Guest Reviews
- Gail (8/5): - Lovely accommodation, well presented, . Agree with a comment I have seen - hooks for bathroom / towels would be useful. Lovely spot, right by the river, walking distance ( fairly level)to Windermere Lake and boats etc. Eating places also within walking distance, plenty others short drive away( Anglers Arms, Masons Arms). Bus stop very handy if needed.
Nice patio furniture, suntrap in the morning. Obviously outdoor space shared so not private. One picnic table / one bench on the grass by the river for the two properties, have suggested doubling up. Parking / garden for house to the rear is level with a bedroom window, only noticed an issue one evening with guests, inconsiderately sitting right outside the window to enjoy the sun - why would anyone think it was acceptable?! Blinds and curtains were promptly shut, as they were oblivious.Plenty room elsewhere for them. We were on our way out, they were gone when we returned later.
However, we had a lovely stay, out most of the time in good weather, accommodation is a very good standard, if you're ok with the shared space, ( and most people do respect that).
