Guest Reviews
- Marjorie (8/5): - family friendly
- Russell (6/5): - I was confirmed for two rooms for four adults for several months prior to our trip. The day of our arrival I received a phone call from the hotel. Our rooms WERE NOT available. I was offered two additional rooms at no extra cost. I excepted this . However it was a terrible inconvenience to myself and my group . Still don't know why the hotel did not have what i asked for ! Thank you
- Paula (8/5): - The place is beautiful but needs more than one towel and washcloth per person when you are staying more than one night. Disappointed there was not a hairdryer available and did not like the hours for the front desk - they leave too early and return too late.
- Kathy (8/5): - The staff were always very helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfy and clean. The whole building was kept very clean in all the public areas.
- Mirayda (8/5): - Yes
- Todd (4/5): - Staff not responding
Dirty rooms and bathrooms
- Joan (2/5): - Customer service could be better.
- Angela (8/5): - Place close to eat and shop
- Sandy (6/5): - Let me say that this review is based on the fact that it was not totally clear to me because I booked via Expedia that this a an "extended stay hotel" and a new concept. We arrived to the new hotel for a business stay to find out that the elevator was out of service and would be the entire week of our stay. Additionally, I had booked this specific location because it has a full kitchenette to find out that it was not stocked, literally nothing, and told that I had to buy the things I needed to the tune of $100. They explained that this is because they are extended stay, (months) and they do allow short term stay but still do not provide these items. We had to carry all of our event and personal items up and down 3 flights of stairs. We were offered no discounts and no refund. I have health issues and this was quite difficult for us. I do not blame the staff and the hotel was clean and orderly, but I do think that they should not be allowed to advertise on Expedia without clear warnings and explanations to their users.
- Christopher (6/5): - The room was clean, if not spartan. Only two towels were provided, no extras. The front desk clerk apparently wanted to leave by 10:00 PM; she kept calling me to find out when we would arrive. What hotel doesn't staff the front desk 24x7??? This was not noted on the property description that I recall! For the price, I probably would not go back. At about $130/night, I might.
- Frank (4/5): - Everything is extra (IE coffee pot, dishes, etc) and this not advertised. Extended stays normally provide these. Room was to be upper floor and they gave it away. Check in clerk was very curt in her communicating. Noisy and we ended up with handicapped room where bed was like being on the floor. Then they tried to charge us extra monies when we left telling us they raised the price after we paid for our week. Will not stay here again.
- Gosia (6/5): - We arrived there around midnight and were welcomed by a very unfriendly front desk worker that walked to us half a sleep and barefoot. She was very unhappy with our late check-in and did not say hi, by or thank you during whole conversation. She was mean and we felt unwelcomed in this hotel. Room was new and clean but the check-in experience left us with unpleasant feelings. I would not stay there in the future.
- rachel (10/5): - very attentive staff and clean facilities
- Kenneth (4/5): - Staff was friendly, but service was not. Charged an extra
- Jose (10/5): - Clean. Safe.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Elkhart, IN - This hotel is used by contractors and workers. The noise was unbearable and the hotel didn’t address the issue.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The pillows were horrible and there was no coffee pot in the room.
Positives:
Clean, friendly staff
- Heidi (8/5): - No one to check out at 730 am. Told over phone to just leave room cards anywhere on the counter… no box to put into… shady.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - This is a brand new hotel, and there were ants everywhere!!! The walls are very thin. You can hear everything. A lot of riffraff have checked in and they’re staying there for weeks at a time. The hotel is quickly becoming a place for smokers drinkers who don’t have places to live.
- Christy (6/5): - The property is brand new. The rooms are spacious and the lobby and common areas are nice. The water pressure in the bathroom sink is very low and definitely needs to be adjusted. The water temperature in the shower never got above lukewarm no matter how long we ran it for. The WiFi is hit or miss. We couldn’t get it the first night, but got it the 2nd night for a bit. The manager was nice and did offer a discount for the WiFi issues.
- Capucine (8/5): Clean place to stay in Elkhart - Good place. Lots of “extended stay” guests. Clean and up to date. NOTE: free coffee only from 7am to 11am. Also: Front desk not open from 11pm to 8am (need to dial 500 on lobby phone for afterhour service).
