- Anne (10/5): - Beautiful property with supremely competent and accommodating staff, charming room with excellent amenities.Fabulous stay for an unbelievable price-- definitely want to come back again! Above and beyond the standard chain experience for less than any of their offerings, perfect location for our needs: nothing compares :) Thanks for a great time!
- Chantal (10/5): Perfect couples retreat - It was perfect for our short week-end getaway. Clean room, very chic and quiet environment with a B&B feel but with hotel privacy.
Complementary breakfast was a surprise and they deliver directly to you room at your selected time.
Close walking distance from subway / Queen St. street car.
Highly recommend
- Robert (10/5): Luxury, but affordable - This place was amazing! I couldn't believe it cam up as an opportunity. It is in a great location downtown and the price was low compared to most hotels. Such a small place, but our room was big. I really felt like I was at a private club. I felt like we were staying in an art gallery. The staff were terrific and the continental breakfast delivered to the room was great. Parking was just across the street and only $25.
- Rob (8/5): - Nice accommodation. We had no hot water on 2 occasions.
- Solviet (10/5): - Great location, friendly staff.
- David (10/5): - Parking is a little tricky
- Margot (10/5): - I LOVED this gem! I don't know what the couple of bad reviews are about. The room was excellent, and the staff was wonderful. Will definitely stay here again. Parking is behind the building and public parking, and although that was not convenient, it was fine. Glad we picked this hotel.
- Louella (8/5): Not what I expected. - Walking into the hotel was such a let down. The lights were down, the lobby looked dark and dingy. There was obviously no one else staying at the hotel. Must be their low season? The room was fine but most of the windows were covered with opaque film. The one window we could look out of had a brick wall halfway up it. We peeked into the two empty rooms beside us and they were so much better! With guest counts at almost zero why couldn’t they have given us the better room? I booked this room because it seemed different from regular hotels but sadly different didn’t pan out. I don’t think I’ll be staying here again
- Songpei (10/5): - Clean, friendly service, elegant interior decoration
- Vibeke (4/5): - My impression was that maybe it came under new ownership in recent years and they lack hospitality expertise and have let the place go. The pillows were flat and worn out, the outdoor security lights came on at dark and lit up my room through the blinds, the windows were dirty, the carpet had stains, the duvet had no cover on it. Also, there was zero verbal orientation upon check-in, so it wasn't very welcoming.. Lastly, it didn't feel right that they charged my card the full amount as soon as I checked in for a three night stay. I thought it was improper. The desk agents were friendly and moved me on the second night because of the high powered LED lights, but the second room had heat pump compressors outside that hummed all of the time.Sorry
- Susan (10/5): - I stayed one night. Very comfortable, clean room. Front desk staff were terrific. I didn't utilize any of the facilities.
- Alisa (10/5): - The superb service by staff! Example setting!
- Patricia (10/5): - My stay was perfect! I loved the thoughtful attention of the staff, the room amenities and the beautiful common areas. It's an amazing place to stay in the heart of downtown Toronto.
- Antonia (10/5): - Very good stay. Staff was very accommodating. Excellent dinner at the restaurant.
It is a club and accommodation is in the club’s bedroom suites on the third floor. Very comfortable stay and convenient - short Uber ride to convention center.
The Aesop toiletries elevated the experience.
Special shoutout to Claude - genuine appreciation for his entrepreneurial and engaging approach!
