Guest Reviews
- Luci (2/5): - Basin was dirty and shower too. Bed was springy and uncomfortable. It is a pitty owners do not put enough interest in this beautiful property only needs TLC
- Kayden (6/5): - It was ok, over priced though at $170 for a night. There was foot prints embeded into the carpet, the rooms were very old, the door to the rear had gaps big eneought to fir a small animal through. Shawer was nice and hot, and the bed was not comfortable at all. And very noisy from people arriveing at 11pm at night.
- Jessica (6/5): - Lake Clifton tavern is in the bush which makes it peaceful.
Food was average but eatable
The room was ok
Bathroom wasn't mold on the shower curtain and the shower head needs replacing it was falling of the wall
Aircon made a noise all night
All in all for a night it did the job
- Leesa (4/5): - The bed,
- MICHAEL (8/5): - Clean room, hotel staff addressed issue we had very promptly
- Lepeti (10/5): - Highly recommend, if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle this is the place to stay, hidden gem!
- Jayne (10/5): - Other than a bed harder than what we’re used to it was excellent! Rose and Chris are amazing
- Hannah (8/5): - lovely check in with warm helpful hosts
- Jenny (8/5): - Quiet area and the staff very hospitable. Tavern is small and welcoming, meals tasty. Motel room needs maintenance but comfy bed and plenty of parking.
- Mark (8/5): Nice peaceful weekend away - Friendly nice couple run this place . Peaceful and quiet! Great for a weekend away
- Jennifer kay (6/5): - The Room was okay for a over night Stay .But Noisy people Next Door.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Fridge smell not good
Clean not good
Party the night it was hard to sleep
- Jeffrey (10/5): Great stay in a quiet location. - Great overnight stay.
Very friendly staff.
- Melissa (8/5): - Older rooms but clean and tidy. Owner and her staff were lovely. Great customer service. They were happy to help, went out of their way for our family. We will be back.
- Mish (6/5): - Would have appreciated hand towels and a bath mat but otherwise ok for a bed on your travels
- Nickki (6/5): - there was tea and coffee available however nothing to wash your cups etc. Spent 3 nights and room not cleaned and we ran out of toilet paper. The bed was not comfortable you could feel the springs, but the pillows were good. Good blinds in room and spacious. The TV was small and in a weird spot to be able to watch. Had one meal at the tavern and the owners are nice. The bathroom was not clean and had holes in the wall.
- Robert (10/5): Wonderful Place - Chris & Rose are the new proprietors of this old hotel/tavern that has been shut since COVID. They have spent a lot of time restoring it and the food is outstanding, beds nice a comfy, and a great shower. Cannot recommend this establishment enough for friendliness and professionalism.
