Guest Reviews
- John (8/5): - Good choice for a clean budget friendly place to stay overnight. Older property but clean and well maintained. Room was missing pillows though.
- Catharine (8/5): - On our way to Yellowstone - quick overnight stay - perfect for our needs. We paid total price of $90 - room had microwave, fridge, clean smell, two beds, clean towels. Our poodles were happy with nearby grass patches (there’s also a dog park 5 minutes away). There’s some missing moulding in the bathroom behind the door and other signs this is an older property that has been under renovation. No staff was no problem for us. It was great for our short night and I would be happy to stay at Mac’s Motel again.
- derrick (10/5): - Very small Queen place great price.Walking distance to all the things you need to do and shops in heber utah. I'm staying there again very affordable
- Brigitta (10/5): - It was noisy when couple individuals arguing front of the rooms between 2-3 am. But generally we spend a good time.
- Fairuz (10/5): - The motel was good and clean, and felt safe. The contactless check in was easy as well.
- David (6/5): - Pro: Inexpensive compared to other options. Clean. Hot shower and thick towels.
Con: Right on busy main drag, plenty of road noise. Local police rolled in to talk to what seemed to be long-term residents.
Unusual: No staff on site, but phone/text checkin worked fine - no issue.
- Cory (6/5): Don’t stay here - No human interaction and there was a weird popping noise that kept us up at night. The road noise was so loud we couldn’t sleep. There is no room service if you stay for multiple days. Would not stay there again. We travel to Heber City at least 6 times a year and will choose to stay somewhere else.
- Mikkel (8/5): - It was decent
- Michael (8/5): - Nothing fancy. Relatively comfy bed although pillows are very flat.
Can tell they are making an effort to update rooms but still work to be done.
- Joan (6/5): Sketchy ran remotely - Room was ok. Clean, beds on metal fold away frames, mattresses were very thin, pillows even worse. I have arthritis in all my joints and hardly got the shower on. Wash clothes were dirty looking with cleaning rags wrote on them. But the kicker was when we arrived no one was in office, had to text a number to get a code and room number!!!! It never mentioned on hotel.com it was ran remotely, no sign lights on the road, pulled up it looked sketchy, grills, wheel chairs in front of some of the rooms, no parking lights. We were traveling, so I did not look at my email, that stated ran remotely after I reserved and paid for the room was not worth $88!!!!! My cots I slept on for 4 days camping in Yellowstone was more comfortable
- MaryAnn (4/5): - Checking in was super easy, we got a text message with the code for the room. Other than that it was not a good experience. The room was dirty, stains on the sheets, the microwave and fridge had obviously not been cleaned in a while. Hairs here and there around the room. There was no soap and we never saw anyone in the lobby to help us, it was closed and dark the whole time. There were also tenants outside most the night that were noisy. Would not recommend this property.
- Adam (8/5): - No staff. Read reviews thought it was going to be bad. But it's just contactless. Had my door code in 5 min. Room was clean, bed soft, water was hot. Did exactly what I needed it to do. Definitely better than I thought it was going to be. No it wasn't a t star hotel but for a cheap for the night hotel it did great. I would stay here again .
- Kenner (10/5): - Great and very convenient but you definitely know it was an older motel which I loved
- Juanita (10/5): - I travel for work alot. Found a place that is quiet and cozy. Its been a pleasure. Thank you.
- Valynn (8/5): - This is an old property with few updates but clean with a soft bed. Checking in was unique but simple once I made contact with the manager.
- Amy (2/5): - The sheets were disgusting not cleaned actually had drool marks and hair on the sheets.
- Abel (10/5): - Great cozy little place for a great price
- Tessia (2/5): - If you like sleeping on a box spring and hear your neighbors conversation this is the place for you. There is nothing fancy about this place. I'd be embarrassed if I owned this place and let my dog stay here. The owner, on the other hand was very nice and friendly and even let me check in as early as I needed to.
- Robert (4/5): - The mattresses are so uncomfortable; you really feel the springs under you! There is not a single thrash can inside the room and there was no soap.
- Brandon (2/5): - I ended up not staying because the room smelled like cigarette smoke. I got in the room and after 20 minutes i called the manager a.d
