- Mats (8/5): - Rummet motsvarade inte förväntningarna på ett superiorrum. Fönstren var täckta med folie så att det inte gick att se ut vilket förklarades av att utsikten var som ett skrotupplag. I övrigt helt ok.

- Melanie (6/5): - Gute Lage direkt an der Altstadt. Dass es keine Parkplätze gibt, war bekannt. Allerdings war es schon eine Herausforderung, lange genug anhalten zu können, um das Gepäck zu entladen. Das Hotel war eine merkwürdige Mischung aus neu gemacht und alten Details. Zimmer an sich sehr schön. Etwas sauberer wäre auf jeden Fall möglich. Der Service war in Summe bestenfalls mittelmäßig. Die Dame beim Check-in war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück, das es an unserem ersten Tag bis 11:00 Uhr geben sollte, wurde bereits um 10:45 Uhr rigoros abgebaut. Service am Tisch bekam man bereits ab 10:30 Uhr nicht mehr, meinen Kaffee musste ich mir regelrecht erjagen. Beim Check-out wurde mir Hilfe mit den Koffern angeboten, als ich gerade das letzte Gepäckstück aus dem Hotel schleifte. Alle vorher auch schon unter den Augen des zahlreich anwesenden Personals. Alles in allem ok. Aber dem vermeintliche Anspruch, den man vor sich herträgt, wird man definitiv nicht gerecht.
- Janine (4/5): - The hotel has recently been refurbished to a Movenpick hotel and is still not quite finished! On our floor they were still renovating rooms. Our bedroom had frosted glass window as it looked out onto a horrible view of pipes and metal units it also smelt of drains .The rooms are not soundproof so we were woken up at 1:30 by people in room next door talking loudly and having tv up loud The bathroom was ill thought out no storage space for toiletries just one sink The bathroom floods when you use the shower because the panels are not long enough. Breakfast was chaotic no space between tables on the terrace so people constantly bumping into our chairs including staff. Management need to get a grip ! Would not stay here again.

- DANIELE (8/5): L'hotel più VIP di Bari - Posto bellissimo e nuovo, pieno di marmi e spazioso. Camera favolosa e letto enorme. Colazione eccellente (su richiesta latte fresco e non pastorizzato al posto di quello pastorizzato per cappuccino) con vista sulla Bari vecchia. Trovo però che non si possa scrivere sul sito che un servizio é presente (la palestra) quando, ancora dopo mesi, é ancora in allestimento.
- Jacob (8/5): Nice hotel but not sure worth the money - The hotel has recently opened and has been refurbished. All done very nicely apart from the bathrooms which are still a bit dated. There were no robes, hairdryer or ironing board in the room. We had to call twice to get it, so the service was a bit shoddy. Some staff were nice and some a bit sassy. Great location though. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Just not sure it was worth the money they charged. Breakfast was yummy and great views.

The negative parts where mainly that 1) the breakfast options where limited and could barely find something that I wanted to eat, 2) the water pressure in the shower 3) did not feel that the bedding was hygiene since the pillow cases are open on the side

- Nausher (6/5): - Property was conveniently located & pleasntly anointed. Apart from Jada ( who was smart & understood our needs) the staff needs a lot to be desired. The hotel is ill equipped to take care of an injured customer. When I needed some medical attention, a couple of staff members were really insensitive & sent us on a long taxi ride 45 minutes away. The clinic we were sent to did not even open until 8pm. Now we were stuck in the middle of nowhere with a language barrier could not find a way to get back. After a 4 hour ordeal we finally arrived back at the hotel. Jada arranged for a doctor to come to see me. I did not understand why Noemi could not do the same. She knew the extent of my injuries & yet sent me on a trip so far away. The doctor was available & was right behind the hotel. This was maddening & very insensitive. I will not be staying at the Movenpick anytime in the future

Camera molto ampia,dotata di tutti i comfort. Sicuramente dovessimo tornare a Bari, il Mövenpick sarà la nostra prima scelta!

The staff was highly professional and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. Even a minor check-in issue was resolved quickly and with genuine kindness, reflecting the team’s commitment to guest satisfaction. Breakfast was a true highlight: not only was the service outstanding, but the venue also offered a breathtaking view of the old town and waterfront, making every morning feel special. What stood out most, however, was the thoughtful care shown when a personal item—a nightgown—was misplaced. The staff promptly located it and delivered it back to us, a gesture that perfectly exemplifies their dedication and hospitality. Overall, the Mövenpick Bari provided a seamless and memorable stay. We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city and look forward to returning on future trips.

- Xavier (10/5): Hôtel neuf centre ville - Hôtel au pied de la vieille ville. Accès à pied. Hôtel neuf 08/25. Chambre spacieuse. Bien équipée. Restaurant calme et agréable. Grand choix au petit déjeuner. Le soir apéritivo (une conso et l’hôtel offre des bouchées salée). Du personnel sympa et qui est toujours disponible.
- andrea (8/5): - La posizione dell’hotel è davvero comoda e centrale. Il personale alla reception è stato molto gentile e disponibile, così come lo staff addetto alla colazione: sempre cordiale e attento alle esigenze degli ospiti. La pulizia della camera, però, non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative per un 4 stelle. In più occasioni la stanza è stata riordinata in modo superficiale, con poca attenzione ai dettagli e una sensazione generale di scarsa cura. Anche il set di cortesia offerto era molto essenziale. Un altro punto critico riguarda la differenza tra le foto viste sui siti di prenotazione e la camera effettivamente assegnata al check-in. Anche se si tratta della stessa tipologia, l’aspetto reale – sia della stanza che del bagno – può risultare molto diverso: meno moderno e meno curato. Questo può generare aspettative errate e lasciare l’impressione di essere stati tratti in inganno. Infine, considerando che l’hotel fa parte della catena Mövenpick, è lecito aspettarsi un certo livello di qualità e coerenza con gli standard del marchio, cosa che in questo caso purtroppo è venuta meno in diversi aspetti del soggiorno.

La ubicación es inmejorable, la decoración es preciosa, las instalaciones con mucho espacio, las habitaciones muy cómodas, el desayuno estaba muy rico y el staff siempre muy dispuesto a ayudar. Es el hotel en el que mi familia y yo nos quedaremos cada que regresemos a Bari.

- Peter Eriksen (4/5): Good location, but unprofessional front desk staff - Hotel just (re)opened a few days before we checked in and was/is still undergoing a refurbishment. There is potential, but at this point, I cannot recommed the hotel. It actually pains me to write this because part of the staff were lovely, but two of the front desk staff were were unprofessional and frankly unsuited for their jobs. We arrived at 1½-2 hours before official check-in time (15:00), and rooms were, not surprisingly, not ready at that time. No problem, we had lunch and came back at 15:30-16:00. When we got back, there was a long line for check-in, and nothing happening. I asked the front desk staff about when she expected we could get our room; she was dismissive and said "we have to check the rooms, it will be a few minutes". Half an hour went by, nothing happened and no information, and I was once again met by a very dismissive attitude when I inquired. At approx 16:15, we got our room. However, the cleanliness left something to wish for - eg. there was left a plastic wrapper from a tampon on the floor and water/urine stains on the toilet seat and the wall. It took several hours to get this remedied, including several frustrating, almost comedic, discussions with the front desk staff. We never got towels for two people despite asking for it several times. I could continue. The manager sent us a bottle of sparkling wine and nice note to compensate; nice gesture. But ultimately service not good enough. Please note that the advertised gym is not yet open.
