- Phuong (6/5): - Room was really small for one person. My stuff for my 5 day stay was everywhere. The fan made knocking noise, the TV remote was missing and did not work for 2 days. The lights flickered in the bathroom during the day but not early in the mornings. Will not be staying again.

- Nancy (10/5): Quaint hotel with quiet neighborhood - Super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent Hightide cafe in lobby with breakfast and lunch options. I would definitely stay here again. There are a few steps to navigate to checkin and get to rooms. Within walking distance to lots of food, shopping and city buses.

- Stephen (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable. Everything worked. Plenty of hot water in shower. Needed to walk a few blocks to restaurants and shopping if you didn’t have a car. Keyless entry for hotel and room. Didn’t interact with staff but they texted us all the information we needed in plenty of time. Could here footsteps from room above at night-not big deal.

- Norman (10/5): Nice Clean Hotel Near Downtown - Nice clean hotel, comfortable bed friendly staff. A little coffee shop in the lower level and a nice bakery breakfast-lunch place a block away. Easy 4 block walk to downtown. We arrived early and they were able to store our luggage until the room was clean about 12:30 for early check-in. No elevator, but they helped get luggage upstairs

We walked to dinner and there were several restaurants between the Highliner and our preferred dining spot. It was pretty clean and quite pleasant.

- Christopher (8/5): Solid for the price. - Overall the bed is really comfortable. Small room and it smelt a bit like smoke but overall I was happy with it considering the location. Great bakery right near by. Was the best price I could find in the peak of the season. Still super happy - but they collected garbage at 7am and woke me up.

Used provided phone number for issue that was posted inside building. No staff Avail able at 5 :30 pm. Red Awning service sent phone numbers but no one answered x 3. 40 minutes later called another number and we finally got assistance to get codes. Bed comfortable. Easy to get to airport for early flight
- Janet (8/5): - This is a great option for a spacious room in a good neighborhood in Anchorage. We have stayed here repeatedly as our travels have cycled through Anchorage. Hotel is self service for checking in and out. Have had almost no contact with staff.
- Shalimar (8/5): Clean and comfortable - This place was reasonably priced with clean and comfortable accommodations. Hot shower with excellent water pressure. In room coffee maker, if you didn't want the coffee from the onsite coffee shop.

- Sheri (10/5): Great Experience in Anchorage! - We weren’t sure about this hotel initially since we were arriving after hours with no ‘human’ on duty. But the experience was awesome. Received code to our room day of arrival. Room was clean and comfortable. I left something on premises and when I reached out they went out of their way to find it and ship it back to me. Very close to Alaska Railroad for train ride to cruises. Perfect for our purposes! Highly recommend!

Incredibly small room I felt trapped couldn’t move around room with out stubbing my toes on the bed frame that took up 99% of the room. Sketchy internet. Wasn’t for me at all for $350 per night. very uncomfortable uneasy feeling being in such small quarters.

- Teresa (10/5): Comfortable, clean, quiet, and a good price - The Highliner is a small hotel in a building that has been renovated. It’s clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bathroom was a bit small but everything in the room worked well. I wasn’t sure how a fully automated hotel would work, but it was great. The staff was responsive and provided information via text and phone. We’d stay there again.
- Surendedr (6/5): - The room was TINY.They should display the roomsize in the description of the room.Never experienced a room this size and the price was high.Whenhey say "world's first automated hotel" they mean it. Did not see a single person during my stay because they are there only for a few hours during the day, which makes it inconvenien for arrivals after 6 p.m which is the case for most flights from the mainland. he room codedid notwork and had to call someone which is not what I wanted to do after a long flight. No eating establshments within half a mile.Biggest disappointment was the room size.

- Lisa (6/5): - This hotel is cute and has a coffee shop attached to it. Our bed bed was comfortable and the room was clean. It’s in a great part of town and it’s walkable to a lot of places in Anchorage. Our room was 314 which did not have windows to the outside but to a communal hallway. The room got very warm and they had an air condition in the room free standing. It was not installed properly and blew cold air in the front and hot air in the back. If we were in another room with windows to the outside, probably would have been a better experience.
- Lori (8/5): May never be back to Alaska - but I'd stay here! - Came to town for Anchorage Mayors Half Marathon and chose based on finish line and downtown proximity. Both front desk ladies were amazing but the room could use some updating. The gaps in the window shades made sleep difficult during solstice. Bottled water would also be an excellent guest touch in the room. I lovednthe security of the building and of the room with your personaln access pin.
- Hannah (10/5): Cute Hotel! - Such a cute hotel! Check-in was so easy with info texted to me and simply using a code for the door lock. We only stayed one night, but the room was very cute and in great shape. We spent time the morning we left in the hotel coffee shop, where the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. A really great stay in Anchorage! Close walk to downtown restaurants.

- Elisabeth (10/5): Anchorage Hidden Treasure - I love this charming little hotel! It even has a coffee shop inside and a little cafe with wifi. Late checkout was a great option to have. It's very close to Pablo's Bike Rentals so you can go for a ride on the Tony Knowles Coastal trail if you like that kind of thing. I will definitely stay here again.

The woman in the coffee shop was friendly and efficient. Only annoyance was the ceiling fan which went erratically back and forth between fast and slow.
- jerry (6/5): - Room was clean but very small. We had just been on a cruise and this room was smaller. Didn't realize there was no daily maid service, but we asked for towels and coffee and they did get them for us.
- richard (2/5): - The bed was incredibly uncomfortable with a large dip on one side. You could not open the window as it opened into a communal landing and the room was stuffy and claustrophobic. There was no sound insulation and you could hear people talking and walking around, doors banging all hours. This in my opinion is only suitable for students on a budget.

- Yajaira (10/5): Great spot! Comfortable, clean and easy check in. - We flew in very early into Anchorage (12:30 am) We only stayed for the night as we were driving to Seward in the morning. The check in process at that hour was seamless and we were given excellent instruction. Furthermore, the room was in great condition and was very comfortable. It had what we needed and it gave us the chance to rest after a long day of travel (We were traveling back from Costa Rica) I would gladly recommend this spot.
