After 2 nights in Edinburgh, it was refreshing to go into the Scotland countryside and find a place to stay like this that was so quiet. We learned that the house was built in 1743. Located on a somewhat secluded road, it is close to the community of Scone where there are some nice dining options. The breakfast was superb. Our room was very comfortable. The claw foot bathtub was a nice feature. The host was very nice and accommodating.

The grounds were exactly what you would picture a Scottish countryside to be…birds chirping, wildflowers abounding and friendly chickens. It was such a peaceful and relaxing stay. We loved it!
