Guest Reviews
- Liberato (6/5): - Small space in bathroom and needs improvement
- jaime (4/5): - cluttered and very smelly room as an Asian kitchen would. TV remote control felt greasy, had to cover it with plastic bag. Room needs deep cleaning and plenty TLC
- Scott (10/5): - Good
- Chasity (10/5): - The rooms are originally from the 1950s with no modern updates but it was clean and safe and friendly staff.
- Emilie (6/5): Well…. - Check in was easy however when we got into the room there was a house centipede on the wall…the shower curtain was being held up by a rubber glove and piece of a cardboard box… The ac would blow cold air for 15 mins then shut off and wouldn’t turn back on unless you used the “fan” which did not blow cold air.
- Kenneth (6/5): - The price was very cheap.
I liked that.
The place was badly in need of maintenance, so I guess you get what you pay for. The bed was comfortable and clean, the heater/AC worked, the toilet worked, the mini-fridge worked, so I will not complain about comfort or utility. It was sufficient. But one of two sinks was out of order, one of two faucets did not work, bare lightbulbs with no lampshade, no chair to sit on, no desk or nightstand or furniture of that kind, no hangers in the door-less closet-- everything very basic and bare-bones, with unfinished cabinetry and damaged carpet very visible. A good bargain, to be sure, but not a pretty place to stay. The outside of the lodge looked nicer than the inside-- flowers and fresh paint-- those were a nice touch.
- Vincent (2/5): - Won't go back
- Leo (10/5): - Awesome
- Alexander (4/5): - Ok. So it’s cheap. The main thing is the air conditioner stopped working during the night. Room for stuff
- Spencer (2/5): - When we first got there they tried to put us in one room, but they couldn't get the door to open with any key card (they encoded and tried two), trying for about 10 minutes. They opened it with their key and asked if we were going out again (at 4:30 p.m.), intending to leave us in that room. We said yes, we have plans all evening so he finally put us in a different room. We had low expectations going in, but this Budget Motel didn't even meet those. The window in the bathroom was broken out with cardboard taped up there, there was at least a 1 inch gap between floor and door, no deadbolt, and no soap or toilet paper. Electrical cords were all hooked together, and ran from one corner of the room to the door. The sink had no stopper, there was leftover writing from some previous roomer on the tiny bathroom mirror as well as the broken window. There was some kind of ducting in the room that was rusty and broken at the bottom and coming apart from the upper piece. We had to go ask for toilet paper, and just went and bought we our own soap. We felt unsafe and it honestly looked like a nightmare motel. If you've seen Schitts Creek, that was us when we first arrived. I didn't use the bathroom there; we didn't use the bedding at all. Due to the gap in the door, we froze at about 530am. It was an awful experience, and lesson duly learned. You get what you pay for.
- Leo (10/5): - Owner was a very pleasant person no major issue
Gladly waived my Deposit was happy with that
Would book again on future dates
- sean (2/5): - Worst case scenario
- Kelsey (2/5): Dirty dirty dirty - Customer service was good, but the room was appalling. If it wasn’t so late when we arrive, we would have gone somewhere else. The comforter had brown large stains. The blanket had cigarette holes. Stains all over the headrest of the bed. The shower cold water wouldn’t work. We had to go to the front desk to get tools to turn on the water. Reminded me not to get a cheap hotel again.
- Alexandra (6/5): - Nice friendly owners
- Jennifer (8/5): - Was a good room for the price. Older rooms however you can tell they were kept clean even tho its older. Bed was amazing and comfortable
- Richard (4/5): - When we first got here property looks run down. Went in to get checked in and before finishing was asked to pay a $25 cash deposit that wasn’t mentioned when booking. Room has a funky odor, end tables dirty/stained. Large jacuzzi tub in room was told not to use it due to water leak. Holes in wall mold on ceiling in bathroom. Lamp shade old and falling apart. Not sure it was worth $60 for the night.
- Robert (6/5): - Older property, not bad for the price
- Jonathan (2/5): - I came back from my stay here with a flea infestation. Now my house and my moms house have fleas.
I understand this is a budget hotel but at the least wash the sheets, bed cover and vaccum the floors
- Aaron (10/5): - The staff upon Check-in were really nice, very understanding. They helped me find an A.T m for the deposit and there has been no issues at this hotel would definitely come back to this one when i'm back in the area
- Bertrand (4/5): - Management did a good job picking up the used needles and condoms before we got there.
- Brittania (2/5): - So bad. Very smelly.
- Reilly (2/5): - This hotel is in the Ghetto. This area does NOT look or feel safe. The hotel is covered in graffiti and plywood. The room itself was DISGUSTING. It stunk, had wires hanging out the sink was not secured to the wall, there were holes in walls, the blinds did not close and burn marks in dirty bedding. We got in so late we stayed for a short nap where we slept on top of bedding only and left. Didn’t wven try the shower because it looked like a petri dish. Do not stay here.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Room was dingey and stuffy, but fairly clean with a comfortable bed and a comfortable shower. Ants in the bathroom, no screen in either window so bugs could just come in, and the room smelled like cigarettes when we got there. Having access to DirecTV, a microwave and a mini fridge by default was nice, but I was never offered access to the guest wifi. AC was not very good at all. Service was fine during check-in, but checkout was terrible. The old man tried to send us off without addressing our cash deposit (they insisted on cash) and we had to ask for it directly, and it felt very much like he was just hoping we would've forgotten about it. After he checked our room, he came back out and accused us of stealing the washcloth and refused to check again to confirm it was in the shower where I had left it that morning. It was shocking and humiliating how rude he was and how convinced he was that we would steal a cheap, wet washcloth. We got our $25 back but he looked down his nose at us about — he fanned the twenty and the singles and extended that out to my partner completely silently in a way that felt like "take what you think you deserve," and it really felt like he was trying to shame us. Not sure if it was that we're both women, both visibly gay/trans, or don't have a car (look poor?) or what but it was bizarre and unpleasant and scummy. Would be a totally fine 3 stars with the prices being so low, but the checkout was so atrocious.
- Teresa (4/5): - Cheap places to sleep. The chair in the room was filthy. Used a bath towel to cover. It was gross. Window in bathroom broken, hole in center and packaging tape and cardboard.
- angela (4/5): - Burn holes in comforter walls nasty bathroom sink leaking window no screen horrible
- Miguel (4/5): - Dysmal motel for the price, but it's shelter from the elements, so there's that
- Paul (2/5): - Shower choices were scalding hot or freezing cold until you could turn the knobs to just the right degree to be tolerable. Oh, the knob on the cold was loose too so I had to get a screw driver and fix it myself. Spiders behind the fridge. Lamp was broken. Small TV far from the bed. My room had a hot tub and I guess they charge more if you use it but I couldn't really understand the guy when he was telling me about upon check in. But when I was leaving he asked if I used it and I said no, prompting him to say there was water in it. Well, the reason there was water in it is because I kept flipping switches trying to turn on a light source for the room but finding nothing but the hot tub jets.
Sleep in your car instead, at least it doesn't have spiders. I only paid 60 bucks but it should have been half the price. I've been to two OYO hotels and they were both terrible.
- Sheila (8/5): - The owner's really worked with me checking in early and gave me a room that was sufficient. Let me smoke outside. It was clean and had the four things I needed . Frig, microwave, TV and air conditioning
- Ender (10/5): - Area is normal. Right on a highway, but surprisingly not too loud or inconvenient. The room itself was below standard. The first impression was not good. I thought I had made a big mistake. There was an ugly, damaged hot tub right in the middle of the room. Bathroom was basic, no toiletries or any kind, not even soap or shampoo. Basic curtain. The whole thing made me think of what the house of a slob friend looks like. HOWEVER, staff was very friendly and helpful, and I added a day to my stay without any issues. Some of the the quickest transactions I’ve had. That’s why I give this place a perfect rating of five stars, because for the price I was very satisfied, and staff was courteous and present and that made a big difference.
- Daniel (4/5): - It's a very dated property ... not well cleaned with a bunch of old soaps on top of the shower. Paint pealing.
- DARNELL (2/5): - This property should not be allowed to be listed bugs was crawling in the bed cellins had black spots on the wall and i had two beds in the room but they only wanted me to use one bed
- Ken (6/5): - Don’t like being told must pay 50$ cash for deposit. Old motel . Not very well fixed u
For 90$ per nite not even a coffee make many other choices in the area less expensive
Won’t return to this motel
- walter (8/5): - Not hot water bery poor.
- Richard (2/5): - Black mold in bathroom, broken shower curtain, dusty, glass slivers on bed
- James (10/5): - Amazing
- Jose (2/5): - The room looked very old and dirty
- Ralph (10/5): - Great place to stay, would highly recommend it. The lady that helped me was top notch!
- James (10/5): - AWSOME
- James (10/5): - Best service I've ever had. I love it there. I'm going to stay there every time. I'm in Portland which is everyday
