Guest Reviews
- Adrienne (8/5): - This place is so close to public transport and very walkable for all kinds of shopping. The one downfall is that despite it being extended stay it doesn’t have a ton in the way of kitchen supplies (like 4 plates, a handful of bowls, no paper towel) other than that we really thrived in this locale for our fist Vancouver visit.
- Cheryl (10/5): Great Stay! - It was very clean! Convenient to all we needed!
- Helene (8/5): - Clean and confortable
- Donna (4/5): - The area was terrible. Large groups of homeless across the street and adjacent building shabby. Felt very unsafe.
- Genevieve (8/5): - Amazing property - well located and super clean.
They would just need to improve communication. Many automated messages but difficult to get repolies
- Joel (10/5): - Convenient location access to train, shops and landmarks.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good value for money. Very modern apartment. Everything was in good condition . Staff is responsive via chat. Only downside is that you cannot drop off your suitcase until ~10.30 am, which is late when you get in at 8am.
- Holly (8/5): - Very clean and quiet, secure lodging in core downtown 8 minutes from cruise terminal walking. The check in on a Saturday took one hour standing outside trying to text, email and only getting canned respons. Was finally allowed in by another traveller who managed to find housekeeping to let me in. Very distressing.
- Andrew (6/5): Location good, let down by the little things - Location is good despite many homeless on street outside. Upon arrival bedrooms were only set up as 4 singles. Initially blamed me as I did not request a double however my booking clearly stated a double and two singles. Finally they agreed to remake two singles into a double. Also, grout dirty in shower, no wine glasses and uncomfortable couch.
- Lorraine (10/5): - Location Location if you are going on a cruise & want to spend a couple of nights. Safe inside the building. Outside, there are the homeless it is all areas of downtown. Lots of eateries, Public transport nearby, All good.
- Robert (6/5): - Pros
1. Property is clean and access secure
2. Beds comfortable. Appliances worked well
3. Very central to all attractions. Bus and train access nearby.
Cons.
1. Informed office 3 times that flight would arrive at 7:30 and we would be at hotel at 9:00 or so. we arrived at 8:30. No staff when we arrived. Our key fob was waiting for us in our room but elevators don't work without fob. Had to wait until another guest arrived and was going to our floor before we got in. Guests going to other floors couldn't stop at our floor. Stair access locked. Other guests arriving had same problem. Staff informed us we were expected at 7:30.
2. Unfortunately homelessness and opioid problems very apparent on this block.
3. constant ambulance sirens
3.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - There was only 1 towel. No face clothes. Otherwise, A+
- Radine (6/5): - We could not get onto the property right away and was not given clear instructions on use of fob key for the elevator and building access. Employee who helped us appeared to not be knowledgeable and had to keep checking with manager. Also employee left bedding in apartment snd left if unlocked while we were away.
- Brenda (8/5): Property great, neighborhood slightly concerning - The property is nice and extremely clean and is generally in a good location for tourist activities. The main reason for 4 vs 5 stars is that this one block has vagrants outside the long term stay / rehab facility across the street and around the corner in front of Hotel Canada . Also, the depiction of the exterior and surrounding businesses does not show the true nature of what this block looks like
- Jose (10/5): - The property it was excellent. I don’t have any excuse because it was nice nice and clean when I arrive the people they were nice speaking to me in my own language, but the only problem was very difficult to find the property. Maybe it was difficult for me because it’s the first time staying in the property maybe that’s why from there everything that was in excellent excellent conditions.
- Sandra (10/5): Very safe place with brand new facilities - A bit of a mixup tegarding my request for twin beds. They initially put us in a room with a queen when the booking clearly said twin beds. It did get sorted out.
Had to ask for a frying pan as none existed in the room
Parking is an issue. The listing needs to make it clear that parking is only available in nearby garages
- Karr (8/5): - It was good value but I’d prefer a hotel with services.
