Guest Reviews
- stevgro (10/5): Small but sweet - Excellent location. Rooms small but well equipped and comfortable. Also very quiet.
Massive choice of restaurants on Brick Lane.
- H3110KZlaurenh (10/5): Excellent 10/10 - Excellent hotel in central London.
Clean and comfortable
Excellent staff
We had an issue with our room allocation, this was quickly sorted and offered complimentary breakfast , which was extremely kind.
Would 100% recommend this hotel and will return
- smedleyswife (10/5): We will stay here again - The location is superb, a stones throw from Oxford Street. There’s a brilliant street food market outside which has a massive variety of choice and there are an abundance of restaurants and bars in the immediate area. We had a room on the second floor. The room was a great size, it was an accessible room and extremely well equipped.
Check in was seamless and we were early so we dropped our bags returning later in the evening. Staff are very helpful and friendly,
Our room was brilliant, everything is controlled from the headboard (blinds, lights, aircon etc.). The bedding and towels were immaculate and the bed was extremely comfortable and massive!
There is a sizeable bar restaurant on site, we didn’t have the continental breakfast which was available opting for a bagel at one of the nearby bakeries,
Would definitely recommend
- DollyBirdScotland (10/5): Cosy - Hadn't used this Hub before but I'm so glad we did. Immaculate, comfortable, cosy, lovely lounge to relax in, and lovely staff - just a generally great place to use. Excellent location for bars and restaurants by Brick Lane. Has become our first choice.
- mrconradb (10/5): Wonderful weekend stay - Great hotel, compact rooms but comfortable and with everything you need for a short stay. There’s no kettle in the room but tea and coffee is available all day in the lobby which you can take back to your room if you wish.
The breakfast offers superb value and the staff here are fabulous!
- Y8640PPmarial (10/5): Great location, great price, great service - The personal attention was impeccable and resolutive. We booked a King size bed and it really was a King size bed!! The room was small but had everything we needed.
The underground stop is 8 min away and the neighborhood has many “until late” restaurants. Great location, great price.
We kinda miss a security box and a mini fridge but that is our only drawback.
- MrAliDee (10/5): Excellent value in great location and extremely friendly and helpful staff. - Located on Brick Lane in heart of vibrant area and 5 minutes walk from Spitalfields Market. Easy access to subway and ca. 30 minute walk to Tower Bridge. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Free tea and coffee available all the time and breakfast was excellent value at £6 for continental buffet and even more so as there was complementary hot options the weekend we were there. Room was small but had good storage, very comfortable bed and was very clean. Would absolutely recommend and would definitely good back.
- adrianwU6516AC (10/5): Very good - Yes it's a bit pricey even for London but I always find this accomodation welcoming and with a nice feel. It is convenient within walking distance of 3 tube stations and in the heart of Brick Lane which I love.
Loads of places to eat and hotel breakfast is not too expensive and nice atmosphere.
Rooms comfy, nicely aired and fabulous duvets.
- victoriapX3635MH (10/5): Weekend stay in London - Great hotel and fabulous service from the team. The added bonus was having a cooked breakfast which we weren't expecting. Brick Lane is a vibrant and interesting area of London and we will definitely return.
- torilleliser (6/5): Perfect location - Perfect location in the middle of Soho. Close to everything you want, shopping and restaurants. The hotel looks a bit worn and could use a renovation. The room was small, which I knew. There is nowhere to put things. No chair or desk. The windows facing the street are frosted for some reason. The carpet on the floor was dirty. The temperature in the room adjusted itself. The TV turned off every 10 minutes. The bathroom was worn and dirty. Clean towels and good bed/bedding. There was no mobile reception in the hotel. If I was lucky I got EDGE. All in all, a simple hotel for those who do not have such high standards.
- M4254ATdebraw (2/5): Unpleasant - Staff dismissive and rude, asked for a towel as only one in room was told they were short staffed and we would have one as soon as they had time, 11 hours later a towel arrived whilst my husband and I were in bed sleeping at 23 30pm
Breakfast was sparce, watery scrambled egg, cold bacon, burnt sausage, cold watery beans, toaster wasn't working, there was no mushrooms, hash browns, tomatoes, fried eggs, when I asked I was looked upon as being fussy and needy, there was also no milk in the coffee machine, I was told they would refill it when they had time as they were shorted staffed, there was no cereal available, no pastries, poor choice poor management ignorant staff.
- Quest786680 (4/5): The worst room I’ve stayed in - Not the cleanest of hubs with lots not working in the room and bathroom.
Staff were very friendly and helpful though and the breakfast was nice.
- alanhU8364FS (10/5): Weekend stay - Awesome staff great location and clean modern facilities an incredibly great weekend stay at the Brick Lane Hub will 100% use this location again
- TTT1_19 (10/5): Excellent Location - Great location on a quiet back street in SoHo. A few minutes walk to The Palladium. Fantastic pizza shop round the corner.
Staff were polite and let us store our bags prior to check in.
Room was probably the biggest that we’ve stayed in in the city. Clean and beds were comfortable.
Would definitely recommend for a short stay.
- Sailwineski (6/5): Great staff, crumbling hotel - Very friendly staff who tried to help all they could
Good service at the bar
Good breakfast
Mattress terrible
Hotel crumbling and in need of repair - v worn on many places
Would not stay again for the money - stayed in a hilton the night before which was far better for the same price
- sararD947NZ (10/5): Affordable and functional - The hotel is easily reachable and is located just a few minutes' walk from the metro. The quality-price ratio is excellent, the rooms are small but very functional. The cleanliness of the premises is very good and the staff is always courteous and available. The breakfast at 6£ is highly recommended.
- matthewaT9979XX (4/5): As above - black mould and poor food. - Disappointed; good location but black mould in shower (room 223) and cooked breakfast comprised of bacon, sausage, beans and scrambled egg only - no hash brown, tomato, mushroom or black pudding (as led to believe it would from photo).
- Genty64 (10/5): Great place to stay in London - Great place to stay and excellent value for money.
Staff were very helpful and friendly
Room was really nice and clean
Would stay again if in the area
- 461leob (10/5): Excellent experience - Excellent welcoming, very polite and helpful staff, very clean and bar with very accessible prices comparing to other bars in Soho.
- N9299XQsimonw (10/5): Good hotel for solo travels - Very good value hub hotel in Spittlefields, well placed for Est London but easy access to Central via Elizabeth Line tube from Liverpool Street Station. Very clean hotel, comfy beds, rooms are small but costs are also. Friendly and helpful staff.
- 775jennyy (10/5): Premier inn hub Spitalfields lovely staff, room, location, clean, welcoming - Fantastic location, amazing staff, spotlessly clean, lovely breakfast, would definitely stay here again, the staff couldn’t do enough to help
- U8004ANmelanies (10/5): More bang for your buck - We had a great stay at the hub premier inn in London. The room was small but very inviting. We absolutely loved ‘the pod’ feel of the room. Everything we needed was there and it was such a cosy room and we relaxed so much in it.
The staff were extremely welcoming and efficient. It was our birthday trip to London and the staff/hub team gave us a lovely gift of chocolates and wine as a birthday treat.
The continental breakfast was more than enough and over all it was such a pleasant stay.
If we ever go to London again we would book in here again to relive this lovely hotel. Would more than recommend to anyone.
- farthingate (10/5): Brilliant location for theatres - You know what you get with a Premier Inn Hub. Small rooms with brilliant storage, good shower and generally clean and modern.
This was our first stay at the Soho hotel. We loved the location- close to West End theatres, Ronnie Scott's and China town.
The staff were friendly and helpful- extra pillows arrived quickly when requested. We had a room on the 2nd floor with a window with no frosted glass which was a bonus.
We didn't have chance to use the bar area but it looked very welcoming.
Very happy with our stay and I am sure we will be back.
- stevefrommadrid (4/5): Rooms have frosted glass in the windows making them windowless - Windows have been replaced with frosted glass making the rooms windowless. This was the third or forth time I've stayed at this hotel but I shall not be returning. Having no window made the room feel claustrophobic, you can't even see what the weather is like. There were other minor defects as well peeling wallpaper and peeling paint on the ceiling. I'm giving two stars for the location.
- paulg14 (10/5): Smart, Simple, and Surprisingly Stylish – A Great Base in Shoreditch - I stayed at hub by Premier Inn London Shoreditch this week and came away genuinely impressed. It’s not your traditional hotel experience, more pared-back, purposeful, and perfect if you want to get your head down and get on with your trip.
Rooms are compact but incredibly well-thought-out. The clever use of space, modern finishes, and innovative tech (including mood lighting and under-bed storage) make it feel contemporary and comfortable. Ideal for solo travellers or couples who don’t need fluff —just function.
The location is spot on. You’re steps away from Shoreditch’s best cafes, bars, and transport links, but the hotel itself remains quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. Check-in was smooth, the team was friendly, and everything was spotless.
If you're after a sleek, affordable base in East London without compromising on quality, hub Shoreditch delivers. I’d stay again.
- I6995ZUchristineg (10/5): Great location - Fantastic location and good value for money. Room was well appointed and clean. Stayed in a larger/premium room (super king-size bed) with window but had read that not all rooms have windows (got lucky, as can't pre-book this). Only negative is no tea & coffee making facilities in room but tea/coffee available in bar area. I'll definitely stay here again.
- CarlM64 (10/5): A Little Gem , in Shoreditch. - A great hotel and a great location for me. Stayed a couple of times and will stay again. Easy check in , friendly staff , comfy bed and reasonable price.
Plenty to choose from at Breakfast too !
- K4051WVmicheleo (4/5): Not worth it - When we arrived, the attendant didn't even greet us.
We found hair and a contact lens that wasn't ours on the bathroom floor.
The bathroom lights are controlled by the room lights, so if you need to use the bathroom at night, you either stay in the dark or wake up those who are sleeping.
For the cost, it's not worth it.
- fraconte3 (10/5): wonderful stay - Beautiful room , very big. Free coffee water and tea. Wonderful location. Full of cafe restaurant. The Best neighbourhood
- JudyF1447 (10/5): Excellent! Will return! - Stayed here for 3 nights over a weekend with a group of friends. Most of us were in the smaller rooms which were modern & well appointed & well planned storage wise..Lighting was good & the room (mine was 1st floor) was quiet. Breakfast which we paid for was excellent value: English and / or continental. Hot drinks & water available 24/7. Staff were really helpful & friendly. Once breakfast was over, the area became a comfortable seated area (useful for groups), and a bar too.
- 214stellam (10/5): Fabulous 😍 - Fantastic stay, great location, spotless hotel, friendly staff , also played really good music in the lobby ....our room was cosy, on the second floor overlooking railway station.. perfect....
- _pjwater65 (10/5): High quality for a budget price - This is a clean, comfortable and very conveniently located hotel which is great value for what you get. The rooms are smaller but really well designed. Although no kettle in the rooms, there is tea/coffee available for free 24/7 in the restaurant which you can take back to your room if you want to. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Someone was always available to talk to. Anything extra you needed you just asked for. The breakfast was of a high standard and really good value. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting quality on a budget.
- G4021IJjimm (10/5): A superb budget hotel in the East End. - This is our go to hotel in London. Richard and the team are amazing and super friendly. The breakfast is fantastic value and the location is great for exploring the East End and Liverpool St Station is very close for the tube.
- travellinghenrik2025 (4/5): Dangerous basement room with no windows and inadequate fire escape - Many rooms in this hotel have no windows. If you are unlucky enough to be given a room in the basement, locate the nearest fire exit and sleep with one eye open.
- amylovesnature (10/5): Clean, comfortable and relaxing - Excellent hotel! Perfect location, quiet, clean and comfortable bedroom. Beg storage, relaxed atmosphere and really helpful staff. Highly recommended
- elaines446 (10/5): Perfectly located with helpful team - My second time here. I had previously been with my work. Rooms better sized than similar priced Hotels nearby. Location brilliant. Added advantage of being near everything in Soho but on a quieter street. Central but not too noisy. Bar was handy for a relaxing drink after dinner / before bedtime. We will return.
- brianmT9870HH (10/5): My go to hotel in London. - Always my first choice when visiting London.
Virtually next door to Shoreditch station and loads of handy bus routes nearby make this easy to get to.
Hub gives exactly what is advertised but I do recommend a bigger room if possible.
Spotless and good shower too.
Excellent staff make this a winner.
Dozens of good food and drink options nearby.
Highly recommended.
- nickeD6711HU (10/5): Lovely staff! - Maxlow, Purnima & Georgina were amazing with me. I missed brekkie and Purima sorted me out in the kitchen, going well out of her way. They also let me have a late check out as I was being a bit of a chaotic mess.
I've stayed here 3 times now when I come down to London for work and the staff are always so great. Thanks guys!
- antoniag890 (10/5): Excellent accommodation and staff and good breakfast - Excellent room, with very friendly and helpful staff, tea / coffee free on tap at all times, lovely breakfast / lounge area and good hot cooked breakfast.
- lindabennison63 (8/5): was good base - spotless compact rooms suitable single person or couple but not 2 friends as would have had to climb over each other staff very helpfully moved us to a twin which you were meant to request before check in by it we didn't know, brekkie good price and value money
- KatieDeloyde (6/5): Disappointing - We have stayed here before, and it is in an absolutely great location. The rooms are really tiny, but clean.
But this time we had huge issues with our keys! In our group we had a total of six rooms booked, and every single person had to go back down to reception at least twice a day to get their key fixed. It was absolutely ridiculous. The hotel obviously had an issue with their electronic key systems, but the staff Were not knowledgeable enough to do anything about it.
Every time we went to reception, there were huge queues with people whose keys didn’t work.
They really need to get this sorted out as it was ridiculous.
- annettemK9127TY (10/5): Comfortable and friendly - Great stay, the staff were amazing, very helpful & friendly. Our room was small & had a double bed, sharing with a friend so was too cosy. The staff changed the room for us and it was spacious with 2 single beds. The hotel staff were very pleasant, and one lovely lady even noticed I had my hands full & followed me to the lift to help me open the doors. Overall a very comfortable stay, handy for the tube. Shane we didn't have longer to explore the nearby shops.
- dawnwI3374RA (10/5): Great weekend stay - 2nd stay here. Great location. Room was clean and more than adequate for our stay. Breakfast is well worth the £8. After a small issue with the breakfast reservation a big shout out to the manager David who dealt with the problem with professionalism and care. Thank you we will definitely stay here again
- andreafB3686MI (10/5): Super hotel - Super hotel! Clean (small) rooms, friendly staff, good beakfast, in a nice quarter, near to Untergrund and busses and many restaurants.
- ChinUp3107 (8/5): Much more than a basic experience - Despite Brick Lane being an exceptionally busy place the hotel provided a quiet and relaxing environment. I was very impressed with the layout of the rooms which maximised the reduction in room size compared to a usual premier inn
My television did not work so I was moved to another room without any fuss. Whilst the television in the new room worked a minor irritation was that the HDMI slot was not recognised by the television so I was not able to use my fire stick.
Breakfast was ok though the coffee machine being out of order and therefore having to order a coffee reduced my intake!
Copious amount of pastries was just what I needed.
I will certainly think about a return stay when in the capital again.
- Jowebbyjones (10/5): Does what it says on the tin. - This place is a simple, no fuss, no frills affordable stay in a popular area of London. Don't expect any glitz, it's basic but meets the needs of someone looking for a clean, well located space in the heart of spitlefields. Great value, really helpful staff, clean simple room that just delivers what is says on the tin.
- stellabZ3215DD (10/5): 10 out of 10 - Fantastic modern room with great facilities. Friendly obligible staff and great varied breakfast. Highly recommend.
- Traveller9986 (4/5): Needs a deep clean and maintenance - I stayed for one night and was quite unhappy with my stay. The room size was fine for a capsule hotel but the quality for the price (almost 300 eur!) was really lacking. My room was not clean with many stains on the carpet, dirty walls and glass in the bathroom, a hair on the bed, and the duvet was quite stained inside the poorly fitted sheet. There were also many marks on the walls and what looked like poor repainting over damp at the aircon. There were bugs in the shower and room as well. The towels provided smelled very musty and damp though appeared clean.
I was disappointed to find only a shampoo + shower gel combo provided in the shower and the hair dryer was a very old trigger activated one that didn't work well.
I also didn't feel the room was particularly secure with no dead bolt and wouldn't stay here again as a solo traveller.
I didn't try the food service in the hotel so no comment there.
- Sonbougirl (10/5): Meeting up with family - I stayed here as I was meeting up with my son and daughter in law and other family members. I found the Premier inn hub to be just what we needed, breakfast was good, room comfortable, had a good sleep and no problems. If needed I would stay here again.
- N2369PMcatherinem (6/5): Handy location; some things could be improved. - We have stayed in this hotel many times, and love the location close to Spitalfields and Liverpool Street. On this occasion, we noticed that some areas of the hotel need a bit of light refurbishment - nothing too major, but things like carpet stains, paintwork chipped, leaking shower etc. Just some routine upkeep things which could be improved.
The breakfast offering could also be improved, as it was disappointing on this occasion.
We will however continue to stay here in the future due to the location.
- gary (6/5): - STAFF WAS GREAT. THEY DID EVERYTHING YOU CXOULD ASK FOR. Problem is that as far as I could tell there were only 3 people who worked there.
Evertthing was ring a bell and wait.
Forst time in 60 years I have ever got a hotel room without a window. Whats tha
- Eileen (10/5): - Staff were friendly and informative. The hotel was clean and quiet.
Excellent location! Very walkable to many famous sites. I would recommend .
- LindaB990 (8/5): Fine just to sleep but quite cramped if you spent much time in the room - Very comfortable if small room, no tea/coffee in room but available in bar.
Small selection of dishes at breakfast and supper
- PAMK (6/5): Lacking in maintenance and in need of a deep clean - I do like this place used it for years but several issues are now effecting it.
1. Chair in room was badly stained and the carpets were in need of a deep clean as they were filthy.
2. The sign outside has been broken outside now for must be 12 months with it flickering. This makes it hard to find the place when you’re walking up Brick Lane. How hard can it be to change the bulb? Very poor
3. The coffee machine is also out of order like it was last time meaning that you have to rely on the crap Nescafé out of a sachet.
Nice touch that they offer a toast machine which makes breakfast simple but what happened to the Bacon/Sausage that you used to do🤔
On a positive Staff are always friendly but they need to sort out the above points
- Sylvie (10/5): - .
- Teresa (10/5): - Great location. We bought their breakfast, and the bed was a great size. The room was a little tight.
- 670joycej (10/5): Central location - When we booked, the description said the rooms were compact. Pleasantly surprised by the size of them and perfectly adequate to sleep and shower in
- 234lynnw (10/5): Perfectly placed for a visit to London. - The Soho Premier Inn Hub is ideally situated for a visit to London. It is within walking distance of shops, theatres and restaurants.
The room I had was clean and comfortable and surprisingly quiet!
All the staff were friendly and helpful.
- Richard (8/5): - Communicated with hub at premier in soho through Expedia. Asked for early check in for our two rooms. Got response. Should be no problem. 15 pounds more. Fine.
When I arrived, there was no record of request and only one room avail to do early. She said to check back at 1. I did.
She was curt and said I told you 3.
No. You didn’t.
Also, small flies in room( my guess from the restaurant below.) I still love the price and convenience of hotel, the lippy woman and I just had a bad moment.
- Dimitrios (10/5): - Location is perfect, centrally located. Quiet side street. The staff very attentive and helpful. Bed was super comfortable, room was bery clean. I would definitely recommend and stay again during my next visit to London.
- OnAir68084680598 (8/5): Great location! - At first we had a problem with loud music coming from a pizza place below us. The hotel was very proactive in making sure the pizza place turned the music off at a reasonable time for the nights thereafter. They also credited us for the first of three nights. The rooms are clean, location is perfect, and the staff are incredibly courteous and helpful. Bring your own bathroom supplies, as all that is given is hand and body soap. Overall, a very good experience.
- Voyager50917729697 (4/5): Nice staff, poor cleanliness - The hotel is in a good location. Bars, pubs, restaurants, and the theater are all within easy reach. The staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there was mold in the bathroom, so we had to move to another room. That room also had mold in the bathroom, but a little less. Some things in the room were also broken (ex. bathroom door). Overall, we found the price too high for what we got.
- NIRMAL (8/5): - During check in I was asked to pay for breakfast extra though it was included
After discussing for few minutes they agreed
As per their reasoning bf is included is not very clear in the booking voucher
- 690kalissar (10/5): Perfect base at the heart of Soho - Stayed at hub by Premier Inn London Soho for a quick city break and it was spot on. The room was compact but super clean, modern, and really well designed – exactly what I needed. No issues at all with the room.
Big shout-out to Nancy at reception – she helped me quickly and kindly with a small issue (not even room-related). Really appreciated her professionalism and friendly attitude.
The location is unbeatable if you want to explore central London. Will definitely stay again!
- Kumbi (8/5): - Great location for shopping, dining, and night life.
- Troy (8/5): Great location with caveats - Decent room, surprisingly quiet. Comfortable bed, but stained comforter - for a new hotel, things seemed a bit dinged up.
Great location and good value compared to other offerings. Staff were helpful, but the place seemed under staff.
Had to manually ask for room cleaning, despite having an automated system (over door tags), which didn't make sense.
Breakfast was a plus for the price compared to how expensive London is.
- Mary Ann (10/5): Lovely stay - We enjoyed our stay. The highlight was the free coffee all day. The staff was excellent and friendly. While we only had breakfast one day, it looked very good.
- Tammy (10/5): - Second stay at this property. It's excellent location, close to Notre-Dame Cathedral. Easy access to Hop on Hop Off buses. Walkable with a wide variety restaurants all nearby. Easy access to metro as well.
- Julia (10/5): - Incredible location. No complaints.
- Keith (6/5): - GREAT location if you plan to walk. Construction had the road blocked so you have to walk to the end of the road for Ubers. It’s not a huge deal, but if you have a lot of luggage, wheeling it down the cobblestone could be tricky. The A/C made an odd winding sound every 15 minutes.
- TODD (10/5): - Very clean and modern
- Celia (8/5): - Rooms are small. No space for a desk for a computer . Otherwise good little hotel.
- Bex (6/5): - You get what you pay for with a budget hotel. The bed was uncomfortable, it was a queen bed but had a hard piece in the middle of the bed that made sleeping anywhere but the edge of the bed terrible. They "ran out of towel" and couldn't get a delivery because it was pride, so I didn't get any replacement towels even though I asked twice. The AC in the room randomly would change to hear and blow hot air. My window was tinted/opaque and did not get any natural light.
- Annika (10/5): - Bra boende med gångavstånd till Oxfordstreet mm
