Lourdes (2/5): - What I was disappointed in is the that we booked a cheap room and they used pictures from their upgraded rooms when advertising. So you think you’re getting a great deal because of pictures but those are their high priced rooms. What you get is the bottom of barrel outside trashy rooms that are dated and dingy. What can you expect for $40 bucks. So if you want a room for cheap to sleep and leave like we did it’s fine, but anything longer I would never book there again.
Mark (6/5): - It seemed pretty safe. The one thing that I didn't like was there Internet was on Pacific Time and they were on Mountain Time Zone. Not many stores near by but Jackpot isn't a very big town.

David (4/5): - Let's start by pointing out that all the good reviews do not apply to what they call the annex. No fridge, no microwave, no ice but plenty of houseflies. No soap or body wash so just make do with shampoo. No one on the desk to check in because they were at a BBQ so that was somewhat chaotic. Our "smoke free" room was smokey but to be fair it's a casino and the whole place is smokey. Oh..and the carpet was sticky. Is that enough?

Michelle (4/5): Sad - Booked on line chose to pay at hotel. Went in to get room and found out that we were staying in the back behind the casino. This was never stated when I booked the room if it had been I wouldn’t have stayed there I would have went to cactus Pete’s. We have stayed here before and booked on line and we stayed at the casino hotel. Don’t know if I’ll stay here again.
L Patrick (6/5): - Reserved a non smoking pet room. They had us set up for a non pet room. Told us that their pet rooms are all smoking only. They agreed to put us in a non smoking "emergency" pet room. That room wasn't ready for another 30 minutes. They blamed Hotels.com for the screw up

Perry (8/5): A sure go to for a stay. - I was pleasantly surprised the by the quality of the room appointments, supplied shampoo and conditioner, liquid hand and body soaps. The towels were folded in a friendly and inviting fashion, this is something that made the room feel more like I was at home rather than on a road trip. The only minor negative was, the Hotel is a little dated on the outside. Other than the above, I have already mentioned this lovely hotel as a go to go while on a road trip through Jackpot NV.

This worked great for me because I have to leave stuff in my car. Everyone who worked there was very nice and helpful, the room was clean, and the price very affordable. I'll definitely be back for this one.
Craig (8/5): Cheap place for budget conscious travelers - Stayed in the back (up the hill). It was cheap and worth what I paid. Its good to have options like this as I had to go in and out of Ely for court and do not like to drive after dark (I am in Boise)

The staff is older in age and kinda slower which normally is no big deal but we had to wait 15 minutes for the ONE desk person to get back from break. We were exhausted and just wanted to check in and sleep.... it took forever. We book a nuce king suite and had LITS of bags so we used a bell cart not kniwing the suites have stairs in front of them. So we had to unload the cart, haul our bags up about 30 feet and do the same to return.... it was just exhausting.
Verified traveler (8/5): Good place to stay for a night. - Good place to stop for the night when driving through or enjoy a night to get away. The property is dated. But the staff was friendly and the price of our stay was good. If you are not looking to stay in a modern hotel with all the current technology. This property will be a match for you. Overall comfort is decent and the room was clean. Other guest were friendly too. I will stay for a night again.

Pay more and stay elsewhere.

Verified traveler (6/5): Sometimes the old way is better. - Parts were all right. Parts were a disappointment. The room location was good, with easy access to the adjacent lobby, casino and parking. The beds were a good height, but not very comfortable. The coffee service provided in the room wasn't appropriate to the coffee maker (loose grounds & no filter on the caffeinated coffee) The room had a mini fridge, but no microwave. The outlets were not in convenient locations and there were not enough without unplugging other things. The double lamps over the beds had a faulty switch that would not turn to 'off' and had to be unplugged in order to sleep. The hotel had apparently changed owners within the last year and although a hot tub was advertised online we were told that there wasn't one. Also, what was a lovely and trendy gift shop has been emptied of merchandise and turned into a small display room if the wonderful life-sized Star Wars characters, along with several of the large collection of antique juke boxes that had all been displayed all over the entire property in the past. Why? They were part of the ambient atmosphere of Barton's and it was a real shock to see them moved into a small corner, away from the larger casino area. The most important disappointment for our group was the changed casino. From not even having a few tables open at all on Monday and Tuesday (we arrived Monday), to putting in multi deck card shufflers like at Cactus Pete's (that was why we mainly gambled at Barton's!), to removing many slot machines.

I think they need to have a breakfast menu for those staying during the middle of the week and not just on weekends. The dinner food was excelent.

Daniel (10/5): - I'm very happy to have found this motel on my way back to Las Vegas. It is affordable and the room was adequate for my needs in an overnight stay. Reception was kind and helpful and the room clean and comfortable and yet very adequate for me. I was just sleeping the night I would gladly stay again and recommend anyone who has a need for an overnight stay on their trip to to stay.
