Guest Reviews
- Yee man (2/5): - Not recommended.
- Kim (4/5): - There are five split-system reverse cycle air conditioners in the property, but only two were working! I can’t imagine how unbearable it would be in the summer. When we stayed, the place was absolutely freezing.
The main bathroom had multiple issues: the cold water tap wasn’t working and had been tightly screwed shut by the host. We were told to use only the hot water or go to the kitchen. On top of that, the bathroom’s fan and heater didn’t work either. There was also no waterproofing on the glass door or shower panel, so the entire bathroom floor was soaked and dangerously slippery after use.
In the kitchen, broken electrical appliances were left lying around, and in the dining area, there were exposed screws at ankle height — a serious safety hazard, especially for families with young children. Many of the cupboard handles were damaged as well.
To make matters worse, there were two ovens (a portable one and a gas oven below the stovetop), but not a single baking tray provided. If you plan to cook, you’ll need to bring your own.
These are all basic maintenance issues that could easily be addressed before guests arrive, but the host clearly didn’t bother.
If you're going to charge a premium nightly rate, the least you can do is ensure everything is in working order and the space is safe. Unfortunately, the overall experience gave the impression that the hosts are only interested in taking your money, with little regard for whether you'd ever return.
