- Lionel (10/5): - The property was clean, the staff were all professional, efficient, and hard working. The location is excellent, not to close to the busy city, not so far away where it takes forever to get anywhere. The food options at the in house restaurant are limited but excellently prepared l, the complementary breakfast is plentiful, everything was high quality. Staff is always around to assist, and or help out. I your 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Iceland.

- Min (10/5): - It was great, the hotel is brand new that there still have that new wood smell. Simple aesthetics, clean rooms. Good selection of breakfast. Not much facilities than restaurant though. I wish they put at least one or two local tv channel as I want to know what shows Icelandic people watch. They are mostly mostly american channel. If I want to watch them, I just stay at home.

- Sharon (8/5): - I requested a top floor when I books more than a month ago and when we arrived they acts as though e never requested this option. There is a reason why someone would make such a request, especially for noise reason! Of course a heavy set couple was noisy for sleep - both going to sleep and in the early morning as well! They just old 2 months ago and I booked 5 weeks after they open so I do not understand why I would be one of the last one to get a top floor! Courtesy and fairness please.
- Niels (10/5): - Instead of hopping from hotel to hotel we decided to stay in one hotel and do all the sightseeing from there. Hotel Loa is located very central in the South path. Right on highway. Good breakfast, friendly staff and comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend.
- Corneal (4/5): - Check in was a disaster. I booked and paid for a Triple Superior room that was specifically stated to have a king and a twin. when we got to our to the room, it had one bed. I was not traveling with a spouse so this was not acceptable. After waiting for 15-20 minutes, the clerk said that the problem was solved but all they did was separate the beds. It allowed us to keep the room but it was not what was paid for in my reservation. A word of warning for anyone else making a reservation under these circumstances at this property: If you book a triple room and only list two occupants their reservation system will arbitrarily give one bed no matter what you actually paid for. This situation clearly affected our opinion of this hotel. Aside from what we considered to be a questionable business practice, the hotel was very impressive. It is new with a very striking design in the lobby and bar area, expansive views of the open areas surrounding the hotel. The rooms were very nice. The breakfast was exceptional both for quality and the variety of food provided. We had stayed in many hotels in eight countries in Europe during our extended trip and Hotel Loa breakfast stood out as the best .

Not up to par yet, some things, like TP holder, missing in our room. 3.Ran out of eggs halfway thru the breakfast time and no OJ--disappointing. Only open 1 1/2 months. Still getting organized I think.
- Carl (8/5): - This is a brand new building, that needs a couple little tune-ups as they go. The bed was the most comfortable we had, the breakfast was amazing, and the staff (especially Alicia at the front) was very good. We would definitely stay here again.

- Joakim (6/5): Nice hotel with some small drawbacks - Amazing hotell, a little bit of location wise but close to adventures on the south-east coast. The hotel is very new and nice, a bit dark as they turn down the lightning. The only negative was the staff, or parts of. Some of them were polite and friendly but most of them looked grumpy and did not even say hi. One guy looked like an angry thug looking for a fight :) Overall a nice hotel

While all the hardware works, there could be some improvement. Sounds proofing is not enough if you stay on the ground floor. You can hear noise from upstairs. Breakfast buffet has all the standard choices.

- Jim (10/5): - Very new, very nice, very European (nice wood finishes, high tech faucets, etc.). Loved our 3-day stay in a suite room, which faced a serene view. The location is in some ways "in the middle of nowhere", but we liked this location for travel in different directions on different days. Coming off of 25 days on a cruise ship we had way too much baggage to want to "hotel hop" around Iceland. More specifically: it was not too far to Golden circle, we could drive to Diamond Beach and back (a must see for us) one day, and it was only a two hour drive to the International Airport for a noon departure at the end of our trip. Other notes: * refrigerator w/ ice would be nice (cabinet seemed ready for one - maybe in the future); we had to ask for a bucket of ice from the bar for our room each day * breakfast spread was really fantastic and possibly the best we have ever had at any hotel or B&B that included breakfast * two coffee machines at breakfast provided excellent coffee, expresso, lattes, and more * all staff were friendly and helpful

Super nice staff :) only few thing they could do better is related to the breakfast (which was included to the price that was also quite fine for Iceland): they could add labels to the foods. On the other hand there were a great selection of foods and also vegan options so I can only recommend this place highly.
- Mircea (10/5): - This hotel looks brand new, as if it opened yesterday. Very clean, modern rooms, very good buffet for breakfast, and surprisingly good dinner. Right next to the N1 station where tour busses pick you up. Great location to set a base for exploring the south coast.

La camera ha i metri quadri promessi, ma il grande bagno toglie spazio intorno ai letti. Mancano punti d’appoggio per le valigie, spazio per gli abiti/giubbotti, ganci in bagno per appendere gli asciugamani usati.

- Janey (10/5): - Property and room were brand new. Spacious and nice. Upon check-in, our room did not have bath towels but was remedied quicky. Breakfast buffet was lovely. I would suggest that hotel offers a fan in the room. Summer, although not warm an no AC is needed, it would be nice to have airflow without opening windows (which have no screen) and can be noisy outside.

Staff quickly brought fan and helped open window. Nice breakfast and only complaint is bacon really needed to cook substantially longer. At least some of it should be done. Would certainly stay again.
