Guest Reviews
- Paul (6/5): - Room was clean. Pet friendly. Breakfast was very continental. One loaf of white bread! 😩
- Frans (10/5): - Very welcoming staff. Great room for the price. Pet friendly. Will definitely recommend to others.
- Beverly (10/5): - If you’re staying in this TINY little town, I’d absolutely say this is the place to stay.
Check in was easy, the guy at the desk was very friendly and kind, the unit was very clean and comfortable. We had what we needed to make some food in the kitchenette (which you’ll be thankful for as there is NOWHERE to eat ((after October 8th, anyway) but stop at ya grocery store before getting to Vermillion Bay - because there isn’t one there).
My only suggestion for the owners would be to up their “continental breakfast” as it was severely lacking (read: white wonderbread and fruit loops)
It was a lovely quiet spot to stop and rest for the night.
- Terry & Bob (2/5): - No restaurants. Train across road and road busy with truckers all night.Room so hot but to
- Brian (6/5): - Pretty basic hotel. An older property but generally well cared for and clean. Rooms are minimally equipped…one garbage can, 2 plastic cups, 2 thin bath towels, no Kleenex, etc. Will not likely stay here again.
- Hans (8/5): - The room is clean and the water is hot. Good stop for a road trip.
- Ronald (10/5): - Everything was good!!
- Mamoun (10/5): - Great stay
- Jeff (6/5): - It was clean.
- Robert (4/5): - Not many other choices
Check in person was unfriendly.
No coffee maker, no restaurants nearby,
A lot of road noise during the night.
Won’t go back
- David (10/5): - Power outage from about 1 am to 9 am, yet they still provided hot coffee in the morning.
- Lina (10/5): - Coffee needs to he stronger. But all good
- Brian (10/5): - friendly service, comfortable bed
- Cathy (6/5): - the property certainly needs some major renovations.
- Jody (10/5): - The owners were very nice and at 11pm came to the door to give us the key for our room for the night. Very nice family run business!!
- Rosanne (8/5): - Right off the hwy.
- Georg (8/5): - We got. All we needed
- Kathy (8/5): - Staff friendly! Room clean!
- Sherrilee (10/5): - Pet friendly and staff were great
- LINDA (8/5): Stay was good - The stay was good. When I arrived I had to phone a number as office was locked. It was around 330pm. We went into the town to buy some supplies. Spent the rest of the afternoon and evening in the room.
- Pam (10/5): - Better then expected, clean quiet comfortable beds, well supplied kitchenette. Unfortunately only restaurant was closed for private event, not the fault of the motel. Absolutely would stay there again
- KUI BIU ROBIN (10/5): - It is a decent stay overnight. The host couple are very nice.
- David (6/5): - Good TV with Roku
- Matthew (8/5): - Just fine for a quick overnight stop. The staff were great!
- Tetyana (10/5): - Very great
- leo (10/5): - Nice and quiet
- Bryan (10/5): - Very comfortable, clean and friendly!!
- James (10/5): - The comfiest bed ive slept in my whole trip. The room was nice they had a smart tv.
- Terry (8/5): - Good price, clean, friendly staff.
- Peter (10/5): - Don’t expect the Ritz, or contemporary amenities or design. The motel might look like nothing much, but it is actually a very comfortable place to spend a night. It is clean, the shower is nice, the bed is very comfortable. There is a fridge and microwave…all you need.
Would definitely recommend!
- Carole (10/5): Crops Country ride - It was everything we needed for a cross country trip. Quick layover stop to sleep and get back on the road.
- Kenneth (10/5): - It was a clean and comfortable stop along our trip from BC to Ontario.
- Mariette (10/5): - Hello. I liked this motel. Was surprised how clean it was and how easy it was to Access from the highway.
The staff was super friendly and easy to deal with even despite that we came later in the evening.
/ Mariette and Myla with puppies ❤️
- Robert (8/5): - Cross-Canada journey. Convenient, cheap and accessible
- Christopher (4/5): Nope! Keep going if you can - Would definitely skip this place next time. Buddy was pissed off I interrupted his movie to check me in to the room. He said $114 for the night was a super deal on Hotels.com, that's too much for this place on a good day. Paper thin walls on both sides of the room, clearly hear the TVs and people talking next door. No locks on the inside of the room to lock the door from the outside. Just not a comfortable spot IMO.
- Kevin (6/5): - Traveling across Canada and this was my stop for the night.
Basic motel in what is a beautiful area....in the summer. In the middle of winter, just a stopover on a long journey.
- Edward (10/5): - Was a great stop over
- Jamie (10/5): - Awesome place Highly recommended
- Linda (6/5): - Clean. Easy to access. Friendly staff.
