Yulissa (10/5): Best experience. - Great hotel. The customer service was incredible. The employees attended us wonderfully. The location wasn’t bad either. Least then a 30 min train ride into the city. The area does look stretchy but the people aren’t bad. Everyone minds their own business and keeps it moving. The local delis in the area were a great stop for food and essentials. The train station being less than a ten minute walk wasn’t as bad either. The hotel room was small. The furniture is up to date but does have some scratches which are normal. The bathroom was small but doable. We weren’t in the hotel room that much only when we were ready for bed since we were mostly in the city. The only thing that I would say is that there is construction happening but I truly didn’t hear anything until my last day. It still wasn’t bad to make this location not likable. I would be back again. My experience was lovely.

oleg (10/5): - The room was clean and the stuff was awesome. I slept like a baby. The area at night felt a bit scary walking from subway but there was always police and our vacation went amazing. Do your own research. But hotel is great location for biking to Manhattan. I am happy for the price I paid totally worth it.

Tobias (6/5): Decent but urban and noisy - The hotel is good. The area around queensbridge is poor and 'urban gritty'. Lots of police sirens at night. The junkyard next door has trucks backing in with loud signals starting around 4.50AM. Fair value, but I will probably pay a bit more and have a quieter environment.

Esa (8/5): - The room was nice and clean and the staff were friendly, I didn’t like that there were no water bottles to drink in the room I had to buy from outside the hotel they could have put at least one small bottle for each one of us, the other thing I didn’t like was that our booking was with breakfast but we had to check out earlier so we missed breakfast and the hotel didn’t give us any sandwiches to take with us. But in general the hotel was good

It seems staff was friendly neighborhood a little sketchy absolutely no parking technically a free-for-all you park wherever you can, but there’s a lot of signage making parking very limited. But luckily public transportation was a 10 minute walk, but it wasn’t terrible.

Harry (4/5): - Don't be fooled by the pictures I sure was. This was surely a one and done for me. First night all night parties that lasted until 3 or 4 in the morning on the street corner. The neighborhood is rough to say the least. Dirty streets, people sleeping in their cars. I will do a better job researching next time for sure.

My greatest dislike was the location: long walk to the nearest subway thru urban areas that were not the best, however large police presence made that a little less uncomfortable; not many choices for food other than fast food or gas station convenience stores.

The room was hot and the AC was not running. There was desk but no chair in the room so I couldnt work.The gym equipment was broken (bench and there was only the one.) It wasn't horrible but it wasn't good.

Laketta (4/5): Clean Hotel with Unattentive Staff - First there’s no parking not even limited parking for unloading your luggage plus there’s no hotel parking deck either!!! Breakfast is from 6am and over by 9am!!! Nope you can’t even get coffee! PBA: To all those Late Checkoutters like myself the latest time for check out is 12noon and if you go over the 12 noon checkout, you will be charged a $100 for late check out which is good til 2pm! Plus the hotel charges a $100-200 deposit for the entire reservation which I got back a day or 2 after check out!!! Long wait time a receptionist check in/outs!!! I just didn’t like the vibe of the staff, not attentive to the guests, rushed, rude to some, just not focused at all!!! Hotel is clean but staff needs more training on hospitality and customer service!!!

Jalia (4/5): - I will never stay at this property again. I chose this hotel for its proximity to where I needed to be, but I was unaware of the surrounding area. It’s located in a heavily policed neighborhood, which made me feel uneasy. The property was advertised as offering breakfast, but there was no real breakfast provided, just coffee and a few store-bought baked goods. On the first night, the AC worked, but it stopped functioning for the remainder of my stay and was never fixed. One night, the fire alarm went off just as I was preparing for bed. No one came to inform guests of what was happening, I had to call the front desk myself, only to be told there was no emergency. That lack of communication was extremely concerning. Additionally, I had to request fresh towels every day, but even then, the towels were dirty. One had a stain so repulsive I immediately threw it on the floor and washed my hands. The shower itself wasn’t clean either. If I could get a refund, I would. This property did not meet the basic standards expected for the rate I paid.

Renee (8/5): Astoria stay - This stay was a great deal for the price. The location was pretty removed but had good subway access. The room was comfortable and coffee and pastries were available every morning.

The rooms were small, which we could deal with, however the air conditioning in our room didn't work, the vent in our bathroom began leaking and when we called someone to fix it they never did, there was a high pitch squealing noise during the night, we tried to find ice on every floor only to be told it was on the very bottom floor, the surrounding neighborhood isn't too glamorous (we didn't have a problem with this but expected different), and after all of that we still had to pay full price.

Erika (4/5): - I had a pleasant stay at the nedia hotel overall. The room was very clean, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable, the mattress were made for a good nights rest. The staff was somewhat friendly and environment was quiet which i appreciated. That said, there were a few things missing that would have made the stay more convenient. There was no airport shuttle, also the rooms did not include a mini fridge or a microwave. We had also wished that the hotel included free breakfast and a pool. If you are looking for a clean and quiet, comfortable place to stay its solid but don't expect any extras.

Marisia (8/5): - This place was convenient to the F train and right outside the stop are several chains to eat at. A very affordable option. New, clean hotel. The area has a lot of garages and the public housing nearby. Common sense about safety should not be an afterthought. Overall very pleased!

Avigail (4/5): - I reached out in regards of being able to check in around 1AM - 2 AM due to my flight arriving so late at night, but I wanted to make sure I had a place to stay for the night. They told me yes and thanks for letting them know so I thought I was all set. I arrive around 1 am and the receptionist tells us there’s no rooms so we have to wait until 3 PM to check in. I had to go find another place to stay for the night and spend unnecessary money so that was fun. After we finally checked in the hotel stay was decent.
