- Gregory (2/5): - I thought Best Western Plus hotels are updated; this hotel was not only showing wear, including wallpaper pulling away from wall, stains in the carpet in hallways and in my room, and outside area was very worn and neglected. I was not impressed.
- Erin (6/5): Older hotel but comfortable and excellent service - The area is pretty run down and the hotel is older, but the service was excellent, both at check-in and at breakfast. Our room was large and comfortable but again a bit dated.

- Heather (8/5): Good family friendly hotel - The room was quiet and clean. The mattresses and pillows were great. My daughter didn't like the bedding on the bed. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Breakfast was okay, but not great.

Had to almost force the room door shut, there's reddish discoloration on the wall by the shower from being constantly wet, the lino in the bathroom is peeling up from where it meets the shower, toilet wouldn't compelling flush until the last day i was there, wifi was kind of hit or miss. Second time i stayed there and it looks like they're mid renovation on it. Based on their crew alone I'd stay there again. Upper end of the hotel breakfast spectrum.

Checked in and booked 3 rooms through expedia and I did not know they would be undr different reservation s do to one booking. But they were and she was very rude. Also the 2nd day everyones keys in our party stopped working and we had to go to the front desk for rest.

The bathroom is really small. Room 123. Also it would be nice if they put a tv guide in the room so you don’t have to scroll through the channels to see what is on.

- Rita (2/5): Don't encounter a snowstorm - Our experience was nothing but nice. We made reservation on January 2, 2017 at 5:00 PM for January 3, 2017. Watching the evening news we realized that a huge snowstorm is in our path en route to Salt Lake City. I immediately called the hotel at 9:00 PM to cancel our reservation for the 3rd. The clerk on duty was not able to help me and informed me to call back in the morning when the manager is on duty. I did call the first thing in the morning to cancel my reservation. I was aware of a 24 hour cancellation policy. She was anything but helpful and would not budge from the policy not even in the event of the huge snowstorm. I ask if they would refund 50% since we need a hotel for the next day. Needless to say, we did not stay there the next day when the storm had passed and we were able to travel. Better safe and dead.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Would not repeat! - Although a good location room was not clean! Trash from previous guest still in trash bin, carpet dirty, toilet not fixed tightly to floor. When they "cleaned" room they only appeared to make bed. No towels were replenished, trash wasn't emptied and bed coverlet left in pile on floor. Not enough food - Many guests were coming in for breakfast but they ran out of food way too early. They had no milk for cereal, a guest had to go to store to purchase more for their children, employees were not going to do anything.

- Friend of Bill (8/5): Nice and comfortable Hotel in La Grande - I stayed at Best Western while attending a weekend event in La Grande. It was very convenient and close to everything, Walgreens, Fred Meyers, Denny's, fast foods, Dutch Bros., Pizza, freeway. Room was comfortable and had a free breakfast with more than hard boiled eggs and yogurt. Had really good cheese omelette and sausage, waffles, scrambled eggs and bacon, etc. Bed was pretty comfy but a little worn in....it was quiet and always had parking close to entrance for those late returns. A little spendy but I had AARP discount which helped. I would stay there again if ever in La Grande.
- Rachel (8/5): Price a little high, but very nice - We choose to spend a little more because the reviews at other hotels in LaGrande kind of scared us a little. When we arrived, we found it was almost in the same parking lot as Comfort Inn and a couple others (Sandman and I can't remember the other). I asked Comfort to show me a room just for comparison, and I think we would have been fine staying there given the price difference. Anyway, the room was quite nice, the breakfast was good with a decent selection of eggs, sausage, yogurt, fruit and all the usual carb choices. They had good hot chocolate which I appreciated since we don't drink coffee. The indoor pool was exceptionally nice, literally the perfect temperature. The have an onsite laundry which was appreciated so we didn't have to take our wet swimming stuff in the car. I am usually very uncomfortable in hotel beds, but these were better than average I would say. At least I didn't wake up with aching hips! Overall good, just on the high end of the price range for the area. This was our first time staying in BW Plus, I will do it again in the future.
- karolpdx (8/5): comfort in the desert - Exceptable facilities in Eastern Oregon. Nice to come to this hotel after the long drive. The breakfast was ok. I am gluten free so I could eat the eggs and juice. Sausage was also available as well as the many cold selections, waffles, and coffee. The temperature unit was easy to use. I turned off as I don;t care for AC. I had a refrigerator and micro wave, a big plus. My room was very quiet after I requested an initial move to a new room due to activity next door. I had trouble with the TV which probably needs to be replaced. Strange pixels appeared and lost sound occasionally,room 235.
- Verified traveler (8/5): A comfortable and friendly hotel - We spent one night in La Grande on our way home to Seattle. We had a King size bed that was very comfortable and the flat screen TV was terrific. The room was clean and the heat/AC relatively quiet. I would be happy to stay there again.

- AJ (8/5): Nice hotel - Very nice stay. We were only there over night but was great and would be nice for more than one night. The only problem is there is no elevator so if you have a lot of luggage then that's a problem or a good workout.

- Frequent travel (4/5): Not worth the rate I paid for - The room was okay, the facility does not live up to it's billing as a Best Western Plus Inn. For the money I paid for, I could have stayed in a nice room with a King Size bed in a three star hotel in Boise or probably Wildhorse. Expedia also charged me more than I was expecting which made it worse. The only good thing about it is it's location close to the freeway.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet. The large screen tv was a bonus! Our room was so clean that we tipped the maid. The price was very reasonable for the location and included a nice sized refrigerator and microwave oven. We will definitely stay at this hotel in the future!

My daughter sure enjoyed the pool as well. It was a nice, clean place with good people - can't beat that!
- Laura (8/5): Worth the hunt. - This hotel is easy to see from the freeway...and very hard to locate once you're off the freeway! And, I have yet to understand why anybody would build a 2 story motel with no elevator! That being said, the staff was friendly, the room was very nice, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast room was nicely provisioned with plenty of tables for all the people taking advantage of this very nice convenience! All in all, a nice last night after nearly 2 weeks on the road.

Was grossed out when another person staying at the hotel was picking dead skin off of her heels and throwing it into the hot tub. Pool could have been a bit warmer as well. Room was great, clean and safe although.

- Vacationer (4/5): Plain and not convenient - We were looking for the best overnight in LaGrande to be able to enjoy the recreation in the Blues the next day. I hope this wasn't the best. Second floor without an elevator, surly and overworked front desk, although the cleaning staff was a bright spot. Very plain room with not comfortable bed. Location right by the freeway but still hard to find, sort of negates value of easy on and off the road. We'll try someplace else next time.
- Verified traveler (4/5): not very many choices in LaGrande...just ok - NOt too much of a choice in LaGrande, OR, so it was OK, but if there was a Hampton Inn, I would have rather stayed there. Nothing too exciting...a place to sleep, but beds sagged, room/hotel needs updating.
- Carol (8/5): It Was A Dark and Rainy Night... - The only negative was that there was no signing from the ramp off the interstate to the hotel. Even though I could see the hotel sign from the freeway before I exited, it was located in a maze of small roads and driveways, semi-mall-like. I arrived about 11:45PM. It was dark and rainy. At one point I accidentally reentered the freeway and had to go on for 2 miles before I could get off. It took me 45 minutes from the time I arrived in La Grande to find a motel that was about 5 blocks from the exit ramp!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent - We stayed for two days and found the personnel to be very helpful guiding us around the area. They were polite and very congenial . It was clean, conveniently located, and had a great breakfast.
- Kaylene (6/5): OK - The room was fine, but nothing spectacular, especially for price. The exercise room was crazy small and really warm. Pool was nice. Breakfast - better to walk to Wendys or McDonalds - food not restocked and not very good anyway. I could handle all that but the worst part was the staff. They were either rude or totally disregarded you. That was very disappointing to go with questions and they could not be bothered to help you.
