• Myriam (8/5): Great staff, I felt heard - The room is tiny, not like the pictures. The hotel is beautiful and feels like new. The staff is great and after the first night (which was very noisy and I couldn’t sleep) did everything to make my stay better. The staff is great, I think they need a bit better management. The restaurant in the top floor is amazing, but closed to the public, half of the week for events

• betty (8/5): - I didn’t like that the parking lot was not in the building you have to park a block away. Is not easy when you have big luggage. We did get help but walking in the street with luggage I didn’t like. Also what I didn’t like was that I ordered a drink at the rooftop bar and when I was paying my drink the bartender said you have to leave tip. I was like what now is mandatory leaving tip.

Was disappointed.. Web does not state parking is available & we were not informed that it was available until an hour before check in .. we were already on our way in an uber.

• Rocio (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay at Cardedeu in the Historic Center. The hotel has a perfect balance of modern comfort and the charm of the historic district. The rooms were clean, stylish, and very comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make the stay welcoming. I especially appreciated the location. The atmosphere felt safe and relaxing, and the common areas were beautifully designed. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the service was consistently attentive. I would highly recommend Cardedeu Historic Center to anyone visiting San Salvador who wants both convenience and comfort with a touch of boutique elegance.

We felt very safe and found a fun place to eat and toured both the National Palace and Library - highly recommend both! This hotel is literally on the front row to all of the amazing progress El Salvador is making. I found this part of the trip very inspirational.

• Cesar (10/5): - Beautiful hotel, staff was friendly and helpful. Parking access is a little far and I would suggest a cart for luggage. Also a generator for hotel when they lose power. We lost power on two occasions so probably happens often. I would definitely come back here and highly recommend it.

• FABIAN (6/5): - The hotel is beautiful & centrally located. Silvestre, the onsite restaurant, offers a delicious complimentary breakfast. The staff is very helpful EXCEPT for the manager, Gustavo and this very condescending woman at the front desk. Gustavo is incompetent & goes against what he says he's going to do to accommodate you. I was there for 3 days & tried to us to change rooms on the 2nd day. No... If you have a car, the parking is free but you need to show an picture to the garage. They sent it you via WhatsApp but I don't really use What's App. Also, when we checked in, no one mentioned this us. The girl at the front desk was rude & condescending. The hotel is nice, the staff is great expect for Gustavo and the front desk girl.

• Lauren (10/5): - I loved my stay here! This was my first time in El Salvador and I was traveling alone, so I knew I wanted some place central so I could feel safe. This hotel delivered on that and much more. It's super nice inside, very fancy. I enjoyed breakfast each morning downstairs and found the staff very welcoming, kind, and attentive. My room was also great. Huge bed, nice bathroom. Do note that the hotel is located in the city square, so cars cannot enter there. If you're doing day tours with companies, they will likely tell you to walk about 100m to meet them on the corner. Other than that, lovely hotel that I would happily go back to!
• Monte (2/5): - The staff was very good. It is 11pm and the music from a broadcast (not live entertainment) from the courtyard is rattling the windows. It is the worst hotel experience I have had in decades!! Management should have told me before checking in that there was going to be window shaking music in the three suites (not one, three) i reserved for my family, that would last until 1pm!! I think business that charges $125 for 6 cocktails, a bottle of water and a soft drin could afford better communication. The has apologized but the only acceptable apology will be a complete refund.

Breakfast’s service was bad, waited too long to get service, cdld coffee, waiting for food was too long. Not worth the money for the hotel!

One of the staff members was very helpful Brandon, he point me to the right direction. Help me with my luggage. There is a lack of communication in between staff members, someone open my room around 6:00 AM while I was sleeping with my girls. I spoke with the front desk, she said they were sorry. Apparently the not all the staff was aware the that room was occupied. I told her that was a lack of communication between them, and that they were invading my privacy.

• LEYDA (8/5): - The hotel was beautiful clean comfortable if you go make sure you get a drink from Eduardo in the downstair bar his drinks were delicious good the best ones we try in El Salvador, we went up to the roof top and drink were horrible we were so disappointed the we came back down stairs and ask Eduardo to make it for us another down fall is the room was very very small my luggage in the room your bed is a step away from the door room is way way to small
• Walter (10/5): - Excellent spot to stay while visiting downtown San Salvador. Everything around the hotel is vibrant and there are lots of restaurants and shops to go to. At night, everything becomes alive and with all the lights, and even more people comes to enjoy the park, cathedral, biblioteca, and national palace. Great place to be overall.

• Alex (10/5): - The only thing is that the parking lot is not convenient. Living the bags in the car is not convenient at all. Waking from the parking space to the hotel is quite confusing. Make Sure to bring small backpack to bring your personal stuff.

The welcome at the hotel by the staff was great they even sent helpers to help with the luggage from their parking garage as it is a bit of walk from the hotel. They greeted us well and accommodating. The room was great, it was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. I actually got a great night of sleep. We love that we were in the center of it all. Beautiful scenery throughout the entire day. If you can get the room with the balcony then go for it you won't be disappointed. At night we headed to the rooftop for some drinks. Once again the staff was great. We truly enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be back.

• IRVIN (2/5): - I didn't like anything. They locked the door at night and the guard wouldn't open the door to enter. The bathroom didn't had a mirror and water was getting out of the batthroom and I tripped and fall hitting my head. Then the parkimg lot got closed fown and lost my flight because the parking was closed. Worst hotel ever. I want my money back
