful
- Christopher (10/5): - The outside was not that great but the inside of the rooms was great very up to date and clean and the residents of the hotel was very friendly and made us feel very welcome and hated to see us leave and go home
- Kyoko (4/5): - The fridge was broken and the shower was dirty with mold and limescale. There is no hot water in the kitchen or shower.
- lorry (8/5): - Nice updated rooms
- Adam (2/5): - Property was tras
- Steven (8/5): - Hot water was poor other than that was nice and relaxing
- Ferney (8/5): - The room was good, but the around has too much smell a piss
- Tameika (10/5): - Everything was clean and peaceful
- Tameika (10/5): - Very friendly great customer service, room smelled great nice and clean . My stay was relaxing and peaceful. I would stay again and I would recommended guest stay here. Also have a store as convenience for the guest.
- Tameika (10/5): - Very peaceful
- Leana (4/5): - Did not like it here the only good thing was the mini convenience store in the lobby other than that it wasn’t my cup of tea
- Tameika (10/5): - Very clean
- Michael (4/5): - Limited lobby hours. Was checking out early (6:30 am) and lobby closed. Just left key in room and hoped it was okay.
- Edward (2/5): - Smoke alarm beeping. A/c blowing warm air, front cover of A/C laying on the floor. Back of toilet was very loose when you went to flush. Looks like someone cut the bathroom door with scissors to fit. The A/C unit wasnt even properly sealed. You could see the parking lot from the corners. I had to use garbage bags to try and seal the room. The whole property is under renovations. Some units were totally gutted. Construction materials scattered in the court yard. Property full of trash. Parking lot needed to be swept. The lobby/store was the best looking part of the property. At least I had clean towels, hot/cold water and a working refrigerator and no mosquitoes.
- William (2/5): - The property had live and dead roaches all inside the room. The bathroom was filthy. I checked in and checked out 5 mins later. I deserve a refund
- Xavier (8/5): - Small quiet community
- Jonathan (4/5): - Billed as extended stay with a kitchenette, the kitchenette consisted of a microwave and one very small stove top with two tiny burners. The burners were set so close together, they a normal pan and pot could not be used simultaneously. The back burner was so close to the wall, an pan would not sit squarely on the burner, because the wall prevented it.
There were no amenities like pots, cooking utensils, or a coffee pot. The sink could not fit a dinner plate. There was no trash can in the room.
The pillows were way past their useful stage, flat and thin. There were no drawers- just shelves to put things on, so bending down to get items was a chore.
Towels and bedding were not changed, even weekly. I had to go to the front desk to exchange towels.
The place is being renovated, so as rooms are torn out, there is construction noise from 0800 to 1800. That is understandable- but the roaches in those rooms are being displaced. They are rather numerous, and I was awakened one night by a roach crawling on my arm.
The room never lost its smell of smoke, but the a/c wall unit chugged along like a trooper. Not the best place I've stayed at.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Roaches
- Don J (2/5): - A hang out and bad surroundings,firty
- Destiny (2/5): - I had roaches in my room. I tried to bypass it since I wasn’t paying for luxury; but when the bugs were crawling on me while I was in the bed I knew this wasn’t a place to come back to stay at regardless of how cheap it is.
- Michele (2/5): - Trash everywhere and room below mine was being remodel and Jack hammering at 8.30am, couldn't sleep
- Tracy (4/5): - The management is in the process of remodeling the room so expect to hear construction start at 8am. I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and the room itself was ok except for the roaches. I killed 15 in one night. The fumes from bug spray made my granddaughter nauseous. The outside of the building was dirty and sketchy. We left early and didn’t stay the 2nd night.
- michael (2/5): - This was the most ghetto place I have ever seen in my life and I’ve been to the county jail. It like the projects but worse. Most places were full of hood folk living there crackheads people smoking weed barking dogs creaming kids dirty as F**k. There is a poker machine in the lobby and a hood mart. There was an older white guy head covered in tats bellowing for an ace bandage. All that I figured it’s outside your room whatever. Tough it out.
Then I seen roaches inside the room. And got a refund and go the hell out of there
It would make a great reality show folks wouldn’t believe it
- Medea (2/5): - Receptionists were awful, rude, un knowledgeable about checking in or even providing the correct room purchased.
- Rasheed (10/5): - Great
- Jenny (2/5): - The room was dirty. and smelled of cigarette smoke. the floor was dirty didn’t look like it was swept or mopped. there was one curtain covering the window and it was very dirty the shower was dirty. there were bugs i seen about 4 roaches. the room looked like it was remodeled but dirty. we did have clean towels. the place is very sketchy and looks like there are people that live there. overall just a decent room to crash in for the night. The staff was very nice though and the lobby was clean and smelled good.
- LaRae (4/5): - The facility is undergoing renovations. For 3 hours I listened to drilling, hammering & other construction sounds. The outside looks really sketchy. There were doors w/ huge dents that looked like someone tried to kick them in. Graffiti & a smell. My door didn't have any additional locking method. The room was clean, the bthrm was iffy. Dead bug in the floor & the shower floor was disgusting. No hot water-not even warm. The bedding & the pillows were sketchy. Ultimately I never stayed. I left after about 3hrs for my event & never went back.
- William (10/5): - I got a room that had been fully removed. Friendly staff. No problem to extend my stay. The price is also the lowest in VA Beach.
- Rasheed (10/5): - Comfortable
- William (10/5): - Everyone was friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (4/5): convenient - It was good for what it was just somewhere decent to crash for the night. I appreciate the renovations being done i actually liked my room and can see it being better when its done. You can tell people live there as well.. i did not care for my neighbors being loud and rude and disruptive for most of the night but otherwise its worth the price for a night.
