- jee hyun (10/5): - The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! You can cook Alberta beef right there because the kitchen has everything you need. I loved their gift set—it even included wildflower seeds. They also provided a dog bed, dog food and water bowls, and a dog blanket. The bathrobe was amazing—great quality and perfect for stepping outside at night to look at the stars. The soap was excellent too, and the bed was an adjustable motion bed so you could raise the head or leg area. They even had board games. Everything was perfect, but I have a couple of small suggestions: It would be great to have a full-length mirror. A few more hooks in the bathroom would be helpful for hanging clothes or towels.

- Laura (6/5): - unfortunately this stay hasn’t met our expectations. Arrival had to wait 45 mins for someone to check us in even thoguh communicated we would be checking in We booked this stay originally being told that there was a food service (as we only have a short amount of time here we didn’t want to waste time grocery shopping) but when I reached out a couple of days before we were informed that that now wasn’t an option, and we have found that food nearby there is only gas station food. False advertising about Nordic spa as looks like it’s on the property Lastly the way the stay is advertised with a luxury touch we found didn’t quite meet expectations your instagram includes photos of Aesop toiletries and boasts ‘free toiletries’ when in reality it is cheap toilet role and just shampoo and body wash. Having said that the location is stunning and the bed was extremely comfortable. We did reach out to the property before posting this feedback but got no response.

When they build the cabins in the front it will lose its seclusion, but for now its the best location in our opinion. The only thing missing is a private hot tub. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for an INCREDIBLE stay.

It’s so perfect… the views, the size of the place, the amenities, the beauty rest adjustable bed… to die for. The host is amazing! we woke up to a deer outside our window in the morning, the mini toaster/air fryer cooks your breakfast so fast and is the perfect addition to a stocked kitchen. Shower pressure is awesome, patio out front is an added bonus for the amazing views. Can’t say enough! Hope the prices stay the same so this doesn’t become an untouchable for the rich!

It’s the perfect retreat if you’re looking for tranquility and a more authentic experience in the Rockies. Plus, Kananaskis has so many beautiful spots to explore—lakes, trails, and scenic lookouts that rival anything in Banff, but without the crowds. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway with comfort and unbeatable scenery. We’ll definitely be back!

Quiet, unique, clean, with nearly everything you could need in a stand alone unit. I will definitely be back again for a disconnect from the daily grind and reconnection back to nature, from the comfort of an extremely comfortable queen bed with a huge window looking out on the mountains!
