- Verified traveler (6/5): Terrible Place to Stay!! - Terrible place to stay! Waiting on average 25mins for a lift is ridiculous. Constant banging on the walls from the room next door at random times throughout the night gave me a heartattck at 3am. Requested 11am checkout night before, girl said all good put it in the system, get a call at 10.15am from a rude staff member saying I have missed checkout by 15mins, I told her I requested an 11am checkout last night, she did not care or try to be accomatading. 5mins later loud thumping on the door from housekeeping who where just as rude. Would never recommend staying here!!

- beatrice (2/5): - Was so disappointed during my stay, after check out forgot a bottle of perfume . Rung the following day to ask if house keeping had found it while cleaning the room. We were told the room had not yet been cleaned and they would let us know. Mind you that was a day after check out. So to me that meant rooms aren’t cleaned for days. And also the staff are dishonest. I have stayed at plenty hotels where I have left stuff behind and able to recover them. Do not recommend
- Georgia (10/5): Great views and new residence - Great location to explore Brisbane, enjoy the wharf precinct and casino - short walk to things to see and do. Room was brand new with everything you need. Great views of the city and river! Would stay again, loved it.
- Southern Cross (10/5): - Location was amazing as expected. Unit was clean and modern. I cant believe they've built a brand new apartment block with physical keys to enter the door, only 3 lifts which leads to huge wait times to get up to your floor, and non block out blinds. Dont have a big night at the casino unless you want the sun waking you haha

There was no room service and the room had no microwave, there was a coffee pod machine but no milk frothing machine so can’t make coffee with warm milk. The spa had no water, sauna wasn’t hot & steam room not working as door didn’t close properly so couldn’t use facilities i had planned to whilst staying there. Over priced given not able to use facilities & poor room amenities. I wish i stayed somewhere else like Star casino hotel as they have same price range but with more inclusions.

- Jane (8/5): - Only there for a few hours and needed sleep so admit to being grumpy. Reception not being staffed, not responding to buzzing or mobile calls so left to stand in the cold for 20 minutes at 1am was distressing.
- Marine (8/5): Un hôtel bien situé - Quelques jours avant notre séjour, nous avons reçu un mail avec des indications pour arriver à l’hôtel. La réception est convenable. La chambre est correcte avec une vue sur le fleuve et sur le casino. Le lit est confortable. L’inconvénient principal est l’ascenseur ! Aux « heures de pointe » nous avons dû patienter de longues minutes avant qu’un des 3 ascenseurs ne s’arrête à notre étage. J’ignore comment, mais il faudrait revoir le mécanisme. Mise à part ça, l’hôtel est bien situé. Nous n’avons qu’à marcher quelques minutes pour arriver à Queen Street. Avec un accès direct au casino, il est facile de s’y rendre, notamment au Sky deck avec ses bars et restaurants et une belle vue sur la ville.

Never going back and have travel most of Australia and parts of yet world. Hopefully they can get in order before the Olympics.

- Andrew (4/5): I admit I had high expectations... - As of May 2025, Queens Wharf Residences has only just opened. I had high expectations given the scale and premium nature of the development. Unfortunately its just another serviced apartment offering that has cut corners and as a result has a cheap feeling. Examples are a smallish low ceiling lobby, a double bed when I expected at least a queen or really a king, a tiny living room, no desk space to work, roller blinds that let in tons of light and door closers adjusted to make the doors slam super loud. Speaking of loud, the building site next door is noisy from 6am. I was woken one morning by an almighty bang so loud that initially had me thinking one of the cranes had crashed down. If the price is low then give it a try, but if they continue charging premium rates then look elsewhere.
