We enjoyed our stay!

Check in was easy and the room very comfortable. Coffee pods were provided for each morning of my stay, thanks! What I didn’t realize was there is a full common use kitchen available if needed. Parking can be tight, but I managed to find a spot each day. Would recommend to others.

The room was just like the photos; it was clean, spacious and the internet connection was excellent. I didn't see any staff, which I already knew it was going to be that way, but since I had all I needed in my room, I didn't needed to contact the hotel (the contact number was available). Would definitely stay there again and I recommend it!

- David (6/5): - So first up, this isn't a hotel. It's a room in a facility which gives the impression it may have been at one time student accommodation or something similar. Now admin to an airbnb room rental, hotel is stretching the description somewhat. The room is clean, functional, bed is comfy, it had a kitchenette with a fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher(but no sink!) and it's reasonably well equipped. There is a separate shower room also as well as a decent amount of storage. The room is compact but liveable. The "hotel" is in fact 2 corridors of about 10 rooms in a "facility" which is akin to some sort of ex-municipal building.. There are no staff, you get whatsapped a code to enter the facility as well as the room. We didn't see a member of staff at any point in the 3 days we stayed. Towels are provided (but not changed unless you email a request to do so). Location is good. 20 minutes walk into old Quebec, supermarket and pharmacy opposite, free parking with about 20 spaces so enough for 1 car per room. Overall it's ok for a room, but it's not a hotel and I would say it's expensive for what you get. But it's comfy, convenient and fine for short stays.

- Rosemary (10/5): Would stay here again - Interesting hotel in an interesting neighborhood. About a nice 20 minute walk to the gate of the Old City. Very quiet and parking available. Nice room with coffee maker and fridge. Good value
- Georgina (10/5): - It was excellent, clean, quiet, well positioned, in a safe area. My only comment would be, that, though the room size was adequate for a single person, if 2 people shared the same room there would not be much room to move around in.

Parking accommodates 90% of the cars, and we were able to leave the car parked and walk most days. Ubered once and it was $10 from right outside the old city gates. There is also a nice grocery store across the street with lots of options for heat and eat meals if you need an early night in.

Listing details are accurate but each room is different and some kitchenettes don't have sinks or sitting areas. I would stay here again.

(No USB connection outlet to charge your phone). If you need just overnight stay it would be a good choice. Not for demanding people.

Also easy to catch public transit, both the 807 basically in front or walk up a block and catch the 800. There is also an IGA a block away. The room was cozy, had a Keurig, toaster oven, microwave, dishwasher, mini fridge, plates, etc. I liked that there was a sitting area and table to eat at in the room. The bathroom is spacious, the water pressure and temperature was great. I would stay here again in the future.

For a longer trip having a toaster oven, kettle, coffee machine, fridge and microwave is convenient for quick breakfasts and also food shopping and wine! Communication is automated but excellent. We didn't see any humans on site (even the cleaning ladies were invisible). The only cons are the air conditioning unit is quite loud and there's no gym. Otherwise everything you could possibly want in a hotel is here. Conveniently located - 15-20 min walk to the major attractions. Would definitely stay here again!

- Joshua (10/5): - I very much enjoyed my stay at La Saint Paixe in Montcalm. Check-in and check-out were seamless and done through codes you're provided by email, and the room was both comfortable and super quiet. While I didn't use it, there's a nice outdoor terrace on the ground floor with tables and chairs. The free parking both in front and behind the building were also a big plus! While the area immediately surrounding the building is pretty quiet (good for sleep!), the building is a stone's throw from Cartier, right up the stairs from Saint Roch, and a 10 minute walk or so from the core part of Saint-Jean Baptiste. And, in the nicer weather, you have an Avelo bikeshare station approx. a 5 minute walk from the hotel to get around elsewhere!

- Rejean (10/5): - The property was exactly like advertised. Self check in and self check out. Access to shared kitchen and terrasse. The room was very clean and the bathroom as well. Exactly what we were looking for. It is a bit of walk to Vieux-Quebec but we knew this as well. We always had access to a parking space at the building, but we did travel from Tuesday to Thursday so perhaps it is busier at different times and you might not be as lucky. There are several places to eat nearby. Bring a helmet if you want to use a rental bicycle.

- Jean-Pierre (10/5): La Sainte Paix, plus qu'un nom, une réalité ! - Très belle découverte à Québec, cet hôtel a été rénové et decoré avec goût. Comme son nom l'indique, La Sainte Paix est un endroit tranquille et paisible, à quelques pas de la rue Cartier et de ses restos. Nous y retournerons certainement lors de notre prochaine visite à Québec.
- Grace (4/5): Not like the photos - I selected the hotel thinking that it was new and fresh looking, but it was actually old and small, it looks like a dorm room or fancy hostel than a hotel. I don’t know why it got such good reviews. My room was dirty looking with ugly and aged carpet, and poorly stocked with items for guests to be self service such as dishwasher pods, tissues, towels and trash bags. They would not collect trash or clean the room during our stay. We had to speak to the manager to get one cleaning during our week there. The room was very small and felt very stuffy, so any trash left in the room would smell. I was pretty miserable during my stay.
- Frank (8/5): - DON’T LOSE YOUR ENTRY CODE … I’m starting off with this, because I did forget it…my phone died and there was absolutely no way to get back in your room. My issue was resolved by a kind stranger, but just a heads up (the ONLY reason this didn’t get 5 stars from me). All that being said, I’d for sure stay here again…a great facility within walking distance of the fortified city…tons of great shopping, restaurants, coffee places, and grocery stores close by. A very enjoyable room in, what I believe to be, a converted medical facility…tons of space and beautifully appointed from start to finish.

It was super convenient from Old Quebec, maximum 20 minute walk and lots of fun stuff on the way. The neighborhood is great with lots of cafes to pick up breakfast. Also easy access just with a code.

There was a grocery store nearby and downtown restaurants within walking distance. The lobby area needed a refresh. While using the elevator on floor 2, I had trouble finding the button to take me to the first floor. Was it “00”? No, it was “RC.” I dont get the logic to that. There is no front desk in the lobby so no staff. All the communication that I had was via text message. I was texted early in the morning to be out of the room by 11:00 a.m. Overall it was a positive experience.

There are restaurants and a supermarket nearby, which is very convenient. The room was cozy and comfortable. There is no on-site staff, but all the check-in information, including the room number, was sent via text and the process was smooth. A good option for a quiet and independent stay.

- Michèle (10/5): - Très bien situé, à demi-heure de marche de la porte St-Jean. Accès facile aux restos de la rue Cartier. Confortable sans luxe, très propre et pratique. On apprécie la cuisinette. Un pancarte au niveau de la rue pour l'entrée du stationnement arrière serait bien utile pour mieux localiser.
- Marc-André (6/5): - Hôtel super propre. Systeme de réception par texto avec clef super conviviale. L'airclim n'était pas fonctionnelle et les nuits trop fraiche pour fenetre ouverte. Nous entendions tout ce qui se passait dans le corridor et lorsque les autres prenait leur douche. Le fait de devoir garder nos serviettes utiliser 2 jours de suite n'était pas super, meme pour l'environnement comme y disent.
- Yolanda (10/5): - Close to many restaurants and cafes. Check in very easy. The entrance and public area are beautiful. Room is very cozy. Special touches include actual wine glasses in the room, and creamers in the fridge for coffee. Very comfortable room.
- Debra (10/5): - Great stay. I keep coming back. Self check-in process is easy and the rooms are comfortable. Great location to where you need to go. Short walk to old town or other locations of interest. Parking is easy. The decor of the property is also unique and special.
